I am a 66 year old woman with COPD. A year ago I sold my house and bought a fifth wheel trailer. I thought it would be perfect for me. Small enough for me to take care of. Paid cash. The trailer has had electrical problems since I moved in. Forest river has paid for replacement parts and part labor. But I have spent about $6000 of my money for a place to live while it was being repaired, dry ice when it fried the refrigerator, crock pots, Keurigs and the list goes on. I requested that camping world help out with these costs and was denied. I was told that fifth wheels weren't designed for 24/7 living altho that was one of the selling points when I bought it. Really long story short; they have NO customer service what so ever. I was interested in a camper and tried multiple times to call and every time I just got a voicemail, would leave a message, and never get a call back. I finally did an online chat which was ended in the person saying she couldn't help over the internet and she would submit my contact information to a sales person and they would respond that day.... no call after a week. We finally decided just to drive the 45 minutes in to look at the camper we were interested in, wish we hadn't wasted our time. The sales person customer service was lacking and in short he seemed distracted and more interested in getting rid of us as quickly as possible. Sorry we were looking at economical/family priced rigs, not the $100k ones that would be more profitable to you.... This place is overpriced and lacks customer service. I would be worried if I ever bought an RV from them and had an issue with it because they seem unethical enough to just avoid you. read more

Was looking for class A or class C. Salesperson was new and not very knowledgeable on tour. Was wanting to downsize from a class A diesel pusher with 40,000 miles to something smaller. Asked for a ballpark trade value, and instead of coming out to talk to me, the manager sent the following response through his inexperienced salesperson. "Could be $20k or 40k, hard to tell. Look it up in KBB and try and sell it yourself." KBB Is $50K trade value. So much for caring about the customer. Makes me wonder how they would treat me if something were wrong with unit I purchase from them. Oh no won't buy from them. read more

Don't go here to buy high dollar items. We tried our best to research dish for our rv since we already have dish at home (blah). Well, these dingbats in the store are clueless. No clue how it works, what it costs, what we needed. All the sales guy wanted to do was sell add ons which we clearly did not need. So after $450 on the system and three calls to dish we find out dvr service doesn't really exist for rvs, you can buy an external hard drive from camping world for $100 or use yours, record one channel/show at a time and not change the channel (you record and watch same show), AND you have to pay $40 to activate that dvr service on any hard drive. Mind you we asked about all this before buying the system and were told nothing about extra fees or charges. Camping world is a joke and we will be taking our future business elsewhere. read more

I am not one to air my issues in public, but Camping World of Golden has not only lost my business, they have lost my trust. We have had a history of having our past coach being left open when in their service department. Our brand new coach was in their possession for 2 week (the 2nd week was caused by a tech that was working on our coach quiting). When we came to pick up our coach, we found it unlocked. The service manager insisted that it was locked the entire time it was outside, but had just been moved. On closer inspection, it was very clear that someone had been using our coach. We found a DVD that was not our, the sink had coffee in it, the toilet was used and the loft bed looked as if someone had been in it. The service manager had no response. The GM was not in, and has not called. We are done with Camping World. I also posted on the "Ask Marcus" Camping World RV.Net board and got the typical someone from the executive team will respond....Nothing yet. read more

Andrew was wonderful. He took us to all the 5th Wheels on the list and then another that was just right. We had a great time and everyone at Camping World treated us like part of the family. If you are out shopping for a Motorhome, 5th Wheel or Travel Trailer you are not done until you have been to Camping world of Golden, CO. It's a great location with everything you need! My brand new RV has been sitting on their lot waiting for maintenance work for 8 weeks this summer! They always promise a two week turn around but never deliver. We purchased a 2016 Dutchman Aerolite from Camping World on March 5, 2016. In November of the same year, we made a service appointment for January 2017 to have the slide motor repaired/replaced as it wasn't working properly. This work was to be under warranty. The camper was delivered to the Camping World Service Dept on January 19, 2017. We had a family vacation planned in March and needed the work done on the camper by then. The "Promised Date" was February 27, 2017. We thought that was great, it would be done with plenty of time before we were leaving on vacation. We received no updates, phone calls, or emails regarding the progress of the work. When we called to check on the work (which happened multiple times), our calls were either: not answered and put through an endless loop of menus and transfers, or, on the rare occasion that the front desk did answer, we never received a return call from the service dept or service manager. It took an entire month for our camper to even get looked at! When the service dept finally did contact us on February 20th, it was to tell us that they still needed to verify that the work was under warranty and that we needed to pick up our camper until the part arrived because there was no room on their lot to store it. Why did this take an entire month? Why did the service dept not verify the warranty when our camper first arrived for work? We have to drive 1.5 hours each way to Camping World! This is not an easy task for us. When we picked our camper up (per Camping World's request) it was a mess inside. The trim had been taken off and was piled on the bed, nails and screws were scattered all over the floor and hanging out of the walls. This is unacceptable. When we were asked to pick up our camper and wait for the parts to arrive, we expected it to be in the same condition it was when we dropped it off, not completely torn apart. It is now April 2017. We have finally gotten confirmation from Camping World that the parts are in and we can bring our camper back to have the work completed. Yay! But, the work will take another 2-4 weeks!?! We have camping trips planned in May and need the work to be completed by then. But somehow, we doubt that it will be. This experience has been frustrating and time consuming, and the level of service has been unacceptable. We own a small business, if we treated our clients the way we have been treated by Camping World - we wouldn't be in business anymore. We are extremely dissatisfied with Camping World and WILL NOT recommend it to anyone. read more

