This is such a gem! The portions are huge!! We both went in so hungry. We analyzed their menu and we were both going to order our own item. Very last minute we decided, let's just split the 3 piece fish and chips and get a side of jalapeno poppers! I am so glad we split it!!! The 3 pieces of fish were ginormous! The lady was helping us find a table because the place was packed. She brought us an extra stool too to wait outside! It's so cute in there, makes you feel like you're in England! This place needs to stay in business forever

Been meaning to stop by to try their fish and chips. Let me say, easy to find street parking. The menu is very simple and short. We ordered: Fish (2 ) with chips and Chicken (2) with chips. We also ordered onion rings to share. Wow. Big pieces of fish and chicken. Good. Both the fish and chicken were not dry or salty. The chips were crunchy not soggy at all. We would definitely come back to have more fish and chicken. Thank you.

Nice spot on a cold day, which is pretty much most days here lol. The plates were huge and served hot, which I love. It however lacked flavor and crispiness. Service was very good. Even though it's small with limited seating, they were great at accommodating our group of 6.

3.5 rounded up to 4. It's alright. Is the food on par with typical fish and chip places in England? No, but the pub decor is nice. I like the mini wooden barrels that the condiments and the napkins and silverware are placed in. I'm not sure why people were raving about the krab cake. It's imitation krab. It's not good or worth the stomach space in my opinion. I wasn't paying attention when my partner suggested we order it. I would rather the two pieces of fish combo in the future. The fish they use is okay. The fried sausage was a deep fried sausage. Not the tastiest sausage but the friedness was novel. The fries are solid. Slightly thick, a bit soft, but still crispy on the edges. Everything was freshly fried and served hot. The batter they use for the fish is different than the onion rings. I thought that the onion rings would use a wet beer batter on them but they were breaded, like bread crumb breaded. My favorite item was the fried mars bar for dessert. The beer that was recommended to me was half Guinness and half cider and it was refreshing to drink. They need to re-write the sign by the door. About 1/3 of the people get confused. One of the servers gets mad at people who wait politely by the door especially when the restaurant is full because they don't know whether to wait to get seated or to go all the way to the bar to ask for a seat and order. Instead of welcoming customers and letting them know that they'll be next to get seated or if there are people in front of them, she sternly said something like "You need to go to the front to order first before you can get a table." Well, that's kind of out of the norm and what is the front? The front door? Or is it the back of the restaurant near the bar? She meant the bar. Luckily we had a different server and she was nice.

    Combination- fish, crab cake, fries

I remember coming here with my family when I was younger and it was not how I remember it. $54 for 2 combinations, which contained 1 fish, 1 crab cake, and fries. The fish was okay but the batter on the fish was bland and not as crispy as it used to be, even slightly falling off. The fries are unsalted and very dry. Of course everything is fried but everything was quite heavy/ full of oil. You order at the register and it's then delivered to your table. The place is quite small and I noticed some waiting for tables. This place has been here for forever but in my opinion there are other more affordable and tastier fish and chip spots.

I can't believe this was my first time at Camelot and not my last! I went on a Friday at around 1:30pm it was packed and we got the last table. Then a larger line built, wow I got a root beer on tap! It was refreshing and I got the Camelot special with everything in it. Yummy oysters, big chuck of fish, loved the shrimps. I usually like skinny fries but these were different, it had a nice creamy baked potato texture in the middle, which liked. It was perfect fried basket of goodness.

Camelot is a classic English-style restaurant with a very small, cozy interior -- about eight small tables and two bar seats. The atmosphere and decor are great and really sell the pub feel. You order at the counter and then sit, which works well given how busy it gets. A lot of people call in orders, and the place fills up quickly, but the food comes out fast and people tend to rotate through at a steady pace. It's a very simple menu with about seven protein choices, all done in the same classic fish-and-chips style, which keeps things easy and efficient. They do a proper Guinness pour, along with a few other solid beer options. The fish is Icelandic pollock -- not local, which I was hoping for -- but it is the traditional English pub choice. It's wild-caught, sustainable, and honestly a good quality fish even if it's not local.

