First off, Alyssa (the sales rep) was amazing! Everyone else was an ass. Had a bad enough experience that Randy the GM offered me a full refund to bring the truck back. So i go the the hassle or arranging a ride, bringing it in etc... Then, at the last moment Randy tells me im basically lying, and revokes the refund offer! There is ZERO emphasis on honesty or ethics at this place. Total waste of time! But hey, he offered to sell me another vehicle. Like i would want another vehicle from them after this garbage! Worst experience of my life buying here. Carmax may cost a little more, but their service is leaps and bounds better in EVERY way. Beware of service SCAM!!! They'll add things on that aren't needed/consistent. I took car in because check engine light was on and was prepping for sale. Told it would be $500 to repair coolant issue. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF ANYTHING ELSE was wrong with car? I was told they do a thorough check of electronics and mechanical and car was in "GREAT" shape w/ exception of coolant. Part didn't come in for few days and I found a buyer. I told buyer to call down to Camp because they just did evaluation etc. All was good. I sold car and asked if buyer could go in and have coolant part replaced. Buyer gets back to me 3 days later and now Camp says there are $2,500 in additional problems with the car. Sold car for $6,500. The only saving part for me was that buyer said he wasn't surprised because Camp was a bunch of "schisters" in his opinion. Buyer took it to his mechanic who said there was no issue with what Camp had stated in writing were "new" problems. Called and was told manager would call me back - that was 9 days ago and I've left 2 more messages. I'm convinced these guys have a $500/$1,000 minimum quota to find wrong - regardless of whether it is. And - manager never called back. Telling. read more

They did a fantastic job on the paint matching and had my car sparkling clean at pickup. The service was great from the estimator, Marge, to the rental car service, and finally the body shop. My husband and I recently purchased 2 vehicles from Camp. We used Joe Williams for both purchases and were very pleased with the service we received. We feel that we got good deals on both of our vehicles and you can't beat their 60 day/3k mile warranty that you get on all used vehicles. That gave us some peace of mind. Horrible experience, past the day of buying our car since our sales agent was nice which is why I even gave camp chevrolet a star. The financial team is so rude, and the communication there as a whole is horrible. My husband and I have been told so many different things, the person (I believe his name is Josh or John) who did our paperwork didn't explain things correctly. Lithium who is responsible for a pinch of our loan is horrible at communicating as well. I swear due to the disrespect and communication, or lack there of, my husband and I will NEVER go to Camp Chevrolet again, and I wouldn't refer/recommend anyone to go there either! Oh yea, I also left out the fact that the car right off the bat had issues and the service team was beyond rude and also horrible at communicating, and returning calls. It took over 2 weeks to replace my transmission in a 05 Corvette. About three miles from home it would not shift into any gear. It was towed back to camp. After discovering a bubble in the new transmission fluid and fixing it, I took the car again. The next day the clutch went out. It had to be towed back to Camps. I was told that they should have also replaced the clutch. I still do not have my car back. I have zero confidence in the so called GM certified technicians. They must have hired the bottom of the class. read more

Worst auto buying experience ever. We were looking for a small SUV under $ 10,000 as it is only driven about 3500 miles a year. We found a nice looking Ford Escape at another dealer ship in Airway Heights which we were ready to purchase. But we had seen a Mercury Mariner which is the same as a Ford Escape on the corner of Camp Chevrolets lot after they were closed the night before. While the deal was being made with the other lot I call Camp and spoke to either Ryan or Bryan (they have both in the sales office) about the Mercury. They told that the dealership I was at was "under investigation" so much the State Official had a office (space) there as he was there all the time due to complaints. They also stated that they took care of their customers, that being part of a Publically Traded Corporation that they were held to higher standards by their owners than most dealerships. I checked and did find very poor reviews about the dealership we were currently at and immediately left and went to Camp to check out the Mercury. It did run out good and even though it had high mileage we were confident that it had been checked by Camp as the on duty sales manager told me that "they were their shops best customers" and every car was fully checked before be put up for sale. If a car needed work it was sent to the auction or wholesaled. We made a deal with them and purchased this car for $ 8,200.00 cash. I only drive 11 miles a day to work and back home so in a month had less than 400 miles on it. First time we drove it around town it started dying when stopping. The transmission or the torque convertor was locking causing the engine to die. Please bear in mind this car had less than 400 miles since we purchased it. When calling the dealer I spoke to Joey who is one of the managers. He sounded very sincere and had me bring the car in to be checked. They found it needed another transmission at a cost of over $ 3,000.00 for a used or over $ 4,000.00 to rebuild the one in it. They offered a discount for the repair which was 10% off the bill, this was more of an insult. When I asked if they could trade it out for another as we had purchased this in good faith from a dealership claiming to be honest and upfront they said they would be happy to do this due to the circumstances, that they have leeway to do this a few times a year when deals go south. This made us feel that they were indeed willing to help