Salesman Kevin Zawacki gets 5 stars, the rest of the experience was 2-star. Kevin was fantastic, really put in the effort to understand what our needs were and helped us track down the model we wanted, which was ultimately at the factory in Indiana. After completing our purchase, we now basically understand that Camping World simply doesn't care about customer service. No one is responsible for you as a customer, or for your whole purchase, so you have to stay on top of the whole thing, make sure the transaction moves along and nothing slips through the cracks. The shop/service department just pencil whips everything - the "walkthrough" was nothing more than a quick look around, we paid extra for an exterior UV treatment that was never applied (they claim it was, but a physical inspection of the camper makes it pretty obvious that's not the case, and they can't produce any evidence/documentation, "just take our word for it"). A touch screen pad wasn't functional, and they completely dropped the ball on opening a warranty ticket to get it replaced, just rushed to give us possession. Then WE discovered within 5 minutes of having it at home that the two front jacks were wired backward, so the auto-leveling didn't work. They clearly didn't check anything on this unit after it was freighted in from the manufacturer. I emailed customer service about all of this - they ignored all but the part about the UV treatment, which they again claim was done, that, "they were just out of the decals and informational kits we're supposed to give to the customer." Ha. Yeah right. What a great way to bilk everyone out of an additional $1500 per sale! Bottom line: Our Jayco camper is awesome, but we'll never give Camping World our business again. read more

On April 8, 2017 my wife and I attended the Camping World RV Show/Sale at the Denver Merchandise Mart. We found a Real-Lite 18X that we decided we liked better than the Rpod 179 we had. So we decided to purchase it, Camping World informed us that the unit on the showroom floor had just been sold but we could order another one. We decided to go ahead and order it, put $ 2000.00 down and was told it would be 8 to 10 weeks for delivery. The 1st week in may we received a phone call from out salesman that he had good new, we could pick up the trailer at the Golden location rather than have to go to Longmont, and the trailer should be here by the middle of May. On May 26th I called to get an update and was told the trailer had never been ordered. We could get a refund (Which I should have done) or place the order and wait another 10 weeks. On Saturday May 27th we decided instead to purchase a Palomini 180FB, basically the same floor plan. We picked that up on Friday June 2nd, it had been in the hailstorm that hit the Denver area and needed some work. We were told the work was completed except the awning fabric needed to be replaced, they would order that and it should be in in 2 weeks. On June 19th I received an email from Eric Kirkpatrick with a survey attached, and the email said if I can't give them a satisfactory survey to please contact him. Still not having heard a word on the awning fabric I replied to Eric on July 11th and asked about the awning and also we had discovered that the pass through storage had 2 different locks and I could only open the door on the curb side of the trailer, He checked with his parts department and said the fabric was 8 to 10 days out. Which tells me it was never ordered just like the trailer was never ordered. We took the trailer out for the first time on July 28th only to find that the water line to the toilet leaks and makes the water system unusable. The roof around the bathroom roof vent leaks, and the screen on that roof vent will not stay in place. I contacted Eric again on Monday 7/31, he forwarded the email onto Louis Baca who I would assume is in parts or service to reach out to me with an update and get the repair setup. It's now Wednesday 8/2 and as usual I have heard NOTHING... I believe this was the biggest mistake I have ever made and should have just walked away and never returned to Camping World. I kick myself for not checking with the BBB if I had I would never have stepped foot in this place what a dishonest company and that's what they are know for. Now I'm working directly with the Manufacturer to try to get the issues resolved. read more

