I have patronized Campagnia in Bay Ridge for many years. A friend wanted to try the Staten Island location during the holidays. Have to admit things are a wee bit different here. First, this location appears a bit more spacious, there is an actual bar ( loved the Christmas shakers adorning it). The mood was festive and we were seated earlier than our Resy. Second,, this location, I'll abbreviated Si( Island of Staten) served complimentary focaccia and a dipping sauce. Nice touch and yummy! We really were just craving calamari and pizza. The Calamari was utterly delicious, plentiful, nice sized portion and the marinara sauce was delicious. For the pizza, we ordered half vodka and half Margherita. I didn't taste the vodka, my friend loved it! I ate the Margherita which was delicious. For dessert, Cappuccino hit the spot on a very windy night. The service was on point and the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional, especially on a busy night. I really liked the vibe.. I'll be back... Campagnia is located on 1801 Hylan Boulevard Take S79 to Seaview Avenue, 3 minute walk

The pizza are a pretty good, you can taste the coal. Very thin crispy slices. Not to filling which is great for giving room to eat more.

What a great spot. There is outdoor seating, tvs to watch a game and beautiful chandeliers. The service was great and what we ordered was delicious. I had a sangria which was delicious. We would definitely be back. There is rooftop seating

Decided to do lunch with my Italian friend here. We was excited about coming here because of all the RAVE reviews . Sadly I was very much underwhelmed by the food. There's nothing "authentic " about the food here. Started with fried chicken wings and a focaccia. One wing was tasted and sent the rest back they were just not good . When I told the waiter we didn't like them instead of asking what was wrong he asked if they were cold. Which means they aren't made fresh . First red flag Focaccia came out and wasn't focaccia it was a thin crust pizza style very dry very hard not good . We picked at it but definitely didn't finish it . I wanted chicken parmigiana because I mean an authentic Italian restaurant can't mess that up right ? The food came out room temperature To about lukewarm which means the food isn't freshly made. I ordered roasted potatoes instead of pasta . The roasted potatoes had no flavor at all even after I added salt pepper and garlic it still was on the bland side . The chicken cutlet was ok the cheese was the best part . Food wasn't hot . My friend ordered a portofino sandwich minus the eggplant and fries . She stated the fires tasted like McDonalds fries and the sandwich was underwhelming. The prosciutto wasn't salty and there was extra extra peppers maybe because she omitted the eggplant. Either way the best part of this visit was the valet guy ! The restaurant is nice the decor is nice lots of tvs showing different things but the food isn't good and I can't see what everybody is raving about. Save your money or find a better restaurant.

Alejandro, our superb bartender, and Humberto, superior manager at Campania Hylan Blvd, made our dinner a supreme delight!! They are beyond gracious and most professional. Campania is well designed, great price point, courteous and most efficient staff and delicious extensive menu! Great for cozy dinner or family, friends, or business dinners, Campania is a 10 star spectacular dining experience. Great Happy Hour too!! Be sure to make a reservation for dinner dining on weekends. Great parking area (valet) across the street. Outside and rooftop dining is also available weather permitting. Come and enjoy a feast!!

Came here on a Wednesday evening and it was crowded. They have two entrances, the side entrance has a ramp for people with wheelchairs and strollers. The services are lacking. We had to ask multiple time to refill water and they still didn't do it. I couldn't hear what the server was saying went he was tell me what type of drafts they have. It is a bit too noisy for me. The foods are a hit and missed. The pesto pizza and black linguini tasted delicious while the linguine with clams, steak, and shank was ok. I would definitely go back for the pesto pizza.

We chose to dine on the first floor, which has a chic, elegant vibe with beautiful décor and a relaxing ambiance. There was a special set menu for the day, and the selections did not disappoint. I had the Burrata Salad followed by the Branzino--both were fresh and flavorful, and the portions were huge! I couldn't even make a dent in my main dish. My husband enjoyed the crepes and the seafood linguine, and he was just as impressed. The kids' menu was a cute touch, especially with the clever dish names. When I asked my 10-year-old what she was having and she replied, "I don't care," I was caught off guard--until I looked at the menu and saw that "I Don't Care" was actually the name of the mac and cheese! So creative and fun. Drinks were great too--strong and satisfying for my husband, and I was happy to see a solid mocktail selection for non-drinkers like me. The only downside? There were only two dessert options available. I was hoping for a bit more variety, especially since everything else exceeded expectations. Overall, it's a 10/10 experience, and I absolutely can't wait to go back!

