    prime rib $35
    Jeff H.

Definitely a locals spot for old people. Sharp Park Restaurant is not on any restaurant guides. That's the charm of it for me. There aren't a lot of these places left. The bar was full and no one was in the dining room. Empty at 6:30pm. The prime rib $35 (Fri/Sat only) comes with either soup or salad. Only Fridays will have the clam chowder. The warm bread is so good here. I love the generous butter tray. The soft butter spreads so easily over the warm bread. Instead of the baked potato, I always get the garlic fries at no extra charge. The prime rib is OK, a bit chewy and not aged or herb crusted. I had a hard time finishing it as it got tedious after a few bites. It tasted too plain and needed the au jus and horseradish to be edible. You figure the service would be better as I'm the only food customer. No. The waitress was talking to some customers at the bar most of the time. My water didn't arrive until after my food after I asked for it again. Regardless, she is a long time employee and I'll cut her some slack. Most of the time, she knows what I will order before I say it. I didn't see her elementary school aged daughter hanging out tonight. Sometimes she will wait on tables for her mom, bringing water, extra napkins etc. That's so cute.

We love the restaurant at Sharp Park! We have had several dishes over the years but tonight my golf foursome split two huge Bavarian Pretzels with two sauces - a hot mustard and a sour cream. These Pretzels are so good, I'm bringing my wife back here to try them. They are that good! Beers on tap are always fresh and the service is always warm and friendly.

Can you see how burned it is?

Is there a new owner of this restaurant ? Food, food, food has to improve. Since the beginning of this year, a place we have depended on for excellent quality of food and preparation of it has completely failed. Order a Ribeye and get a flank steak, order it rare and get it well done...order meatloaf and get it grilled to burned, dry meatloaf?!?! Vegetables have no flavor, mashed potatoes are watery and chunky I really want this place to succeed we don't have many good places in Pacifica, but I don't know how they're going to if this is their new business model I'm not talking about one day I am speaking now about three months of a complete change in for the absolute worst

I don't want to tell anyone about this place because I like it just the way it is. Other places it seems like you go into and you're not comfortable, here I am completely different from any other. High vaulted ceiling. Cozy, old school feel. Which new restaurants cannot do. They attempted it but to no luck . Ordered the prime rib, soup and side of fries. Vegetable came with meal. Fries were crispy and creamy in the center. Prime rib was definitely on point. Horseradish sauce was a bit creamy but did its job. Au just came on the side. Meat was done perfectly medium rare. Great meal for the value of $35 plus tip.

We rewarded ourselves with lunch following a very muddy golf game today. Revised menu reflecting a 20% price increase across the board. This hasn't prevented people from eating here. After all price increases are the norm in the Bay Area over the last year or so. There's a daily special menu posted on the whiteboard as you enter the restaurant to your left. And also at your table. Today hubby went with the roast leg of lamb with mashed potato and sautéed mix veggies. Believe it or not I ordered something I've never had here. The roast beef dip sandwich. How do I want the meat? I said medium rare. It was a very generous sandwich. The bread was like a brioche bun but oval shaped. The meat was stacked high. Dipped into the au jus. Yum Yum. Choice of fries, coleslaw, potato, or mixed green salad. Menu offerings include breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and lunch plates. My go to usually is the cheeseburger, the patty melt, or the Reuben. Our friends ordered the cheeseburger, the roast leg of lamb special, and the chicken parmigian special. Diners include both golfers and non golfers. Next time I have lunch here I might try the roast beef dip sandwich again.

    French dip

The French dip is the best great service a bit loud u get to watch the golf players it's amazing.

This is the best prime rib deal in town. For $31 you can get a prime rib Dinner with all the trimmings. Clam chowder soup or salad, prime rib, baked potato and veggies. We came here on a Friday evening and got the prime rib and the rib eye dinner at $30. What a deal. We were Happy campers.

Bren ages since I was last here. Used to be our go to place for special occasions or just a good ol' inexpensive prime rib dinner. Made reservations for my dad's birthday. Appreciated that they accommodated our large party. Pros - Staff were friendly, work hard, and attentive. Warm bread and butter served. All dinner entrees come with choice of soup or salad, vegetables, and choice of a potatoe (mashed, baked or French fries). Portions were generous and large. Cons - Unfortunately, despite how good the food looked, we all had a similar complaint - the food lacked flavor. My prime rib was a tad on the too rare side so it was placed under the broiler for just a bit but returned too cooked (very little pink). Big slice of meat served with au just and horseradish, but still no flavor. Kiddo said yhe fried chicken was hot and crispy, but the meat was dry. Don't know what happened, and so sad to rate it this way. Cream of spinach soup was good, especially with the warm bread but that's about it.