    Not recommend

Good fish and chip but the crab cake was disappointing This was my first time trying this place, and I came based on my uncle's recommendation since he's local. I'm glad I gave it a try! The deep-fried fish was actually really good, juicy, and nicely fried. Definitely the highlight of my meal. Unfortunately, the crab cake was a disappointment. For $20, I expected real crab cake, but it was imitation crab. At that price, I don't think it was worth it. I would definitely come back for the fried fish, but I'd skip the crab cake next time.

Came in for dinner last night while staying in Pacifica. It's a teeny tiny little pub and it filled up really quick shortly after we got there. The service was good- order/pay at the counter and they bring it out to you when ready. I ordered fish and chips and fried clams and all of it was great! The fish was crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. I really enjoyed the fries also, nice crisp on the outside and fluffy inside.

Such a cute spot, nice pub with date night lighting. Really enjoyed the fish it was hot and crispy, the fries were solid, but the fish was the star here.

    Half fish n chips.

Wonderful little place with great fish n beer selection is top notch. Highly recommend you stop in if you are nearby.

Visit 7/4/2025 at 1:30pm Overall rating for fish and chips: 3.25 stars Camelot Fish & Chips has been on my list of spots for fish and chips! Place is small and only has 6 tables with a few window seating. So if plan on dining in, put your name on the wait list and expect a 10-15min wait during peak hours. No outdoor seating. I opted to take my order to go and graze in my car as I was taking a short break from visiting a relative at the rehab center nearby. If your first time, order/pay at the counter and wait outside for about 10 mins. Someone will come out and let you know when ready. Fish (pollock) was flaky, cooked perfectly with a light, crunchy exterior I expect from a delicious fish and chips. Sadly, the "chips" or fries were oddly DRY, spongy with no crisp at all. It wasn't due to take out as I dug into those fries while hot. Reheating them later would just make them drier...and I rarely leave a potato behind. Will definitely try them again as they have clam strips and fried mushrooms that I would get next time. Possibly the dry fries was just a bad day...Limited bottled beer and deep-fried Twinkies and Mars bar available Staff friendly and efficient. Pricing for 2pc fish and chips: $21 incl tax. Plenty of street and lot parking across the street

The ambiance was beautiful, with piano music during our Saturday visit and thoughtfully tiered seating that gives everyone a great view of the ocean. We started with complimentary bread and butter, which was good, but the Caesar salad was the standout. The sourdough croutons made it especially delicious. A definite 5/5! We tried both the steak frites and the New York steak. Both were cooked exactly as ordered, wonderfully juicy, and had a smoky flavor that took them to the next level. Another 5/5. We finished with a complimentary birthday cake, along with coffee and tea, which was a lovely way to end the meal. The service was excellent throughout. We were lucky enough to sit facing the water, and having a live piano player during our visit made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere alone makes this place worth checking out. We ordered the peach burrata, corn bisque, Oysters Rockefeller, steak frites, and mango crème brûlée. The peach burrata and corn bisque were great, and the steak was cooked and prepared really well. I normally don't use sauce on my steaks, but this one felt like it was missing a little something. I would've loved a different sauce or accompaniment to bring everything together. The fries, however, were phenomenal, and the mango crème brûlée was a great way to finish the meal. The Oysters Rockefeller were probably the only real disappointment. They weren't bad, but we've definitely had better elsewhere, so they didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. For drinks, we started with a dirty martini and the house Manhattan, then asked our server, Daniel, for a recommendation. He suggested the Old Fashioned, and that ended up being the winner of the night! We liked it enough to order a few more. Daniel was attentive, friendly, and provided great service throughout the evening. Between the oceanfront view, live piano, cocktails, food, and service, we had a really enjoyable first experience. It may have taken us eight years to finally stop in, but I'm glad we did. We'll definitely be back, especially for that Old Fashioned, those fries, and the view!

One of my favorite things was that the lobster was pre-nipped and cut to make it easier to get to the meat and they also included a seafood cracker tool as well!
