Many years ago, this place was called Valencia Coachworks, and my Dad swore by it. I got rear ended on the freeway a couple months ago and I was doing my due diligence with getting different quotes for the repair. I decided to check it out and when I arrived, I noticed the name had changed to Caliber Collision. I arrived at 330pm on a Thursday for an estimate, and as I parked the car, I observed about 5 male staff members standing outside in a circle having a conversation. I didn't think anything of it, until I left. And that's because I walked up to the counter, told the clerk I was there for an estimate. She gave me a form to fill out with all my contact & insurance info, took the form back after I was done, and then proceeded to tell me that there was no one available today to inspect my car and give me an estimate. What? It was a weekday, during normal business hours. Where was everybody? I don't know because she offered me no further explanation, except to insist on scheduling me for an appointment on another day. I scheduled the appointment, for the following week, but needless to say, I did not keep it. I was so turned off by my interaction there, I won't ever be returning if I get into another accident. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Where do I even begin with this. In late July, I crashed my car. The front passenger side hit another person as they made an illegal lane change. This was my first accident so obviously, I freaked out. I took my car to Calliber Collison as it was an authorized shop by my insurance and down the street from my boyfriends work- super convenient. They also had good reviews on Yelp so I felt confident in my decision to take my car here. The workers there were very nice and made me feel taken care of. The front passenger side was pretty bad. The fender and bumper were severely dented and bent out of place. My headlight was shattered. Being a body shop, I felt secure in that they would fix the car to pretty much perfect- it was brand new after all. The car needed some new panels put on and paint. Simple for a body shop, right? WRONG. They had my car for two full weeks. I dropped it off on a Monday and picked it up two weeks later on Friday, after a huge issue with getting the proper headlight installed. The first thing my boyfriend and I noticed was that the color did not match at all, it was a completely different/darker shade of pearl white. We already knew we were going to take the car back because of the paint, but after a week of having it the situation became worse. We noticed that most of the bodywork didn't line up, there were huge gaps between the hood and fender and the tail light. The front bumper also looked a little too low. Also, the passenger door did not line up. It looked like it was put on a little too high to wheee the front and back doors did not line up. On top of that, when we would drive on the freeway we heard a rattling. We realized the hood was loose, when you pulled on the hood near the part that sits by the windshield, it would lift up! You could easily pull up on it. I was enraged at the fact my car was in the shop for two full weeks and was not fixed correctly. I called Garrett, the rep I was dealing with, and expressed my angers and frustrations. I then had a rep from my insurance call me to set up a date to drop my car off AGAIN. I went with my boyfriend to drop the car off and was met by the manager, I was not given a name. I was beyond frustrated pulling up the the shop for a second time. I let them know I was disgusted with their job on my car. They are a collision shop that focuses on fixing bodywork and paint, yet the bodywork and paint on my car was incorrect. I showed the manager all the spots I wanted fixed, there were about 5-6 things that needed improvement. After I was finished, he had the audacity to tell me that since I crashed my car I couldn't expect it to be perfect. He tried making excuses for why the car wasn't perfect the first time it left his shop. I told him that my car was brand new, it needed to be perfect or I wasn't taking it home until it was. I left the car there again. They had my car for another 4 days and I went to pick her up. The second time, the work was a lot better. It was more to my expectations. There were ok major gaps and the paint matched perfectly. They had my car for a total of 3 weeks. I work full time and was not given a rental car, having to take my car back in a second time was a huge inconvenience. I was satisfied with the work the second time, but it was beyond ridiculous they even gave me the car the first time with its imperfections and then as a customer having to go over everything and make sure it was up to par. Had they done the work correctly the first time, I would not be on here writing a bad review. Garrett was awesome in assisting me and taking care of my concerns, he was not the one who physically did the work. Any time someone says hey consider taking their car to Caliber Collision, I tell them not to as they seem to have low standards for their quality of work. If you want your car to be fixed correctly the first time, take it to any other shop- DO NOT waste your time taking it here. read more