Been trying to call since last Thursday to have warranty work done on my trailer. When I get thru to the service department, the vm says to email. I have emailed what I need done. Response was end of August. Been emailing and calling to confirm a date, with no response back all week. Tried calling 14 times this week, and can't get anyone to answer. Eventually the voicemail says to call back, and hangs up. I have now contacted the manufacturer and they have given me permission to get a quote from someone else, and the will approve. Jayco customer service gets it. Camping World does not. Very disappointed read more

we just purchased a 2018 forest river forester, class c. from start to finish, we had a very positive experience. no high pressure sales pitch, financing was excellent. my only complaint is that we weren't provided with an owner's manual that details maintenance, de-winterization, etc. individual items had literature, but details for essential maintenance were missing. for a coach this nice, an owner's manual shouldn't be a problem. we're in the process of obtaining information, and certain they will work with us. i'd recommend this dealership is you are looking for an rv. we were treated with respect throughout the entire purchase. read more

Jeffery K. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER BUY A RV FROM THIS PLACE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from Camping World Golden COLORADO. Save YOURSELF grief AND GO ELSWHERE. We purchased a Thor Venetian form Bill Hurtado. This guy lies straight to your face, they were supposed to have the coach 100% ready the day we arrived to purchase. The day we arrived the generator would not run, the sealant that we paid $1600 extra for was not complete. And they sure would not admit to the sealant complete. At this point I knew we had been screwed by this place. I challenged them and then they finally said "no we didn't apply the sealant". We had to go back a second day for the sealant to be installed, we live 3 hours away one way. We were promised several items for the coach: Tie tab corner, new light lens, keys etc. THESE ITEMS NEVER ARRIVED OR IF YOU CALL AND ASK BILL HURTADO YOUR SALEMAN WHO SAID "HE WAS YOUR DEALER FOR LIFE". He'll TELL YOU HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO CHECK ON THESE PROMISED ITEMS FOR YOU. Plus Bill doesn't answer emails either so don't waste your time emailing him. Bill and Stephan the Finance Manager will drop you faster than a hot potato and look for the next customer to screw. We took the coach back a second time for the sealant to be applied, I asked Bill Hurtado to have the installed broken vacuum to be looked at during the visit. He told me the tech said "it would take 6 hours to remove panels and fine the problem". I fixed it myself in 20 minutes. My advice is "stay away from CAMPING WORLD GOLDEN" or drop a 50lb anvil on your foot the pain is more tolerable. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, "CAMPING WORLD GOLDEN" read more

We recently bought a used (2016) fifth wheel from Camping Work of Denver and it was the worst experience ever. When we first looked at the camper we identified some items that needed to be fixed on the camper, they agreed to have everything fixed and have the camper cleaned before we picked it up. We were scheduled to pick up on a Wednesday when we got there nothing was done, one thing they were supposed to do was put a new awning on, when we got there to pick it up they hadn't even ordered the awning. We were very clear when we agreed to buy the camper that we had a trip planned and they promised to have everything fixed before our trip. They also promised to have the camper cleaned from top to bottom, especially with COVID concerns. When we got there it was not even cleaned, we spent a whole day cleaning it once we got home, it was full of dog hair and dirt. We pointed out everything that needed fixed, paid for the POS, and were then told to come back Friday, it was still not ready. We waited for hours for it to be fixed. The worst part is when we went on our first camping trip we discovered the black tank, yes the crapper was completely full. We asked several times if this was done and they told us it was! Imagine our horror when we discovered we had to dump someone else's crap, this was not a good way to start our first camping trip in our new camper. I would never buy anything from this place. The BBB will be getting a message from us as well so will the health department!!!! Do not buy from Camping World of Denver!!!! In reality they don't even deserve 1 star! read more

