    Dog came home with diarrhea

Do not go here if you want people who will actually take care of your dog! My golden got sick in his cage and got poop all over himself and camp bow wow rinsed him off but wanted to add on at least an additional $30 for an actual bath so I received my dog smelling of poop after a long trip back home. They nickle and dime you for everything. The base price is basically just for their cage and them feeding the dog. They don't play with the dogs and barely ever pay attention to them without charging extra money and are always asking if you want to add on extras. True people who care about animals wouldn't act this way for dog care! Now my dog is sick at home because of this place and is having diarrhea and throwing up. It may look clean but I wonder how much disinfectant is actually used because they just use a mop to wipe up the dog area.

My Dog Dutch had a wonderful session. We had the FURminator Bath & Brushout.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted and noticed how clean it smelled and looked inside. I chose the FURminator Bath & Brushout. My mini Aussie loved it! Daniel did an AMAZING job. He knew exactly how to set the tone for a successful session. Daniel apparently is also a trainer. I saw from the moment he engaged with Dutch he was in good hands. Dutch had his nails done and did fantastic. As you can see Dutch was so happy! I love that I was not required to sign up for a monthly fee/treatment and can come as needed when needed. Making it budget friendly for me. Having this little Gem near my work is a bonus and definitely recommend! I also found out that they have Day care and overnight camp which is a game changer as they have live cameras that I can watch my dog if desired which makes me feel better about leaving him in the future. It's peace of mind.

Just picked up our girl from Camp Bow Wow

Our family had to head out, across country to Florida for a family reunion. Unfortunately we were not able to bring our 5 month old pup. We had visited Camp Bow Wow previously to get our friendly Chocolate Lab socialized and recognized how patient and caring the team was. They mentioned they had boarding capabilities and were able to watch our girl. We just returned from our trip and our girl did not want to leave. We will be using Camp Bow Wow in the future, and could not recommend them enough. Thank you Camp Bow Wow.

Holly after boarding at Camp Bow Wow. No explanation of what happened.

This pandemic and the immediate changes to everyday life have been quite impactful for many of us. And for a business which relies on people dropping off their fur kids on the way to work, one can only imagine the repercussions! Brian has kept the daycare open throughout the pandemic, as a resource for essential workers, as well as those of us who rely on some socializing and exercise for our pups during the week. The staff has been wearing masks, requiring masks, meeting dogs at the door to limit contact. And keeping the facility sanitary and safe. All while coping with the flux in staffing and scheduling. The facility remains clean, safe, and in fact has been upgraded in several areas to help keep the play area cool, "fresh" and comfortable for both dogs and staff. I encourage pet parents who have been clients to please keep supporting Brian and his team. And if you are new pet parents, or new to the area, please consider Buster & Lilly's for your fur baby's needs. They are terrific!

Several years ago, I brought my dog here for daycare. During one drop-off, as I was about to drive off, he was able to bolt out of the facility and ran across the parking lot (in the dark!). Thankfully, a passerby caught him quickly and he was not injured, but this raised serious concerns about supervision and containment during handoff. After that incident, I continued bringing him back to use up pre-paid passes. From that point on, he always refused to leave the car-which made me concerned. Staff later told me he had developed a humping habit and said that if it continued, he would not be able to return. This was difficult to reconcile with what we experienced elsewhere. After we finished our passes, we used another daycare in Beaverton, where he had no issues. Since then, we've moved states a few times and gone to multiple other daycares in different locations, and he has consistently done well without any behavioral concerns. I understand that staff and policies can change over time, so this may not reflect the current operation. However, I think it's important to share past experiences related to safety and how dogs are handled following a stressful incident.

