She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect dinner together. Three stars for CPK -- which feels both fair and a little melancholy for a place that once genuinely excited me. The staff has turned over noticeably in a short period of time, which gives the experience a different feel than it once had. Our server Bryan was efficient and easygoing though -- no complaints there. On the food: the new beef skewers with chimichurri were a pleasant surprise. The broccolini had a nice char, most of the beef came out tender, and the onion rings were satisfyingly crispy. A solid addition to the menu. The chicken club egg rolls remain a must-order -- some things thankfully don't change -- and the kung pao chicken spaghetti delivered as expected. The California Colada cocktail is worth ordering. Smooth, well balanced, and more refined than you might expect from a casual chain. A highlight. And then the disappointment: the key lime pie is gone. For those of us who considered it a non-negotiable ending to a CPK meal, this is a real loss. We left without dessert and felt it. CPK in its current form is a reliable, comfortable dinner option -- but it's hard not to measure it against what it once was when it first launched and felt genuinely innovative. Pretty standard CPK corporate ambiance. Ordered the BBQ pizza and the garlic cream fettuccine. The pizza was tasty, though a bit doughy and not very crisp on the bottom compared to other CPK visits. For the fettuccini, the pasta and chicken were cooked perfectly, though it seemed a bit heavy in the garlic. Our server dymond was phenomenal at taking care of us (didn't have to ask for water, boxes, check) while also maintaining her section. read more

Went there with friends who each ordered the most delicious looking pizzas. Since I'm dieting I ordered the burger in a bowl, no cheese, no dressing, extra pickles. We still enjoy going to this CPK at Town Square particularly before seeing a movie at the nearby AMC. They have improved their wait experience and now offer advance waitlist options through their app (their app used to be great and is now horrible overall, though), but they still seem very perplexed when I try to use my Elite rewards benefit to "skip the line" upon arriving at the restaurant. They do seem understaffed at this location, as there is almost always a wait even when you can easily see many vacant tables from the waiting area. Our recent server (a lovely Hawaiian lady - I can't remember her name) was extremely friendly and attentive. We love the avocado club egg rolls as a starter. A bit rich but excellent when well-prepared with a crispy exterior and hot and flavorful interior filling. I highly recommend the platinum margarita which is delicious and strong. On our recent visit we also had the kung pao spaghetti with chicken and the chicken picatta. Both were excellent with the picatta having just the right amount of lemon. CPK has, however, made a grave error by apparently getting rid of the key lime pie which has graced their menu for the entire history of my dining at CPK which easily exceeds two decades. Love coming here for a nice, casual dinner. I really enjoy their pizza, but my favorite dish is the chicken piccata! Their tomato basil soup is also delicious. They have a great variety of tasty cocktails and I have never had an issue with service. I'm not sure when they added the online waitlist for this location but I'm very glad they did! We used to have to wait close by and listen for our name to be called with a long line of parties waiting. Townsquare has a pretty good selection of dining and this is a good one. You can't go wrong. read more

I went with their upside down cheesecake, which was nice and creamy, but also balanced out with a tartness of the berry compote. Out of the desserts this is actually one of my favorites since it fulfilled my sweet tooth craving. I always order through the app although, I wish that their app will get a refresh since sometimes it's hard to find rewards and what's available without going to dig for it. Came in right when they opened, so it was pretty quiet, but the service was great from the start. The food was really good across the board. I had the chicken piccata was fresh, hot, and super tasty. My 12 year old son ordered the carne asada pizza and loved it. The salsa that came with it was a little too spicy for him, not really his thing, but the pizza itself was a win. My 15 year old son got the braised short rib ragu. I snagged a bite and it was excellent, really rich and full of flavor. A bit heavy for me personally, but still very well done. Set up in dining area is typical open seating and dining with a small patio. Overall, great experience and solid food. Would definitely come back. read more

My family and I have always loved eating at California Pizza Kitchen and we visit often because the food is consistently good and the atmosphere is usually enjoyable. Unfortunately, our last few visits to this location have been a bit underwhelming and our most recent experience left us feeling especially disappointed. We went to celebrate my son's birthday and were all excited for a nice dinner. That's not what we got. After walking in, we were seated right away. Our server came over quickly to take our order and brought our drinks back to the table. After that, we never saw her again until it was time for the check. She was also working as the bartender and seemed more focused on cleaning the bar area and handling tasks rather than checking on us. At no point did she come by to make sure our food had arrived correctly or to see if we were enjoying our meals. She did not offer refills and she did not check to see if we needed anything at all. We even had to wave another server down for utensils because she never gave us any, it was awkward and uncomfortable. The food itself was perfect, delicious, hot and fresh. The restaurant is conveniently located in Town Square with plenty of parking. The interior is clean bright and welcoming. The menu has great selections at reasonable prices which is one of the reasons we have always enjoyed coming here. The service we received during this visit didn't match the quality of everything else and that is what made the experience super disappointing. We had planned to order dessert for my son's birthday but since no one checked on us after we finished eating we never had the chance. I truly hope the service improves because we have always loved this restaurant and would like to continue coming back. But for now, I cannot say I would recommend this location based on our last few visits. I hope it can improve and return to being the place we used to really enjoy. read more

I love coming to CPK and will most likely still be going regardless of my rating due to their tasty dishes. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken + Shrimp Pasta and a coke. I loved the server's customer service and the food they served, it was just a lot of delays and waiting. We barely got our drinks refilled (only 1x)--we were there for ~3 hours and we were trying to flag down our server. However, she was nowhere to be found most times and other servers stated they'd let ours know we needed her (she never came still). Our server was sweet and nice, never came to apologize for being absent, but continued to be so sweet when checking in on us. We were torn. Still, our dinning experience was 3 hours because we were waiting for refills on our drinks, waiting for boxes, waiting for the check, and waiting for the returned receipt (since we paid card). The server forgot one of our orders and it was on the bill, so we waited for that to be corrected too. The environment was clean and not busy. We came early evening before the rush. The area we sat at was great for us (we sat in a booth, next the to window with a view). read more