the customer and were honest businessmen. After many phone calls and a couple of trips to their lot we found a car which even though was not what we wanted we could live with and were happy to accept less as Camp was working with us. We finally went in on Saturday June 15, 2013 to make a deal with them on the other car. They car we wanted was priced at $ 7.995.00 which was less than the original car. After all the promises they made they came back and said that the repair on our "trade in" would be around $ 3,000.00 and they would need that much additional for the deal. At this point I asked for my keys to my original car so I could leave. To top this off the service department could not find my keys for almost 20 minutes. This dealership puts on a good song and dance but that is all. They care nothing about the customer, only the bottom line. While we figured we would be out a little more for a replacement we did not think they would try to hold us up without a gun, but they did. We will keep the car and have it repaired elsewhere for a lot less money than their "Discounted" price. We have only been in Spokane for about 5 years and have never been lied too or mislead by any dealer we ever dealt with in Central Washington which was where we moved from. This dealership has a fancy building being remodeled and I think I now know one of the ways they pay for it. Be VERY Careful here. read more

As a general rule I hate car dealers, mechanics and just about anything car related. This will be my first positive review of something car related. I had my first accident in 15 years and ended up here. I was very impressed with how smoothly everything went. I feel like my car looks great. I was really happy with the people. Melissa? At the front desk was very helpful, friendly and competent. Tony? Did an excellent job of communicating with me throughout the repair process. My car was scheduled to be repaired Wednesday for some body work. It's now Friday and I am still without. They never contact me with updates, I always have to call them, and it seems like the story is always changing. The latest version includes a bumper clip that was "over nighted" on Tuesday or Wednesday that is miraculously broke down in Oregon all of a sudden. Now I have to be without a vehicle until Monday, which by the way, is 2 weeks after I dropped off. I understand that this shop is preferred by my insurance, but I can assure you I will never bring a vehicle back here again. read more

Second off they wanted $13.00 for the key. I got tired of the attitude and walked across the street to the general store and they were more than happy to help me and the key was only four bucks. So we have been looking for a Suburban to replace ours that is about to roll to 200,000 miles. We stopped by Camp Chevrolet yesterday and they had (as the salesman said) got a 2008 in a trade in. The price was good, matching with a few I had found online. We left the lot, needed to pray about it and my wife and I both said lets do it. So I called the salesman back (Jupiter is his name) and asked him the price again and told him after church we would be in to take it for a test drive. So we get there after church and Jupiter was busy so another salesman lets us take the car for a ride. We get back to the office sit down and start giving out information to them. There is no sticker in the window of the car and isn't on the web site, so he asks us how much we were quoted and I tell him and he goes off to run the numbers. He comes back with a price of $4,000 more than the original salesman had told us (TWICE). So we asked to talk to the manager and he came out to talk to us, my wife started to tell him the story and he cut her off and so she said "would you please be quiet and let me finish" and he said don't treat me like a child. The story goes on they get another manager involved and come back with their best price they can do $2,500 more than we were original quoted. I even talked to the original salesman and he said someone told him it was the original price he had told me. Anyone can make an honest mistake, but wow. What a terrible experience, the price they ended up with was actually still a good price. The salesman made one really bad comment and we left, "you would pay more some place else just for the integrity!!!!!!! My wife and I talked and if they would have honored the original price we would have given them the price they wanted. Before I left I told the salesman that if they had integrity I would have paid what they wanted. People around Spokane I would run away from these guys. My son and I went in to make a deal on a used car with a trade of a 2003 Malibu that we bought from them new. They ignored the fact that we had financing and tried to lure my son into Appling for their credit. The deal was false per the sign on the vehicle. When the person did the appraisal on the Malibu he was testing the power windows and the driver side rear went down and not back up. It worked before he tried it. He never offered to fix it which I would have probably had them do and then he made us wait for 60 minutes for him to come up with a trade in offer of $100.00. What an insult all around. I bought 2 new vehicles from them in the past and I will never go back there again. My Son bought a similar vehicle with 30,000 less miles for less at CarMax with no BS. My fiancé and I recently just had the worst experience ever with the Camp you could possibly imagine. I initially contacted Camp about a car I had been searching for for a few weeks and was happy to see they had what I was looking for. I figured since the car was at what seemed to be a reputable dealership our experience would be quite pleasant. Boy was I wrong. at first when we first saw/ test drove the car and met the salesman (Robby) I was quite happy with the deal and was confident we had made a good choice, we went home that night happy and feeling excited for our new car. The next day when we went in to to purchase our new vehicle is when we ran into some major problems. We where introduced to the gentleman (David) that would be working with us on the remaining balance of what