As we were walking to table server pulls the breakfast menus out of hostess' hand and says breakfast was over. We met on the veranda at Campbell's and fell in love, so it is only natural that we celebrate in that very location. We set the reservations online, there were flowers ordered, delivered, and impressively beautiful (thank you Evelyn @ Damascus Rose Floral) and we pulled up our chairs for a relaxing enjoyable meal. Our sever knew it was our anniversary, in fact so did the others sitting on the veranda as I was surprised by the flowers - not to mention the beautiful view of downtown and the "sleeping elephant" of green. The first Course with a pint of Mac n Jack and a refreshing spin on an Arnold Palmer with the calamari - light and crisp - a perfect balance to sip and munch as we began to enjoy the evening. The mains were ordered and looked as appealing as they were delicious: Wild Salmon plus a Prawns and Crab Louie. The Salmon was tender and cooked to perfection with a local cherry salsa that was a perfect accent to the fish. The Louie was just the best compliment we could have hoped for - we ordered side plates and ate family style. A spicy dressing, on the side, paired well with the prawns and crab as the Louie provided balance to the rest of the meal. But wait, we didn't stop there as we shared a slice of classic chocolate mousse pie a perfect compliment to a great meal on a date night. Very good breakfast! I had their breakfast sandwich, which was very tasty although a little hard to eat. I would order it again but ask that they chop up the onions so they don't pull out with every bite. There was too much ham, which is better than not enough! Went back to Campbell's again tonight for there happy hour. We cane last night and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is classy casual the service was excellent and the happy hour food is really good and the prices are great. Hubby had their burger and brew -$10 ....that's right, both for only a 10 bucks. This was a huge and delicious 8 oz. burger on a Kaiser bun. No fries, but it was so filling you didn't need fries. I had the smoked chicken flatbread and it was delicious! I should have had it again tonight but I tried the beef street tacos instead. The meat was dry and not flavorful. I also had the Tequila Tuesday Margarita and a really good hard Cider that was on tap ( wish I could remember the name) I would highly recommend Campbell's happy hour! read more

They have a large menu and we ate two dinners, breakfast, and tested the bartender's skills on cocktails from movies. Everything tasted great, but the cocktails were the best kept secret. I'd spend the money on a lot meal, and just do cocktails. read more

I arrived to my hotel at Campbell's Resort at 7:00 pm. I was upstairs and in my room by 7:15 and browsing take out options online at 7:27. I tried to place a to-go order and the website erased the order. I called the Pub and Veranda and was immediately placed on hold. The call disconnected after a few minutes, so I called back. I was informed I couldn't place an order to-go after 7:30, by this time it was 7:35 pm. I inquired about eating in the restaurant or bar and asked if I could make a reservation, to which they said "I don't know, we're really busy" and convinced me to go somewhere else ... seriously? After 3.5 hours in the car, I just wanted a nice meal. If you're reading this, skip Campbell's and go somewhere else. Marcela's is just a few steps down the street, vegan friendly, and very accommodating. read more

My family and I recently visited Lake Chelan for the first time, and we stayed at Campbell's Resort. We were only in town for 3 days/2 nights, and the first night, we decided to dine at this restaurant, as it was attached to our hotel and it looked lovely. All I can say is, we loved it SO MUCH, we decided to dine here the second night of our trip, too! Both nights we sat inside by the window, overlooking the street, with a view of the lake as well. Just beautiful, with lots of light and a warm ambience. I noticed the enclosed bar area; it was really cute, with an authentic "London pub" vibe. Our waiters on both nights were incredible (darn, I wish I had taken note of their names). Both were very knowledgeable about the menu and their beer selection (both of which are quite extensive. There are a LOT of food and beverage choices here). Both servers were really personable and attentive and seemed genuinely... nice. Nice guys. Hubby loved his beers! I have no idea what he ordered, but he said they were wonderful. And the food! Wow, the food was amazing! So we were here 2 nights and had 6 different dishes in total, and all 6 were fantastic. We ordered pub wings, the stuffed squash, blackened salmon Caesar salad, the coconut prawns, the Washington cheese plate and the blackened chicken burger. Be forewarned: the portions are humongous. The first night, I nearly died when they brought me my stuffed squash. It was overflowing, like a mountain of roasted vegetables in and atop a huge roasted butternut squash. It was beyond delicious, but it was easily 4-5 meals' worth of food. The Caesar salad was also jumbo-sized. Luckily our hotel room hada fridge and a microwave, as we brought most of the meals home with us for later that night and the following lunch. We found the prices here reasonable for the great food, service and ambiance. If we had been in town a third night, we'd have returned again for dinner! And looking at their breakfast and lunch menus, we'd have wanted more time to check them out as well! What a great place. read more

