They basically told me the line was fine and that I was imagining the flood in my kitchen and laundry room. Because the job was under warranty, I finally called them back and said that I really needed them to fix the problem. Robert came out and quoted me an additional $22k to fix something in my slab. He used a sharpie to draw an X on my floor so he could remember the exact spot. Then he told me I needed to sign the contract right way. Obviously I didn't! He then lowered the price to $18.5k, but by then I had decided not to use prodigy, even though the work was under warranty. I called in called another company (actually 2) and not only did they inform me that Robert was dead wrong, but both plumbers ran cameras and showed me that the line had never been properly epoxied in the first place. Owner Mark refuses to return my call. I hope this review prompts him to reach out. My next step is the licensing board, then attorney. This would be so much easier if Mark would just call me!

He asked to call just to tell me that yep- it does vary and the reasons you can get what you pay for. I've been burned by plumbing in the past so I agreed to have him over and he came in 25 min! After explaining the drain issue with my upper bath/shower and me snaking it myself with cheap snakes, he informed me I was snaking the wrong drain. Instructed me and guided me on how to clear my own drain! I cleared my drain! With his instruction and he didn't charge me!! I of course still paid 1/3 of the quote as it's only fair he came here and helped me where I think anyone else would have cleared it, charged the full amount and probably tried to sell me something I didn't need. Jacob is a really good human, an honest human and in this day/age that's hard to find. I will definitely use him for anything in the future including remodel or anything bath/pipe/kitchen related; he is kind, super knowledgeable and generally wants people to be happy with his work. Thought about hiring "Plumbing Squad" but here's the State's position (ie, they were at least lazy, out of business, or too stoned to care about their license): "License is under suspension for the following reasons: License is under Contractors Bond Suspension. A contractor's bond may have been received by the Board but not yet processed. Once the bond is processed the suspension will be lifted retroactively to the effective date of the bond. Ask the contractor for proof of a contractor's bond and contact the bonding company to verify bond status." So I guess I'm not gonna hire them... but I'm guessing they'll present a defense. :-)
