We have driven past this place a million times. Finally went in for happy hour. Happy hour was good. Buy one get one on wine , beer, and wells. They have a huge happy hour food menu as well. Food was decent. Regular bar food. Service was good. I would return.

I let the boyfriend pick a place for casual dinner tonight and was honestly not looking forward to going to a bar. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Growing up in Vegas I've seen Steiners everywhere and never thought to go in. We went on a Saturday night and pre season NFL and MLB were on and the place had lots of TVs everywhere. I was surprised at the service and how friendly everyone was. The food was good. Typical bar food but a large menu! We ordered the fish and chips, wings, and the giant pretzel and has several rounds of drinks. We even spent about an hour at the bar playing video poker and drinking comped drinks. We will definitely be back to watch some games and have some yummy food!

My vegan bestie hyped the fries here and she was not lying. I dig the crispy zesty fresh out the fryer taste totally worth the stop. The brownie though... Hard pass bro. Next time I will pulling up for the Impossible burger.

They have my favorite patty melt and Ruben in all of Las Vegas. Big, cooked perfect, and a little messy. I like that they have a large bar area with plenty of video poker machines. It can get busy in the bar area and there's been a few times we weren't able to sit up there but that tells me they are running a good business. The bartenders and servers have always been friendly and quick to bring you a drink and take your food order. I have a players card here and as long as you keep it in the machine every hour there's a random giveaway. On this last visit I won an additional five dollars in FreePlay. Not a bad little perk. Every time I'm in town Steiners is a must.

My wife and I stopped in at Steiner's - A Nevada Style Pub last night (Saturday 8/9/25) for dinner after seeing it reviewed by a local YouTuber. Spoiler alert: the YouTuber was right. She went for the Mojave Quesadillas and I had the Fish & Chips--both meals were excellent. Even the cole slaw was so good it made me wonder if they have a secret coleslaw wizard in the back. We split a dessert whose name I can't quite remember--something like Hot Toffee Cake with Drizzle and Vanilla Ice Cream. Whatever it was called, my wife says she's coming back just for that dessert. I'm not sure if I should be worried or just start budgeting for dessert-only dates. The staff was friendly and the menu was full of fun touches--many dishes named after obscure Nevada towns (nothing like a little state geography lesson with your meal). Loved the decor--felt like a proper Nevada pub with character in every corner. After dinner, we played a little keno at the bar and won back most of what we spent on dinner. That's always a plus. Too bad this place isn't closer to us--if it were, they'd probably know our orders by heart in a month.

We were looking for a chill spot to unwind for the night, and this bar caught our attention -- mostly because it was near our hotel, but honestly, it ended up being a great pick! Right when you walk in, you feel it: classic, slightly moody atmosphere, like something from an old American film. Super intimate and authentic -- not one of those trendy overdone places. We had a couple of beers and an order of wings. Heads up: we asked for no spice, but they still brought the heat Had to clean the sauce off with napkins before diving in. Would've loved a milder version with the same flavor. Aside from that, it was a great night. The place was full of character, and the staff were friendly. A cool little detour on our trip. RECOMMENDED (My personal review)

Pros: Service Cons: Food is usually good but can be off, same with drinks Details: This is one of those places we drive by a lot and think about going to but don't often. Service has always been good even when we have gone when they are bbusy. Food is usually good but as I said above there have been a couple times where something was a little off. Same story with drinks. Plenty of parking though. Inside it's got a pub/sports bar feel to it and a little dark, but that's OK.

    Nachos!

    Are you a Steeler Bar?

How late do you serve food?

They are open 24/7/365. Food is always available. However, not all food items are available all day.

What are the vegan options? It's listed as having them on yelp but when I check the menu all I can find is the Mediterranean salad (if I ask them to hold the cheese)...

    I don't see any.

Is there a nonsmoking restaurant or is it all bar?

Hello-Smoking is allowed in Steiner's-A Nevada Style Pub, however we do limit it to the bar area only. We have excellent HVAC airflow and utilize United Air Services Smokeaters to purify and filter the air above the bar as well. We are one room, but…

We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