we would be financing. We initially put down 10 thousand dollars on a 16 thousand dollar deal and he said we where good to go, just based off of my fiances income. I must note that at first he was very nice but things changed quickly. After continuing to work with him he became very pushy and treated us as if we where incompetent because we didn't want to purchase all the extra packages they had to offer. After continuing to refuse the extra thousands of dollars they wanted for oil packages and what not & him down talking my wife to be I wanted to just walk out from the blatant rudeness and overall character of this person. When all was said in done we where told we would not get approved that night due to not having a proof of employment on us, which they never stated we had to bring in our we would have. So discouraged we went home that night with plans to return the following day. At this time we requested a detail on our new car and he promised it would be done as well when we came to finally pick up or rig. The following day led to a much more worse encounter with said sales man. We arrived at the dealership very excited to finally take home our new car with all the necessary paperwork in hand. After spending another hour in the office we where informed that now, after all this that with our income that they already approved us on we would need and additional $1700 to finance our vehicle, must I restate that I already had put 10k down on this 16k vehicle. When asked why he hadn't mentioned this before we got scoffed at and he just stated it is what it is. To me this had to be a joke, we should of financed through someone else with the lack of respect we where getting. Not one ounce of gratitude from this dealership in purchasing a very nice used vehicle from. Finally because I was dead set on getting this rig we settled on a extra $1000 down which thankfully I had on me, he then proceeded to let out a little chuckle and tucked the money into his pocket as if it where some sort of twisted tip for his lack of kindness and respect. Yet we got the car we wanted and left very displeased and discouraged. The party doesn't end. After driving the car for a week we went and used our remote start and the entire car started throwing every code in the book, all at 730 at night. I then contacted the dealership and they stated they could do nothing for me, I'm still trying to figure out the problem. Then to top off all of this they messed up our paperwork and we had to go in once again and sign paper work they messed up due to what was blatant complacency. At this point we where completely pissed at the lack of service from Camp Chevy. Today was my last straw. Starting at 6:30 this morning we missed several calls from the dealership stating that if we did not call back today our new car that we had paid down 11k on a measly 16k loan they would be coming to repo our car. Must I add we only financed to make life a little easier on us and help build our credit more, I could of paid cash easy for this car and had proof of it. With much concern we called back and found out that with no surprise the dealership had dropped the ball again and had not had us deal with bank making it seem like we just walked out the door with no intentions to pay off our car. I am done. This dealership has no respect period. Personally I am financially ok in life, a long time employee in the North Dakota oil fields, I took off a year to finish a degree in business and better myself. I believe we where profiled to the extreme degree. We are young, I know I wear dirty work clothes but I also own my own business when I am home from North Dakota and am always working. I feel that because of the way we look, granted my fiancé is well put together, and the fact I knew what I was talking about when dealing with the dealership and had money they profiled us. I had knowledge of the car I was purchasing and knew the deal we wanted. Regardless this was the worst encounter I have ever had period. I purchased a new Tahoe from Camp Chevrolet in 2003. The purchase went great which is why I returned to purchase a new 2021 Tahoe from them. What an awful experience! The salesman presented a price quote sheet and our trade in price was not what we expected. My husband asked the salesman to talk with his manager and request a somewhat higher trade in value. If he says yes, you "have a deal". The salesman said, "NO". My husband said, "It won't hurt to ask, he either says yes or no. Just check with him and you have a sale if he agrees. The salesman left and came back with the sales manager. The manager immediately accused my husband of "speaking poorly" to the salesman which was untrue. He then told my husband who was wearing a "TRUMP" mask to pull up his mask or leave! We just drove 70 miles round trip to buy this vehicle. We have never been treated so rudely! Needless to say, we left and drove to another dealer. Within 30 minutes, we were able to get the deal we wanted and I will be picking up my new Tahoe next week! Beware of possible sales gimmick/scheme at Camp Chevrolet. They offered a $25.00 gift card for a test drive. Took test drive Sunday 4/14 with Joe Williams ( sales rep). Afterwards I gave him the e-mailed coupon from Camp Chevrolet to redeem for the gift card. Joe didn't know how to process it. Takes it to the sales manager who was, guess, out to lunch. Joe: I'll give him the coupon as soon as he is back, don't worry, we'll mail it. Wednesday 4/17: I call Joe, no card yet. Joe: oh I just gave him the coupon yesterday. Friday 4/19: I happen to come by the dealership. Checking with Joe, he informs me, the sales manager needs to first buy the gift cards; not to worry, it will be mailed. Wednesday 5/1: I call Joe - voicemail- leave message. Today, now more than 4 weeks later, here I am, no card and no response. Kudos to the "great" customer service Camp Chevrolet prides itself in. Over the phone we worked out a deal for the car and he passed me off to a salesman who closed the deal. In a matter of 20 minutes the deal was done and the next day they delivered the car to me in Montana. it was one of the best car buying