I recently lost my oldest sister this year and again they were helpful in resolving my sisters trust including accessing a bank deposit box that wasn't utilized since early 2000. Both Hansen Lee (MtView) and Sanjeev Kumar (SF) were so helpful in assisting this transition of trust and accessing a box to access contents. I literally JUST WANT TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY…read more It used to be you spent 5 minutes filling out forms, then you go to the teller, who needs 5 more minutes of filling out forms and ID and a SECOND signature - because, why not? The world does not have enough bureaucracy !! The deposit slip was now a strange 8x11 piece of paper but I filled it out with most of the information - as always. But when I visited a person at a desk they said, "Go back and scan the barcode and follow the instructions!" So I start down the boondoggle process and find that there is some sort of insanity with regards to an "electronic authentication protocol" and I have to scan a barcode, go to a website, and upload a credit card, TO MAKE A DEPOSIT ?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? YOU NEED MY CREDIT CARD TO ACCEPT MY MONEY? It aint gonna happen. I am through with this horrible bank. I accidentally posteded this to the wrong branch (Milpitas) so they asked YELP to DELETE MY REVIEW when I posted it to the correct branch (Mountain View). They offer NO WAY to speak to a human. Call the branch itself? Good luck with that. The on-line phone number is listed. Call it, and it says, via a recording, "We're busy. Call back." The . . . only . . . solution . . . is . . . drive . . . there. Jamie insists on it. He offers no other way. My 'thought-bubble' expletives have been carefully avoided. I don't want to give offense. They just got 10 more year or lease to ensure long term safekeeping of your stamp, coin, jewelry, watch, trading card, cash & comic And I really love zero documentation for box setup, and no ID entry requirement with make this place more unanimous than other safe deposit box anywhere. The carpets here are alway shampooed. The private room have attached restroom. The place is kept at correct temperature & humidity to ensure all your acid laced paper and cards are not reactive. More critically is the security of this place which is why there a long waitlist here

Most of them are friendly and professional. One, however, is a bit to assertive. She's tall and speaks with what I assume is an African accent. I wouldn't call her rude, but she does tend to make people feel like they have to use the ATM instead of interacting with a teller. While you can get cash at the ATM, you can't always get it in the bill denominations you want, so you need to see a teller. I wish this woman would remember that.

Don't be tempted!
