I bought two cars from them. The first one had its transmission fail after just 6 months. When I went to the dealer, they said they had nothing to do with it. However, my mechanic assured me that it was odd, as the readings showed everything was fine but it should show the part failing as it certainly was. Fortunately, I had gotten the insurance, and after dealing with car rentals and other issues, I got it replaced for another used one, no even a new one, again my mechanic checked, I paid some 300 hundred and I needed a car so I didn't do a big fuzz about it. The second car was a Volvo, and after less than 3 months, another part failed, the catalytic converter. I'm not an expert in cars, but this seemed suspicious. The Volvo technician told me, 'I can't say for sure why this happened, but it's odd that this part was failing and the report you had from the dealership showed otherwise,' which was the same thing the other mechanic told me, 2 ppl said same thing. I had to pay $5k out of pocket because even though I got insurance and they told me it covered everything, the insurance didn't cover that part or anything really,(insurance cost were 3k). I'm taking the time to write this review because sometimes people aren't honest. I couldn't do anything legally, and although I could afford to pay, I'm thinking of those who can't. Sure, they offer good prices, but at what cost? The cost of your car breaking down and having to pay even more? My advice is to take your money somewhere else, even if it's a higher price. read more

I would be super cautious doing business with the owner of Calidad Motors as I just had a run in with him today that showed his lack of integrity. While leaving my daughter's soccer tournament we were waiting to pull out of the parking lot when we were rear ended by a white dodge trx with calidad motor plates on it. After the dealership owner IHAB openly stated that "he wasn't paying attention and was sorry", he proceeded to tell us there was no damage, even though there was minor damage. He refused to give us his insurance information, or any information at all, and instead he tried to pay us off with cash. I told him that it wasn't my vehicle and that cash wasn't an option that I needed his information or I was calling the cops, his what I believe to be wife told us to call the cops then, which I did and we told them we did. He then tried to leave, while the cops were on the way, and luckily a bystander saw and was able to stop them and we had to stand there until the cops did arrive on scene where the cops then were able to get the information that we needed. I can't believe that a business owner would do such a thing, it could have been solved so easily, but to hit someone and then try to leave after admitting fault is absolutely crazy to me, that alone shows the lack of integrity that they have. I would be very cautious with doing any sort of business with a business owned by someone that would do such a thing in something as simple as a small fender bender. read more

I have purchased a Audi from them last August And I already have had over $2000 worth of issues . Within only a few months I had already to had get my suspension fixed which was $1300 and I had to get it fixed TWICE, sensor broken, and now my Ac doesn't work and they are trying to charge me $1400 to get my condenser replaced. The amount of money I put into the car is unbelievable and on top of that they made me put down a $5100 deposit when purchasing the car !! . Typical used-car-salesman tactics.... These guys advertise lower prices on craigslist and other sites, then when you call them about it they say the price changes based on current demand. I emailed them about a car they have listed on several websites. When I contacted them, they wanted a couple thousand more than what they advertised it for. I told him I didn't want to play games and he said this isn't a game, they just adjust prices daily. The car has been on their lot for over 6 months. Funny how once I showed interest, the price magically went up by $2k. I literally said I don't want to play this "stupid game" and he told me to watch my language and that he doesn't want to sell it to me anyway. Good luck dealing with people like this! read more

Do not buy from here. Switched the service contract to one that covered nothing. Mentioned oil leak during test drive and was guaranteed there was no leak. I insisted on buying a service contract therefore once I found the leak, since I knew it was leaking, I could have them fix it. All to find out they switched the contract to one that does not cover seals and gaskets. So much for a full protection. read more

Calidad means quality and certainly this place has low quality. I purchased a car with them, the car had a minor issue with a mirror and they booked an appointment to fix the issue. They told me that the fix was going to be fixed by the same day. However, I picked the car 4 days after in exactly the same condition. They only gave me excuses and vague information about what they did with the car. They not only haven't fixes the issues the car has, but also made me lose a lot of time and money commuting to the dealership multiple times. I strongly recommend to not trust in any after-sale service they offer. I'm disappointed with the deal I made, and definitely I won't do any other business with them. read more

Make sure to get the car checked out before buying. Now I know why they were so aggressive to get a deal done and why they were also willing to drop the selling price noticeably below market value. Car seemed to run fine at first but less than 200 miles later, multiple cylinders misfiring and now I'm out $3k+ to have the head gasket/cylinder/valves rebuilt and replaced. They probably just cleared the CEL before and after the test drive. read more

So I met a guy at work recently that bought a truck through Calidad Motors and also bought a extended warranty, 5 months later had a issue with the transmission going out . Little did I know, so called "my friends" Ray and Ely had been lying to me about the great car they sold it to me. Very satisfied with my '03 330Ci. The guys did not pressure me and I was able to work out a few details to fix a couple of minor issues. The big factor to me was finding just the right car. Mine is a 1 owner manual that is in 9/10 condition. I believe that the owner has a very keen eye and ability to find not just cars in good shape but ones that have been treated well. BEWARE!! Update: we took the car to an actual Dodge dealership and they said that The Whole transmission needs to be replaced. If Calidad Motors did a full inspection as they said they did, they would of been able to tell (coming from the technician) we did go down to calidad to pickup the inspection report as requested and they said that they had it... what they actually gave us were copies of receipts for parts that they changed out... i.e rotors, a dent repair... but where's the inspection? Wouldn't a good dealership have a inspection report? Wouldn't you want the cars that you sell to be decent cars? You know what the manager Miguel had told me? He said we wouldn't be a business if we didn't have bad reviews? seriously ... this place is comical. My fiancée purchased a $40,000 Dodge Charger from these people and within 6 days while on the freeway his car started flipping gears and losing power on the freeway ... i reached out to these people and their manager Miguel says that he blames in on the way the car was being driven ... ummm really?? Having a 40k car for 6 days shouldn't have issues like this .. i asked if he had the car inspected prior to sell and he said yes.. so we took the car to an actual Dodge dealership and the tech says that the whole transmission needs to be replaced as well as the tire sensor and door sensors ... these folks are crooks!! I've heard bad things about this dealership and i told my fiancée not to go there but he fell in love with that car...I've seen numerous complaints and issues with this dealership .. I'm reporting them to the BBB. Pls don't waste your money at this place. Pay attention to the most recent reviews .. we all constantly have had major issues with this place. read more
