    Misogynist bartender
    Carolyn D.

I came here last night and waited patiently at the bar to order like everyone else. It was busy but I was talking to the girl next to me who had arrived after me. We established that we would point out the other when one of the bartenders finally got to us. After 15 minutes, the bartender locked eyes with me so I gave a smile and wave to indicate I would like service. He waved back, fingers under the chin (à la Little Rascals) so I smiled and did it back. He then lifted up his shirt and showed his nipples, miming "show me your t***," while laughing about it with his coworker. I was there at the bar for 30 minutes when he got to us but he ignored us and took the orders of the group who literally just showed up. We had to wave and insist we had been waiting. He reluctantly took all our orders and repeated it back to us but only made the other party's drinks & went on to serve new customers, never even making ours. I came here to support a friend who was DJing but would not come back because of this experience . This is sexual harassment and he had zero remorse or professionalism. Don't waste your time or money. We left, without being served after nearly 40 minutes, even after ordering twice.

Loveee the pozole here and the vibes:)I got a small bowl and ended up ordering another one because it was so good!! Bartender CC is awesome too

Best experience at a downtown Fullerton bar!

I went in today, first time since it was Joe's. I wasn't sure how the place changed since the last time I went (quite some time ago). The bartender Yvette is 100% why I would go back!!! She was SOOO welcoming and had the best recommendations for drinks and food! AND she was the nicest, most attentive bartender I've had in a really long time! Service goes a long way and I will definitely be back literally because of her! I haven't been other times during the week or know the other bartenders but if they are anything like Yvette, this place is worth it anytime or any day!!! The food was also AMAZING!!!

    This one is personal !

A peek into Irish pub. This one is a bit personal. Gnasher, my puppy first mingle at the pub. And there's some peronal stuffs about this Irish pub. The town is very tiny and a lot of pubs around the corner. I usually end up here and it's remind me of Brooklyn dive bar. When I was young, I used to work in Dorian Gray Irish pub in East Village, NYC. Foods are ok and drinks are cheap. There's live music and grand piano as you see in the picture. I'll keep it by myself why this is more personal spot for me. Many bars around and I choose to be here. Packed in the weekend for sure.

This place is ok. It's a strange layout and the food is a lot of fried stuff. The drinks are fine. Service is ok.

The service was damn near as perfect as it gets, our waiter was awesome! The food was great, priced for the environment. Miso garlic noodles: They were good and the flavor was there. It's a healthy portion, be sure to save room for your main course! House spinach dip: The dip was PERFECT by itself! The bread was a fair addition, but I found myself not needing it. Rosemary's Chicken and Biscuits: A lot of great flavors on one plate. The vegetables were not my first choice, but they complimented the meal all around. The mashed potatoes went so well with that chicken. Steak special with Asparagus: The waiter described this steak plate as their nightly special. For the $60 it came with the steak, asparagus, and yellow mashed potatoes. Shame on me for not remembering the steak cut, but it was EXCELLENT. A true and real treat for meat eaters. After seeing the double Oklahoma smash burger at another table, I knew a revisit must be planned. So many great options on their menu! The chicken pot pie, pan roasted salmon, flat iron steak - and they have breakfast too. So much to try and only one life I have to live.

We ordered appetizers, meals, drinks, and dessert, so we were looking forward to a nice experience. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Everything looked good when it arrived, but the flavor just wasn't there. I ordered the honey chicken brie sandwich, and there was very little, if any, brie flavor. The bread was okay, but the sandwich had minimal greens and tomatoes and felt more like something you would get at a fast-food drive-through than a meal at a restaurant. The ice cream sundae was also terrible. Honestly, it was exactly what you would get from McDonald's. No fresh fruit, several peanuts and drizzle chocolate syrup with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For a restaurant serving a full meal, we expected much better quality and flavor. To make matters worse, while eating the fries, we discovered a huge, long hair embedded in the stack. We called the restaurant, and they immediately replaced them without any issue, which we appreciated. And our waitress was attentive. However, the service overall was very slow. It took quite a while to get our drinks and then our food. After we finished dessert, we sat for approximately 15 minutes talking with our family. At that point, a man approached our table. I initially thought he was coming to apologize or check on us regarding the hair, but instead, he told us they had a large party coming and wanted us to leave. That was extremely disappointing. We had already spent a considerable amount of time and money there, and we were not lingering excessively. A simple check-in about our experience or even an apology for the hair would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt rushed out the door. The food was underwhelming, the service was slow, and the way we were asked to leave left a terrible impression. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant I would recommend based on our experience.

We ordered the seafood sampler for an appetizer - those crab cakes are to die for! I even had the sashimi I'm pregnant and should be avoiding raw seafood but I couldn't help myself, it was so fresh and so good! Our salad and soup were amazing as well. Of course the star of the show was my husband's prime rib, a dish that they are known for. I had the John Dory dish and it was perfect! Such a mild flaky fish with the right amount of crunch - just wish I had more of the mango passion fruit relish, I could've eaten that by the spoonful alone. They were so kind and brought us a complimentary dessert which again was amazing. We left the restaurant fat and happy! We can't wait to go back!

Ordered a variety of shareables and appetizers. Starting from worst to best, I didn't like the popover. It felt too dense. I much rather had more of the sourdough bread basket! Amazing texture and taste! The escargot was ok, I liked the mac n cheese but I'm not sure if I appreciated the goodness of the bone marrow being buried in there. The brussel sprouts, creamed corn and creamed spinach were great! For the entrees, the John Dory was flaly and fresh but really disappointed with the sides. The mashed potatoes were tasteless, There was nothing wrong with the salsa but I didn't think it went well with the fish. I totally understand the prime rib being their star dish! It had an amazing velvety bite and perfect balance of meat to fat ratio, I would only come back for the prime rib.

They also have happy hour Tuesdays-Thursday from 2:00-5:30pm, where they offer house wines for $5 and personal cheese board for $10. For boards, I usually get the Goldilocks specialty board, which comes with 3 cheeses ranging in texture from soft to hard. For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. I've had the Signature which has a double-cream brie, pear slices, mixed greens, and fig jam. Lib Grilled Cheese comes with three premium cheese blend, grilled with olive oil, and minced garlic. All paninis are on their sourdough bread and served with their signature side salad. The decor here is very cute - showcasing their cheese fridge and shelves lined with wines and jams available for purchase. There are some tables both indoors and outside. I recently saw that they host events, offer quick same-day catering within 2-3 hours of ordering, and deliver for orders up to 50 people! Always coming back for their cheese boards and great happy hour!