I wish we had been sat in an area showing off more of the restaurant and its decor. The service was ok. It wasn't anything memorable. It was everything I hoped for in a bite - buttery, soft, with some crunch and nuttiness from the hazelnuts. It all blended together very well. My fiancé ordered the maiale. We dined in the enclosed outer area which was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food here is among the best in New York City. The beet salad appetizer is fresh and delicious. The focaccia is huge and perfectly balanced. The calamari was the only dish which could have been portioned a bit larger but was also fresh & cooked perfectly, with 2 outstanding sauces. The Caesar salad is very generously portioned; be sure to let them know your preference about anchovies! The short ribs are top notch, on a bed of broccoli rabe & mashed potatoes. The branzino is cooked to perfection in an absolutely amazing sauce. Prices are substantial but justified: this is a case of you get what you pay for.

I'll start off with that I was able to get one, and I am so glad I did. Theres a warmth of nonnas that's made this one of the most unique dining experiences out there. You can feel the love of nonnas cooking in each dish and the joy it brings them. They have a rotating selection of Nonnas along with their classic Italian menu. The Italian menu had food I've never really had before, all executed so well. I had an entire lambs head (not for the weak), so I got to eat cheek, eye, brain, etc. nonna maria had to come teach us out to cook it but it was a fascinating dish. The rabbit was also fall off the bone which I was just so pleasantly surprised by. It came with potatoes and carrots so it just felt so homey. Nonna Elizabeth was Puerto Rico was the featured chef and she made salted cod fritters, which at first, I was like it sounds interesting, but it was so well seasoned I ended up loving it. Got a pork and rice dish also, and the rice was so fascinating. It had olives in it and the pork was well seasoned. They really make you feel valued and that you're in nonnas kitchen. Everytime you go, you're going to get a different experience with the featured Nonna. For real, try this.

The Chicken Marsala was a soupy mess with two thin chicken slices and some mushrooms. The taste was barely okay, and I suspect they used white wine and not Marsala wine. It came with a side of linguini with terribly sour marinara sauce that was almost inedible. The bread was good but the olive oil dipping sauce was overly saturated with herbs to the point where it tasted bitter so became a fail. The margherita pizza was nothing special either. The cheese and dough were fine but the sauce was too acidic. Only a single piece of basil adorned the Margherita pizza. Also, don't call it a margherita pizza if it's not served with fresh mozzarella. Just call it a cheese pizza like other pizza places. Worst tres leches cake I've ever tried. Overpriced at $10 for a small square with troublesome flavor and texture. The top half was dry, the cake lacked flavor, and why was there a marshmallow topping. I've never heard of that. Clearly, I will not be ordering from here again.

We looked for a spot. it's extremely hard to find parking in this area.. there is a small lot but seems like it gets filled quickly. We didn't have reservations but it was rather early and didn't think it would be hard to get a table. We walked in and a cute older man was energetically running around waiting tables and making drinks. I think he was the owner. He was funny and super nice. He seated us. There was two super large parties in the restaurant. They were loud and tbh obnoxious! We looked at the menu and we settled on some light options. Fried calamari 19 , a salad( Pera ) Bibb lettuce with Gorgonzola, candied walnuts , poached pears in a balsamic glaze 18 we added salmon and a meatball pie 21. Tiramisu So let me break it down for you. We had hot bread with a beautifully seasoned tomato sauce. It was really amazing! It really set the tone for the meal. The fried calamari was really good. Crunchy, fresh and not dripping in oil. Lightly seasoned and the sauce was perfect with the calamari. The only thing the portion was small for the price! The pizza came out and again this pizza was like a personal pizza again the price is off . I wasn't impressed with the cheese they used. It didn't seem like fresh mozzarella. First impression there was way too much sauce the crust was like a wafer. Super thin! I wasn't impressed. I took a bite and the sauce tasted raw ! Like not cooked. Had an unpleasant taste. I actually got a little nauseated. Moving on we order the Pera salad and wanted to top it with salmon. We expected a full salad and salmon right on top. It might have been our fault for not asking the price for the salmon but that's what we wanted. Anyway our salad comes and literally it's a side salad with a 3 or 4 oz portion of salmon. Super small. We couldn't believe it. We were still hungry so we order a tiramisu. It was light, fresh and just a simple dessert. This place is by far not a date place. It's loud and somewhat chaotic. You def can tell the owner is busting his ass. It's really unfortunate The food is not consistent with taste, flavor and consistency . Which is a shame. The price point of the food is way too expensive for a place on Staten Island! Speaking of price we get the bill and the price for two side salads and a small piece of salmon each 80 F'ING DOLLARS!! The guy literally ripped us off ! We pay the bill as we both shake our heads and walk out and the owner goes " hey make sure you tell 5 friends to come visit" yea sure and get ripped I would have loved to say! Patrons be aware!
