The food was horrible. The rice was crunchy. And not just a little from the bottom of the pot, it was in multiple servings. You'll also see in the picture how the tiny frozen bag shrimp looks and tasted uncooked. I was sick after eating. Literally went straight to the toilet. I believe the shrimp did it. The cashier/server was incredibly kind and polite. I'm only giving 3 stars, because I've dined at another location multiple times, even with delivery and loved it. So, this may have been an off day.

This is the hands down best taco spot and i'm so disappointed i didn't know sooner !! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location is great and ambiance is fun with indoor and outdoor seating-closed at our visit today due to a vehicle ran into the patio recently but otherwise it usually has outdoor area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]...there is a bar now that includes liquor and the most varieties and tastiest combinations!!! I got the chimichurri and the jerk chicken tacos.I ate one taco while it was hot and the other i ate about four hours later and they were both spectacular! The service is great with fairly fast turn around even with how busy they stay....the tacos are tasty with great flavor combinations -jerk chicken served with plantain and avocado is perfectly spicy with fresh tortillas and salsa ...these tacos are very filling !!Get here for your next taco craving they also have burgers and bowls but i haven't tried them but will!

We had a Jimmy Hulas in downtown orlando which sadly closed after Covid [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decided to try this location and it is amazing! Loveeeee the outdoor seating with the fountain and plants! So cute[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was very friendly and attentive too Food is delicious, got the jimichurri and the Baja tacos with drink chips and guac for $20 Price increased a lot but I guess it's just our new reality Make sure you try their gnarlic sauce ( you can get by the fountain drink machine) Will definitely be back

Just want to say the positives. Customer service is 5/5! The flavors are good on the chimichurri bowl. However, the fish taco I ordered was underwhelming. It was super greasy and lacked flavor. The side of Guac was tiny and I think it was $5. It was better than I expected. The chimichurri bowl had so much rice and a tiny amount of steak.

Gave this place a second try after 8 years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Floor at least not sticky this time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a Baja Bowl with romaine instead of rice. Why is there so much water in the bottom of the bowl?

First time here, cannot wait to be back! Jimmy Hula's offers a variety of tacos, burgers, bowls, salads, kids menu, loaded fries, and more! The staff was sweet and friendly, they were checking up on us even though it's an order at the front and sit down restaurant. They have a beautiful patio area with fans. Order the jimichurri steak bowl!!!! You won't regret it. The flavors were all there and the way the cotija cheese, cilantro, rice, beans, and steak mixed together was mouth watering. The aloha burger was overpowered with pineapple in my opinion. The fries and sweet plantains were fresh off the frier and crispy!! I can tell they use fresh ingredients. I would say, I feel that the place would work better as a sit-down restaurant with servers attending the tables. I feel that it would make it more group-friendly but that's my opinion.

We were surprised the price of the burgers are still under $10. That's good news. We sat outside and enjoyed the courtyard feel with the water fountain and plants surrounding the patio. Our burger was messy to eat, but so good.

We came in for lunch and had a nice experience. Service was fast. The outdoor patio area is really pretty and has plenty of seating. I got the Zion Bowl and a side of truffle parm fries. My bowl was good with lots of protein and sauce. The fries were well seasoned and came with a good dipping sauce. This is a good spot to hang out and enjoy good food.

SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 5 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5 Hands down the best fast casual taco dining experience in Orlando. We had been driving past this place for months before we finally decided that it was time to give it a try. When we first entered we were amazed by the beautiful decor and the tropical plants. We felt like we were at an exotic island restaurant. Their menu is pretty large with a ton of options. The employees were very helpful, and made some pretty solid recommendations. Thus far, I have had many of their tacos, many of their burgers, and even a burrito. I have loved every single thing they've made, but my absolute favorite is the kahuna burger. The burger just tastes amazing. To make thing even better they serve Hawaiian beer. I've tried most of their fry combos and all cooked perfectly. My favorite is definitely the truffle parm fries. Overall, this place was WAY more than what we were expecting. It's kind of hard to believe that fast food and beer can taste that good. Also, the tropical ambiance is a huge bonus. This is our go to restaurant now when we are craving tacos.

