Do want good food served with southern style? Look no further than this restaurant with great service and food to match! You are greeted with a smile and hello, and given a menu with combos of tongue lovingly ' gut bustin' fare. The everything biscuit is home biscuit made with everything seasoning. The pitmaster scramble is packed with taste and is hearty! If you're hungry after that, you have a hollow leg. The French toast casserole is loaded with blueberries and a fiery hotlink. I had the peach apricot ginger beer that is refreshing with a tasty ginger bite. Also it's made right there! My advice, go have some "Slap yo' mama good" food with southern style service, music filling the air with good cookin', and decor that reminds you of an old timer diner. Then, grab a ginger beer bottle to drink at home, then bring it back for a $1.00 refund! Thanks again!

I love Mama Bird! It is a little bit far from my home so we don't go often. The foods here are worth to drive. The foods are healthy and fresh. I usually come here for breakfast. It was my first time for dinner. I tried Chopped Brisket Salad. It was very good. It looked small but I couldn't finish it. I definitely order it again. Burger and fries were good too. I like candy jalapeño. I love watermelon strawberry lemonade. I always order it when I eat here. Our server was good. The restaurant is nice and clean.

This. This right here, is everything. The butterscotch pudding is to die for.

Sometimes you just want really good Southern comfort food. I was really craving that, and wanted to try some place I hadn't been before. That's when I stumbled across Mama bird. This place is located in a shopping center, you really can't miss it unless you tried, they have great signage out front so it's pretty hard to miss. Inside, the place has great vibes. They do a great job of combining a semi rustic feel with a neat and contemporary eating establishment. I'm not saying this is like Cracker Barrel at all, but I am saying that they've got some barrels lining the top over the bar. Which is pretty awesome, especially when you see all of the bourbon beneath. I was really in the mood for some brisket, but I also wanted a salad. Fortunately for me, they had a chopped brisket salad that sounded amazing. I ordered that with the biscuit.. because, hey, if you're going Southern you got to have a biscuit. The salad came out in this small colander. The presentation was really awesome, but I was a little worried that that salad was not going to be enough to fill me up. Well let me tell you, they pack a ton of solid in that colander! Is instead of just throwing a handful on top, they spread it out throughout the entire salad. It was perfectly dressed, and had these amazing candied jalapenos. Next time I go I'm going to order more of those, they are so worth it! Of course, if you're looking for Southern comfort food, you absolutely have to have dessert. I opted for the butterscotch pudding. Let me tell you something, this is not your ordinary Jello butterscotch pudding. The stuff is made fresh, and it's made with knob Creek bourbon. Yes, you heard me right. This is definitely a boozy pudding. The only thing I wish it had, was a shot of knob Creek on the side. Maybe if management reads this they can make that suggestion to the bar. Anyway, that pudding was absolutely amazing! I seriously could have eaten two or three of those. All in all I was extremely pleased with Mama bird. This place has it all and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying it all in the very near future. Bottom line? There are a lot of good choices for southern food in the Las Vegas area. I can say I've eaten it every one of them, but for right now monow bird is in my top five of best Southern cooking establishments that I've been to. You really need to go try this one!

Stopped by Mama Bird while visiting family in Las Vegas and wow--this place delivered. I went with the chicken fingers (had to try something simple), and they were outstanding. Super crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly not your average tenders. Big shoutout to our server, Agata--she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that really stands out. Great food, great service, and a spot I'd definitely come back to next time I'm in Vegas. Highly recommend.

First of all let's talk about Gio! This guy is an amazing server who continued to go above and beyond for us. And can we hear it for Chef?! More to come... When we travel to Vegas, we don't venture off the strip because we fly in. So when we had the opportunity from our road trip to explore outside and try some of the amazing restaurants we decided to try this place out. We called ahead to see if there was outside seating and that it was dog friendly. We were happy to hear that it was! Drinks- Watermelon Lemonade is chef's kiss! Everything is freshly juiced and made in-house. 10/10 recommend l. Starters- We started with the deviled eggs and they were delicious. The candied jalapeños were a great touch to balance out the savory. I'm normally a weakling when it comes to jalapeños, but the candied version was subtle. Get the 3 if sharing with someone so you don't overload ahead of the generous entrees. Entrees- We opted for the two piece fried chicken thighs with mac & cheese and jalapeño cornbread. The fried chicken was delicious. They brine the chicken for three days and it tasted tender and flavor packed! I don't like mac & cheese and it is never my first choice or my second choice, but whatever sorcery is in this mac & cheese I must know. It was delicious and not heavy on the cheddar taste - subtle and slightly rich. Loved that the pasta was al dente. Now here's where our boy Gio comes in. We came here to try the fried chicken AND the brisket. However, we learned that the brisket cannot be sold under a pound. They only charge by the pound. Knowing that we had a hearty entree coming with the chicken thighs, we knew we would not be able to eat a pound of brisket in addition. So we tried to get creative and say we'll just order the grilled cheese put the brisket on the side LOL. Gio went above and beyond and spoke with the Chef so that we could try the brisket on its own. So shout out to Gio and Chef for making that accommodation for us. But the customer service didn't stop there. Gio brought out some water for our pup and the Chef even gave her a small burnt end, which, of course, she was thrilled about. We really appreciated the hospitality that was shown to all of us, including our pup, and for the extra mile that they went. As far as dog friendly goes, I think the above speaks for itself. There are two large tables outside of the restaurant which they consider their patio. Feel free to bring your pup and enjoy amazing food and fantastic service.

