Unreasonable lady working there asking me quite literally a dozen seemingly pointless questions about my $140 check I received from a credit card company that I had closed my account and they sent me the difference back in the form of a check. Example of one of the questions why do you wait two months to cash the check? Is it still good? She asked. Did they cancel it? Are they open and there is an expiration of six months on the check. This place is fucking horrible! We came to borrow a loan in November and later on they called us while we were already halfway home to San Jose, stating they forgot my husband's driver's license at their facility. They said to come and pick it up with no policy stating they don't hold it for no more than 2 weeks. They should have called us back explaining themselves of the policy instead of making the long trip just to find out they shredded it. Horrible manager and staffing. I will never recommend anyone to borrow a loan from this place. Personally, they could've be more transparent and give information on their policy instead regards to peoples personal belongings. Whenever i used this place its because i had a problem type of check- like its over 30 days old or it isnt in perfect condition and ive been run out of the other check cashing places. Well this place usually will get it cashed. They are not cheap and they are not fast either, but i needed those checks cashed and they did it when others would not. So i recommend. Gave them everything they needed to cash a check and after 30 min they said they couldn't cash it because they didn't have any history on the check? Why would you have history on my company checks? Worst customer service ever, save yourself time and don't come here. If I could give a 0 star I would. This is the worst experience I've had cashing a check. I spent a total of over an hour for them to say they are not cashing my western Union check. How does it make sense that they won't cash a check because "their manager" didn't approve it. The check had funds and it's western Union. Makes no sense. I complied with all of their background questions and was there patiently waiting for no reason. Can you believe they even lost my check mid way through the process and they couldn't locate it yet they have the nerve to deny me. Such BS. Don't ever come here. Straight discrimination. EVERY single time I come here, there's always a line with very little help... Today I went there and saw 1 guy they were helping and no one else! This place is terrible with customer service. I've been going here off and on for a year or two. I've always paid on time or would call in to have them hold my check for the next day in order to pay cash. It's happened twice where they said they'd hold my check...I show up and they've already cashed it. Causing me to have to wait a week until the bank clears it & I'm able to re borrow. I came in one day in December. When I came in, there were two employees and a line. It is difficult to get in and out of this place when the employees take their time with the customers. When I came in, there where 2 employees, each helping a customer. I was in line and two customers came in after me and stood in line behind me. One of the employees (an African American woman) immediately greeted one of the customers but not the other. I wasn't even greeted when I walked in. Next thing I know, that same woman finished up her transaction with a customer and decided to help one of the customers who came in after me. Employee number 2 (a Hispanic woman) ended up helping me. Minutes later, the African American employee then decided to ask me if I needed help. What she should've done was helped me first not pick and choose who she wants to help. I was somewhat mind blown by what just happened. I thought the first and basic rule of customer service was to help the first customer in line first, not pick and choose.
