Seems like they have a ton of inventory, but it's frustrating to feel like you have to be sold before you ever even see the RV you'd like. When we first arrived, we looked around a bit before we went to find a salesperson. Which is great for me, because I don't need someone breathing down my neck when I'm surveying the options. We went in and we're introduced to a salesperson who immediately started qualifying us. Which, frankly, I don't need. "So, have you ever owned a RV?" "You want a class B?" Look- I just want to see the one I have my eye on, then you can do the job a salesperson does and start qualifying me. We go to her office and she pulls out paperwork and starts to ask questions before my boyfriend stops her and says we've just started the process. She says that normally they want to tell us what downpayment and payments look like. That is awesome, but mind you we haven't even started looking at the one we want. She offered to get the keys, but just before she left her office, she threw out one more passive aggressive comment, "I mean, they normally don't let us open it without getting the info." Okay- here's where I'm at- if that's the case, just say that. Say, "I want to get you out to look at it right away, but I need to get some information from you before we get started. Is that okay?" Don't just start writing stuff down without telling me what you're doing. Epic fail. So we looked at a few dealerships in Longmont that didn't make us jump through ridiculous hoops and allowed us the opportunity to ask questions and develop rapport. I bought my brand new camper from here in May of 2021. Took it out for the first time and a few things happened after the first initial long travel. The siding on the master was coming undone, the plug for the fresh water tank fell off, fridge wasn't working, a piece of trim fell of the fridge, and the deadbolt was not lined up. So we brought it in 7/24/2021 to get fixed. They keep telling me they were waiting for the ok to move forward under warranty. They got it, then we're waiting to find out what part numbers to order. I called them today and got a email from Jamie in services saying, "GOOD MORNING. I HAVE FOLLOWED UP WITH PARTS AND THE ISSUE THEY ARE HAVING IS HEARTLAND IS NOT RESPONDING TO US TO GET US THE PROPER PART NUMBERS. THEY ARE MAKING THIS VERY DIFFICULT FOR A FEW SMALL PARTS. I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, BUT IF YOU REACH OUT TO THEM, IT MAY HELP THIS ALREADY DRUG OUT PROCESS. THANKS." So I reached out to Heartland and they said they have not gotten any emails or heard from them. I got the parts ordered and they are coming to my house. Hopefully I can get my trailer in for them to actually fix my trailer so we can enjoy it in the spring. It's ridiculous that I had to reach out to Heartland to get the parts, looks like I have to do others jobs as well because they can't reach out when they haven't heard back from them in 3 months. The sales team at camping world were great. Super helpful and helped us pick out the perfect trailer. We were told by the salesman give your trailer a good season of camping and the first of the year schedule a warranty service. Which we did. I called in March and was given a beginning of July service date. We thought ok it should only be there a week or so. Brought the trailer in for service and scheduled a drop off. Lonnie the service manager told us that we should not call and just send him an email asking about the work on the trailer. He told us we could pick it up and then bring it back.. which was odd, but ok. 2 weeks pass I send him an email, no response. 3 weeks pass and we were told the tech working on it had family issues... um not my problem. So we said ok we have a set date for camping and want the work done. Another week passes and unanswered emails. A month and more emails unanswered. Still no idea when the few things needs to be covered we're going to be repaired. Never taking the trailer back there for service ever again. read more

We bought a brand new trailer three and a half weeks ago. All we needed in terms of after-market service was two 6V batteries with boxes installed, but they didn't have the boxes in stock. Between the time we bought the trailer and today, we told them four different times on four different trips out to Golden to order the boxes but they only did so a week ago on the fourth time we asked - as if we were just leaving our trailer there for no reason for three weeks. After they finally ordered the boxes and we pre-paid for them, we called to check the status of the order three times. Each time we called they had no idea what order we were talking about and when the boxes finally arrived, they didn't notify us or even realize they were ours until we called and gave them our receipt number so they could pull them out of inventory and install them on our trailer. When we arrived today to finally pick up our trailer nearly a month after we bought it, our brand new trailer is missing fittings and, although the batteries are strapped in and wired up, nothing will power on. I'm sitting here in the parking lot, fed up with this endless nonsense and waiting for these morons to figure out what they messed up this time. They can't figure out what's wrong. We've been here for over an hour. (Edit for update: After an hour and a half, they've realized that they hooked up the two 6 volts in parallel. Seriously.) I cannot fathom what kind of idiot you have to be to run an establishment this poorly. I will never return to this place for any kind of service. It would have been quicker and more convenient for us to buy our trailer out of state than to deal with this awful place. I highly recommend that anyone reading this find somewhere - ANYWHERE - else to buy their RV. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. read more