I got a bunch of spots saved on my yelp and honestly I never get around to all of em but I finally made it out to Mama Bird. After taking my wife to take pics at the welcome to Vegas sign and 7 magic mountains. I ended up getting the pit master. I was l stuck for a min trying to decide what to get, everything sounded good, but im pretty sure you cant really go wrong here Food came out lookin fire and tasted even better. the meats were juicy and had hella flavor. also dont be scared of the jalapeños. they are more sweet than spicy so they actually go real good with everything place had a good vibe, nothing crazy just chill and solid food.

Wow! We woke up this morning and said that let's have some southern food. We Mama Birds and the food and the service was amazing. Agata is a total sweetheart. She introduced herself, introduced us to the menu along with making some recommendation. We ordered chicken waffle, pork scrambled, and the biscuits and gravy. Of course, i must have a sweet tea. At the end of breakfast, our nine-year-old complaint was she's so sick because the food was so good and she ate way too much. Agata made the experience that much better. She is soft spoken and checks on us here and there. :) We included some photos. Sorry. We started eating and took photos after a few bites. The food is delicious!

Extremely delicious. Been flirting with coming here for years, last meal of the year out was here with friends (who'd also never been and were excited to come) and it didn't disappoint! The doors super heavy but a nice guy headed the same way rushed over to open it and that set the tone. Our friends were seated, we joined them and Crystal quickly came over and introduced herself. Our friends used to be in the restaurant business so through their questions I learned that so much of what's served is made in house. I was shocked to learn the ginger beer was house made. My kinda place! I did apricot peach. So delicious. We came during happy hour so we did the pickles n green beans w dill ranch and deviled eggs for the table. The pickles n beans were my favorite. The egg didn't do it for me. 3/4 of us ordered the brisket and rib combo. 1 just did all brisket. The meat was SO tender. I love the bark on the ribs and the brisket was fall apart tender w a similar bark on the edges. I did cheddar grits. Fantastic flavor. There were hints of onion in there too. Woman did the greens. I loved those too. Our friends did slaw and mac, which they also said was delicious. Woman's ribs were overcooked in comparison to the other two of us. I wish she'd gotten another piece but she gave it to our friends. The water was meh so I switched to sparkling. The biscuit was also not a fave. It's called an everything biscuit. I thought it was going to be a honey butter one. No one was particularly crazy about it but the cornbread had jalapeños so that was out. The menu is small yet vast and impressive. I had curiosity around the watermelon soft serve but was told they were out. The parkings always chaotic around here but it's worth braving. They also own Hola - which I went to but don't remember the food, and rise and shine where I guess they wear pajamas which is cool. Service was solid. I ran out of sparkling at one point, but my glass didn't sit empty too long before Crystal brought me a fresh one. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, kind and patient. I'll absolutely be back. I want to try the pulled pork and their catfish. The place is cute, just be prepared for country music. Thanks for a great meal and experience. Cat man's LOVING the ribs and the briskets so tender he's enjoying that too (and he barely eats beef when served as cat food. Let alone human food!)

What a great little spot to drive to and enjoy a little breakfast with the family! We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant and sat right away. I was sort of surprised by this since it was a Saturday during what I would assume is the breakfast rush. We had a starter of fried pickles and those were just perfect. I've never had them a thin slice like that before but they we're truly like pickle fries!! My boyfriend was ecstatic to try the bloody Marys with bourbon. Definitely more up his alley than mine but he must have loved them as he had two! I tried to piece of the bacon that was in the bloody Mary but the bourbon flavor was very strong for me. Grits were AMAZING! I ordered grits and pork belly, to me the grits were the standout of the meal. Just need a little bit of salt on top but that's just my personal preference, and they had cheese in there. Just amazing!! And I know the chicken fried steak with gravy was amazing because I didn't even get a bite of it. He ate it right up! Guess that means we'll be going back to try more!

