Their new Chicken Shawarma Wrap is delicious and makes for a satisfying lunch. The service is generally decent, and the staff is friendly, but if you're on a tight lunch break, be prepared for occasional delays. I've had a few visits where the meal stretched beyond my allotted lunch time. That said, the food quality and variety keep me coming back. This was my daughter and I's first visit and we were excited to try their food. We found the menu quite varied, with items ranging from healthy to not so healthy selections, so I opted for the healthy "Protein Crunch Bowl" with salmon, and I also ordered a side of whole grain bread as an accompaniment to increase the fiber. My daughter opted for a lettuce wrapped burger and fries. Here is what we discovered: My daughter's burger was cooked perfectly, and the ranch dressing she ordered appeared to be made fresh, in-house. Unfortunately, the fries were batter-coated and she could not eat them due to the gluten content. She was happy with the meal, however, and learned from her mistake, so she'll order a different side next time. My salad was perfectly sized; in fact, I was unable to eat the entire thing, so I focused on the proteins. I was a bit disappointed in the salmon as it was extremely dry and over cooked. Aside from that misstep, the flavor and freshness of the other ingredients made up for the dry salmon. The bread was AMAZING! Loved the flavor of the whole grains and I meant to ask if it was baked in house or purchased. I'd love to know the brand of bread they use if it's not baked in house, cause it was really good. Our service was quite slow, but it was Friday in Vegas and the place was hopping. Next time we'll pick a weekday to see if service improves. From happy hour we ordered the Cajun fries which seemed never ending as the portion is huge, then the chicken lettuce wraps, and the edamame which are always amazing then I also got a new menu item, burrata cheese + spring greens rigatoni which was really good except after I realized that they forgot to add the two Parmesan crackers as pictured. We went to this location trying to catch happy hour on a friday night, and it was busy! It's going to be tough to catch a happy hour on a weekend and try to fit 7 people. Service: we waited about 30 mins for our table, they sat us in the bartop which was more than fine. They were busy so our drinks and food took some time. One of our buddies food was left behind, when we asked about his food, they followed up promptly and got his food right away. Ambiance: the place looks like a cabin inside the indoor area. Plenty of space for a lot of people. Theres outdoor seating which is covered and where a lot of people like to bring their dogs which this place is VERY pet friendly. food: i got the deal for $15 a entree and a dessert. Extra scoop of ice cream is $4 bucks for a bread budding. I did not like the bread pudding so i wont look forward to that next time. The vanilla cream was WAY better. First negative experience at a Lazy Dog. The food was edible, overpriced. 15 cheese curds for what- $12? The "crunchy" healthy bowl (or whatever it was called) was only "crunchy" because of the overbaked chickpeas. (I would know they are overbaked because I have screwed up baking them before). The waitress was the kindest but the kitchen staff were slow and the manager + cooks don't know what "medium well" is; the manager claims a burger that looks medium rare is their version of "medium well." It shouldn't take 30 min to cook a burger, period. 70% of the patio seats were filled and only about half of the interior seats were filled. It seemed "regular busy" for lunch time. Regardless, 30 minutes is a long time to wait for cold fries and a medium rare burger. The manager kept interrupting me while I was trying to inform her it took 30 min to receive the medium rare burger and we would like to ask for the replacement to be boxed to go, especially if it takes another 30 min. She just talked over me, not giving the time and courtesy of allowing me (the customer) to request anything. Again - the waitress was kind and did her job. I blame the kitchen staff and the manager for our negative experience. I didn't get the manager's name, as she did not introduce herself. She seemed to have only one motive to speak to us: to defend the way the burger was cooked and to move on to the next customer. Ultimately another manager came out to bring the cooked burger and was very polite and offered $10 off coupons for our next visit. read more