I chose this repair shop after my car was hit because of the reviews. I was hesitant though because there weren't many picture that's showed repairs similar to my damage. I took a chance and I'm so glad I did! This place was amazing and while I don't want to ever have to go through it again if I needed too I would select this repair shop for sure. My vehicle has a paint color that is discontinued and they matched it 100%. My repair took about a month. Carlos was my agent for the repair and he was in contact with me every single week to update me on the status of my car and how the repair was going. He sent me text messages and left voicemails when I wasn't able to answer. I felt confident that my car was in good hands. Carlos was friendly, helpful and the day of pickup he was professional and didn't rush us to check everything was ok with the car. If I could leave a 1/2 star to make it 4 1/2 stars I would've because the only reason I didn't leave five stars was because the day of pickup there were a few details I feel should've been taken care of before they called to say the car was ready. The details that there was left of spray from the paint, some wax from the replacement of the door handle, the logo wasn't put on my car, a piece of the rocker panel wasn't totally flush, and there was a chip on my rim that wasn't there before. However when these items were pointed out they took my car to the back and got it all fixed up. With the exception of my rim which I'm still working with then to repair. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place I was very happy with the repair my car looks brand new, you can't tell it ever had any damage. These guys are thorough and efficient when it comes to taking care of their customers. Darren Sheppard was my associate and he did a great job fixing my car. I had been in a fender bender where my back bumper was damaged. When I got my car back it looked brand new! I even asked him to replace my front grill (which was separate from the insurance claim) and he was able to do it for a very good price. They vacuumed the inside and even cleaned out the engine carriage of dried leaves and debris. Really happy with the work these guys do and I would be happy to recommend them to my friends. read more

I recently needed work done on my truck due to theft and I was in the beginning stages of working out a claim with my insurance. I work down the street from Caliber Collision Valencia and just happen to be walking past their location on my lunch break. I decided to go in and ask for an estimate to get an idea of what might be needed to fix my truck. I met a gentleman named Garrett who was very cordial and took the time to look at my truck and discuss my options to get it fixed and back to normal. It just so happens they work with my insurance company often and he suggested I share the estimate with my insurance. They said I could take it to Caliber if I preferred and they would allow the claim to be handled there. I was very happy about that because I appreciated the time Garrett took to help me and I felt he was someone I could trust to take care of my truck. I was right it turns out! He could not have been more professional and helpful and really made the entire transaction smooth and easy. I feel lucky he was the one I met that day and that he was able to handle my claim. So lets start from the top. i was referred to this alleged body shop by Audi of Valencia, stating" they do all our bodywork". My vehicle needed a windshield and some minor rock chip repairs in the paint had been approved from farmers insurance and since this is a farmers designated location the repairs should have been easy . that was last week. Friday i get a message stating that i needed to come up there in person and approve the work . I get there on Tuesday , no work has started , no parts ordered...and my 100k audi is sitting under a ripe fruit tree where it had been basking as there scenery for the week ... . i stated my disapproval of the situation . The manager nonchalantly stated," I'll get your keys." problems; 1. had my car for week and did nothing 2. parking outside under fruit trees not cool 3. noticed not all of your cars are secured when you close 4. if you didn't notice any problems with the work , then you shouldn't have taken the claim.. its clearly states the issues on the claim file. and had been communicated verbally by several individuals (i.e. adjuster, audi of valencia service mgr, me , etc) 5. the denial of service based on preference or whatever should in all honesty happen at the beginning of the business transaction , not after i say something that you don't like ...i simply stated that parking my car under a fruit tree doesn't please me 6. if you or your company is not willing to give all people the same respect and service you would want , thats fine .. i simply prefer a sign stating such . I notice a lot of good reviews . All i can say is that this location seems to treat some people a tad bit different . I was treated like a nuisance ; and i doubt it will change ; I doubt no one will care but as a citizen of the human world i'm obligated to atleast say something when people abuse there position in life and treat others less than they would want to be treated.. i hope people read this review and take business elsewhere .. fyi the sap from fruiting trees causes serious damage to vehicle appearance. ps my car wasn't the only one . Dustin was the best. Being a 'car guy' he took my boys car and made it look like new. Great work and when I was missing a little piece on the battery, he ordered it and I installed it. Only because I am a 'car guy' since I was 15 (now 61). We had a 2014 Chrysler 300. Battery in the trunk. My boy was rear ended and pushed into the car in front of him. The damage estimate confirmed the rear damage was worse than the front. They expertly matched the paint and the car looks brand new. If you go here, I recommend Dustin as your guy. Dustin Huff at Caliber Collision Valencia just took care of an issue with the dislodged bumper on my mom's car. I was very concerned it would be expensive but he said come in and we'll take care of you. He was able to push the bumper back into place as a temporary measure but also offered to replace a broken bracket & only charge for the part. When the part arrived he took care of the installation while I waited & because the part only cost them $20 he took care of everything at no cost to us. He provided caring and professional service. He was amazing. We have used the services of Caliber Collision a few times and have always been happy with the level of service & professionalism but Dustin really went above and beyond. And they guarantee their work with a lifetime warranty. What more could one ask for? read more

