The birds and ducks are always cute so that is one plus. There is supposed to be a walking trail, but I tried walking it a couple of times to find it quite short and not much of a trail. There is a playground as well, but I have no experience with that part of the pond. And if you sit at the benches near the parking lot, chances you'll catch second hand cigarette smoke from the old guys who sit in their cars all day most days.

Tx to the many of individuals, Staff and sponsors who serve there and Volunteers for this 2025 international monumental event. They each get 5 stars. Police, Military, Army Golden Parachute Jumpers , Troopers , Security, First Aid including a Mother's station and the great transportation people, (tx Suzanne) restaurants and kind people making things work. Maps both physical and QRs. Beautiful well kept grass and a crew keeping the place clean. Bravo to Citi Bank for their golf activities- Put Put and Vertual - phone Charger stations, a real Bar, places to sit and AC and photo shot spot. Thumbs up to the hard working volunteers at Delaware Patillon Restaurant C-9 , so many diligently work behind the scenes and runners to put lunch foods and drinks out for the many visitor's coming to this event.( see pix)

Unkempt and outdated with disparaged stuffed toys replicating the taxidermy animals in glass cases. The only living beings are treated as specimens in dingy cramped aquariums. The desperation of the water turtles causes anguish to witness. No natural light to speak of. To think they are a few glass doors away from their natural habitat and they can't get out. The lethargy from the staff is equally disturbing as they sit behind the desk with these poor creatures just feet away. Have we learned nothing from Finding Nemo for goodness sake? Shut this place down please for the sake of stewardship of all creatures big and small.

It is in a really peaceful area and there isn't much noise from the road. there are benches spread around the park and a bunch of pretty trees. As the name suggests, the park has a big pond and area surrounding it. There aren't really any paths in the park which is a little difficult for when it is muddy. There are also a lot of goose droppings covering essentially the entire park. I guess a path would make up for this but maybe extra pick up is needed. It was like walking through a minefield.

Your field by the refreshment stands and the bathroom needs ALOT of work. The dirt was blowing all over in the wind as the dirt is so dry and has not been watered. Dirt needs to be harrowed and watered and taken care of . There are huge wholes in the batters box and catchers position that need to be filled in and harrowed and flattened down. Came here on a Saturday for my employer's charity softball tournament. Our team played against…read moremany other employers, and this park totally delivered for the occasion! With three softball fields, it's basically built for tournaments and pick-up games. Parking was a breeze--lots right by each field, and since it was after Labor Day, no parking fee (pro tip: fees kick back in on Memorial Day). We set up a BBQ and picnic next to the first field. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches, plus some coal grills. But fair warning: the grills are pretty rough, so if you're serious about grilling, definitely bring your own. The softball area itself is perfect for family gatherings, company outings, or just a fun weekend with friends. Good energy, lots of space, and an easy setup for hanging out while cheering on a game. Can't speak for the rest of the park, but this section is definitely a win.