I wish that I would have done my homework before walking onto this Camping World lot. I highly encourage you to shop elsewhere...run as fast as you can from this train wreck of an operation. I purchased a brand new RV from Camping World a few months ago. While my wife and I were going through the checkout process the tech noticed that the fan vent cover was broken so he placed an order for a new one. A few weeks later, I got a call from Hector telling me that the part was in so I called up and made an appointment. They couldn't get me in for several weeks but since it was spring I was patient because it was the busy season for RV service. On the day of my appointment, Hector, was very thorough documenting all of the issues that were needed with the camper. Several weeks went by and I hadn't heard from them so I gave them a call. I called ever day for over a week before I spoke to Hector. After inquiring about my RV, Hector told me that he didn't have my RV on the lot! I got a little concerned as you would imagine. Hector told me he would call me back but he never did. I called a few days later and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to Heather, who is the assistant manager, and she was very professional. She informed me that they did have my RV (great news) and that they needed a few more days to complete the service. Cool...thanks for communicating, I understand that you are swamped, call me when you get it done. No problem. Didn't get a phone call for over a week so I showed up at the service desk asking about my camper. Surprise, surprise...the camper is done and it is ready for you to take home. It was on their lot for just shy of four weeks! After looking at their work and reading the invoice it was clear that they missed some items, including the vent cover which was the primary reason for the service, but I overlooked it out of shear joy at having my brand new RV back. In addition, the Service Department couldn't locate my keys! They literally lost the keys to my RV and then told me that I could drive across town to have a locksmith make a new pair. Flabbergasted, I drove the RV back to my house and parked it. A few days later, I was out washing the RV getting ready for a trip to Red Feather Lakes with my daughter. To my surprise as I was cleaning the roof I noticed that the awning was torn and that the plastic housing that covers the awning mechanics was missing! It was apparent that while my new RV was in the care of Camping World, they slammed my RV into something and caused considerable damage. I took a deep breath and contacted, Sammy, my salesman and he said he would reach out to Brian, the Service Department manager and I should expect a phone call. Brian did call me back. He listened to my calm explanation about my experience and then launched into an emotionless diatribe about how he couldn't accept responsibility for the damage because crazy drivers on his lot crash into RVs all of the time. So here I sit writing this review preparing for the battle that is about to ensue. I am writing to vent my frustration and to hopefully prevent you from stepping foot on this charlatan playground. Run, run as fast as you can away from this place. There are many reputable RV dealers in Denver who treat their customers with respect. In review, Camping World, took four weeks to service my RV. They lost my keys and didn't take responsibility for getting me a new set. Worst of all they crashed my new RV and told me that it wasn't their fault. Shame on you Camping World...shame. read more

This place is terrible. I was working with Garret who was extremely friendly. After a day of working out details and confirming what we wanted I made an offer on an RV about $750 below the asking price. He said he needed my credit card to put the deal on his boss desk so he could close the deal. I oblidged. Garret called back and said the best he could do was the website price and that I would also need to buy a battery to close the deal. How absurd I am willing to pay the listed price but you are going to play strong arm tactics and tell me I have to buy other things to get the deal that is advertised? I said that is not a good foot to get started on and in principle I would not do that deal. He went back to his boss again who this time said the price had been raised $2500 lol. I am sure this was just to stick it in my face that we could care less about integrity and we will call the shots. I was so mentally invested to buy the RV at this point I asked to get the last deal he offered and I would buy the damn battery. lol no cigar new price new negotiation... I said done please do not call me again. Ok great, I went and spent 32 grand the same day at another dealership got exactly what I wanted and also bought lots of accesories that I needed. Bottom line don't mess with these guys. They really do deserve the terrible reviews here. I would never buy anything from them. Garret promised to shred my credit card info etc. After reading the reviews here I really hope he follows through. As I said he was friendly and while some good cop bad cop role playing might have been going on... he did seem like he was genuinely just in a crappy situation. What kind of sales manager send his guy back out when we are a few hundred away from a deal and has the sales guy raise the price $2500. I have been in sales my whole life and I just have to laugh at how terrible and disfunctional they are. They must have a monopoly to be this bad and stay in business. read more

