The lighting is great, there's plenty of comfortable workspace, and the reading nooks make it feel warm and inviting. The coffee was excellent. I ordered the Maple Tide exactly as it comes, and it was delicious. The latte was not overly sweet and had a really distinct vanilla and maple flavor that tasted balanced and well crafted. I'm already excited to go back and try more of their drinks, especially a straight espresso. The location is also perfect. It's just tucked away enough that you don't have to fight traffic or stress about parking, but still close enough to the main road that it's an easy stop without going out of your way. It's close enough to Emerald Isle to become a regular stop for island locals or anyone heading across the bridge. The owner was incredibly friendly and really adds to the welcoming local atmosphere.
