02.20.23 less than a mile walk from the Bayside Marketplace
    May A.

Sightseeing Pass - Miami After making a full round trip on The Big Bus tour from our starting point (Bayside Marketplace) we walked less than a mile (0.7) to Camila's Restaurant. It didn't seem that far of a walk but when you're under the hot sun and a humid February weather in Miami it was a long walk. Upon our arrival we checked in with the hostess and presented our Sightseeing Pass. No issues (unlike the Big Bus tour). She immediately showed us the buffet counter and said that drinks and desserts were included in the deal. Sweet!! We feasted our eyes on the home style Brazilian buffet offerings. I love Brazilian food! They had 14 types of salads but I skipped the salad bar and went straight for the real food LoL! There was chicken, fish, meats, lots of sides, natural juices and of course, delicious desserts. I'm not able to repeat the items on the buffet menu but everything I got on my plate was delectable. If we ever return to Miami I'm going straight here. The staff were friendly and amazing. They served/refilled the drinks and cleared our dirty plates from our table often. Our Sightseeing Pass gave us an All-You-Can-Eat buffet at Camilla's Restaurant, otherwise, buffet price per person is $27 (I asked a server) which is still not bad for an AYCE. Delicious food and great first time experience. Review #2887

I'm glad This was one of the place my wife picked with the tour package we have. This was ideal place in downtown Miami away from the crazy Biscayne. At the end o of our hop on hop off tour, and prior to hopping on our first boat tour. We had lunch here. It's about 3/4 of a mile from bayside market place which is busy. The food is Brazilian style. All you can eat but I packed it in one plate . Rice, black beans , veggies , pork , chicken and steak. Unlimited refills. I was full after. It was well worth that walk.

Bright and clean decent Buffet that will fill you up. They have ala carte and different Buffett options Service is decent sometimes great sometimes great. Parking is typical downtown Miami nightmare but if you're walking it's a great stop.

Outstanding and Authentic Brazilian food, fairly portioned. I ordered the grilled Top Sirloin: 2 slices of grilled top sirloin, grilled to perfection, served with farofa, French fries and vinaigrette. With a side of black beans and an order of 10 mini coxinhas. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

We are desperately searching for something to eat. Something not overly expensive and bougie, something more locale and not all overpriced and uppity. We just happen to walk upon this place and boy we are so grateful that we did. We ate a ton of food here everything was amazing, if you're not a Buffay person then don't stop. But if you love delicious food and like a variety of different things including dessert! Then this is a great place for you to stop at

Thank you Camila's, Always improving and finding ways to make their customers happy and I'm a damn happy one and that all because of the food and quality I receive over and over and I do order a lot here. I used to order the Salmon a lot but the Bacalhau is my favorite and if you haven't tried it out yet, you should, just know it's only on Fridays. See you tomorrow.

10/27/2015 There is churrasco. That is all that matters!! Well I am learning Portuguese and my teacher told me that this place was great so I tried it and I loved it. This is buffet style so you can eat as much as you want for $14.99. However, drinks are not included. I thought it was a great deal though. First round I got salad, rice and beans, yuca, and churrasco. Wow it was so delicious. The Chrurrasco was very good good. The beans were so flavorful. My goodness. Now that is what I call authentic brazilian cuisuine. I had to get some more Churrasco so I went for a second round. This time I didn't get salad. I got rice and beans, yuca, this other beef dish (not sure of the name), and more churrasco!! It was great once again. The only think that was ok was the beef thing. I had no idea what it was, but it had an odd taste. For dessert, they have so many options like rice pudding, mouse de maracuja, mouse de chocolate, and more. I got the chocolate mousse and wish I got a second cup. It was very delicious and sweet! This place is huge and you can come with all your friends and have some Churrasco and Arroz e feijao! Very casual and nothing fancy. And if you want to practice your Portuguese, there are so many Brazilians here. I definitely recommend coming here if you had a light breakfast or no breakfast at all. It really makes no sense to come here and get one plate for $14.99. But if you want to, go for it! I could barely get up after eating. I'm okay now :p Bom apetite!

    Chicken stroganoff and Guaraná soda

Ordered from Camila's Restaurant while busy working from home. The order arrived earlier than expected, which is always good, and at perfect temperature, which is always a plus! This chicken stroganoff was on point. Very good flavor. The fries give a special flavor to the whole combo. If you order from here, I highly recommend you complete your Brazilian experience with a can of Guaraná soda.

