My son brought me here for Mother's Day lunch, and it was a pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The laminated menus were clean and easy to read. After giving our drink order for refillable sodas and spicy tuna roll, we took a moment to take in the colorful decor. There are no less than four lucky cats waving to patrons constantly. I love spicy tuna rolls, and I loved the presentation. The ginger was rolled into a rose and the Wasabi a tiny flower. The roll was fresh and crunchy. We both got the Steak and Shrimp Habachi with fried rice and white sauce. The steak was cut up in tiny pieces and over cooked, no pink. The shrimp was large and tasty. I finally decided to bring the family to this establishment. This was my hidden gym for sushi. I never knew they had so many other offers. For example, I didn't know Wednesday was 55+ discounts on food. We had my mother-in-law with us, too. She lucked out on a good deal. Customer service was amazing and so patient . The establishment was nice and cozy. The food orders were quick. I ordered three sushi rolls. California roll: definitely different than your normal Cali roll. The imitation crab is minced some compared to just getting a crab stick whole. It was still delicious even on the second day, too. White tempura fish roll: perfect roll in every way possible for me. The only thing missing that I would recommend is the tempura flakes on top . Chicken tempura roll: Yes, I know it's not the normal roll you expect. It's why I gave it a try. It was similar to the white tempura fish but a slight difference in flavor. Now, some other dishes the family had was the steak on the hot rock. The fired rice was to die for. It was so nicely seasoned with light green scallions and scrambled eggs. A literal party in your mouth. The steak was tender and seasoned like salt Bae paid a visit just to season our steaks personally. Of course, the cucumber spicy salad was the chefs kiss to us. We went by the area and decided to stop by. This establishment, according to the manager, opened about 8 months ago. Their name gave us a hint that it's a steak and sushi, but their steaks are cooked on a stone, sizziling at the table. We tried a few sushi rolls and dumplings for appetizers. We had 2 combo, Prime Rib and Shrimp and Filet Mignon and Lobster, and a Sashimi Boat. A few Saporo beers. The bill came out less expensive than I anticipated. Great service. read more

Upon entering, the restaurant feels small yet cozy and with cute little lights giving the atmosphere good for couples and small family! The owner; Helen was very sweet and attentive! All the staff are friendly and polite. We ordered from the kids menu chicken and noodles for my son! He got a cute little ducky that comes with the meal it was delicious btw. For 7.99, it was a good deal! I order 1 sushi roll because I love sushi and it didn't disappoint! I'm a picky sushi eater and the sushi tasted fresh and packed with flavors. I usually eat sushi with eel sauce but this time I didn't even need my eel sauce! I ordered New York strip with noodles and my husband ordered rib eye with shrimp and fried rice! My husband and I went during lunch for a lunch date. It's small and cute inside. The food was very fresh, but not what we were expecting. I was expecting onions, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and zucchini in my veggie hibachi but it was an extreme amount of carrots and an ok amount broccoli. My husbands sushi was just ok. We both had garden salad and it was fresh. It was quick service and the food came out quickly as well. I would try it again to taste other items. We tried this restaurant in Apopka for my birthday Eve because it looked good and we wanted to support local. The restaurant is very small and we opted to sit outside as the weather was lovely. Jorge R was our server and I'm not sure if he was just new to serving or having an off day but sadly he was not very good. It just seemed like he felt awkward around us or something, although we are pretty nice and not PIAs. Another thing that was odd was that although they had saki the drink menu was very small. Not a lot of choices for wine. We ordered the gyoza appetizer and I ended up going with a dragon roll and my my husband got the steak. My roll was really good, but I was totally jealous of his steak- it was REALLY good. But the server brought my roll out first, then later the gyoza and steak. It was really odd. The gyoza was super tasty, though. We were all excited for dessert and it turned out all they had was ice cream. We were disappointed and just ended up getting ice cream from our hotel. Why pay extra? The food we got was really good, but the awkward service, out of order delivery of food, and lack of drink and dessert options brought the stars down. Passionity was on a my friend's recommended list and, luckily, I was in the area after a good afternoon bike ride to grab some late lunch. The decorations and layout of the restaurant gives a friendly and cozy atmosphere. The music was lively. The owners and the waitress were very attentive. Literally, they both took their time to go over the menu with my friend and I - explaining everything in full details. My friend and I ended up ordering calamari as an appetizer, a set of Nigiri and Sashimi which includes a lot of fresh salmon and tuna pieces and two sushi rolls (Passionity specialty roll and Eel to Eel roll). The plating presentation was out of this world - very exquisite and elegant similar to those at a high-end restaurant. The fried calamari was very crunchy to each bite, the fishes were extremely fresh and clean, and the hot sake really enhances the flavor. Overall, my