The sureflo water pump that I bought 98 days ago broke. It actually broke a month ago but I didn't have a chance to pull it out of the camper until this weekend. They turned me away today for a replacement because they have a 90 day policy. The pump has a 2 year warranty but now I'm going to have to handle that with the manufacturer. We were ripped off! Read the reviews on yelp and should have listened. Overpaid, that's my fault, but then one thing after another started going wrong with the trailer the day we got it! They were responsive the first day but after that, "Oh, I don't think that was working ever." or worse yet, no response. Twice I have had to get replacement parts for our RV and they take all your information and never get back to you. Specifically Sandy in parts. She left us a voicemail that she's working on finding the part and never called back - which is exactly what happened the last time. Also, I went into the store with a friend for her RV which was a 2000 and they were so condescending because of the age of her motorhome and the tone is like "you idiot - of course we don't have parts for that year". Let me begin by saying this review is based on a culmination of visits, about 15 in total. This specific Camping World is without a doubt the worst company I have ever experienced. I'd like to say their just too busy for their own good but really I just think it's a lack of motivation and interest. 1. Dump Station - The dump station at this location has been "out of order" for the better part of five months. In reality the dump station is in perfect working order but the ground is not level so they say it's out of order. I've even been told that the city of Golden restricts its use which, if true, I have to ask "why hasn't it been fixed yet?!" Camping World is one of the best resources for on the go RVers to dump their tanks. If you're a Good Sam member then you get to do it for free at Camping World but this location couldn't care less about that. I've spoken with management multiple times and the sum of the conversation is pretty much "too bad." 2. Service Dept & Kevin - I really wanted to buy Solar for my RV and utilize the no interest financing that Camping World offers. Unfortunately after three visits and long wait times Kevin was not able to fill me with confidence in regard to my purchase. His answers were not in depth and I was not given options. It was simply here you are, you want it or not? I'm not sure if he just didn't think I was serious or what but if I'm investing into a purchase I want the salesman to invest time in making sure it's the right one. 3. The Phones - I have called to speak with the service or parts department a few times. Each time I've been transferred to their extension only to be on hold for five minutes and have the call drop. Very very frustrating. This is not my own experience either. Just last week I was stopping by Camping World and this gentleman was very frustrated and said "I'm just going to leave these guys obviously have no interest in my business." That experience solidified my disappointment in the company because that gentleman had a HUGE (expensive) fifth wheel. The reason that is important is because I always assumed I received poor service because I had a cheaper rig but that wasn't the case I suppose. The Good - 1. Jake in sales is excellent. He is understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. Make him a manager and things might turn around. He cares about people and their experience. 2. Good selection of RV goods. The bottom line is that I'm writing this review not because I want to ruin this location but because I want to see it improve. Then... - electrical issues with tail lights on first trip - took back to CW on July 2 to get fixed - called CW July 14, trailer had not been looked at - CW called July 17 to tell us it was ready to be picked up - CW called again a few hours later on July 17 to tell us the trailer had been hit (hit and run) - Emailed camping world on July 26th to advise them to file police report on advice from our insurance company. No reply from CW - August 6 sent email to CW cooperation asking for help due to lack of communication from local - email back immediately saying they would contact local store management team - August 7 CW called back. Still no police report filled. Told us we should file one. They said they would call us back after checking with their insurance adjuster. - we filled police report August 7 - August 11 called CW and were told again we would be called back after talked to their insurance adjuster. The third time around the receptionist hung up on me. We were on our way to the western slope to celebrate our anniversary. We were starting to get concerned because our refrigerator kept going oot in the motor home. We stopped into Camping World to see if they could take a quick look and see what was going on. Sheila at the service desk was so nice. She knew the techs were really busy but still asked if one of the technicians had a minute to look at our refrigerator. A very knowledgable Casey came out, took one look and said the refrigerator was on the recall list. He was so kind to squeeze us in and install the new parts from the recall! Sales: I worked with Todd Willis he helped me find 5th wheel to fit our needs. working with him was a pleasure Service: had a few parts in the trailer that needed to be replaced parts were ordered on 12/4/2015 seven weeks later I was called to pick up parts and bring in the old parts I asked louis about camping world replacing the parts and he told me they could in 3-4 months so I did the replacement myself. next called on 9/2/16 for several warranty repairs I was scheduled to drop off the trailer on 1/4/2017 I dropped off the the trailer then was told to come and remove it from there lot 1/26/17 and to wait until I from them when the parts came in 3-4 weeks, I waited week after week made several calls to louis Baca left several messages with no response it is a major feat to get anyone to answer the phone there. on 4/10/2017 I get the call to bring the trailer in the parts are here drop off the trailer on 4/19/2017 picked up the trailer on 5/25/2017 found repairs were very sloppy such as bath vent replacement there was white caulk spread all over the roof, water lines under sink were disconnected why?, awning had been damaged in there lot they would repair it at my expense, water heater was supposedly repaired I ended up repairing it myself when I picked up the trailer the battery was completely dead due to every light switch and fan switch was left on. this is the worst service I have ever experienced I am now searching to purchase a new B Class RV and it will not be from camping world! Very disappointed with the quality of work on leveling system and other small repairs (one was a fuse replacement) as well as the service tech individual that I had to deal with. They installed new jacks without obtaining my authorization, they had my RV from 2/14/19 thru 4/27/19. Kept complaining to me that they couldn't get the right parts from the manufacturer as if I could something about it. BTW, this service department initially install the leveling system on my RV back in 2014 when the RV was brand new. I've said my piece, now I will pay my bill. However, I will never go to back to Camping World - Denver for anything and I hope that all of you who are looking to have your unit serviced there will think twice. Thanks read more