Lazy Dog's happy hour was such a great find! We ended up here because the first place was packed, but honestly, next time this is where I'm coming first. Everything we ordered was really good- perfectly cooked with nice flavors. We tried almost everything on the happy hour menu, and that was the best decision we could've made. The cheese + garlic house bread (you can tell it's house‑made, uff), the Korean fried chicken bao buns (first time trying them and wow, they're good!), Brussels sprouts, the inside‑out quesadillas (both chicken and carne asada), onion rings, crispy deviled eggs (to die for- never had them before), and buffalo wings. This is a casual restaurant place to go to. We went on a Sunday. They were busy. A lot of patron eats here on a brunch time Sunday. They have a separate menu for brunch. They have drink special for brunch including discounted mimosas. You have to ask for the separate menu for brunch if you like. The hostess was very accommodating. We reserved for for six people but 3 of our friends decided to come to the last minute. The hostess accommodated us and seated us on the same table. One of my friends were vegetarian. She mentioned that there is not much options for her but they have a few salad choices and french fries and I am pretty sure you can ask for accommodation. My husband ordered a burger and fries. Their fries were seasoned crispy. I ordered the bimbimbap. It was quite good and mildly spicy. I would recommend this restaurant on a Sunday brunch especially if you gave a huge group. I rarely leave negative reviews, especially because I work in the service industry myself, but this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had. When we arrived, there was no host at the stand. After being seated, our server gave us a rushed, unfriendly greeting and took our order without writing anything down. From that point on, things only got worse. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet our food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Because the kitchen is open, I could actually see our ticket sitting in the red for a long time. My boyfriend's lemon chicken sat in the window for at least 15 minutes before the rest of our food was brought out. To make matters worse, I ordered chicken tortilla soup and was initially brought tomato soup instead, even after the server had come back to clarify which soup I wanted. When the correct soup finally arrived, it was cold. Our server never checked on us, so we had to track him down through a busser. When I told him the soup was cold, there was no apology, no concern, just an "oh." The soup came back reheated, but it was somehow worse. The tortilla strips had turned into mush, the consistency was watery, and it honestly tasted like it had been diluted and microwaved. It was still barely warm. Again, nobody checked back afterward. My boyfriend's mashed potatoes were also dry and unappetizing, but at that point we were already beyond disappointed. What bothered me most wasn't even the mistakes. Mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of service, communication, and accountability. No check-ins, no urgency, no apology, and an attitude that made it seem like we were inconveniencing the server by pointing out obvious issues. I almost never complain when dining out because I know how difficult restaurant work can be. But this experience was error after error after error, and the lack of basic hospitality made it even worse. Unfortunately, it was my first time and I won't be returning. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in after he got off work to celebrate passing a test. We ordered an appetizer to start and the fireside favorite for ourselves. The service from Emma and Nick was top notch sitting at the bar. The hot honey feta dip came out hot and sizzling and might be my new favorite appetizer. Walked in on a Saturday morning right before 11am and was seated right away. It started to get a bit busier at lunch time creeped toward us. The outside is cutely decorated with the dog motif I like so much. I like Lazy Dog. The menu is fun, with plenty of options, but not so many that you get too overwhelmed. The portion sizes are perfect for the pricing. The quality of the food is pretty darn good as well. The restaurant is large, with a seating area outside where you are encouraged to bring your dog. This place is pretty darn clean, including the bathrooms. You can see into the kitchen and see the cleanliness as well. Service was pretty good. There are a lot of servers and runners and they all seemed pretty happy with their jobs, smiling and engaging with each other and the guests. I'd definitely come back in when in the area. read more

My yorkie is a happy puppy every time we treat her out here for brunch. The patio is dog friendly with shade and well maintained. The location is right under the airplanes about to land so it gets loud which is the only negative. Waiters are always so friendly and nice and say hi to our pup. It was pretty busy for a Sunday at 4:00pm, but I'm assuming it was because tourist go to Town Square before heading to the airport. I try to give the staff grace when it is busy, but we had issues from the start. The woman who sat us said they were out of high chairs when ee requested two. Looking around the restaurant, only two other tables had high chairs (so according to her, the restaurant only had two high chairs.) However, we hunted down two high chairs from another staff member for the two babies in our party. Absolutely unacceptable. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, and when we did, one of our plates had a hair and some of our dishes were lukewarm. The waitress was quick about replacing the plate that had the hair and we didn't bother complaining about the temperature of our food, fearing we would have to wait a long time for replacements. I do have to give points to our waitress who did get the kids food out very quickly, know that when babies are hungry, they need to eat NOW. Overall, it was a sub par experience. As a local, I would rather go to the location on Stephanie Street in Henderson. Our waitress was wonderful and warm and she was doing her best. We did tip her well. read more

We made a reservation but there was no problem getting a table on the patio at 6:30 on a Thursday night. For dinner we shared a three part small plate sampler ($24) and the seared ahi tuna salad($22). Too much food for the three of us to finish. The ahi tuna salad and the Brussel sprouts were my favorites. Patio dining can get a bit noisy when a plane landing at Reid Airport is coming in (a not infrequent event). We had such a great time at Lazy Dog! It was our first time as a family coming to this restaurant, as we celebrated a birthday. We tried a variety of food: med chicken bowl, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, Cesar salad, pot roast, Cuban sandwich, cheeseburger, and from the Puppy menu the chicken breast with brown rice and veggies. We enjoyed our meals and the awesome service from our server Diane. She kept the mood light and fun, making sure to check on us and helping with extra things we needed for our meals. It is located outside of the town square shopping areas..very easy parking. We entered with a reservation, but there were plenty of seats. Inside was very nice and inviting and they played some really good music. We both decided on a beer..they ran about 8 dollars and they were very cold and delicious. The waitress asked if it was our first time, and we let her know it was. She brought us a complimentary potato chip appetizer...and it was really good. I ordered the lemon grilled chicken with cauliflower mash and green beans..and it was outstanding.
