The perfect game day food! A must stop, whenever I spot the tats truck at Ounces in West Seattle ( check schedule for locations and times). They are super friendly and have quick service. Tatstami is extremely flavorful, where the coleslaw goes well with the thin sliced pastrami. Philly Cheesesteak is also a great choice with sweet pepper. Ask for the steak sauce.

Got a chance to eat at Tat's truck in West Seattle near best of hands brewery on Saturday. Ordered their Italian Pork Roast and philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The philly cheesesteak was phenomenal while their italian pork roast was okay. The hot sauce was also good and it did add additional flavors to the sandwiches. Service was quick, food was good prices were reasonable, portions were huge. All in all value for money.

Tat's Truck is in downtown Bellevue on Tuesdays, which makes the FOMO of kickass Seattle food less prominent. I visited at noon, which warranted an impressive line that seemed long, but moved along at a good pace. From entering the line, to receiving my food, the wait time was just under 15 minutes. The employees were very friendly, and once you order, the wait for your food is very short. In fact, there were only about five people in the second line for food. Now let's talk about food... I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was all sorts of amazing. I'm not a peppers fan, so I omitted that from my order but kept the yummy onions. The portion size is large, meat generous, and overall was a fantastic sandwich. $11.50 for a full and happy belly is well worth the price. Next time I'll have to try their pastrami sandwich.

Authentic east coast, from the bread to the meat to the lettuce. Legit. Fast and friendly, highly recommended.

Hey YO, for all you knuckle heads that think Philly is the epicenter for all things cheesesteak, well think again! I've been to Geno's , Pat's & Tony Luke's in Philly so Frank knows his cheesesteaks. Now I decided to give these guys a chance so I strolled up to THE FOOD TRUCK for a taste today. At lunch time on the streets of Seattle you can stand 30 people deep in line but it goes fast and most of those folks are taking about themselves I tune them out just thinking about that giant delicious cheese steak about to hit my lip's. Same rules apply here like in Philly and that's know what you want prior or face the wrath.... Let's face it you have time to review the menu while standing in line. Avoiding the stupid questions helps the order taking and a person like and avoids you getting stink eye from the other cheesesteak worshipers waiting to order. Especially me who wants to brain you for being dumb. FRANKS usual standard order is the Philly Steak with extra provolone cheese & sautéed onions ( if you screw this up you should close your shop )  Now I have very high expectations and TAT's TRUCK didn't fail me. My cheese steak was superb. Moist & bursting with flavor and steaming hot so make sure you let it cool down before the roof of your mouth becomes part of your meal. Let's face it when you combine the freshest & finest quality of bread, steak , sautéed onions with cheese then you get the master piece served here. Bring that statue of Rocky Balboa in Philly and place it outside your truck in front of the new church of cheesesteaks! Let the Cheesesteak do the talking!!!

Seriously, I think the Philly Cheesesteak from Tat's is the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Every aspect of it is phenomenal. The bread is soft and fluffy, the steak is perfectly cooked, the onions and peppers are cooked perfectly, and the cheese is soo good. If you haven't tried this, you need to. I thought the old Paseo made the best sandwich in Seattle before, but now that crown most definitely belongs to Tat's.

    Tat'strami Sandwich ($10.50)

Tat's Truck is the food truck offshoot of the popular Pioneer Square deli of the same name. The truck has regular workday lunch stops in Bellevue, Downtown Seattle, SoDo and South Lake Union during the week. I have had food from this truck a couple times as I frequent their South Lake Union (9th and Harrison) location on Mondays. I haven't visited Tat's (deli or truck) before, but I was very aware of their reputation. They are known for their Philly cheesesteaks and pastrami sandwiches which are both available at the truck, which also offers hoagie sandwiches as well. Perhaps it was my luck, but I haven't encountered much of a line when I got a sandwich here. I have been able to quickly get my food here to take back to my office to eat. Thus far I have tried their Philly cheesesteak and tat'strami which are both priced at $10.50 which includes tax. I enjoyed both sandwiches very much. The Philly cheesesteak for nostalgic reasons as it reminds me of my time going to college in Pennsylvania. The version here tastes like the ones I had then. As for the tat'strami, the meat is tender and easy to bite into with a nice Russian dressing on top. The only knock on these sandwiches are that they don't seem like they are made to order. They are warm, rather than hot. It seems like a batch are made the same time as I have gotten my sandwiches almost right away every time I have been here. Still I will gladly come here for my Tat's fix as opposed to waiting in a long line as you can expect if you go to the Pioneer Square storefront location.

Hair in the pretty bland turkey hoagie.

Ordered an Italian hoagie which is always sold out then was told the person before me got the last one. I settled for a cold turkey hoagie. They did compensate me with a free soda and chips which I appreciate, but not only was the sandwich bland and tasteless- it had a hair in it. I give it 2 stars because their chicken cheese steaks are decent. They always sell out of their Italian before noon so I don't get why they don't bring a few more.

I finally tried Tat's, and it was awweeeesome! My friend and I spotted the truck after we went to the Sounders game, as it was conveniently located outside CenturyLink (perfect for drunk fans, in need of food). I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak as was recommended by the cashier, and my friend had the Pastrami, the other sandwich recommended by the cashier. He did not disappoint us, as both of our sandwiches were yummy! It's on a baguette which is a footlong. The Phily Cheesesteak had tons of meat, caramelized onions and peppers and cheeeeeese. It's easy to split, too, since it's a heavy sandwich. I also tried my friend's Pastrami, which was very good. It had slices of yummy pastrami, mustard and cole slaw. Although hers was awesome, I dug mine more!

So yum! So BIG! Too big Haha! Please consider a smaller size option? :) The best chicken Philly ever! Seriously hands down delicious! So yum yum! First time I visited you I had the Philly cheese steak! Wowie! Spectacular stuff! The steak sauce is incredible. You should consider bottling it..wait...do you?? The Philly chicken..with the steak sauce...shear adoration all on this side of the table for lunch today ;) See you again!

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that. If you want to venture beyond a pastrami sandwich, I highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. While I normally opt for beef when it comes to cheesesteaks, Tat's actually isn't amazing but their chicken one is. So get that instead. In short, this is tied with Dingfelders for the best sandwich in Seattle. Pay it a visit and bring your appetite.
