Saved me on a long holiday weekend and can't back to do recommended repairs. I even had time to shop around and they were still cheaper

Replaced my drain field quickly and professionally. I highly recommend. They beat all the other quotes I received and did a great job.

Alex and Bill were great. Bill made sure I was well informed on how to care and maintain for my septic tank. Great service.

Look no further for excellent plumbing. We had an issue with a master bathroom right after we moved…read moreinto our new home. We had several quotes all of which were very expensive and traditional (tearing out a brand new bathroom). Modern Plumbing came in with a creative idea and went through our laundry room to access the plumbing in the master and fixed it. They saved time and money. I cannot say enough about James and the team at Modern Plumbing. They will be our Plumbers from now on excellent excellent company!

I needed a simple toilet wax seal replacement, a half-hour job, but when Hunter pulled the toilet,…read morehe noticed standing water in the waste pipe. He asked if I had any backup issues. I had observed none recently. On further investigation, I did have a serious wastewater backup. I suspected that it was due to Comcast installing fiber optics in the neighborhood, drilling in the area of water/sewer pipes. So, the rest of the afternoon, Hunter worked with a camera and an auger to locate the blockage. He located it, but it was the lateral under my neighbor's driveway, which needed to be resolved by the utility company. Hunter asked me to let him know the outcome. It turned out to be a big deal. Indeed, the clay pipe was broken by Comcast's subcontractor drilling to install fiber duct. So, I knew there would be finger-pointing the like. I got it resolved, after a call to the PSC and a lot of back-and-forth. Sunshine Water sucked out the sewer and repaired the cracked pipe. I texted Hunter when the repair was complete, sending him photos of the cracked Clay pipe. I had shared his report with Sunshine Water, which gave them confidence in locating the break. This was very helpful because they couldn't get a camera in there due to the pipe being full of *(**&*&*. After I texted Hunter, he called me to ask how it went. I gave him the lowdown. In my long experience with home repair contractors and service companies, I have rarely encountered employees like Hunter. He left a job with loose ends beyond his control, but he cared enough about the job to want to know how it was resolved. Please thank him for me. And if I need plumbing services in the future, Modern Plumbing Industries is who I'll be dealing with. They're straight shooters, they communicate, they show up, and they have employees who give a damn. Thanks for staying family-owned!

I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your septic and plumbing needs. I contracted with…read moreBrownie's Septic & Plumbing (a subsidiary of Wind River Environmental) for a new septic system installation in Orlando, and the entire process was plagued by poor communication and back-office administrative failures. Customer Service & Communication: Trying to reach anyone locally is nearly impossible. Every phone number provided, including local ones, routes back to a centralized main call center. When I requested to speak with the local office directly, I was informed that local office numbers are not provided to customers. Furthermore, scheduling was highly unreliable. My installation was delayed multiple times due to jobs running long and equipment failure. I was never proactively notified about these delays; I had to call them each time to find out why crew members hadn't shown up. Installation Quality: The physical installation required a nitrogen-reducing tank with an electric pump. The initial placement left exposed PVC pipe and plastic tubing completely vulnerable to lawn equipment. To their credit, they did correct this once I pointed it out, but it required my oversight to ensure it was done safely. Billing and Grant Management Issues: This project qualified for an Orange County grant to offset the cost of the advanced system. From day one, I provided the necessary paperwork for them to file directly with the county. Despite this, I began receiving automated bills for the full amount before the job was even completed (while there was still a hole in my yard and before the final county inspection). After paying my agreed-upon portion, I continued to receive invoices for the balance that was supposed to be covered by the grant. I was repeatedly told by customer service that this was just an "automated process" and to ignore it. However, months later, the company has still not completed the administrative requirements to secure the funds from the county, and they have now initiated collections actions against me for the remaining balance. I have provided this company with every single document requested of me. Even their own collections team admitted that the grant payment process does not normally take this long. Save yourself the immense aggravation and find a company with a more reliable, organized back office.

**update** They followed up and came back out to the house…read moreand it seemed to be off to a potentially bad start but then the manager, Derick, who sounds like he was new to the company and was the reason they came back out in the first place spoke with me on the phone and insured everything was done properly. I'm very appreciative for Derick and his upstanding customer service. He's a great asset to the company and made sure we were satisfied. He really saved the whole experience with brownies. The toilet was fixed and resealed properly with a new wax ring after they appeared to reuse the same one the first time. Thank you, Derick and team for making things right!