friend and I had a wonderful time at Passonity. Not big, but no big. Inside clean and inviting. Our server? She was amazing. Very attentive and answered all our questions. We both went with the lunch specials. Myself? Two rolls, him the hibachi steak and chicken with noodles. My sushi? Pretty basic but great. Spicy tuna roll and their crispy roll. Next time? Full on tuna roll as it was perfect. For the lunch special around 6 roll choices. Both of us got a small salad to start. I asked him his rating on his steak and chicken and he said 4 stars. I tried a bite and tell you the sauce was king. For me? I like a lot of wasabi. I ask for extra. Our server kinda forgot, but quickly brought me much more. Food? Great. Value? My meal price? Easily the same as almost any fast food (12.99 for entree) but so much better! Two people- food, sake and a beer and coke? About 40 dollars. Fresh and delicious. I'd certainly visit again! We try to support our local businesses every weekend by not dining at chain restaurants and visiting local owned small businesses.  We really wanted to like this place as one of our favorite sushi restaurants, Hatsuhana,  closed about the same time this one opened in the same vicinity. One of the owners was assisting in taking our order, and she got us off on the wrong foot from the start.  We asked if they had Uni, and she said no "because it had to be served fresh."  OK, we  were sitting right in front of the sushi that the sushi chef was making, so that comment didn't leave a good taste in our mouths as we'd like to assume everything they serve is fresh. Next, we asked her what the grilled vegetables were that day, and she replied, "Broccoli and onions."  OK, not much of a veggie selection, so we skipped over those. How about the wings?  The waitress asked if we wanted "mild, medium or hot?"   So, I mentioned that the menu had 2 that looked interesting (garlic teriyaki, mild, and a kimchi).  So, thinking the kimchi might be interesting but not wanting hot, I asked for a little of each of those 2 on the side with the wings.  The owner heard this and said "no, you can only have one sauce."  So, we went with the garlic teriyaki which came on the side (actually a relatively large container in the middle of the wings), and it was quite good.  I'm not sure what it would have hurt to let us try the kimchi as it sounded interesting, and we'd have been happy to have received less of the teriyaki if that is what it would take. We also ordered the Tuna Negiri to start and after repeatedly inquiring on it's whereabouts as the other food came out, it eventually showed up as the last item served.  The real topper on the visit was when the owner walked past the table as we were eating and we could swear she said "that's a lot of food, be careful or you'll get fat!'   We think she was kidding!?!??  Anyway, the food was OK, not sure why the Sashimi Set was served on top of ice but our guess is that is how they "serve it fresh?" read more

I was excited to try this place but after eating there my family of 4 suffered from food poisoning. We spent the evening with fevers, stomach pains and multiple trips to bathroom. We did not eat anything out of the norm or raw. We all ordered various sushi and hibachi dishes. The sushi I ordered had barely any seafood in it was mostly avocado. It was like they cut the shrimp into four pieces lengthwise and put only the one piece. The eel sushi tasted very bland. And not worth the price!! The color of the wasabi was not the normal green. And the noodles and rice were too oily. Also they have a special pricing between 5-6. We were seated 5:45pm. But did not get to place our order until 2-3 mins after 6 pm. So before I even attempt to eat my takeout, I just paid for 2 classic rolls. I am a party of 1 and was charged a "large party" gratuity of 18% in addition to a take out gratuity of 5% and a packing fee of 5%. They are catching me on the right day because on principle, I should be walking my tail back in there for a refund on my gratuities. Even if it is good, they already left a bad taste in my mouth. The gentleman who took my order was quick and said it would take 20 minutes and it only took 10-15. They have a cute patio area where I sat and waited for my food. The inside is very small and smoky. I would only eat outside or takeout. I'll update my review after I eat. I've eaten. The presentation of the food was nice. I ordered two classic roles.The sushi was good, not the best I had, but good. I am not sure I will return because the cashier only explained my bill after I asked for the breakdown since it seemed high. I don't like deceptive practices. My advice- don't overcharge people. I drove almost 1 hour to try this restaurant because I saw some reviews on social media. When I arrived, I was invited to sit without waiting, the space is also small. I want to sit outside, because the inside is full of smoke. I ordered 4 dishes (chicken wings, sashimi, poke bowl & filet mignon +. lobster). Chicken wings came out first but its still cold inside, then salmon sashimi but it has ice in the middle, poke bowls are okay to eat. I waited more than 15 minutes after the first dish & the waitress came out and said no more lobsters tail, I was ok and then waited for another 20 minutes, the owner came out and said that there was no more filet mignon because they counted it wrong and blamed it on the waitress. They should have informed me at first, not let me wait for over 40 minutes and then run out and say the food I ordered was no longer available. what an unprofessional service...Very bad bad experience & waste of time., I will never come back again. read more