Have a few issues with my new camper and the Service Manager Wade is working on them.

Building my own camper and needed some parts for the plumbing. Everyone said to go to Camping World and they would have the parts I need. I made it to camping world and went to the parts department. The gentleman there was very nice but had no idea what I would need, he sent me to the service department and said they would probably know what I needed. I described what I needed to the service guy and he said he didnt know but could make an appointment so they could do it. I said I just needed the part and he said could make an appointment and that is all he could do. He was rude and short with me. The lady behind the service counter had a look of shock on her face when she saw how he was treating me. I left Camper World without the parts I needed on the verge of tears. I will never spend another dime at Camper World. I am a woman working hard to get things done, the one time I ask for advice on a part and I was turned away. Not a good place to do business. I will seek advice and parts someplace else. read more

I am looking to buy an rv, and went to CW first. Worst sales staff I have ever encountered, and that is saying a lot as I am in my mid fifties. They expect you to get on a waiting list and sit in their lobby. There were 8 people ahead of us, still waiting, while their sales staff was hanging out in their glass cubicles with no customers....We got up and left. We went to another dealer about a mile away and got great service. read more

Instead of going into too much detail I will just Echo what most of these other reviews state. Super disappointing as the sales experience was pretty great. I just purchased a $75,000 fifth wheel and sure enough none of the service that was supposed to be done prior to the pick up was done. We drove the hour drive two days before purchase to make sure everything was perfect and we put together a list for the service department. It looked as if the only work done was someone had lunch in our brand new fifth wheel per the grease stains all over the table when we picked it up. They have also refused to respond to our service needs at this point, even after getting the service manager involved. This is an absolute ripoff and I will never purchase anything from camping world or anyone associated with good Sam again. I'm also going to report this to the state attorney general as I believe they are breaking consumer protection laws. Keep in mind our fifth wheel is a week old. It's kind of funny that the sales guys actually sell you on the relationship you're purchasing when you buy through them and how you'll get priority on service. I have found a local company to do all the warranty work which many of my friends have had to go through as well. No need to respond camping world as this isn't the first camper I've had issues with you on and I will refuse to bring my camper there for warranty work even if the manager does it himself. read more
