He was very straight forward about the estimate of the car and had told me what the process was going to be. My entire family has been clients of Caliber for more than 10 years, and the service was always exceptional. Last week I had an issue of a different sort-- my car was vandalized, and spray painted with racial slurs overnight at my house. I have lived in Los Angeles my entire life and have never experienced anything so disgusting and horrible. The thought of driving my car made me sick to my stomach so I had it towed to Caliber. As I explained the situation to Nancy I just broke down. Her kindness and sympathy was very touching. She tried to comfort me as I cried and gave me a a desk to sit at to collect myself so I could call my insurance company. I was a mess. Jack and Sean were at my car within minutes rubbing away, and thankfully were able to remove the paint. Each one of them expressed genuine empathy, and I even got nice hugs. Even now I am still trying to grapple with the situation. It is truly sad that there are still people filled with such hatred. Luckily these three wonderful souls who went above and beyond reminded me that there is still good in the world, and I will never take my car anywhere else! I was worried about contact during COVID, but I felt very safe. The staff- Mark the manager, the receptionist , all the workers, are friendly and helpful. The very high quality work was done in a timely manner, and their communication with me was extraordinary . The pricing was reasonable , and wait/ they didn't try to gouge me with extras/ they actually let me know when it wasn't really necessary. After washing my car, my 2016 Honda looks brand new. It is hard to find trustworthy , reasonably priced high quality work. It is hard to find businesses staffed by friendly , attentive people. This place is the real deal / . Terrible communication. Refered by state farm website. Caliber reaches out, sets up a time, has me sign all the paperwork, don't leave items in your car ask if I need a rental, etc. I show up. I brought my car here after one of my fog lights fell down due to a broken screw bracket. My dealership wanted to completely change my bumper, which felt super unnecessary. If you want a little more flexibly with the rebuild of your vehicle, then I would stay away from Caliber. I want to let everyone know that Caliber will only build your vehicle back to stock. They will not entertain any questions or inquiries that you may have about installing custom parts--even if those parts require no fabrication and fit directly into the factory harness just as the stock ones do. If you want a different part installed that does not come from the manufacturers that they order from and work with, they will turn you away. Its, "their way, or the highway" as the cliche goes. Furthermore, if you don't want a certain part installed, for whatever reason it may be, then they won't touch your vehicle either--even if the vehicle can legally operate without it. I believe that they follow a protocol for each vehicle and the parts required to fix it and if you want to deviate from that at all then they will not be interested in your business. Again, "their way, or the highway" I took my business to another shop--they were happy to install the part I wanted and were happy to keep off the parts i didn't want. Always explore multiple options when shopping out vehicle repairs. You might find a shop that is willing to build the vehicle back to the way you want it to be--unlike Caliber who will only build it they way they want to. And for the record, id give their customer service a 6/10. My appointment was at 1:00pm and I wasn't even helped until about 1:20, and thats for both times i came in. They are nice tho...when they do get around to helping you, which is why they get a 6. read more

Waste of time. I had an appointment to take my car in and I showed up. They took photos of my car, asked about the claim and they said they would reach out to the insurance company and I will hear back in about 4-5 days. I never heard back from them. When I did try calling them, the line was always ringing for minutes and then auto-shut off. I gave the benefit of the doubt because it was the holidays. I just called them now and they said they didn't even have my car on FILE. Terrible customer service!! Go elsewhere. read more

Absolutely the best car repair place I have ever used!!!! I'd leave 20 stars if I could. My catalytic converter was stolen from my prius. My insurance recommended Caliber. They came within an hour and towed my card back to their shop. And 2 days later DROPPED it back off to me!!! I didn't even have to go there to pick up. Who does that???!!!! White glove service. I was very impressed with the customer service at caliper collision. This was my first visit there as I needed to have a rearview mirror installed. Nancy in the office was very helpful and then John took care of everything I needed to get the job done. They were courteous and receptive to any questions I had. As I was leaving I remembered a automatic door lock problem and asked John about it. He inspected my car took my VIN number and came back in just a few minutes with a detailed Illustration of the door lock problem and also the part number that I would need and the cost of what it would be to get it from Acura and said if I can get it anywhere for less go ahead and do it then I could bring it back and they would repair my door lock. Over all it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back there again. Oh, and the cost to install the mirror was way less than I expected. They didn't charge me at all! read more