Thanks to Google restaurants near me search for this find. When we travel, we like to find local favorites and Momma Birds has to be one of them. Everything was fantastic from the greetings to the food. Our waitress Agatha was a delight to speak with and she explained their menu to us and informed us about their in house home made items such as Watermelon ice teas to their slow roasted brisket, to their house fresh made ranch. Agata introduced their bar products to us and shared that they are a Burbon specialty bar and that ties into them being a Sothern kitchen. We went with happy hour food items so that we could eat a little variety of items like the 50-50 fried green beans and pickles, the buffalo tater tots with shredded brisket, and the fried chicken sliders. Their dill homemade ranch was deliciously amazing that I had to spoon it onto my chicken sliders and the Buffalo tots, I was expecting them to be dripping in Buffalo sauce but surprisingly, they weren't and that brisket that topped those bad boys was so tasty. For my drink, I went with a sweet tea that was very tasty it was what real southern sweet tea is all about. They are open for breakfast, lunch and supper so if happen to be in the area or in a drivable area, take the drive and have a bite and enjoy the lovely decor while you enjoy a great meal and tell Agata Christina and Ron said Hi.

Came here a few times with family. The fried green beans are really tasty and I always get those when I come here! One of my favorites on the menu. The appetizer eggs were okay. They could've had a little more flavor, but the presentation was amazing. And the shrimp and grits are mmm good. My family gets the bbq dishes and said they are delicious too. Great service as well. Highly recommended if in the Henderson area and in the mood for some bbq, southern inspired food.

IG worthy, but impossible to eat (and not that tasty)

Happened upon this place while RV shopping since it seemed to have a menu that everyone liked. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. Everyone that works there is awesome and extremely friendly and helpful. The staff bumped them up a star. The food is where we had the issue. Maybe it was an off day because I know they have amazing reviews. I ordered a small shrimp and grits and the first one came out without the shrimp. Very apologetic staff and quickly corrected the issue. The grits were unfortunately pasty (which is why I rarely order them, but this seemed like an authentic Southern kitchen) and the shrimp were itty bitty. Think salad shrimp tiny. Both my husband and father ordered the pulled pork sandwich and said it was okay, but both wished they were warned it was spicy beforehand. My brother ordered that ridiculous mac and cheese fried chicken waffle. It was impossible to eat as you couldn't pick it up and if you cut into it, everything fell out. The waffle was way too sweet and the mac and cheese was only okay. The best thing on the table was my nephew's chicken fingers. Just sayin'

Food: 2/5 (non-beef options) Service: 2/5 (likely a one-off issue) Drinks: 4.5/5 Bathroom: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I debated whether to leave a review since my partner already posted one, but I ultimately decided to share my perspective as someone who does not eat beef. I recognize this is primarily a brisket-focused restaurant, so I am not their target customer, but most groups include at least one person with dietary limitations. It felt worth mentioning. Our biggest issue was a miscommunication among the staff about who was supposed to serve our table. This became a problem because we were hoping for a quick and memorable last stop on our Vegas trip. The team apologized repeatedly once the mistake was realized, and the service improved after that, but the initial confusion did set things back. As for the food, I enjoyed the deviled eggs since the candied jalapeño was a fun touch. The firecracker shrimp had a nice flavor, although it was slightly overcooked and fell apart easily. The chicken sliders were extremely salty and hard to enjoy. I did not try the brisket, but I did hear from others that it was good. We were also given a watermelon lemonade with a slice of fresh watermelon, which was both visually cool and pretty tasty. Overall, I think this could be a great spot for a future visit or for a different group, especially for those who can enjoy the brisket. The space itself is beautifully decorated and has a great feel to it.

How busy are they on weekends?

What kind of oil is used for deep frying the chicken? (I only ask because I get upset stomach with certain oils like soy bean oil). Thank you!

Hello Erik, Unfortunately, we do use soy bean oil to fry our chicken.

Is the other location (near Summerlin) now closed?

Unfortunately, yes that location is now closed.

generally reservations are always a good idea - but normally they are not needed -

What's the difference between north and south fries?

North fries= crinkle fries, just regular fries South fries = sweet potato fries

When are you opening the southwest location?

I asked last time I was at the restaurant and was told aug/sept for the opening of the sw location. Right now it's still completely gutted inside there. So it's not open at all.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Both were very good and the sandwich came with slightly spicy tots. It was the perfect amount of food and the bar seating was comfortable. We've been here a few times but haven't been back in too many years. That'll change now and we'll be back sooner. Glad to see that this place is still here since so many other restaurants we visited once are now gone.

It is a Wed night at 8:30pm and it had several tables full but we were still able to be seated right away. The place is hard to find so heads up! Look up pictures of the outside so you don't walk past it! It's a beautiful, cozy spot with an upscale feel and vibe. The playlist is amazing! Whomever curated this has incredible & varied music taste and it all works together! 90's R&B, Alternative, Grunge Rock, all of it so good! The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
