ETA: Honestly, I'm disappointed in the owners response. If you're able to reply with exactly what happened that there was a big order then the worker knows exactly what happened and when. Kind of fishy, sounds like they knew they turned their back to me. I was ignored not once but three times. I think it's great you try to stand up for your employees but you're also totally ignoring what your customer said and gaslighting them. You're making excuses as an owner. The employee avoided my eye contact and stood facing the blenders or coffee maker with their back to me. Again not once but several times. If she had a big order she could have said so and we could have come back. It's also not sanitary to not have hair pulled back while making food. Original review: The ice cream was fine but the customer service was horrible. Probably the worst service I've had in years. If you're apathetic about your job I get it but please don't be rude or ignore me. The place had several customers come and go but it was only one customer at a time. It wasn't super busy and there was never a line. The lady working faced the blenders or coffee makers the whole time. She refused to acknowledge us until after she made three smoothies. I thought about ordering a coffee but didn't want to be ignored again. My kid had to go to the bathroom and we needed the code. I went to the counter and was literally ignored again she literally wouldn't even look at me which is why I didn't order anything else. I don't know if this lady was having a bad day but she was so rude I felt compelled to write a review... I really do try to let things go and not be petty but it was bad. I gave up asking her for the code to the bathroom and went to the hair salon across from the place to get the code which is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to bother another business.. Why is there not a little sign with the bathroom code in the restaurant? It would help a lot. Why not consider letting people grab cups with a sign with instructions and pricing instead of having to wait through three smoothies being blended? People could grab their ice cream then pay instead of waiting. I could have let my kids grab their ice cream and then sit and eat while I paid instead of having to have toddlers wait forever. read more

This place was horrible and the tables and location was filthy. They only have a very limited selection of ice cream and all the flavors were pretty gross. The table for the toppings was dirty and when I asked the young man to clean a table so we could sit he only wiped down the top and didn't notice it had ice cream all over the seats and the floor. I ended up having to clean this myself And when I went to toss the paper towel in the garbage I missed. I was going to go back and pick it up and put it in the garbage but the young guy walked over and got the paper and gave me a really dirty look and tossed it in the can. Very welcoming staff and wonderful samples. It is a great spot to stop and refresh after working up a sweat on the sloops. They left a lasting impression of joy! This is a perfect spot to warm up with hot chocolate and crepes after visiting the ice castle. If you're a cold a person, you can enjoy their ice cream, froyo, and shakes. So glad this place was open late. It's located in a building with other businesses, so if you are not visiting any of the other places, you may not realize it is even hidden in here. Many different tables of toppings to choose from for your yogurt. After choosing your size cup (which is how you pay, not by weight, ) you grab your cup, fill it up with whatever flavors you like, and then add the toppings. The coffee here is amazing!! Before Covid, the shop always had plenty of people, during the ice castles they'd provide hot cocoa and coffee. Now, after Covid, as with all businesses, traffic is slow. In the ice cream business, it's bad after 3 days. So they have decided to not have as many flavors so as to not waste so much. The new owners came in 8 months ago and I can honestly say, THEY ARE AMAZING!! The ice cream, yogurt and toppings are plentiful and great flavor options. They have so much more than frozen treats. This is an interesting FroYo place as they let you have unlimited toppings and FroYo/soft serve as long as it fits in your container. I stuffed mine way too much of toppings that I forgot I even had a frozen treat inside. Also topped some more soft server on top of all the toppings. Came in on a cold evening after touring the ice castles. We only wanted two coffees, one for me and one for my mother who is diabetic. I was seeking advice on a non sweetened coffee from one of the young girls from the crew, when she walked away mid speech. Weird. They struggled, while it seemed that they never had used the equipment before. We were the only two people waiting for an order. We ordered 2 Oreo Cameez with vegan froyo and waited 20 minutes watching numerous people who were behind us get their orders. I finally went back to the counter and the cashier said "didn't Jeremy come talk to you?" Apparently the froyo had to be replaced and dethaw. They told me it'd be 5 more minutes. We waited anitheir 10-15 minutes and we finally went back up to the cashier to get a refund. They were nice and offered us 2 free froyo in the future, but we live out of town. We found this place on Google Maps! So we decided to go and visit from Keystone on Independence day! When we got there the owner greeted us and explained that they do it by size not by weight. That was very cool as I didn't have to baby sit my 6 year old as much in making her cup! Then we were sitting next to the shop and the owner saw we had brought a small thing of diary free ice cream for our infant. She was super nice and let us know they just started carrying dairy free frozen yogurt! That was great news as next time we won't have to pack in stuff for the baby! Over priced for what it is. Sure they don't charge based on how much it weighs, but when 2 ice creams cost you $15, it's a little bit crazy. Compared to other similar places, there were not as much Flavors to choose from, and only a few were marked as frozen yogurt. Fruit was not fresh and was drenched in syrup. Lots of candy and chocolate options, very few healthier toppings to choose from. If this is your first time with this kind of setup I can see how it would warrant a high rating.