I dine at Fogo de Chão about once a month back home in Georgia, so I already had high expectations, but the level of service here truly exceeded anything I've experienced before. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Manager Sergio was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran seamlessly throughout our visit. It's clear he takes great pride in his team and the guest experience. Our server, Manuel, was top-notch--professional, friendly, and always one step ahead of our needs. Brandon also stood out with his attentiveness and positive energy, consistently checking in and ensuring we were well taken care of. And Marisabel at the cashier was the perfect finishing touch--warm, efficient, and genuinely kind. The food was just as impressive as the service. The meats were flavorful, well-seasoned, and perfectly prepared. What really stood out was how accommodating the gaucho chefs were when they learned that I prefer my cuts a bit more well done. Without hesitation, they made sure to bring options cooked exactly to my liking, which made the experience feel personalized and thoughtful. Overall, this location sets a new standard. Between the exceptional service, the high-quality food, and the attention to detail, this Miami Beach Fogo de Chão delivers an experience that goes above and beyond. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town--and honestly, I wish my home location in Georgia could match this level of excellence! Fyi: They will be relocating to Lincoln!

From there you could barely hear the TV, which made it hard to follow the match or enjoy the experience. The set menu was also a disappointment. I understand it came out to about $55ish per person, but what you actually receive is very minimal: two chicken sliders, a shared charcuterie board with strangers, shared slices of picanha with strangers, and a shared bowl of pão de queijo and two drinks (I don't drink). It felt like because we were seated at the bar and not in the main dining area, we didn't really get the full experience. On multiple occasions staff mentioned they were "so busy," which I understand, but we were consistently told this while waiting for items that never fully came or were delayed. That's not something guests should have to absorb when the issue is seating and organization.

We made reservations in advance for dinner and arrived 30 minutes early and were warmly greeted by restaurant staff and seated us at a table within a few minutes. The restaurant is truly beautiful and has amazing decor and live musicians as well. We were seated near the windows, but they also have really cool patio seating overlooking the bay and the Virgin Cruise port. We were warmly greeted by our server and she offered to answer any questions we had on the menu and provided her favorite selections as well. We started with a carafe of red sangria to share for the table ($39) and then ordered the Croquetas Jamon Serrano ($13) and the Mushroom Croquetas ($14). Each had 4 or 5 pieces per order and OMG they were all absolutely outstanding and fresh! You have to order the croquettes, and we're used to having some great Cuban food as we've lived in Miami for more than 15 years now and dine out frequently. For entrees, we all ordered different options, and everyone loved their dishes! I had the Local Fish of the Day (Snapper) for $38 and OMG it was very fresh and an amazing catch and very flavorful and the portion size was perfect! I also really loved the coconut rice and black eyed pea curry. Service and food are all outstanding and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the Bayside area!

Wanting to try a Cubano in Miami while waiting to board a cruise ship at the nearby Port of Miami,…read moreI chose La Canita Bayside because it was close to the Port (not walkable though), having a well reviewed Cubano on its menu. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious, but for one sandwich entree and one appetizer for lunch, it ended up $64.80 out the door. A bit steep. Located on the second floor of the Bayside Marketplace outdoor mall, La Canita Bayside is one of three locations around the Miami area. The elevator that the signs were pointing to, was out of order so a bit difficult for cruisers with luggage. It opened at 11 am, and my brother and I were one of the first ones in. We had our choice of indoor seats. We asked for tap water, which was constantly kept refilled by Mayra, our perceptive server. We split two dishes: conch fritters ($17) and the Cuban experience ($33) - a combination of a Cuban sandwich, glazed deep fried pork belly, and fried yuka (a sandwich by itself was not offered). My brother loved the glazed pork belly (chicharrones), but prefers his Cuban sandwich more time on the sandwich press, to create that melded experience. I loved the 4 pieces of hush puppy looking fritters, served piping hot with a large number of conch pieces mixed in with the spicy batter. I liked the sandwich as well, but wouldn't rank it in the upper half on my list. There is a mandatory 20% service charge for all size parties, which was clearly indicated on the menu. It's an 8% sales tax. It could be argued that high prices should be expected for this area, but the mall itself is no longer considered a top destination in Miami. I do think the atmosphere would be completely different at nighttime and/or the weekend. Maybe have a lunch priced menu when the space is like a normal restaurant, to attract more folks.
