I was excited to try Enoteca because I'd heard such great things about it. Unfortunately I should have listened to the negative reviews because we had a truly terrible experience here. When we were seated there were about 5 other tables seated in the restaurant. The host took us to our seats and gave us our menus. He then came back to take our drink and food orders and that is literally the last time we saw him or had any waitstaff at our table at all. There was waitstaff taking care of all the other tables, but no one ever came over to us. After sitting for 15 minutes without drinks I had to go up the bar myself! The gentleman behind the bar was very nice and said that our drink orders (a coke and a Chianti) were never put in. He got them for us right away. After another 10 minutes I got worried that our food hadn't been put in so I went back up to the bar and the gentleman went to check in the kitchen and said it would be right out. He was not a server but was nice enough to get our food and bring it to us. No one ever came to our table after that. The Chianti was terrible, I only drank about 3 sips because it tasted like vinegar. The pizza was ok. I really like pesto but this one didn't complement the pizza. The gnocchi with vodka sauce was fine too. When we were done I had to GO BACK to the bar and ask if I could pay our bill. He apologized and admitted it wasn't right that we never had a server. A manager was sitting and eating at the bar. He heard everything I said to the waiter and didn't say a word to me. He was also quite close to our table and saw that no one was coming over!! He just walked away after I sat back down to gather my things to leave. I honestly didn't want to even pay the bill but we did eat some of the food so I paid it. I will never, ever go back. From the moment we walked in, the host and waitstaff warmly welcomed us. Our server Moira efficiently took our order and made great suggestions. It's clear she knows the menu! To set the stage, this is an Italian restaurant nested into Bosse, a pickleball (eww) gym. It's one of the wings of Natick Mall, a beautiful mall property with what feels like a lot a traffic but a lot of vacancies. I'm glad the mall is creative with formats like this; good and efficient use of space. Bosse also has a cafe that serves coffee and baked goods on the same floor, and a big sports bar on the second floor. Given the captive audience from the pickleball players and the location in the mall, I think that Enoteca could get away with much worse quality of food and service. But I'd rate food a 5 and service a 5 as well. Jayda, the hostess, was friendly and all smiles. What a great first impression - and Anthony, the manager, could not have been nicer and more accommodating of our unreasonable ask to move some tables so that our party could watch the pickleball players while dining. We were excited coming in, and they were super nice - making our experience even better. Our server, Karl, was also professional and friendly. He had some great recommendations, and we were really impressed by the food. He was kind and attentive. I hope we get him next time. All of the pasta is freshly made - no dry pasta out of a box - and the pizza is freshly made in their really legit pizza oven. We got the tagliatelle, the gnocchi, and pappardelle. All three were very special, and very different. The BBQ chicken pizza was superior to CPK (way more authentic), and the pepperoni pizza had hot honey drizzled on it. Both the caesar salad and the brussel sprouts were delicious too. Finally, both the garlic bread and the focaccia were delicious. This is a proper Italian restaurant. I had my skepticisms because there are big signs outside of the restaurant saying this is the best Italian food in Metro West. I don't think they're wrong. Sat in the main restaurant downstairs on a recent Saturday evening, I brought my girlfriend with me and wanted to show her this relatively new restaurant/pickleball concept I was initially excited about. We ordered an appetizer and salad to start which were good. Decided to venture with the Chicken Parmigiana for our main entree to split. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in its presentation; it came out as stiff as a board, seemed like a couple of baked/boiled chicken breasts with a slice or two of melted cheese and marina sauce. This IS NOT the way the dish should be prepared; it was terrible. NOTE TO THE CHEF: you want to start with chicken breasts; run through a meat tenderizer; flour & egg-dipped, breaded and deep-fried in a Fryolator; prepared in a casserole dish with cheese and tomato sauce; bake for 10-15 minutes before serving. More recently (Wednesday) stopped by the sports bar upstairs; interestingly it's always completely dead; NOTE TO OWNER/MANAGEMENT: not sure if your're doing any marketing/advertising to get people in there, but generally a sports bar is a A LOT MORE FUN place to go especially when there's more than one person in the place beside the bartender. OH, yes, I had the Fried Calamari; again as I said not very busy but it took forever for it to arrive; hmmmm, yes, it had been made right-away but sat on the counter and cooled-off completely by the time it was served to me; it was COLD!! Calamari (what little there was) doesn't taste good COLD!!! The bartender never stopped by to ask how it was or ask if I wanted a re-fill on my coke when it had run dry. NOTE TO OWNERSHIP: You've been open more more than a year now and the alarm bells should be ringing LOUDLY -- your business is MORIBUND; and time to do something different to turn it around ASAP!!! read more