Came here for dinner with my wife while on vacation. Great ambiance -- we sat outside on the veranda in the shade with a partial view of the water. Polite and prompt service. I ordered the fish & chips while my wife got the blackened caesar salad. My fish was AMAZING. flaky and melt-in-your-mouth cod with beer batter crusting, their yummy homemade tarter, and some of the best french fries I've had in a while. Crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for dipping into the tartar and ketchup, I completely cleaned my (well sized) plate. My wife's fish (I got a taste) was smoky and delicious, and paired well with the caesar it accompanied. This is a nice, classy place to come for a bite to eat. Treat yourself! read more

I hate to join in the recent negative reviews but I wished I read them before we went today. Things have changed at Campbells, and i don't think it's all due to the pandemic. Their famous apple pancakes are gone and the other dishes are skimpy. They've switched out fancier plates and dressed up the presentation of the food. But the food itself is not great. Dirty hash had cheap salsa instead of real veggies. Eggs Benedict had a pancake instead of English muffins and bland sauce. And on top of it they've upped the prices! My plate was cold, which they microwaved for me. I miss the old Campbells. read more

Made reservations here for a girls weekend and it was basic at best. We had the Cod, Flank Steak, Seafood Pasta and Pork Shank. Honestly, this place is expensive for what you actually get and the flavor is not there. Clam chowder was good but not great. So disappointing, also the view is non existent. Snotty hostesses! Made a reservation about an hour before we arrived (4:30). Hostess wanted to seat us inside, I asked if we could sit on the veranda, which had many empty tables. Was told no, they couldnt seat us on the veranda until 6:30, because they were only seating on the left. What? Wait 2 hours for an outside table when there were many empty ones?It was stuffy and warm indoors, and they would rather have us leave than to accomodate a party of 2. Ordered Caesar salad to share - was drenched in fries capers, cheese and dressing. The chicken dish was super dry, the polenta had huge pieces of onion as someone was in a hurry to fill the corn polenta. Absolutely gross asparagus as if it was prepared 4 days ago. Also ordered Summer Crab pasta - too bad I didn't take a picture of awful dried crab and 3 days old mushrooms. For a place that charges $30-40 a dish they could do so much better. The location is great but the atmosphere is bad. Do not recommend. Going to try to eat dinner some place else. read more

Extremely cool pub atmosphere. Great views of the surrounding hills and Woodin ave. Awesome fish and chips (I recommend subbing the fries for the truffle parm fries). The blackened salmon Cesar was so flavorful and they didn't hold back on the portion of salmon as most places do. Good happy hour options and daily specials. We hadn't found many food gems in Chelan yet and this place redeemed the culinary options for us. read more

I was hungry & in the mood for a nice dinner and I was not disappointed. Hostess / server seemingly a bit perplexed as a handsome guy like myself was dining solo - however, the server warmed-up, eventually. The Fried Green Tomato Caprese was an interesting twist & had a delicious blend of flavors. The Stuffed Squash was delicious, hearty, and the truffle oil tied all the flavors together. I'd definitely order this again! I was full - and remained pleasantly full for several hours after dinner. Suffice to say, I didn't need, nor have dessert. As an aside, if you have an opportunity, their coffee is excellent & would undoubtedly be fantastic with any meal. read more