Bar area was a little run down as well as the club house but was a chill golf course. Food takes a while and prices were ok to be honest.

Mmm. We were recommended that this is the best restaurant in town. Not sure that's true but it was quite good. Had lunch today (6 May 21) and enjoyed the old comfortable restaurant. Very 60s-ish inside and really needs updating of decor. Despite the oldness of the place, the service was great as was the food. Other than canned refried beans with my wife's carnitas, everything was excellent. I had pot roast which was great. $25 for two good sized meals! Give this place a try. I'm glad we did.

A successful return to delicious inside dining! If you didn't know already Sharp Park Restaurant at the golf course in Pacifica is open again for inside dining. Their first day was last weekend on April 11th 2021. Sheila provided excellent service. The kitchen provided breakfast plate perfection. Mother Nature provided a beautifully sunny day with just a bit of fog out away from the coastal course. The plate was a basic Two Eggs Sunnyside Up, Hash Browns, Bacon soft, and Rye toast. Along with some Earl Grey Tea and water. Maybe not exactly healthy for the body. But it sure was soul satisfying. Tables were all clean. So were the dishes and silver. Masks were on. Social distancing provided. Sanitizer was available. The open window next to the table made for a pleasurable light breeze on this warm, by Pacifica standards, day. Free WiFi for easy connected internet. Good price for breakfast in the area since it was only $14.2o before the tip. Billion dollar view with a warm crew too. A great way to have some afternoon breakfast on a lazy Sunday. I totally recommend Sharp Park Restaurant for a weekend breakfast or lunch. Yes , the bar is open too!

My husband, a decorated disabled veteran, and I spent nearly $400 over back-to-back nights here for our anniversary, and it was a thoroughly demoralizing experience. When a business takes $100s and rewards you with condescending staff, hostile management, and an owner, Jason, who lacks basic accountability, the public needs to be warned. THE FIRST NIGHT: EXPLOITATION AND LAZINESS ($200 Cash) Our happy hour visit was completely ruined by our server, Manuel, whose attitude was remarkably condescending and dismissive. He repeatedly mishandled our drink orders and completely abandoned our table. Worse, we ordered oysters specifically for the advertised premium dry ice presentation. Manuel flat-out refused to perform it. My disabled husband with limited movement was forced to reach across the table and conduct the dry ice presentation himself just so we could experience what we paid for. The usual ambient live pianist was entirely absent, leaving the room dead and obnoxious (check the background noise from both videos from each night). When confronted, the manager, John, brushed it off, handed us a card, cheekly told us to email him next time to "work something out." THE SECOND NIGHT: DISRESPECT AND DECEIT ($170 Debit Card) We foolishly trusted management and returned the next night for dinner, expecting redemption. Instead, we were treated with open disrespect by our server, Sonya. We ordered the cioppino, which arrived in a hot heavy iron pot. The kitchen severely shorted the portions, giving us exactly two crab legs each with zero knuckles included (see attached photo). When we politely asked Sonya for help portioning it, she completely refused with a hostile attitude. Later, she picked up our unfinished calamari in its greasy metal cup, shook it aggressively in front of our faces, and condescendingly offered the last scraps instead of clearing the table like a professional. THE ETHICAL BREAKDOWN OF MANAGEMENT & OWNERSHIP When we approached John again to explain how both nights were ruined, he became instantly defensive. Despite knowing it was our milestone anniversary, his insulting solution for two nights of miserable service and a $370 tab was a single free piece of cake and granting us a table with views like we asked for originally. We attempted to handle this privately and professionally by emailing the executive chef and owner, Jason Yeafoli. Instead of showing leadership, Jason completely protected his defensive staff, backed John's insulting "free dessert" offer, and refused to issue a refund. BUT, he did this all without looking over the visual evidence (pictures and videos). Incompetently the FOLLOWING day of the complaint Jason immediately requested access to see the pictures and videos as if he didn't look at them to begin... This establishment will happily take your money, treat you like a nuisance, and then insult your intelligence when you ask for basic standards. They do not care about quality, they do not care about customers, and they certainly do not care about disabled veterans. Do not let them ruin your weekend the way they ruined our anniversary.

I've worked in a restaurant for nearly half my life and I can honestly tell that it takes quite the effort to uphold a level of cleanliness and consistency especially given the fact that they've been there for over 30 years.