What a surprise at the Natick mall! Part of the Bosse Pickleball complex, the restaurant has a courtside view. Pickleball and Italian food! Bosse Enoteca opened recently at Bosse Pickledom in the Natick Mall. This chef operated Italian restaurant and bar in partnership with Bosse has a bright modern atmosphere with a full cocktail bar with seating, ample table seating, high top tables & seating along the glass windows overlooking the main level pickleball courts and an open pizza kitchen with woodfired pizza oven. The menu offers a selection of Italian dishes, pasta, woodfired pizzas. salads, appetizers, and desserts. The bar offers cocktails, martinis, beer, and an impressive wine list (by the glass or bottle). The prices are on the higher side. They officially opened to the public for dinner and drinks on November 27, 2024 with invite preview runs before that. Since they just opened, I made an online reservation for Bosse Enoteca for 5pm when they open. I was promptly seated at a table near the server water station and given the dinner menu, wine list (over 20 pages), and bar drinks menu.. Light background music could be heard over the speakers. Upon looking at the dinner menu, I noticed that is menu was updated and truncated from their preview menu including one size entrees (not half or full size options) and some price differences between the preview menu and current dinner menu. They also offer water service, but I opted for the ice still water. Anyways, for Yelp purposes, I decided to order a pizza as a first course, pasta entree as the main course, and order a dessert afterwards. For a starter, the 12" Itailian Sausage Pizza ($22 plus tax) was topped with crushed tomatoes, pickled cherry peppers, ground Italian sausage, charred red onions, & melted mozzarella cheese on top of a very thin flimsy crust with thick puffed firm edge crust, slightly charred. This hot pizza was really quite good and I finish the entire pizza before my entree arrived. For dinner, the Busciate ($24 plus tax) had al dente busciate noodles mixed with a wild boar ragu, tomato pesto, marcona almonds & pecorino. This dish had hearty flavors, but I did request a box for much of this so I could get dessert. My first choice of Baked Alaska with Amaretto Cake was not yet available, so I went with the Chocolate Hazelnut Torta ($15 plus tax). This dessert was nicely presented which had a thick dense chocolate fudge tart layered with chocolate coated cookie, macarated sour cherries, nuts, vincotto, chocolate hazelnut sauce and a small scoop of hazelnut gelato. After I was done, the check with Toast QR code was presented, which was $65.27 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I had was excellent and the service was a bit over the top and attentive since there was first evening nerve vibes. I would come back here for a treat meal as the menu here is evolving. I also noticed they are developing a lunch menu, but for now they are open only for dinner. read more

Upscale restaurant surrounded by pickleball courts. Wound up being a fantastic meal and fun atmosphere. The pastas and pizza were outstanding. The service was excellent- the staff were professional enough to maintain the upscale vibe and down to earth enough to make our kids feel like they belonged there. They were eager to bring food out but forget our utensils... she was super sweet but she needs to realize we can't eat our steaks with just steak knife. First she brought out the steak, then she brought the knives... then we had to tell her she took our utensils away when we finished the salad... so she had to get it... It was very nice restaurant but almost too high end for Natick. If this restaurant was in Boston, it would do so much better. It's almost too good of a quality and price for metro west read more

It can be hit or miss but the staff is amazing! LOVE the carpaccio even if its a bit on the acidic side. Burgers, when on the menu are awesome! I KNOW the chef has adobo in his kitchen and knows FLAVOR. Place is entertaining and the barstaff knows their stuff. Wine list is pricey even for Natick. And not that great. Mixed drinks? Can't go wrong. Those bartenders will set up up the right way. Management is wonderful. read more

In my life (I am 73) I have written only one other "bad" review of a restaurant. But I have been in bowling alley cafeterias with better service. Admittedly, I was promptly greeted, my drink was there within 5 minutes, but then I sat there for 25 minutes with an open menu and no server and several "servers" walking by my table on the way to chat with others. It's a shame, because I was intrigued that someone actually made carbonara with guanciale and no cream...but alas, I will never know (unless I decide to take up pickleball!). I wanted to share my experience from my recent lunch visit with my family. We ordered the prosciutto pizza, the kids' marinara pasta, and a chopped salad. While I found the salad to be quite basic considering the price, I was shocked to discover a piece of a wooden skewer baked into the pizza. Thankfully, I noticed it before swallowing, but it raised serious concerns about the kitchen's quality control practices. I appreciate our server's attentiveness and the promptness of both her and the manager in addressing the issue. However, the manager's response felt insufficient given the seriousness of the situation. While I was relieved that the pizza was comped, I had to specifically request a remake, which I believe should have been offered immediately without prompting. We will not return, especially considering this could have been potentially dangerous, had it occurred to my child. I genuinely hope that steps are taken to ensure better safety and quality controls in the future. The pickleball courts seem great. read more

