We hadn't tried CPK in years and decided to give it another shot since we were in the area. We started by sitting at the bar, ordering drinks and an appetizer, and then eventually ordered dinner. After about an hour, I asked the bartender how much longer our food would be. The bartender checked and then apologized, saying that our order had never been submitted. He didn't offer to comp our drinks or appetizer. We paid and before we walked out the door, the hostess asked us how our meal was. We said it was never delivered. She offered to get the mgr who was very kind and apologetic. Offered us gift cards for another visit and we declined as we won't go back. During the time we were waiting for our meal, not once did anyone check in with us, not even a glass of water. It was a chilly night last night so when we ordered I was excited for the tomato bisque. I even paid extra for the larger size. We got some entrees and a new dessert they are offering that says you get to choose three flavors of butter cake to sample . When we picked up our order, service was okay but it was that vibe where people don't really want to be at work . Not saying I blame them . When we got back and opened our food , they had completely forgotten my soup . It sounds silly but it actually made me really sad . I know people forget things and it's always smart to check your entire order, but we had multiple bags full of like opening them in the restaurant. So, in sad me style, I went straight for the dessert to try to make myself feel better. As you can see from the photo, they gave me 3 mini cupcakes, three containers of whip cream, two containers of ice cream and ONE container of flavor. They forgot two of my flavors so I had to eat two plain little cakes. For a company who seems like they really want to retain business since they attached a thank you card to my order filled with business cards and notes and a $5 off my next visit coupon, I think they're missing the plot. My go to spot at the mall, my favorite is the chicken piccata and dumpling appetizer. We got sat quickly and service was great.

I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to share. We were served by a bartender named Evan, and unfortunately, his behavior made the entire visit uncomfortable. Throughout the meal, he repeatedly interrupted our conversation which felt intrusive and unnecessary. The most uncomfortable part came at the end when it was time to pay. He placed the iPad flat on the table for the tip selection and stood there silently staring while my dad completed it. After he finished, he tapped the screen, processed the payment without saying a word, and immediately walked away. There was no "thank you," no acknowledgment--just a very awkward and rude interaction. Good service doesn't require over-the-top friendliness, but basic courtesy goes a long way. This experience left a negative impression that overshadowed the rest of our visit. read more

The pineapple and ham were largely sliced and the crust was your standard cauliflower crust (thin, which is welcomed). It was a good option for a fairly quick lunch. We went there because the sign outside said that there were $10 pizzas tonight (Tuesday), we asked our server if we were ok to order out specific pizzas for that price and he said yes. We came with a group of 7 and it was not busy at all, which should have tipped us off that something was wrong, as Cheesecake Factory was very busy and Sichuan gourmet nearby had a 2 hour wait. Every pizza, pasta, and salad we ordered was just alright. Pizzas came out lukewarm and I think the best thing I tasted was probably the shrimp pasta dish. One friend didn't get served her food (pizza) until we were literally all done eating. We kept reminding our server and I don't think it was her fault or anything, it just took that long for no particular reason! At least two of us didn't have utensils so we had to ask multiple times for that. I made the mistake of getting a soufflé lava cake and it was so tasteless and bland--I didn't think a standard chocolate cake could be this bad. The only reason I'm giving this one star is in consideration that it was school vacation week and it was extremely busy. The server came over and took our beverage and food order. Then we waited and waited and waited. The teenagers ordered mocktails. The picture of them on the menu looked delicious with deep pink color and fresh strawberries. What arrived at our table 30 minutes later was Fresca with a pink tint, no strawberries. They were very disappointed. Never did we get our water and bread. We're here again two weeks after our previous review, and tonight they twice messed up the simplest order: a plain cheese pizza. The first one came out with no sauce; just bread and cheese, but with tomatoes and basil on top. The second one (the replacement for the first), came out almost 30 mins later, and it was only bread and cheese. This is highly disappointing. It's bad enough to mess up the first order, but to wait almost 30 mins and still get an incorrect pizza is way below standards. The worst and incompetent workers ever. I did an online takeout order on a Friday night. The app wasn't bad. Straight forward to use. I went in to pick up the food right on time based on the app estimate. I was NOT greeted when I went in. Whatever...but I asked one of the workers if where I was standing at was where I can wait to pick up my online order and he said yea. So I was standing there waiting for them to call my order. As I stood there, the few workers that came and went seemed like they didn't like their jobs. Absolutely zero customer service and not even common human decency to see me standing there for a long time to ask me if I was being helped or not. Not even a "hi". They just pretended I wasn't there. Many minutes went by, I asked if my online order was ready and one of the worker said "O we had your order ready but we didn't know it was for you". What the heck, right? I was the only one there waiting for take out. The restaurant was not even busy. And then they took their time getting my 2 lemonades after that. Even after all that, that worker did not even put napkins and utensils that I asked for. They even hesitated to give me straws for our drinks. And I also added bread in the app but didn't even get that. I wasn't even upset I didn't get the bread because it was no cost (option in the app) but just upset that those workers were incompetent employees and just indecent human beings in general. (One could be incompetent employee and still be a decent human being but not here) It is amazing. This was a new low in all my restaurant experiences. I was courteous the entire time, so I don't know what their problems are. How was the food? Pizza was obviously cold after the long wait. But even so, the pizza was not even worth the $18.99 to begin with. Size was small. Taste-wise, there was nothing special. At least with Dominos, you can get more for half the cost and with more flavorful crust. I don't know how they can keep a straight face charging that price for that pizza. What a joke. If this is "California pizza", then this is an insult for Californians. The golden state lemonade was bad as well. I can taste the fluorine or chlorine from the typical sink water they probably used to make the drinks. Overall, a disgusting experience. Food and service sucked. I do not recommend at all, not even to my worst enemies. Even if you are very hungry and this was the only restaurant opened, do yourself a favor and stay away. I'm disappointed every time I go to this location. Twice I received pizza that has multiple pieces of tin foil stuck to the bottom which ended up in my mouth. Caleb was the absolute most welcoming server. He recommended an awesome margarita that didn't skimp out on the alcohol haha and mentioned that our eggrolls were going to be fresh since they sold out this afternoon! I've been to this location in Natick a number of times over the years. Service is usually decent, and the specialty pizzas they have been known for are consistent. The location is convenient if you are already in the mall to eat at, but sometimes trying to come here on the weekend to eat and you are going to be drifting aimlessly in the parking lot hoping to get a spot depending upon what time of day you are here. Pricing for CPK is pretty standard. It is not on the cheap side, and probably on the slightly higher given what you can find for specialty pizza in this day and age. But given the food and general location this is for Natick, I have to say it is coming in at what you would expect. read more

I've always been a huge fan of CPK. My fiancé, friend, and I decided to come here after doing some shopping. There wasn't a line for a table which was nice cause we were so hungry. So they asked if we need water or anything else to drink-we just wanted water which took them 25 min just to get water, then even after an hour no sign of food and there were literally only few people who had come to eat and the workers who work there are the worst and had no manners to even give a status update and finally we were close to 9 PM and left from there without any food and never going back here.
