a receipt for a pizza order

comella's has the best pizza! i always get their cheese pizza. everything on their menu is very affordable and they have plenty of options. it's perfect for family get togethers and pizza parties! i generally place orders to pick up and they are always made on time. the staff are super friendly and the check out process is quick. there's only a table or two inside the restaurant and it's pretty small. if you subscribe to their emails they send out coupons pretty often! overall rating: 10/10

This is one teeny-tiny restaurant. Within the few dozen times I've traveled along this stretch of Route 16, I've never even noticed there was a Comella's here, and even today, I almost drove right by it. Such a tiny little space that is only able to accommodate a few tables and very little else. Even so, I'd rather have they stay small and for the prices to stay as low as they are, because in the current state, Comella's has the best food around for such affordable prices. Even though the prices did rise a year or so ago, going from $5 to $5.99 for a large pizza is still lower than everywhere else around. Staff here and friendly and prompt. I made an order after visiting the Whole Foods down the street and my order was ready in less than ten minutes from the call, even though she had said it would be fifteen. Quality throughout their large menu including pizzas, calzones, hot / cold sandwiches, "family messes", pastas, raviolis, entrees and more is top notch and filling for any meal. Parking here isn't great, with only a few on street spots, but if you can't find one, parking in the Walgreens lot is fine (sort of...). Service here is accurate and quick. My kind of place. 4 stars for the Wellesley Comella's. It may be smaller than Needham and Westwood, but it's still fills the purpose.

This is the Mini Cannoli (couldn't resist taking a bite first lol)

Hit or miss. The chicken sandwich I will say was one of the worst I've had.... BUT the pizza is delicious.

Possibly the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life!…read more Ordered two 18" pizzas via GrubHub, a sausage & ricotta, and a pepperoni. The former was a swimming pool of liquid on top, and wasn't even sliced. Unsliced pizza? Maybe they were worried all that liquid would destroy the box if they sliced it? The crust of the second one was actually soggy. Floppy pizza is a thing, but it shouldn't disintegrate! Also, the cheese over-cooked so that the oil separated, and the pizza was extremely salty. Combine that with the GrubHub (or store's?) driver just dropping the pizzas in my neighbor's driveway, and a photo of the location didn't show up for some time in the app, so I had to wander around randomly looking for my pizzas in my pajamas. Ate a few slices, but threw the rest in the garbage. Basically inedible. Never again!

The balsamic was tasty, but the amount was too small. I wish the bread was something more special than just a sub roll. They do have a really good deal on Monday for a buy one get one meatball sub. Husby said the meatballs were really delicious & tender. He's a fan of the sub roll. They were out of the lasagna, which I really wanted to try so I'll have to come back again and give it another go. The pizza & mozz sticks looks good as well.

""Meet me at the deli, meet me at the bar."…read more(The Strokes) Gianni's is a family-owned deli and pizzeria on Highland Street in the heart of Needham's busy Central Business District. They don't occupy a particularly large space -it's dominated by an ordering station with a big menu board over it, and a small showcase for their highly rated pizzas. Why "highly rated"? Well, they scored a 7.9 rating on Barstool sports, just a scant .1 of a point from their 8.0's description of "exceptional and rare". But we weren't there for pizza, we wanted to pick up some subs for a few lunches on our weekend trip. They have 14 "cold" and 10 "hot" sandwiches, and the pricing structure really makes you a fool if you don't go big. Our Italian and Ham and Cheese subs were prices at $11.99 for small and $12.99 for a large, so you tell me what choice you would make? My large Italian sub easily provided a satisfying half for Friday lunch and a second half for Saturday lunch. It was an excellent sandwich with plenty of meat on a pillowy soft sesame breaded sub roll with lettuce, tomato, onions and vinegar, Have I had subs with more meat? Of course I have. But have I paid around $20 for comparably sized subs? Of course I have. So, was I happy for Gianni's value, considering quality, quantity, and price? One thousand percent YES. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our visit very much. Of Note Their parking lot is tiny, so it would be challenging to negotiate on a perfect weather day. It was a snowy mess when we visited, and the mounds of snow and sardine-like jam-up of cars made the lot a hard pass for us. We ended up parking in the big lot across the street, behind Blue On Highland and walked over.

He got the Israeli breakfast sub vegan kofta kebabs for the tuna and I got the vegetable shakshuka. The Israeli plate is a cornucopia of items, the pics don't do it justice. The plate was bigger than his head. He was in heaven, mmmmm-ing and ohhhing as he ate. I had the shakshuka. Now, I make this at home and have eaten it at numerous restaurants. I know good shakshuka. It was divine. The perfect amount of heat, eggs were properly runny, and the veggies were a perfect balance of crunch and spring. An espresso vanilla bean hurricane, was a delightful addition to the rest of our lunch. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The cafe interior was utilitarian and well maintained. The staff delivering food were attentive to other guests needs as they walked by. All in all, excellent food and experience. I look forward to returning.

Parking was easy right in front of the restaurant. There was a variety of pre-cooked meals, as well as desserts, chips and a wide variety of drinks available. The menu is quite extensive with 80 sandwiches alone. Never mind the pizzas, pasta dishes and appetizers available. Unfortunately, the Italian sandwich didn't meet expectations. Despite being the most expensive option, it had very little meat, lacked flavor, and the bread was dry. It just felt like it was missing something and wasn't worth the price. On a positive note, the Sicilian pizza was absolutely amazing--perfectly doughy and packed with flavor. It is a small place, quite messy, with a lot of activity (baking cookies, slicing meats) that had little to do with customer service. As I was the only customer there (at 1:25 in the afternoon) i was ignored (despite my attempts to converse) until I called out for a chicken parmigiana sandwich to go. The bread is fresh, but the sandwich merely had small pieces of breaded chicken--essentially just little bites, like one would cut for a toddler. Sauce was underwhelming and surprisingly (and disappointingly) sweet. I also purchased some premade penne with marinara for dinner. Again, the marinara was very dull...and sweet. The sandwich cost $14.75, and the penne was another $11.00. There were no pizza slices, no arancini. Rather disappointing and bare. In fact, the lemon cookie I bought, which was NOT mind blowing in any sense, was the single best thing I bought there. I know good Italian deli, and yes, I have been to Sicily on several occasions.
