    Tree hugger veggie taco
    Tammy W.

This is the hands down best taco spot and i'm so disappointed i didn't know sooner !! Location is great and ambiance is fun with indoor and outdoor seating-closed at our visit today due to a vehicle ran into the patio recently but otherwise it usually has outdoor area....there is a bar now that includes liquor and the most varieties and tastiest combinations!!! I got the chimichurri and the jerk chicken tacos.I ate one taco while it was hot and the other i ate about four hours later and they were both spectacular! The service is great with fairly fast turn around even with how busy they stay....the tacos are tasty with great flavor combinations -jerk chicken served with plantain and avocado is perfectly spicy with fresh tortillas and salsa ...these tacos are very filling !!Get here for your next taco craving they also have burgers and bowls but i haven't tried them but will!

We had a Jimmy Hulas in downtown orlando which sadly closed after Covid Decided to try this location and it is amazing! Loveeeee the outdoor seating with the fountain and plants! So cute Staff was very friendly and attentive too Food is delicious, got the jimichurri and the Baja tacos with drink chips and guac for $20 Price increased a lot but I guess it's just our new reality Make sure you try their gnarlic sauce ( you can get by the fountain drink machine) Will definitely be back

Just want to say the positives. Customer service is 5/5! The flavors are good on the chimichurri bowl. However, the fish taco I ordered was underwhelming. It was super greasy and lacked flavor. The side of Guac was tiny and I think it was $5. It was better than I expected. The chimichurri bowl had so much rice and a tiny amount of steak.

Baja bowl Why is there so much water in bottom of bowl?

Gave this place a second try after 8 years. Floor at least not sticky this time. I had a Baja Bowl with romaine instead of rice. Why is there so much water in the bottom of the bowl?

First time here, cannot wait to be back! Jimmy Hula's offers a variety of tacos, burgers, bowls, salads, kids menu, loaded fries, and more! The staff was sweet and friendly, they were checking up on us even though it's an order at the front and sit down restaurant. They have a beautiful patio area with fans. Order the jimichurri steak bowl!!!! You won't regret it. The flavors were all there and the way the cotija cheese, cilantro, rice, beans, and steak mixed together was mouth watering. The aloha burger was overpowered with pineapple in my opinion. The fries and sweet plantains were fresh off the frier and crispy!! I can tell they use fresh ingredients. I would say, I feel that the place would work better as a sit-down restaurant with servers attending the tables. I feel that it would make it more group-friendly but that's my opinion.

We were surprised the price of the burgers are still under $10. That's good news. We sat outside and enjoyed the courtyard feel with the water fountain and plants surrounding the patio. Our burger was messy to eat, but so good.

We came in for lunch and had a nice experience. Service was fast. The outdoor patio area is really pretty and has plenty of seating. I got the Zion Bowl and a side of truffle parm fries. My bowl was good with lots of protein and sauce. The fries were well seasoned and came with a good dipping sauce. This is a good spot to hang out and enjoy good food.

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 Hands down the best fast casual taco dining experience in Orlando. We had been driving past this place for months before we finally decided that it was time to give it a try. When we first entered we were amazed by the beautiful decor and the tropical plants. We felt like we were at an exotic island restaurant. Their menu is pretty large with a ton of options. The employees were very helpful, and made some pretty solid recommendations. Thus far, I have had many of their tacos, many of their burgers, and even a burrito. I have loved every single thing they've made, but my absolute favorite is the kahuna burger. The burger just tastes amazing. To make thing even better they serve Hawaiian beer. I've tried most of their fry combos and all cooked perfectly. My favorite is definitely the truffle parm fries. Overall, this place was WAY more than what we were expecting. It's kind of hard to believe that fast food and beer can taste that good. Also, the tropical ambiance is a huge bonus. This is our go to restaurant now when we are craving tacos.

