Gina and Arturo did an excellent tile job for us. We had just purchased a home and needed the 2 bedrooms tiled before we could move our stuff into those rooms. Gina gave us an excellent quote and we discussed possible options of tile and grout. She kept us informed as to when Arturo would be there with his helper working. Gina was really great! She kept us informed the entire way! Now Arturo....He went WAY above and beyond. He asked what time he could come in the mornings. We told him the earlier the better. So, he said he would come at 7 am. He was there at 7 am and worked until 7 one night and 8 the other night to get the job done. He could see we were camping in the living room until the bedroom was finished. So, he went above and beyond! We had no concerns about leaving him and his workers alone in our home. We have had major work done in our home TWICE within a year by installers from Carpet One. When we first moved into our home, RCO helped us select our new carpet, bathroom tiles, and backsplash in our kitchen. Dwight was patient and very helpful during the selection process, and the materials we selected were exactly as shown. We couldn't wait to move in and enjoy the new finishes! More recently, our kitchen flooded and we had to remove and replace over 1,000feet of hardwood, as well as get the damage to the walls and island fixed. Once again, Dwight was responsive and helped coordinate floor demolition, replacement and what eventually turned into a kitchen remodel project. We used RCO not just for flooring but for our new kitchen countertop as well! And it is all BEAUTIFUL!! Sure, there were a few scheduling hiccups during the process. But this is construction and this is real life, not an episode of Fixer Upper. Shit happens, things get delayed, and timelines stretch. Installers get sick, material shipping can be snaffu'd. We went through it all. But ULTIMATELY we were educated about all those things, accepted them, and we LOVE the final result. Had a fantastic experience with Gina and Troy! Our dog destroyed the carpet a week before my parent's​ 50th wedding anniversary party being held at our home so we were under the gun on time. We had to replace one room so it needed to match the rest of the house. Excellent service and great installation on a recent carpet purchase from Carpet One at their Roseville store. One of the largest displays of carpet and hardwood flooring I have seen in the area, with extremely competitive pricing on name brand products. Gina in sales came out to measure the house the next day after I asked for a quote and assisted in getting the color choices down to a couple of colors that complemented the decor and interior paint on my home. I had the entire house measured a year ago as I was making decisions on what areas needed wood and where carpet would be appropriate. Gina's measurements came within two square feet of the earlier measurements. Her knowledge and assistance, as well as her extremely accurate flooring measurements, were greatly appreciated. She has a very pleasant and helpful personality. The installer Louie, and his assistant, were right on time the day of installation. Louie was easy to work with, very methodical in his installation methods, and great on the little details. He did an exceptionally nice job on the staircase and landing, and did a great job on cleanup when he was finished with the project. The custom ordered Mohawk carpet arrived at Carpet One at the time Gina advised it would, and the installation and sale were handled flawlessly. I'm more than satisfied, and the price was extremely competitive. When the job was complete only a very small piece of carpet was left on the roll, no waste or paying for carpet that was not used on the project. Just a great experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gina, Louie, and Carpet One. Each step of the way everyone was on time, displayed excellent customer service, and delivered as promised. Regarding the response to my review: as you can see from the pictures, I cited damaged that was not caused by "defication" from pets. We have a Sr dog who does occasionally loose control of her bowels, however, that should not cause the level of damage we have experienced. I believe the pictures I posted stand on their own. They hire the worst installers. Totally ruined my wood floor. Lint and hair under the floor sealant. The floor has loose boards they refuse to fix anything. Tony the guy who represents them wouldn't take his sneakers off when he walked on my flooring. His sneakers squeaked so much it covered the sound of the loose boards creaking. They gouged my stair stringers and landing with their sander and refused to fix it. They simply suck and refuse to admit they suck. I would never use these clowns again. My floor is uneven now and it sucks to walk on. read more

This review is for the installers only! They were great guys, had a good attitude, they prompt and very nice. They did have to come back to tack down some much needed nails but again when they came back they were apologetic about the nails but very pleasant. I would of given them a 5 star but they didn't make the closet doors right and hubby had to do it himself. First off, they have a great selection of flooring which was overwhelming at first, but Gina helped us to sort through and find the perfect fit. We love, love the new laminate we had installed. If you like going to court after making full payment and having an attempt to collect again (he lost) and the owner/contractor says to the judge in the hearing: "I do not have time to oversee my workers because I have four stores to manage." You never addressed the very valid issue that Dwight represented himself as a salesman of your company, rather than a contractor as you told me on the phone. Your only remedy, as you told me during our conversation, was that you were going to tell Dwight "to be more careful" which is when I absolutely interrupted you, and became angry. That is not a solution for me and my issue. You still have not made this right, and I am left with floors that move, and poor craftsmanship with details so overly flawed and obvious, they have been noticed by visitors in our home, as well as the (competent) flooring installers that came to fix the bathroom. The bottom line, is that you have a snake of an employee, who billed us OVER $11k under the guise that we were hiring Carpet One, and we are not satisfied. You should be ashamed of yourself being a business owner and being totally okay with this happening to a customer. You spoke to me in a condescending manner, and didn't solve the problem, and you have not once tried to reach out to me to fix the issue, because you don't think you should, when every single contractor and flooring company I have discussed this with, has said that is the least you should be doing for us. You seem pretty out of touch with today's world and good business practice. I STAND BY MY REVIEW AND ENCOURAGE ALL PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS TO RESEARCH THIS COMPANY. read more