We love this place and so does our kids! From the tacos, bowls, burgers and kids meals it's always consistent and always good. My favorite sauce is voodoo and I love the fish tacos! There's a large seating area inside and outside and a fun area for kids to hang and play, including giant Jenga! It's fully accessible, lots of parking, everyone's nice and they serve beer!

I loved everything about this experience. Staff is friendly, vibe was cool and the food was so delicious. So much flavor in the tacos and fries. I wish I was hungry still because I wanted to order more. Gotta try the blackened fish tacos.

Unfortunately, one customer service policy completely ruined what could have been a perfect dinner. We got there just before the dinner rush, so we expected a wait. My husband and I both worked in the restaurant industry for years. We know what it's like when the kitchen gets slammed, and we had absolutely no problem being patient. About 30 minutes later, our food came out, but we were missing two pieces of octopus sushi and the freshly ground wasabi we paid extra for. We told the food runner right away. We didn't think it was a big deal. These types of mistakes happen all the time at restaurants. About 10 minutes later, the wasabi showed up, but still no octopus. We asked again and were told it was coming. Another 15 minutes went by. We were really enjoying everything else, so we figured we'd order another roll while we waited. Over the next 20 minutes, several employees stopped by our table to ask how everything was, and every single time we mentioned we were still waiting on part of our order. That's when one of the servers explained that the missing octopus had gone to the back of the sushi line and we'd have to wait our turn because that was their policy. I'm sorry... what? This wasn't something we decided to add later. It was part of our original order that never made it to the table. A mistake should never go to the back of the line. The part that really didn't make sense was that the second roll (the one we ordered 25 minutes later) came out BEFORE the missing octopus. So if everything is truly made in the order it's received, how did that happen? After working in restaurants for so many years, I can honestly say I've never seen a place handle a missed item this way. If part of an order gets forgotten, you make it immediately and complete the table's meal. You don't tell the customer to keep waiting while every new order gets made first. At that point, we didn't even care about the octopus anymore. It was the principle of it. Instead of simply fixing the mistake, we were expected to accept it, and when we questioned it, we were basically told, "That's our policy." Maybe the waitress forgot to ring it in. Maybe management really does expect forgotten items to go to the back of the line. I honestly don't know which is true, but neither one is a great answer. It's such a shame because the food really was excellent. We walked in excited to find a new favorite sushi restaurant. We walked out disappointed, not because of the missing octopus, but because of how the situation was handled.

The place has a couple pre-made options as well as a build your own bowl. It's $13.99 and you can get two bases (white rice/forbidden rice (an apparently healthier rice thats black)/spring greens), two protein, 6 toppings, 2 sauces, 3 crunchies and 2 spicy add ons included in the $13.99. You fill out a little paper and they make it for you. It did take awhile for the lady to build our bowls but I guess since it isn't Chipotle-style where you point at what you want, it makes sense. You can walk around the meat and cheese market for a bit while you wait though. However, if you're not there for meat or cheese, there's not much else to look at except a small collection of sauces, crackers and drinks that you can get at a regular grocery store. The bowl was a good size honestly. The container they give it in is a little large so it looked lacking when we picked it up but it actually contained a good amount. I think the most commendable aspect is that they give a lot of fish/protein. The poke isn't bad. I got the sriracha mayo and garlic sauce on my bowl and I think they paired well enough. The forbidden rice isn't bad either. I got both the white rice and forbidden rice and they taste almost the same tbh. The veggies are fresh and refreshing. Overall, not a bad bowl of poke.

For the first time we visited them at their Gatlin Hall Brewing location and it was delightful! They had a special fish tip with toasted pita that was on point. And my poke bowl was loaded with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Another win is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so we could enjoy our bowls fresh... no need to tote them home. The service was great and fast... and he did a beautiful job constructing our bowls. The only reason I can give them 5 stars is because it's located inside a brewery that feels like a bar and it's not an elevated experience. Don't really love eating with single use plastic and a pub table. So go for the food and don't worry about the ambiance!