experiences ive ever had. He was kind and listened to what I was looking for and found me the perfect car. He made sure I understood all the features of my car and went out of his way to walk me through it. He even hand washed my car because where they normally wash it was super busy. He called me a few days after I bought it and made sure I was still happy and asked if I had any questions. This review is for our experience buying a new Tahoe. Our salesman Patrick was great and the paperwork went really fast. Low pressure and willing to work with you. 5 stars for the sales department! Unfortunately I need to give 1 star to the adjoining Camp body shop. Our Tahoe had a ding in the bumper that Camp was covering the cost. The body shop wanted me to bring it in for an estimate which I did then asked for paperwork from sales. I walked over to sales and they said they sent it over already but they would walk over another copy. Then I called and made an appointment over a week out and they said three days at most. When I called the day before to find out how early I could bring my rig in they had no record of the appointment! They said to still bring it in. I brought it in on Tuesday so 3 days would be Thursday but they said Friday. Okay I can do that. But when I call Friday they said the buffers and washers went home so it would be Monday morning. I was not okay with that and after talking to a manager they said it would be done by end of day Friday. Oy what a runaround. Yikes read more

I gave them all the pertinent information into rebates and they didn't add that in a quote and I highly advise not to do any business with this dealership whatsoever. Camp Chevrolet's service department is a joke. They were supposed to do an oil change, tire rotation, safety inspection, refill Def fluid, and fill the tires on my Cruze. Got the car back and the only thing they did was change the oil even though the paperwork said otherwise. Additionally, I scheduled my appointment through their online system, received multiple confirmation emails, and when I showed up they told me I didn't have an appointment and there was no record of it. Two days later the salesman called me at said the price of the hhr was $16997.00. He said they had made a mistake. Three managers stated the price has #13500.00. The worst service that I have ever had in my life. I would never use them again if I was paid to. The side airbag went of in the 2014 Camaro due to a pot hole at less then 15 mph speed. Wanted to have Chevrolet fix it so went to camp. They have had my car now for over 4 weeks, they haven't even started on it yet. Dropped it off the 15 of February. They said it would be done by the first week of march, not done. Then they said the 15th of march. Now at 4pm on march 15th when we called they are now getting ready to start looking at working on it. Every person that we have talked to has had a different story. I've purchased three 2018 Chevy 2500 HD Duramax from Camp Chevrolet and two Chevy Impala's within the last year, I'm going to be buying four more brand new trucks, But I won't be buying them from Camp Chevrolet. My brand new 2018 truck has an emissions DEF technology on it and every once in a while it makes you re-generate the filter and it cuts your power in half. So this happened to me in Portland and I live in Spokane but it wouldn't re-gen. Subsequently I had to deliver all my product all day Saturday at 50% power and then drive home 50 miles an hour from Portland to Spokane. I use my truck for business every week and cannot afford to have bull crap like this happen, this is why I bought a new truck, so I wouldn't have issues. So after spending $75,000 per truck from Camp Chevrolet, I went into Camp Chevrolet's service department today explained my situation and told them I had to have it looked at today. They said there's no way they can help me that it wouldn't be until Thursday before they could even look at it because they have other customers ahead of me. I understand this but because they're understaffed and don't have someone to look at my truck that shouldn't be my issue. Camp Chevrolet could care less about my situation, about my business and how it affects my customers. So after coming to terms they aren't going to do jack shit and there's nothing I can do about it I left. I decided I would find somebody who understood my situation and help me. So I found a company called Hurricane Diesel in the Spokane Valley that totally listened and understood. In 30 minutes of my arrival they diagnosed he truck for the problem, they manually re-gened the filter, and I was back on the road with 100% power in 2 hours. They had many customers in line before me just like Camp Chevrolet but they made it happen unlike camp Chevrolet, which is why Camp Chevrolet has just lost all my business going forward. read more

As I was buying out of state, I wasn't able to look at the car until I was ready to take it off the lot, but Mike went above and beyond the call of duty as far as getting all of the paperwork taken care of beforehand and being super communicative throughout the entire process about what I needed to send in and have with me when I arrived. Bait & Switch!!!! We were lied to about the purchase of our SUV. They said they would include new tires and deduct $1000 from the used car. They wrote up the contract and didn't include either. When questioned, they said they would do one or the other, not both. This was AFTER they shotgunned our credit all over town. They they said go pick out tires off a used care. Multiple lies in one transaction. They lied about the $1000 off, they lied about including new tires on the car, then they lied about one credit pull when they pulled many. They also lied about the interest rate we were going to receive. They didn't even have completed paperwork they day of the car delivery. They mailed the contract with different rates than what they said. I've never seen a dealer lie so much. I was just tying to help my kid buy his first car. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I'm a person who has bought over 20 cars from dealers in my 40 years. read more
