At first I didn't know what it was. Kept opening the stove and closing it. Couldn't figure it out where the gas smell was coming from. Then, I turned the knobs of the burners and still nothing. It scared me a bit. It can be very dangerous. So earlier this morning, I called them and they gave me a 4 hour estimated time. A nice gentleman by the name of Mike came inside my apartment to take a look at it. In less than 20 minutes, he figured out what the problem was. Took care of it and left. He was so humble that he didn't want to charge me anything by saying it wasn't a big deal. Problem solved, no more smell, but I still gave him $10 dollars since he showed up. Then I was reluctantly offered a store credit. The clerk's demeanor and arrogance were appalling. I was told that it's the owner's policy. I don't believe him. This policy is not posted anywhere, nor was I told that this was a final sale. We will never buy from this store again. There is nothing proprietary about these light bulbs, and they are readily available at a lesser price online, in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. I tried patronizing a local vendor in Thousand Oaks. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I guess that's what I get for trying to support local business. Never again for this store. Stay away.

A quick walk-in fixes that issue. The most common route to SoCal Gas may be taking Van Nuys and then parking in the residential streets. Note that there is metered (and 2-hour limit) for parking, BUT if you drive a little further in the residential area, parking is free! They are quite available on a weekday afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that LADWP was also in the same building. Without exaggeration, I was in and out within a few minutes! Note that they do require some documentation before they may start service, but that's all expected! The lady who helped me out was caring and even asked for information to check our qualifications for assistance programs.
