Most places have skimpy salad bars but not at Jason's Deli. There is an awesome selection of toppings & dressings choices. The workers are super attentive & patient. Orders are always accurate. The restaurant is spacious, casual & perfect for a laid back family meal or meetup with friends or a date. The food?!? Not skimpy at all. Their Famous Faves sandwiches are piled high. Pasta is always filling, soups are piping hot & fresh. When all else fails bc I cannot decide what I want, I opt for their baked potato and the salad bar. Their desserts are just as good but I never have enough room. Plus there is a soft serve machine to finish off your meal. I will say I tried their strawberry shortcake. We've been here several times over the past couple weeks, because the Promos for members have been excellent. Saturday's promo was a free Club sandwich with any purchase, so I got the strawberry shortcake, which is my favorite here! There are twn different desserts here. Hubby got one too, and he opted for the cheesecake. Also, there was a free dessert for Father's Day. Free ice cream with any purchase, so stringbean got chocolate ice cream in a cone. I have always loved the Jason's salad bar. This was my first time visiting the Arroyo Crossing location. The store is clean. The service is quite fast, even at lunch time, and the salad bar was replenished twice during my visit. The price is very reasonable considering the offerings and that it is unlimited. As for the deli sandwiches. The portions are good (not as plentiful as the pictures). I've tried a few but I think I'll stick to the salad bar and their desserts. read more

I havent been to a Jason's deli in probably 15 years. Walking in we were greeted with a smile. The nice gentleman helped us decide what to order. I got the french onion grilled cheese with a side of pasta salad. My daughter got chicken tenders. The grilled cheese was AMAZING I loved it! My daughter wasnt to fond of the chicken tenders. The breading was weird to her. My husband and friend throughly enjoyed their sandwiches. My favorite part of the meal was the free ice cream! It was SOOO good. My favorite kind of soft serve. Arrived to grab my pick up order and was immediately greeted upon entering restaurant. My order was complete and ready to go. Everything was hot and appeared fresh and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a really good pesto sandwich that came with a side of chips and a pickle. I also ordered a cup of gumbo and rice, but unfortunately, I didn't get the rice. It was a minor oversight that I'll inform them of on my next visit. As I mentioned, the customer service is great so I believe that they wouldn't have a problem rectifying that minor situation. As for the gumbo it was decent. It didn't remind me of the amazing, flavorful, authentic creole style gumbo that mom and grandma used to made, but again it was a pretty decent gumbo. The cheesy truffle pasta was ok. The star of the meal was the cheese toast, tomato soup combo. Jason, we usually LOVE going to your Deli but man things have changed. My family and I walked in and as we approached the counter I said "Hello" to the girl working around 6 pm. Eye contact was made, no greeting upon walking in, and when I initiated a greeting there was no response. Not a hello back, just crickets..... I ordered my favorite sandwich I usually get here called the Yankee. It has warm corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and toasted marbled rye bread. My husband ordered a Smokey Jack Panini which includes smoked turkey breast and bacon, jalapeño pepper jack for a spicy kick, guacamole, Roma tomatoes, and Thousand Island dressing. Our kiddos had their usual pepperoni pizza kids meal which they enjoyed. The sandwiches overall were okay, we have had better here though. We enjoy getting the complimentary soft serve after dinner with vanilla and chocolate swirl. But this time we couldn't help notice the garbage including a mint that was in someone's mouth, sticky mystery items, and the trash can leaning right next to the soft serve machine. We could not help but notice the sticky areas, garbage strung about, pieces of food everywhere, and the soda machine that had flat soda. It was not a good feeling to have while eating and being surrounded by all of this. There were plenty of employees, but they were not interested in cleaning or speaking to customers. I asked for a to-go box because it felt so gross in there. When I was given the box, the young man didn't seem too happy that I asked while him and his co-workers were chatting. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a secret diner come visit to see what is happening. Maybe the manager cares? With not many salad bar options left in town, we are thankful to have Jason's closeby. We came here for dinner and ordered the half sandwich and salad bar. I built a half sandwich on French bread with ham and swiss. You can get it toasted and it came out crunchy delicious. They bring the made to order food to your table as you enjoy your salad. I'm a fan of the honey mustard dressing and corn bread. I had a salad(ish) with bacon bits, sunflower seeds, shredded cheese, mushrooms and some green items. The staff was very helpful and friendly and remarkably quick to clean up the salad bar spills my clumsy hands had caused. We got ice cream next door at Handel's but there is a soft serve machine at Jason's included with the salad bar. Our meals added up to around $30 and the salad alone would have been enough to fill my stomach! read more