We love this place and so does our kids! From the tacos, bowls, burgers and kids meals it's always consistent and always good. My favorite sauce is voodoo and I love the fish tacos! There's a large seating area inside and outside and a fun area for kids to hang and play, including giant Jenga! It's fully accessible, lots of parking, everyone's nice and they serve beer!

I loved everything about this experience. Staff is friendly, vibe was cool and the food was so delicious. So much flavor in the tacos and fries. I wish I was hungry still because I wanted to order more. Gotta try the blackened fish tacos.

We came last night to Jimmy Hulas to switch it up and it reminded of how much we like eating on the patio. Their tacos are great with a ton of options from Tacos to Bowls to Burgers and Burritos. They also have great kids menu options as well. We sat outside on the bench and could watch our kids play out front on the patio. It has Jenf's and some cool chairs for them to play without bothering other guests. They are fast casual and the people there are always nice.

2 Taco Combo-jimmichurri taco and the taco of the month
    Bonnie G.

Ok so this was my first time at Jimmy Hulas...WOW! I had their taco of the month which had chorizo and seasoned potatoes and it was SO FREAKING GOOD! And then the Jimmichurri-also SO FREAKING GOOD! My husband got Primo Fish Sandwich and truffle fries. I am a taco lover and I'm very open minded when it comes to the type of tacos, they don't have to be traditional. The outside was cool, very tropical vibe and relaxed. The flavors of their sauces are really good too. Can't wait to go back and try all the different tacos.

Everyone received their starters, the blonde waitress asked if I wanted one as well. When I said yes, she responded with "bro, it's not going to be free," which made the interaction very awkward for everyone at the table since I never even asked for the starter in the first place and was just very unprofessional. Later, one of my friends received shrimp tempura that was translucent, raw, and slimy in the middle. When we politely mentioned it, both the waitress and host repeatedly questioned whether we were sure it was raw. At one point the waitress even asked something along the lines of "so do you want this for free or something?" which felt accusatory and uncomfortable. We're familiar with tempura/sushi dishes in general and understand that something can be fried on the outside but still undercooked inside. The repeated doubt came across as dismissive and a bit condescending. She also said she would "pray" for one of my friends which was a very strange and off-putting comment in that situation. It just felt like she was doubting us and in general it made us feel bad for even bringing it up in the first place. The item did end up being comped, which we appreciated, but that didn't change the interaction we had or the comments that were made. We weren't there trying to get free items, so the assumptions and tone from our server made the whole situation feel uncomfortable and strange. Overall, we did enjoy the food, but the service made the dinner uncomfortable and left us feeling judged rather than welcomed. Since I've had good experiences here in the past, I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future guests have a better experience.

But here lately there has been a huge lacking in service, and quality of said service. Tonight there might have been 2, maybe 3 servers and one of those was new. There was 2.5 hours before the restaurant closes and BAM out of nowhere 2 of the 3 servers started slinging wet towels to wipe down tables and moving napkin holder and chairs like their life depended on it. The two servers even had "up to the elbow" gloves on like they were going into surgery. They started dropping the blind and shifting the little table drink signs all in one group on a table like it was a "you just walked in but hey, were closing". We couldn't get drink refills, they didn't take any used plates, but they stayed busy doing something, just not dealing with the customer tables in the restaurant. While the food was ok, there is a large question about cleanliness. After they started cleaning put our table and wanting to sweep under our table while we were still eating we decided the one plate wad enough. We went to the restrooms to wash up and that was a nightmare! Both of the men's and ladies room look liked they had been hit by a hurricane, a month ago. The stalls were.. dirty, not usable by.. the looks of.. yeah. The floors were stained, the sinks had rubber hoses attached to the faucet to force the water to exit directly into the drain giving you maybe 1"and half to put your hands between and wash. While that reduces water from splash and getting everywhere, you are also going to hit that sharp part of the hose or the bottom of the sink where everyone else has hit their hands trying to wash.. So, even through they are two different rooms, if they cannot clean the bathrooms right, then how clean is the kitchen that they are making all of this food in?

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience.
