honestly i really really liked this place until my last experience. my cuticles were sore and bleeding for DAYS because the lady cut through my skin. they were way too thin and one snapped almost immediately. she tried to wipe off the blood on my fingers on un-cured polish and got a TON of fuzz on my nails, and then just put a clear coat right on top. It's been days and my fingers are still bleeding, one is infected, and one is broken. and they look awful. she was also on her phone the entire time. read more

Went here because I was in the area and highly regret it. I asked for a dip manicure, and the nail tech started to take off the nails I already had and used an already used file. I had to ask her to use a brand new file and brand new tools... She seemed to be in a rush and worked quickly on my nails. The dip on my fingers were too thick and I left unsatisfied. Unfortunately try this place to get a quick wax on my eyebrows. Never been to it before. I got burnt by the wax and my eyelids are red and bumpy and itchy. Would not recommend for waxing. Hell, I even tried a place in Otay Ranch for a minute there. I dont get my nails done but I love me a good pedicure. The works. Give me the scrubs, the masks, the wax, the massage. ALL OF IT. The nail polish isn't even important to me, it's just an added bonus. I'm going out of town and wanted to get a pedi before. Theres a new place by my house but I asked a friend first to see if she wanted to tag along. She was just here Friday so she passed but not before telling me to come see Kathy. Im always iffy when seeing someone new but what the hell. I called in the am for an evening appointment. Walked in about 10 minutes early and was seated right away. Yall. Kathy is an absolute godsend. She took her time and really worked each product in. She wasn't distracted or chitchatting the whole time either. It wasn't a superficial massage either, she got deeeeeeep and my toes could not be happier. Like I said, I don't really care for polish so I chose a glittery nude. She asked if it was ok to use a pinkish color as a base first and OMG they came out so good. $47 for a deluxe/european/the works (i dont know what they call it here) pedi. And she didnt try to upsell me on gel or designs. And when I paid she thanked me for coming to see her specifically. I will definitely be back! This is my absolute go to nail salon. I've been coming here for just about a year now- I bring all my friends and have converted several- who drive from downtown!! They have a HUGE selection of fun designs- they do both by hand and stamps- which opens the door to any imaginable customization! They also offer waxing and facials so bonus! Good prices- (typical but fair) free fixes- and great communication. After a while they treat you as friends- not just anyone off the street. Unfortunately I was really disappointed in the quality of a dip powder manicure I received here. I got it on a Friday and by the following Wednesday all of the polish chipped off my nails. I didn't do anything more extreme than spend thirty minutes in a pool. I've never had a dip manicure last less than 10 days. read more

In very picky about timing and customer service at nail salons and I think they do a great job. They are quick but not rushing! I was in there to get a pedicure and when i get a pedicure i want to sit and relax after a long day on my feet from work. I usually am not picky about who I get as I've been in there several times because my son gets his hair cut in that same plaza. Well I didn't feel relaxed, she was done in like 25 mins. When I normally go in there I spend about 45 mins in there, even my son comes to get my keys from me because he's usually done before me. But not this time I had to wait for him in the car about 20 minutes. I was rushed out of there, didn't get to relax, and the lady that did my pedicure was rude. I will not be coming back here. My daughter could have painted my toes and did the same work that lady did. Did feel like a pedicure felt like she just shortened my toe nails, took off old polish and re painted them. I even allowed an hour 45 minutes in case of delays. They put me with Cindy. She's a sweetheart, but my nails leave me disappointed. The design is beautiful. The nails are thick and look like I've had them a few weeks instead of the actual one week I've had them. She cut two fingers and they are very sore. I had to go back the next day to have one completed that hadn't been done over the whole nail. She trimmed my cuticles which are now inflamed. So, do I go and ask for a redo with Mary? First and last time for sure. They need to train their employees to stop talking to one another while they have a client in their chair. Had 3 of them surrounding my technician while she's doing my nails and she looks away while filing and starts filling my skin 90% of the time . Which explains why my nails are crooked and different sizes . Very very upset She was sweet but definitely needs to pay more attention because she filed each nail at-least 5 times to the point where the acrylic is now gone and my natural nail is showing . You could have made an appointment weeks in advance and they see you 30-60 minutes after your appointment. They never respect people's time and the owner starts yelling when confronting him. I've tried a number of different acrylic salons in the area, and this spot reigns supreme as getting the best bang for your buck. Fills start at $39, full sets at $44. Disclaimer: I am a perfectionist and therefore request specific people who I feel pay the closest attention to detail and are able to bring any photos I find online to life! The nail tech you are assigned will make or break your experience here. It's a shame many people have came, gotten someone who didn't meet their expectations, and then never returned, because they miss out on the best prices in the city and quality work by other techs. The service here is only consistent if you visit the same tech every time, as they all perform their jobs differently. You gotta put effort into finding who fits your needs best. The shop owner, David, is amazing and his top priority is making sure you like your nails, which I always appreciate. He has overbooked himself a few times though, which has led to wait times even though I had scheduled an appointment prior. He can be very busy, but if you're able to score a service with him, it's worth it. read more

This was my first time ever going there, and it's my new fav nail salon. So I waited to get my nails done for about 15mins cause it was busy, which is fine. (Not complaining about that) I showed a picture to the lady that was doing my nails, and she said "yes I can do that" so of course I got excited. Then when she started my nails, she asked me what shape did I want, how long. Let me tell you that when I say she took her time, she took her time. Used a new file on me, new nail drill file as well, and a new nail Buffer. ( I was absolutely happy about that cause most nail salons don't do that, even my old nail salon as well.) she didn't flood my cuticles, she filed them down pretty good. She wasn't rough. Honestly I kinda started to fall asleep cause that's how nice she was with my hands. The only thing that I didn't like was how one of my finger nails were like bubbly, like the top coat was separating or something. But besides that, everything was amazing!! Everyone there was so nice & friendly. The prices aren't too bad, it's almost about the same that I was paying for before. I highly recommend this place.