They saved us a huge headache. We've been remodeling our house for the last year. One of the first things we did last year was carpet in the spare rooms. We saved our master for last. Well, if it weren't for Andy giving us a call last month to see how things were going, we would have missed out on the carpet we used because it was discontinued! From there we worked with Gina who was very available and kept us in the loop. They had to get the carpet shipped in from up north. Once it was in office, the install was a breeze. She pointed us in the right direction almost immediately and came to our house to measure that same evening. Within a day she had our estimate and follow up with us on every step of the process. Gina our sales rep was great. We had the Laminate floors installed and they were beautiful. Then we discover the floors bubbling in the joints in several locations. We call and have two of their people come out and they tell us it's from water damage. They even insuated our pet urinated on the floors!! No one ever told us that water, which we never poured on the floor, would cause bubbling of the laminate. They told us now to never put water on the floor, which we never did, and use some cleaner called Bonoa, We were never told to use a particular cleaner, we may have dropped water on the floor in small spots from wet dishes, but no one explained that no wetness of any kind can be left on the floor. We did not ever wet mop these floors. Now we have bubbling all over the place, and they say its out fault. We will not do business with them again as they made no effort to help us and never told us of any issues with any type of water or drinks spilled would cause the floor to bubble, we would have never put these floors in if they had told us of this problem. We do not have kids in the house either so they can blame eveyone else but themselves. read more

I wanted to write this review to warn others of a problem with their installers. Everything else, the product, the sales people, and service overall was excellent! Two guys came to install the flooring in my office. After removing the carpet, there was a small hairline crack in the concrete slab which is normal. All concrete cracks! They stopped and demanded I give them $125 to cover the crack or they could not finish. The store was closed, early morning, so I had not choice but to write them a check. They held me up! So beware that their installers are not honest. Make sure you get in writing any repairs to the floor and don't let the installer hold you up. Thinking back, I should have showed them to the door! read more

If your sales person recommends using bona floor polish on your flooring DON'T. It is an awful product! The polish remover is only available online and you have to use a specific cloth. Great experience with RCO. We had synthetic lawn installed next to our pool and it looks and feels amazing! They have a nice selection of quality turf to choose from. We picked the New Plush and it is gorgeous and so soft! The crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the job right. Just two days of prep and install and they were done. One of my biggest concerns was the health and safety factor of synthetic lawn. RCO was very respectful of my concerns and reassured me of the safety of the products they use. They do not use any crumb rubber or silica sand for infill making it safe for the little ones to play on. We will definitely use RCO for our future projects! read more

We recently replaced our entire 2nd floor and staircase carpet through Carpet One in Roseville. Their sales staff are very knowledgable, helpful and excellent in their customer service approach. We worked with Rick Bertelli through the ordering, scheduling and installation process, as well as Jim Hess. We had a couple of delays in completing our installation due to the original carpet selection (bad dye lot/quality issues), but working directly with one of the owners (Earl Mann) and Rick and Jim was a big help. AWFUL customer service! Had to come back to pick it up because our quote had sizing for the carpet to be cut and they were shocked that they even offered to cut it for us and weren't prepared as the quote said it would be. Once I picked it up, they cut one of the pieces 1 foot too short and because we needed the carpet for a show, didn't have time to make them correct it. After that, the carpet broke our vacuum because it was shedding so bad (not due to it being cut as we didn't vacuum the edges), and when we called to confront them about the entire experience, they told us "that happens sometimes". Never returning calls from unknown numbers I decided to call the one from Roseville. Andy Sterling answered the phone and announced "Carpet One" ahh yes Ive done business with them several years ago. I found Andy to be nonjudgemental, not pushy, calming, polite and all around a genuine person. I was not looking to doing any new floors now or even in the near future. After a brief conversation the call was coming to a end when Andy told me that Carpet One has taken on Granite for kitchen and bath redoes. AH! HA! now he was talking my language.
