This time I needed a home appointment to get printer hooked up to print from my iPhone and iPad and a 2d monitor and keyboard hooked up. 3 hours later keyboard and monitor working but was told something was wrong with the printer setup and didn't know how to fix it. PRICE $372 The next day I wasn't sure what to do so I started looking up what could be wrong. Took me a couple hours and I finally got everything working iPad and iPhone. Had it been fixed by the guy who came I would have said expensive but it's working. But $372 and not fixed I felt a little ripped off especially since I got it working and I'm not a computer person. I won't make that mistake again!

Screen wouldn't come on at startup and the entire thing would just power down. Back then I took it to an Apple Store where a genius told me it was out of warrantee and there were no guarantees they could repair, and if they did it would probably be less expensive to just buy a new laptop. I decided to just use my smaller MacBook Air and put the broken MacBook in a box at home. Flash forward to 2025, I noticed Fix that Mac while in Concord and decided to dig out the old broken MacBook to bring in. Josh said he'd have a look and give me a call with what he found. A few days later I get a text from Josh that he figured out the problem with the screen (a known graphics card issue) and also I needed a new battery as my battery was dead from being unpowered so long. We also decided to upgrade the hard drive so performance could meet almost 2025 standards and be able to jump up a few operating systems. After quoting me his estimates for the time plus hardware (which were incredibly reasonable) I gave the go ahead and my laptop was ready in another couple of days for pickup. Is my boosted 2015 laptop a match for the current 2025 line of MacBooks? Of course not! But it's running as well as my MacBook Air now and it's a great backup should I need more processing juice. However, after just a few minutes, Evan informed me that my hardware was in good condition. He only needed to address the "software bloat" to get my computer back in order. He also assured me that once this was done, I would likely have another two years before needing to worry about replacing my computer. We spoke on a Friday, and he kindly asked if I needed my computer back over the weekend or if I was okay leaving it for him to start working on it the following Monday afternoon. I chose to wait until Monday so I could finish a few more tasks. I dropped off my computer on Monday evening and picked it up the next day. Evan took the time to explain in detail everything he had done and how each change improved my computer. Evan is extremely talented, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Take it home and power it up to have the keyboard die on me 5 keystrokes in. I immediately returned to him with the laptop to show him the keyboard no longer worked. While I was there he breaks the space bar off my keyboard in front me, further damaging the laptop. Needless to say I sent the laptop back to Dell and paid them to fix it correctly. Don't learn your lesson the hard way like me. Just take it somewhere reputable, like the manufacturer!

I had completely disassembled my $400 HP printer, put it back together and something went wrong and the screen wouldn't light up. They're not only found the tiny wire inside a very, very small cable that I have broken, they showed me a picture of it and gave me a complete tutorial. then they went on to explain why my printer wasn't working anymore. It had smeared printing because over five years, I've been using aftermarket toner on an HP printer. I then asked for a recommendation on a high volume printer for home use. That's in between category between home desktop and large office printers. They said they didn't know but they researched it and called me back a couple of days later with really excellent advice I took and purchased the printer they recommended! Then one day I was nearby installed a large projection system and didn't have a long enough power cable. I went in and explained and they gave me a 10 foot power cable for free. But most important these people are are very friendly as well as mean technical experts... But very humble about it and they really listen care about the customers. Wow!

Based on your reviews (thank you) I asked Robert to repair my HP3600n printer. I had replaced the Electrostatic Transfer Belt myself with an online purchased kit, but it got error 59.F0. Robert diagnosed that my new ETB was bad and also found two other broken printer parts (which I knew were a problem). I now have a "new" printer and Robert only charged me for one repair visit. Had an HP laser printer start to wrinkle the paper (on a Sunday, of course). Called CPR, and had Robert come out two days later. He was prompt and, after tearing down the printer to nuts and bolts, he had us up and working again as good as new. Considering the price of the same printer new plus the $80 toner cartridge we would have lost in the process, and the fact that it took an hour and a half, CPR was very reasonable. Cheryl answered the phone and after confirming they could service my specific models, she said they could send a technician to my home and told me the hourly rate and also that they didn't have a 2-hr service minimum or anything like that (which other places I called did have). I'm a mobile notary so even though these printers are for my business, it's not like I have an office with enough printer problems for two hours of work. I do print around 1,000 pages/day, so they're definitely work horses and I need them running at their best or I can't get work. After the short call, I had an appointment scheduled, and a couple days later, right at 10 a.m. (for an appt window between 10 & noon), I received a call from their technician and Co-owner, David, who was already on his way). I really appreciated his timeliness and communication and all the work he put in to diagnose/repair one printer, and laying the other to rest. David was friendly and worked diligently for the entire hour-plus time that he was here. he also went over a few different printer options for when I'm ready to purchase a new one and let me know what they sell and service through their company, so I look forward to working with them again in the future!