A hidden gem in the vast labyrinth that is the Natick Mall, Bosse Enoteca delivers delightful handcrafted Italian cuisine with a great airy ambience ideal for families, friends, dates or business occasions. We were repeatedly wowed by the craftsmanship and quality of the dishes we ordered - pasta, pizza, sides and appetizers all are made with care and outcompete many other nearby options easily. The Brussel Sprouts are a standout dish and the Chicken Parm is an impressively generous portion - the Octopus and Prime Ribeye are bold and confident as well! Pleasant and speedy service and gracious staff members who all want to be there round out the experience quite well. We ended up visiting multiple times in the first week for different occasions and enjoyed it every time. Definitely the classiest option in the Natick Mall and worth seeking out for anyone weary of the more standard fare. read more

Had a Caesar salad. Beautifully presented, but no anchovies. A bit bland. Margherta pizza had great ingredients from the pesto to the crushed tomatoes to the cheese. Nicely charred, but the crust could have been crisper. Chicken parm should have come with pasta. This is the 'burbs, not Boston or New York. We expect (demand) side of pasta. Good selection of wines by the glass. And the prices here are, well, pricey. Not crazy, but a couple of dollars too much for everything. All we had was salad and pizza but what a wonderful place. You do see the pickleball courts but the noise was not an issue. Salad was excellent with a number of things I didnt know what they were but they tasted great. Pizza also was excellent. We got the sausage pizza which includes peppers and onions. crust was top notch and I it all. There did seem to be a slight spice which I liked but not sure where it came from. I am assuming it was the peppers. Service was great and look forward to going back read more

Had a table of 4 for dinner on a Friday night. First of all, the server was great. Attentive, helpful, etc. The atmosphere is just plain weird. It is an upscale place surrounded by pickle ball courts and the mall entrance. The food was OK. Three of us had pasta dishes. The serving sizes were pretty skimpy. The odd thing is that all three pasta dishes had one unnecessary ingredient -- for example, too much lemon in the bolognese. The chicken parm was enormous. At the end, all things considered, Enoteca was good, but not good enough to warrant the price. read more

We've been here several times since they opened. The drinks and pizza are outstanding. The service is hit and miss. We've usually sit at the bar either upstairs or downstairs. We've had great service at both and very dismissive service at both. The atmosphere isn't great. It's very very bright and in the evenings it's is very loud. Ultimately what earned the 1 star review was the fish and chips. The first piece was fine. The second piece was clearly spoiled and tasted like ammonia. The bartender seemed to not really care. He took it away and took it off the bill but no apology or concern. The manager took it off our bill and then came over later and asked how everything was, as if he didn't already know. Decided to check out Bosse Enoteca after being open for a few days. We had a party of six. Ordered the spaghetti, rigatoni, Margherita pizza, arancini and garlic bread. Everything we ordered was awful, right down to the garlic bread which was not edible. Looked more like an asian scallion pie with cheese on the inside and outside then covered with garlic powder. The rigatoni was so salty and oily. The Margherita pizza burnt and everything was so salty. I was really hoping that this new restaurant would be good. Given more option in the area. I can't believe this place is run by a top chef. Came here for dinner with two friends and everything we ordered was mediocre to say the least! Then Went to the cappuccino place a few times hoping it would improve , but my 3rd time was even worse! Coffee was lukewarm and tasted like spoiled milk! And needless to say the people they have working at the Cafe couldn't care less. Not engaged. Didn't want to be there! The first time the manager actually charged me an extra 15 cents more because he couldn't break my bill! Are you kidding? Between the restaurant and the Cafe - I'll pass. Drinks and food are very good. Servers are friendly and attentive (we ate at the bar). One giant gripe though, no one in the group took home any leftovers which means the portions are too small. I get it, if i am eating imported Wagyu I dont expect large portions, otherwise, if I am eating a bowl of pasta, you can afford to put a bit more in the bowl without killing your margins.