We had our van fixed there after we were rear ended. They were very easy to work with and made it very easy to get everything taken care of with the insurance and repair. They had our van for about a week and when we got it back everything looked really good. The only thing that I can complain about is that one of the screws that hold in my license plate is now stripped for some reason and the bolt that goes in there does not tighten. I say don't bother. I called to get an appointment for an estimate. No one answered the phone. Called 4 times. Went on line for live chat got moved to3 different people until I said never mind. Drove there in person and was to,d it would be a 2 day wait just to get an estimate! This was for a very simple 10 minute quote. So I persisted and called the Canyon Country shop. They couldn't take me either but said I could use the online quote service. Valencia receptionist didn't even volunteer this information. I say no thanks. If they really are this busy they don't need my business, I think they made that quite clear. And, who knows how long it would take to fit me in. I'd rather have more personalized service by someone who cares. read more

Seriously? Mercedes-Benz of Valencia recommends this shop! First strike Brought the car in. Estimator, Courtney, was looking around the car taking notes. She only has a piece of paper and a pen on her, so she used the hood of my car and trunk of my car as her writing board! The first time she did that on my trunk, I was kind of shocked (that should have been my big fat clue not to leave my car here) and when she did it the second time, I was kind of pissed off, so I took a picture of her doing so. It's not like I was getting my car body done or getting repainted again. You can write or do whatever you want on your car, but don't do it on other people's property. Second strike I told her something that needs to be taken care of at least 3 different times and my adjuster even told them also, so that's a total of 4 times, and yet they still failed to fix it. Yes, I know that they guarantee their work, but it's such a waste of my time to go back and leave the car at the shop again. Why do you think that I told you to fix it so many times??? Somehow I knew that they would screw up. Now I am going to have to bring my car back in and leave it there for a few days when the problem should have been taken care of the first time. Very disappointed in this shop. Just in case you have to go to this shop, just make sure that you get a competent person. Hopefully they get their act together. read more

I don't know if it was these fellows or a third party they took it to for repairs, these guys did an amazing job on my body damage but my shocks and alignment were charged as fixed and everything but was worse than when I dropped it off and I had to have my usual mechanic fix the front end alignment, and less than 100 miles of driving the brand new tire they put on blew. After talking to insurance and caliber staff they may re fix my truck for free and if it is a good repair job I will certainly update this review. Not entirely blaming these guys as it may not be entirely their fault, and they may make up for it in the future, but for now I'd say just stick with your usual mechanic for repairs. read more

After someone who shall remain nameless backed out of our garage and clocked the side-view mirror, I took it to Caliber to be replaced. Caitlin and Gia were super-nice and helpful, and Joshua was as professional as can be. After the car was fixed and returned to us (it was just two hours of work), Joshua called and asked me to bring the car back in, and they would wash it for free. We were so impressed! Unfortunately, a week later, the car was sideswiped, and the same mirror was destroyed again! This time, we wanted to bring it to Caliber, but because they aren't a State Farm preferred shop, it would have added as much as a week before it could be serviced. We would definitely have preferred to bring it back to Caliber if possible. They are top-notch. read more