Then our order took forever to make as the only guy making sandwiches had no idea what he was doing and interrupted making our stuff to go tend to his car alarm. The mini muffins are tasty, and the 3 Seed with Sea Salt crackers are a must-have. The California Club is piled high and looks like the actual picture, which doesn't always happen in establishments with food pictures and the actual food you get. We were looking forward to a nice lunch break and unfortunately didn't really get that. When we ordered we stood at the register with no acknowledgement even though someone was there...awkward. Once she greeted us, she was perfectly nice but after we paid....we were left on our own. We didn't get a bowl for the purchased salad bar- no biggie, I asked for 1. Then we never got drink cups...one employee told me we should have gotten them when we paid and the girl who rang us up was walking by and said nothing so I went to the front and someone gave us the cups. They were out of the pasta salad that is meatless and never replaced it. We also never got a number so when we saw our tray ready to go my husband got up to get it. The employee standing by the food was asking where it went...my Husband walks to get it and the employee that didn't give us anything (number/ cups)rolled her eyes and said I got it! ‍‍ dirty tables stayed dirty the entire time and the floors were very dirty with staff just chatting it up. The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Panini and the Baked Potato were both great and the ice cream was the perfect little dessert but the tuna was not it. Such good quality ingredients, fresh bread and I ordered a side of fresh fruit with their yogurt dip! Yum! The sandwich was a little too big which is a good problem to have! Jason's Deli has consistently delivered a good product at fair prices partnered with an attentive service. Long story short, they are reliable. (I'm there about two to three times a month.). I know I can always go and get a combination of a soup, salad, or sandwich depending on what I'm feeling. The sandwiches are hearty (although sometimes there is a little bit of a variance between the portion size depending on who's making it), and easily customizable. The salad bar is actually pretty awesome. My main complaint is that they have hummus and Once upon a Time they had pita bread to enjoy it with. Sometime ago they got rid of it and it's just not quite the same. But as far as complaints, that's not bad. The vegetables are consistently fresh, they have lots of options, and some good pasta and protein mixes to boot. I honestly can't speak about the soups because I always go for a sandwich and salad combo. The prices are very reasonable. My partner and I go and usually get a manager's special and we leave there pretty full. While it's not anything special, it's a reliable option that I'm glad is close to my house that has a good amount of options. Went to Jason's today for a salad, which is what we usually eat. We hadn't been there since December. OMG, it was filthy. Went to get our plates for the salad, and the young man was attempting to put on gloves, but just got 2 plates with his bare hands and put on our tray. The tray was so filthy you could actually feel the crud on the sides, and had Not been wiped or cleaned, There were rings from previous uses on it. The salad bar is another story. Dirty, almost empty, I ended up having a lettuce and mushroom salad, because the rest of the food did not look good or edible. No beets, eggs, onions, I mean gross!! Two tiny chicken strips on a ciabatta bun with a pile of basil and cheese, for $13. What a joke sandwich. No one should pay more than $5 for that. And there were two random pita type breads thrown in? They had Agua Fresca drinks so we tried two flavors. For lunch, I rolled the dice on this deli joint situated at a big shopping center north of Vegas. It wasn't their logo signage above the storefront that attracted me. It was the hope they had a hot pastrami sandwich I had a hankerin' for. Inside feels like an open cafeteria. The left side is a long counter from front to back, where you place your order. I didn't see pastrami sandwich on the menu, but the person behind the counter says I can order the "Build Your Own Sandwich" and he can make my custom pastrami sandwich. So I did. It comes with a bag of Ruffles chips and a pickle spear. While waiting for the sandwich to be made, you're encouraged to get a free soft serve ice cream in the back. That was nice since today was pretty hot outside. My order was ready and took it to go. When I got home, the sandwich was still nice and hot. It wasn't a big sandwich and it wasn't bad.