My aussie got her first heat cycle at 8 months and I was told she was allowed back in a few weeks once her cycle was complete. She was attending day care and training sessions a couple times a week. Unfortunately, I had some other personal matters come up and will be moving so I asked for a refund. They will not offer a refund on services and offered store credit instead. Okay, fine. I scheduled a weekend boarding to use up my remaining credit and I get a text this morning asking if my dog was spayed, if not she was not allowed to return. I understand the need for the policy but I was never made aware and was told previously by a staff member it was not necessary. I am not in a position to get her spayed right now, plus I am moving states next month. They still refuse to offer a refund of nearly $300. That is a good chunk of money that apparently they intend to keep. Doesn't matter that store credit never expires, I will not be able to use it. They made a mistake with lack of employee knowledge on policies and refuse to right their mistake and now stealing my money. This is wrong. I was emailing the owner back and forth and I am disappointed with their handling of this situation. I had my dog groomed and bathed on 2 separate occasions and she came back with mats and not dried properly. Some staff members were very standoffish and unwelcoming at drop off. There is no access to cameras and I was denied access to the facility to see where my precious pup would be. I do not recommend this facility.

Their computers were down when I dropped her off. I called later that day to remind them. She may have had 1 outside time for 10 min in the 54 hours she was there. The last 31 hours she didn't get to leave her kennel except for her meal. When we got home she urinated longer than I ever say her do that and had massive amounts of poo. Clearly she was only allowed to relieve herself in the area she slept. She received no attention (again I asked twice). She was so wound up and agitated when we got home. This is not a place that loves dogs but a jail. We picked this place because it has a wonderful play area. Don't be fooled. You have to pay for any attention you want your dog to have. Petting $4, pee outside $5, etc. I was willing to pay, no one was willing to give my dog attention. She came home looking like someone spilled coffee on her. Their excise for not giving her play time was she was being picked up that day (play time is in the morning, I made it back just before closing.), so 9 hours. I missed play time when I dropped her off at 8:30am. If you're looking for a prison for puppies, this is the place. If you're looking for a place to nurture your dog when you're out, keep driving. This is inhumane .

I was afraid to leave him alone and I was at my whits end. Then Tamara saved the day. I sent my "little" anxious boy to her and he came back a big brave boy. We did a 4 week board and train with her and it was worth every penny. He is like a completely different dog now. He can relax now both inside the house as well as out on adventures now. Now every time he wants to panic, he looks to me first, and he see's that I am fine and settles right down. Honestly I have been recommending Tamara to everyone I can. She was beyond patient with both my little anxiety pup, as well as with me (texting her almost daily to check in). The fact that she made a custom training plan just around his special anxiety needs was amazing. Since he came home he has been a dream. We even did a weekend out at the beach and he came every time I called (this dog had zero recall before Tamara). Tamara still checks in to see how my pup is doing and it's that extra thoughtful layer of caring that I can honestly say I will be sending him back to her for boards as well as her amazing Trecking paws hiking club. If you are anxious yourself about getting a lending paw to help your pupper call Tamara. She is the right call to make. She takes the worry out of giving your fur baby to someone with her thoughtfulness, calm demeanor, and skill to see exactly what your dog needs.

I had met with other trainers and actually been turned away because they said they could not work with us. Bramble and I had been in conflict for about 18 months by the time we met Tamara. He was incredibly leash reactive, guarded both myself and his resources (food/his kennel), and wouldn't allow people to enter our home. He reacted with snapping and biting if asked to do anything that wasn't in his agenda (which was many things due to his anxiety). I had practiced overly gentle positive reinforcement with him and avoided situations that triggered him; instead of helping, this made his behavior far worse. Tamara clocked Bramble's issues after less than 30 minutes when they met (although she took plenty of time with us to exchange questions and get a full picture of our situation). She was confident and comfortable handling him and didn't let him bully her like he was bullying me and my partner. I could tell that Bramble responded to her handling right away as well. Bramble did 4 weeks of B&T that completely changed our lives. Tamara helped him face progressively more challenging situations to build confidence, trained fantastic recall using e-collar tone and stim, worked with his comfort being handled and groomed, and returned a dog that was ready to work together with me going forward. I am so grateful to Tamara and Doglingual for giving Bramble and me a second chance at a happy life together. I've been able to continue training him with Tamara's guidance, and I know that we will continue to grow because she gave him the foundation he needed to really enjoy being a dog.
