Maruta Gardner Playgound seemed to be the most entertaining and appropriate for my wild child. Parking was plentiful and the size of this particular playground was great. Not only was the look and design very unique, you really couldn't ask for a better view. Seating was plentiful and again, the design of things were so cool. Shade is easily found and the play structure is great for children + adults of all ages. Lastly, there are restrooms and water fountain located not too far. Shout out to Ms. Maruta Gardner!! My daughter and I thank you because this place wouldn't have been possible without you. Your dedications and love for your community was undeniable. There is a back party room has two tables and fits comfortably around 10 to 12 kids. I especially liked the large glass observation window, which allowed us to watch the kids while they played. Each game lasts about 18 minutes, providing a nice rhythm for the kids to cycle back to the room for snacks and drinks. However, I do have a few suggestions regarding the birthday experience and food policies. First, we were disappointed to learn we couldn't bring our own cake. My daughter was quite let down, as the provided cupcakes didn't feel quite right for a milestone 10th birthday. We were also informed that if we wanted to bring any extra food or treats, they had to be individually wrapped, which is very limiting. Additionally, our host was not very engaging. I really appreciate that they allow you to bring in your own snacks, drinks, and food. That honestly saves us money and makes it easy to hang out for the full three hours without constantly buying concessions. Their concession stand is mostly chips, cookies, candy, and bottled drinks. There isn't really hot or substantial food available, which isn't a big deal, but it's something to keep in mind so you can come prepared. There's ample parking and we've never had to circle or deal with any hassle, which is always a plus when you're unloading kids. The sock policy wasn't a big deal for us. We don't go on the trampolines, just our daughter does. When we showed them we already had grip socks from another place, they only charged us $3 for theirs as a one time purchase. We just wash them and keep them in the car so we're always ready. If adults aren't playing, you can walk around in your normal shoes or socks. My only complaint is the music on Friday evenings. They usually have an emo playlist playing. It's not about the volume, just the type of songs. I'd personally prefer more current top hits or upbeat family friendly music during play time.