Repeatedly have called in looking for different parts. And today is no different. The person on the phone says they have the part. I arrive and they don't even support the brand name let alone the part. The parts guy I spoke with said "&&&& go to the competition this is the system I have and my hands are tied". Iwould say customer gone. But I can honestly say they have always led me astray. From a family of avid RV people there are plenty of other places. I strongly disagree with even a 1 star rating. We have purchased and been dealing with the Golden location. This place is horribly managed and nobody ever claims responsibility for anything. We have had nothing but trouble from the day we went to pickup our camper...actually it was a mess even BEFORE we got the camper. They didn't get the financing in order until less than 24 hours before the time we were supposed to pick the trailer up (they had 2 weeks from the time we bought the camper to when we picked it up). When we got there nobody knew where the trailer was or who was supposed to be helping us. While they were trying to figure that out, the finance guy came out and told us we hadn't provided enough insurance documentation (even though we submitted the exact document they asked for). Then we were told we didn't have the right equipment to pickup the trailer and we needed to spend another $400+ to get the right equipment. Luckily we were able to purchase the equipment and have someone else put it in for half the cost, because these guys are a rip off. We were there for over 2 hours trying to pickup the trailer!! Fast forward to March 2019. We turned our camper in for warranty work in October of 2018 and we still do not have it back. We have called probably 25 different times and have gotten nowhere. After the phone rings for 2 minutes it forwards to the corporate office and the lady at the front just puts you back into the loop. I finally got through to the service manager who gave me his cell phone. He said he was new but he would go back, and put his hands on my trailer and call me right back.....hahaha yeah right. Husband called and nothing. Husband called and got the general manager of he store's cell phone number. Left a message....nothing. This place is a joke! Run away as far and as fast as you again!!! This company thinks they have the control on the marketplace because they are such a large nationwide company. Do not give them any more business. You will undoubtedly waste your time and money with these sleazy people. It wouldn't take much to get 100% improvement on customer service if you go elsewhere. It's non-existent here. read more

Just bought a new Jayco Hummingbird and had an excellend experience. Charly who is not even a salesman showed us campers late one night when my gf and I were just walking around. He suggested we check out the RV show in Denver to check them out. We fell in love with the campers and Michael Flatness showed us around. Very impressed with the friendliness and help the staff offered us. We found the camper that we wanted and fell in love with our new camper. Lee showed us inside our camper once we made the purhchase and was super helpful. Overall a great experience and we are very excited !!! read more

The salesman will promise you the moon, the finance guy will try to high pressure up-sell you and when you need any kind of service there is no one home. We purchased a brand new $90,000 Class C from these clowns and I have regretted ever crossing the threshold of this establishment. They Didn't get all these one star reviews for nothing. First of all DON'T buy the extended warranty. Why?? What little it will cover doesn't meet the deductible. It covers pretty much nothing. 2nd issue, We determined our salesman did damage to the camper when we went to pick it up. Apparently he had never closed a slide out before. When he closed it in the wrong order he bent multiple tracks inside the trailer including the slide out latches but we didn't find this out till after we went to use it. 3rd issue, We were promised some missing or broken parts when we left with the lot with the trailer. Well... 8 phone calls, three emails to corporate and three months later we finally got them. We would go anywhere but this place again. Polite, helpful staff, but outrageous and deceptive pricing. I needed a plug extender for my horse trailer, and I found sort of what I needed (except it wasn't what I was expecting and I'm going to have to have someone install it who knows what they're doing). The price listed on the item said $41. When I went to pay, the cashier asked if I had a "Good Sam" membership, which i didn't. I asked if I would get a discount on the extender if I got the membership and he said it would be $4 off. But the cost of a year membership was $20, and I doubt I'll ever shop here again so it obviously wasn't worth it. So I prepared to pay the $41 (+ tax) that the item was listed for, yet it ended up being $15 more than that! When I asked why, he told me that the price listed is only for the "Good Sam" members. I find this to be very deceptive. I would avoid shopping here again if I can. No hate to the employees though. Just the company. read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would. Our purchasing experience in August 2017 was really a positive experience and I have told everyone they should go there to look at campers. When we picked up our brand new camper on 8/16/17 the awning had hail damage and needed to be replaced. At that time we were told it would be 2-3 weeks. In January I emailed our sales person, he basically was done with the sale and moved me over to the service department without providing help. Very long story, but after 8 months of having our brand new camper we had to fight to get an appointment set up for 4/20/18. We were told to have our camper there at 8am sharp (we arrived at 7:30 am). We checked back in at 3:30 pm that day and they had not touched the camper and we were told they would need to keep it for a couple of days. Never mind the fact I had already told the manager, Heather, we lived 5 hours away and leaving it didn't work for us (that was two weeks prior on the phone). They told me they wouldn't be able to replace it until at least July or August. i said a full year to fix a part that should have been taken care of before we took possession of our camper was not going to take a year. My husband then became very upset. They offered us a $50 gift card for our inconvenience. He told them to forget it. Heather stated the service manager (title?) was going to work on our camper and it would be 1.5 hours. We said we would wait in our truck in the parking lot. 40 minutes late she came to the window and said it was done and we could take it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? All of that for 40 minutes. If we can find a service dealer for Jayco in another town we will NEVER EVER go back Camping World in Golden, CO. What a huge disappointment. read more

