Good things about this place: large portions for reasonable prices Got the Bacon Cheese Burger, it was okay. The bacon was overcooked and dry, the burger itself was fine. Fries were hot & salty. Zucchini Fries however were just not it. They're cut in quarter slices, causing the them to be more like nugget shaped, meaning they're mushy unfortunately. The ranch had an odd taste so wasn't too thrilled about that. Overall I think a normal cheese burger, or maybe the guac burger and fries are the way to go. The service was reasonably paced and heads up they only take cash or Venmo. No card payments. read more

This was my first time eating here so it was a party of 3. We all had the big cheeseburger and shared a basket of fries and the fries are great. Everyone loved the burgers and i think its because the sauce is awesome. The patties are a bit on the thin side though i still got full. The menu is way bigger than i thought and prices are fair. This is a place I love to stop at before an Angel game. Last time I got the bbq grilled chicken sandwich I was surprised at how good this sandwich is, I recommend the onion rings over the fries, they are real good. Haven't been here in a while, but decided to stop by after watching my buddie's son play a hockey game down the street at Anaheim Ice. Prices are decent and the food is pretty tasty. I used to always get a burger and fries, but today opted for the double patty melt and onion rings. It was really greasy, but pretty good. This is a hidden gem that brings all the old-school vibes but also has over 20 TVs scattered around the place, which is perfect for watching any sports game! I came here to catch a World Series game, and not only did they have the game on all 20 of their tv's, but they also had the sound on. The food was exactly what we were craving, nothing fancy as you'd expect from diner food, but everything was hearty and hit the spot. We loved the bacon cheeseburgers (especially with ranch on the side). Everything was also so affordable so we couldn't stop there and ordered chili cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and two huge beers. They definitely do not skimp out here, because portions were massive. The service was also super friendly, quick, and attentive! Customer service has declined a lot late, I used enjoy watching angels games drinking a cold beer after work, sadly there is a waitress that has an attitude making your experience not so pleasant, they take long time to take your order, specially when seat outside in the patio, this waitress name is Sara, management needs to focus on improving customer service and be more selective when choosing staff, Kirsten you are missed! Worst Service ever! Came here on 04/26/25 around 5pm After our family Disney day, tried ordering through Drive Thru and after multiple attempts of trying to order 5 combos the Employee kept giving "smart remarks". Then after multiple attempts, I asked for his name, which he refused to give, I wanted to make sure the owner knows how his customers are being treated, Then When i went to the window, "Johan" the Manager still didnt give me the rude employees name and I explained to him that due to that Rude associate the Owner was losing our business, when i was about to place a pretty big order. I hope the managers and owner find out this incident and either train their employees and or make sure that they Change their "smart ass" attitude. Will not be coming back. Its nice to hear staff rolling over the tiles inside with a pleasant clacking sound. The hallway leading to the bathroom is lined with historical Angelo's photos and posters. You can see how Anaheim has changed over time and how long Angelo's has been an institution. Cheeseburger: All burgers are charbroiled so if you like Carls Jr or Burger King's taste you'll like it here. It has a nice home-made or backyard BBQ quality to it that feels more small-batch and less "manufactured" like franchise fast food. Fishburger: This was great with plenty of lettuce and tomatoes, the bread was not too thick and felt more balanced with vegetables instead of just tartar sauce. Quite an interesting place. The drive thru is a bit difficult to get in and they only have 2 options to pay which is with 1) Cash or 2) Venmo. I got an order of Chilli Cheese Fries and a Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was SO delicious, will definitely be getting more of those from there. The Chilli Cheese Fries were a bit of a let down, lack of fries and the chilli was incredibly oily, so much so when I came home my brown bag was stained with oil and got on my shirt. I would not order those again nor would I recommend them. Service was great, there was a young man who helped me and assured I had all condiments (jalapeños, napkins, ketchup), he was very helpful and kind. Visited this place yesterday because I usually go to the Angelo's off Westminster. The food was great but the service killed it for me. Both waitresses need to work on there people skills. The first waitress I asked if they have any high chairs for my baby. She said yes and pointed in the direction of where they are. Not a big deal but would of been cool if she would of brought it to our table. The second waitress was the one who took our order. My wife repeated twice that she wanted onion rings and the waitress told her I heard you. Not a great way to respond to your customers. Then when we got our order she gave my wife her burger but with fries and our niece onion rings. I thought you heard my wife say it twice that's why you said I heard you? Instead of the waitress apologizing she tried to say that she heard my niece order onion rings when she clearly didn't. My wife and my niece had to switch their baskets and the waitress said that's easier because we would have to wait more time for the right order. Very bad service from that waitress. This is an old school hamburger joint in Anaheim that has been around for a long time. Back in the day. You can pull up outside and waitresses in roller skates and come up to your car and take your order and bring the food to you. You can't do that any longer, but the waitress inside is still wearing roller skates. We went with, tried and true, chili cheese fries to split and a cheeseburger and a pastrami sandwich. Washed it down with some delicious diet. Pepsi we skipped the beer this time as we were a little bit crusty from the weekend. If you're in this part of Anaheim, definitely give this a try.