It's Mother's Day today so my husband and father ordered dinner for my mother and I as take out so I could put our 1 yr old daughter to bed. Pretty sure they messed up on our take out order and forgot to put all the food for the seafood ciomeal in the box. The box had a tiny bit of sauce, 2 pieces of fish the size of an Oreo combined, 1 shrimp, 2 mussels and I think 1 clam. The take out boxes are fairly small and you could see 75% of the bottom of it. It had to have been an accident as the other 3 meals and appetizer we ordered were good. The problem is we called right away to let them know there must have been an accidental oversight. The girl my father spoke to said there was no manager there and someone would call him tomorrow. Soooo I don't get the meal I ordered and we paid for tonight... on Mother's Day. Although my husband shared what he got I wanted what I had ordered of course. ******Updated review to 4 stars. My husband got a call from the owner or manager who apologized and was embarrassed at how the situation was handled. We appreciate that they took the time to reach out and make things right. Amazing brunch. Have been coming here for brunch for 2 years now. Sit on the outside patio, the views are immaculate. Got the chilaquiles. Could have had more sauce and flavor, were pretty bland but still good. I asked for scrambled eggs rather than sunny side up. read more

I ordered two burgers one lamb and one regular (reason for that is that sometimes restaurants don't do good with lamb but I was willing to try) all of this was to go with a Roy Rogers. The best thing I can say about the meal is that it was burnt. It just gets worse from there the drink I got had a gold wrapper floating in it. Since it was dark when I left the restaurant I didn't see it. The burgers them selfs where both burned and undercooked pick a side and stick to it. I would usually never leave a bad review but this place was extra awful so I needed to do at least this 59 dollars and it went into the trash after a few bites. Great job! read more

One of the worst meals I have had recently which is so disappointing after several great meals at this spot. Upon arrival we were told their was a new chef and the menu had changed. Everything we ordered tasted charred or burnt. It tasted like it was sifted out of a campfire. The broccoli, burger etc were completely burnt. Awful. We will not be back. read more

We stayed at Campbell's and for the last night we wanted to have a nice dinner. We saw their menu in our room and said why not. When we got there the menu has changed and bummer. We told our waitress and she apologize for it for that reason we are giving them 2 stars - great service. The reason we are giving low stars it's because of the food. We ordered clams: they were ok. But the entrees were terrible. The chicken country was tasteless and the steak salad too. The salad came with fried onions that were stale. Not really good food overall. The service was great. I guess the waitress told the hostess about our menu disappointment that she wanted to send us dessert. However we turned it down, but she still Discounted out drinks. read more

A must try if you are visiting Chelan! A beautiful place to eat with even more beautiful food. The staff is friendly and considerate, the menu offers a wonderful variety, and the quality of food and service is always five stars. There is a beautiful window view and even sometimes live music and performances! The fried calamari and shrimp scampi with a simple margarita is always my go-to order. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here, at the Veranda, because we thought it would be the nicest restaurant in Chelan. It was not what we expected. I ordered the Dungeness Crab Fettuccine. This is no ordinary, lovely cream-based fettuccine. It is loaded with sweet potato, so if you like orange fettucine then this is your dish. I sent it back. My husband's New York steak came in three different chunks (?) and was stringy. Everything is ala carte, so don't expect anything other than the main. This was supposed to be a special dinner that for us fell far short of the mark. To their credit, they didn't charge us for the fettucine, and management contacted me afterward to discuss our experience and offered a credit toward a future dinner. read more

We had high hopes for this place. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the steak. The duck was hot as was everything on his plate, the medium rare steak was overcooked and cold. The waiter took mine back and had it remade. This time it was hot but by then at least 15 minutes had passed so we did not eat together as intended, The drinks we ordered appeared on the bill at a $2.00 per drink price increase from what the menu states. Spoke with the manager and he took the extra price of the drinks off the bill, no accommodation for the first cold and then late meal. He acted like we were bothering him. The place was not busy even though it was Friday night. The accompaniments were sour and unappetizing. A very expensive unsatisfying meal. We will never return there and would encourage others to not patronize this place. read more