I used to really love this place, but the menu is very small now and not many vegetarian options. The service was really slow and the pizzas and salads are pretty pricey. Solid 4 stars! CPK has many great options beyond pizza. There's something for everyone here. I love that they offer different pizza crust options. My favorite is the cauliflower crust since it's thin and light and slightly healthier than regular dough. They've got catering options, Mac n cheese varieties online, gluten free pizzas, kid menu, and now even a loyalty program! I ordered a ton of pizzas through Grubhub two hours before and it arrived on time for our lunch meeting. This is one of our go-to places since there are salads and desserts to add on. Actual location is at the front of Town Square and we will usually park in front of Container Store or in the parking garage for shade. It is nicely air conditioned on a hot day and don't forget to try the Pacific Thyme drink for a refreshing clean taste! Haven't been to a CPK in forever but actually really enjoyed the experience. They have a pretty great happy hour menu and in a time when everything seems extremely expensive, I was shocked at how inexpensive my tab was for quality cocktails and food. The servers were all super nice at the Town Square location too and even the patrons sitting at the bar were all friendly and conversational which I've had very hard to find here in Vegas. Overall ambiance of the restaurant is a typical look and feel of a CPK, but it was decently busy for a Friday night and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. I forgot to take a picture of my personal BBQ Chicken Pizza and Beer/Soft Drink happy hour special, but what a great deal for $9. Check them out if you're tired of paying strip prices. We decided to stop for lunch after Black Friday shopping and it was the perfect lunch! The lunch specials are such a great deal. Drinks are a little pricy, but big servings. We ordered the Sedona Tortilla soup and Hawaiian pizza, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza and Caesar salad. The lunch specials are $13.99 and there are so many options. You definitely can't go wrong with any of the pizzas, so flavorful and cooked to perfection, but the real winner was the Sedona Tortilla. Highly recommend, the flavor and texture is so delicious. Breakfast at CPK? Apparently so! The siren and diner down the hall had a huge line and I wanted to grab something before boarding call. CPK actually did well for this task. It wasn't insanely busy and they had a breakfast menu that consisted of something other than pizza. I grabbed just a classic dish--eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes. Not a bad spread and at a reasonable price for an airport. It's a chain, but that's about what you can expect at airports. Depending on where you sit, you'll have a good view of the airport environment with aircraft movement. Overall a pretty cool place to have breakfast in. read more

We recently visited California Pizza Kitchen for a convenient meal, and while the food was decent, the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. It happened to be my birthday, and I was looking forward to using my birthday reward for a dessert. However, our server didn't seem very engaged or welcoming. Her tone came across as dismissive, and she seemed a bit frustrated when we asked questions about the menu and rewards. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere at the table. On the positive side, the Garlic Parmesan Fries were delicious, and the Strawberry Salad I ordered was fresh and flavorful. However, I wouldn't recommend the cocktails or lemonades, as they tasted overly sweet and syrupy. The prices also felt a bit high considering the overall experience. We did appreciate being able to redeem our free appetizer through the rewards program, but the response when asking about the birthday dessert was unclear and unhelpful, which was disappointing. I wish the service had matched the quality of the food. Overall, while there were some bright spots with the food, the lack of warmth and attentiveness from our server made the visit less enjoyable. California Pizza Kitchen always hits the spot for a quick lunch bite. Their pizzas and salads are tried and true and I always know I'll leave a happy camper. The service here was extremely fast and diligent and I enjoyed that the ambiance was lively yet still chill. I shared an order of buffalo cauliflower, BBQ Chicken chopped salad, and a BBQ chicken pizza. The Buffalo cauliflower was fried to crispy perfection and tasted so good with the sauce. Everything was going well and we were enjoying the evening. However, the experience became uncomfortable at the end. After we paid our $350 bill, we noticed a sudden change in our server's demeanor. The friendliness seemed to disappear and he looked visibly upset, which made our table feel awkward. It gave us the impression that he might not have been happy with the tip that was left. When I realized this might be the issue, my aunt added another $40, bringing the total tip to $70. Unfortunately, by that point the mood had already shifted and the ending of our dinner felt very uncomfortable. We did bring the situation to a supervisor's attention, but the moment had already left a bad impression. It's unfortunate because the food was good and the evening started out great. For a chain establishment, there really weren't big expectations: food was prepared well, wasn't bad but wasn't great either; the ambience is there, very casual. The menu is large so options are good, but, again, it doesn't really exceed any expectations as far as taste. The one thing that's very commendable is the service. Did a take out order for my family through the app. They had our order on time for pick up! However, the food we ordered was not what we expected. The bbq chicken pizza was good and the best thing we got. The steak salad was definitely not worth the price! There were only a few pieces of steak. The Thai chicken salad also didn't have enough protein in it. I felt like we were ripped off because we barely had any protein in our meals. I also didn't appreciate some of the lettuce. Just moved to Vegas and visited the Outlet mall in town square. Decided to have early dinner at CPK at this location since it looked lively when we walked by. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails, salad and pizza, which were all great. Our server Marie was fantastic! Very attentive, even though it was kind of busy. She had a great smile and made sure we were well taken care of. Late on a Monday evening we visited. The place was still busy and surprising a little slow of the staff. We had a table top of 6. We did have to wait to get a seat too. The room was filled with big over the top art of food photos. The food seemed to take forever, but probably cause we were hungry. Most the table got pizza.
