Everything on the menu is amazing! We have tried hot sandwiches and cold. The portions are so generous! We always say we will just eat half and save half for later but the food is so good you can't stop eating!

We're so glad we stopped by after visiting the cemetery. I highly recommend the #13 Maria, Staten Island Italy a la vodka and the Phil Leonardo. Other family members ordered their build your own and did the mozzarella and roasted red peppers and we all loved our sandwiches. I wish we had this quality on the west coast. I can't wait to come back and hope they keep doing well! Service was nice and there were a few barstool seats facing out of the store. We were able to park on the street, best to carpool.

We got the Godfather & the Laura & they were by far the best sandwiches we've had on Staten Island. The hostess was friendly & we loved her explanation of how the sandwiches were named. We will definitely be frequenting to try all of these heroes!

Sfincione pizza

Anthony's may not be known for pizza BUT he makes a sfincione pizza. Its crispy airy crust is smeared with a savory sauce of onions, tomatoes, and oregano and then topped with grated cheese and breadcrumbs. It is my pizza heaven.

Not gonna lie. Pretty skimpy on the $18 RB sandwich (top) Have you seen a random Ribeye cheese steak? $15 for 3x meat (bottom).

I really wanted to like this spot. I really did. It just wasn't in the cards. Staten Island is filled with amazing Pizza. Close to the best pizza in the USA from just this island. I know all about the history of the Brooklyn Italian Americans and their diaspora across the Verrazano to the Island. That explains why pizza is elite in Shaolin, which also explains why the only NYC borough are full of Trumpers. As for the roast beef sangwich game, it's not yet up to speed. I don't know what it is with Italian delis trying their hand in the roast beef game, but every roast beef sandwich I've eaten from an Italian deli are either mid or trash. I've tried every roast beef/mozz/gravy from Hoboken to Hackensack and Brooklyn to Staten Island. I watched all the Staten Island food TikToks from the Scarlotta twins to Cug. Anthony's was top of their list. Anytime I decide to cross the Bayonne Bridge, I have to decide if it's worth the toll, so Denino's would be the 1st reason why I would cross. Today, I decided to bypass Denino's and try either Royal Crown Bakery or Anthony's. Cug said Anthony's is the spot so I rolled the dice. Anthony seems to be a good guy and I'm sure his other sandwiches are elite, but roast beef with caramelized onions did not hit. I took my RB to the Mall to eat in the food court. At first smell, it was odd. It already didn't smell like I was going to enjoy it. I cracked it open and the first thing I noticed was a burnt roll. I was going to ask them to toast it before making the sandwich but I hesitated and just let Anthony do his thing. I would commend myself for not asking because it would have been burnt beyond had I asked. The question I have is, why would he even make a sandwich with that trash roll? I'm truly offended that my $18 wasn't good enough for him to assume this wasn't the product that he wanted his customers to experience. I don't know if it's the way the onions were caramelized or if the gravy was the cause of the unpleasant smell/taste. Either way, I have no idea why this would be mentioned in the NY Times. I had to throw away the other half. Nothing was salvageable. I'm going to stick with Jersey sandwiches and only cross the Bayonne for Denino's, Lee's, and Jimmy Max's. G's is legit though.

Tried their grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers hero, AMAZING!!!!

Fast service, great sandwiches in a nice clean deli. Watching the guys preparing other orders makes you want to try everything.

Classic pastrami sandwich. Delicious!

We ate at Da Damaso's tonight for the first time. Just read about the restaurant today. We…read more were looking for somewhere to go for dinner and I mentioned to my husband how I just read about this place which got amazing reviews online. We took a shot and just showed up, which wasn't the smartest thing to do especially on a Saturday night. When we got there, most of the tables were taken, and the other tables were reserved. At first, the owner offered us to sit at the counter, but then was kind enough to seat us at a small table for two. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, but we settled on a prosciutto and Burratta appetizer, and spaghetti alla Nerano and spaghetti carbonara for our main courses. We started off with delicious bread brought to the table, and things just kept getting better from there! The food was fresh and delicious with Italian music playing in the background. The restaurant is family run, and they treat you like you're coming to their house for dinner. I have to say I truly felt for a good hour and a half, that I was back visiting Italy. There were so many other items on the menu we would've loved to have tried, so we definitely will be back, but next time we will make sure we have a reservation because we would hate to miss out on another delicious meal!

The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and you can tell it's a neighborhood favorite since so many guests seemed to be regulars who all knew each other. One of my favorite things is that it's BYOB, which makes the experience even better. Parking isn't the easiest, but it's absolutely worth the short walk. The space is small, so it's perfect for an intimate dinner or a group of about 10 people (probably not much more), but the food and atmosphere make it an absolute gem! Thanks Ami for your great service....

Mario consistently took care of my family and I every time that we come here; his friendly, warm, and attentive service is reflective of what exemplary service looks like! Our favorite appetizers are the blackened scallops and octopus carpaccio; the scallops were ALWAYS cooked to perfection where it's both extremely tender and flavorful! The sausage and pepper hero was also extremely delicious, where the sausage is not overly salty but still flavorful and paired perfectly with its tangy and savory sauce! The mushroom truffle pasta is our favorite, including our little toddler who is usually a very picky eater; its creamy but not overly rich, and very savory with perfectly cut mushrooms that's not too thin and provides the perfect bite! What can elevate the dish even more if they gave just a bit more pasta so there's more to enjoy! The pizzas were also perfectly crisp on the exterior and very enjoyable, where the pepperoni was also crisped to perfection! Overall, we have not yet encountered any disappointed dishes just yet, so I highly recommend coming to Patrizia's of Brooklyn for a fun and delicious experience! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

The service was absolutely incredible--attentive, friendly, and one of the highlights of the evening. There were also some real standout dishes. The stuffed shrimp was very good, the lamb was excellent, and the short rib pasta was outstanding. Unfortunately, some of the simpler dishes missed the mark. I wasn't a fan of the pizza appetizer, the clams were extremely fishy, and the calamari was overly salty. In the end, the excellent service and the dishes that were done well carried the experience. While there were definitely some disappointments, there was enough great food and hospitality to earn a solid four stars overall. Congratulations to my daughter on her NYPD Academy graduation, and thank you to the staff for making the celebration special.

I really like their pokebowls and I always get it (5 stars) for Pokebowl station on the island. But…read morethe other stuff on the menu such as the mala rice bowl, i'd probably not get it ever again. The portion is literally so off it's so funny. Theres like 1 layer of toppings like about 3 cm and then you get a huge bucket of rice at the bottom that feeds like 2 families LOL. It felt like I'm eating a KFC bucket of rice. The taste is good but is it really worth the price of rice and some meat though? The picture of the rice is literally after finishing the toppings and my own portion of rice. Look at how much rice there's left. It's literally about 6 bowls of rice there.

This took me 30 mins of waiting when I was the only person in store (after 10 someone came in for a milkshake and still got theirs first) because of the lack of organization and staffing in store. Then I find o it uber charged me for the order that was "cancelled" and when I contacted uber they said that poke bowl station completed the order in their end and that since I reached out after 48 hours I could not be refunded because the order was completed. The fact that the order was cancelled then the store proceeded to "complete" an order that obviously wasn't completed because it was never picked up is shady. It is on them and uber that I got double charged by trying to try a new spot. I got scammed and paid double for a sub par meal that I had to work extra hard to get? Shame. Glad you like to scam money from customers to hire an incompetent staff.