My wife and I went to Camping World about a week ago to look for a new class A motor home. We initially dealt with Garrett, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really took his time with us. After we settled on a model we liked, we started negotiating. At some point Garrett asked for a deposit check so te managers would know we were serious. I wrote out a check for $5000.00. We also filled out a credit app for my wife and me. They said it may take a bit to get an approval, so we could leave and they would call us when they get an approval. When we got home we noticed two inquiries on both of our credit. Two days later I noticed that not only did they pull our credit 3-4 more times, but they also attempted to deposit the check I gave them. We hadn't even been approved or even picked the exact RV we were going to buy, we only knew the model we wanted. I called and spoke to someone in finance who was very surprised at everything I relayed to him. I asked him to please not run my credit anymore. Either get it approved or not, but stop running my credit. He agreed so I thought it was settled. The next day my credit and my wife's credit were pulled 4 more times. I called and spoke to Matthew, the General Manager at that location. As I tried to explain to him what was going on, he promptly cut me off saying, "time out, time out time out!" in a very loud, aggressive voice. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He said that I filled out a credit app and he can run my credit as much as he needs and that he was allowed to deposit my check. I have probably bought 40-50 cars in my life, mostly purchased new at dealerships. I have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism that Matthew showed. This is how they treat a customer that was there to buy a $150,000 motor home. If you are in the market for an RV, I strongly urge everyone out there to go to any of the hundreds of other dealerships out there. The management is rude, and they act like they are doing you a favor by selling you one. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I will pay thousands extra on my next camper just to avoid this horrible company all together. First of all, we picked out a camper and put a down payment on it and they sold it right out from under us. Next, they get Coleman to remake that exact camper within a week. Within three weeks of having the camper everything fell apart! I mean EVERYTHING. The sink fell out, all the cabinets, heater broke, floors came up, literally everything. We took it back, it was under the "1 year warranty." They took the camper, held it for 4 weeks, didn't fix ANYTHING. And claimed it wasn't under warranty because the year had passed even though they took the camper and began " working on it" a month before that deadline. They claimed Coleman wouldn't fix anything, but we took it to another place with diligent workers and they got everything handled and still let us use the warranty because of how bad our experience was with camping world. I recently bought a used 2012 Class C motorhome from camping world Denver and my overall experience was positive. I was treated professionally by the entire staff throughout the few times I visited this location until I drove off with my RV. My salesman Andrew Wutke went above and beyond with me from the moment I walked in the door until the day I drove off. He was honest, fair, and professional at all times. Overall I would recommend this location. I did not experience the negative aspects mentioned in previous yelp reviews about this location. I do believe they have taken positive strives to better their customer service. The only hiccup I had was minor. They ordered the wrong part which caused me to have to come back the next day to have my generator pump installed. It seemed to be an honest mistake and it was rectified quickly and professionally. I look forward to dealing with this location again along with professional salesman like Andrew Wutke. read more

Worst customer service ever. "DON'T" purchase through this company. It's been over a week, I called over the phone to purchase an RV. They require a $500 deposit. I can hardly get ahold of anyone, throughout the week. As of today I haven't been able to reach even one person. I've left voicemails, and emails. I am calling my bank tomorrow to dispute the $500 charge. As soon as I can get this figured out with my bank as far as getting my $500 refunded back to me I will shopping else where for our RV. We were visiting Denver from Houston and had a minor problem with our RV. I tried calling this location 4 times and got voicemail every time. Since we were close by we decided to stop in to see if they could help us. First we had to wait several minutes to get someone to acknowledge us and then they were very rude saying they were way backed up and weren't going to help us. I am giving National General ins Co. an F rating,,A Camping World co. They are billing me for more ins. coverage after we had cancelled our coverage due the the rise in cost. We had informed them of this and had delivered declaration page to them three different times, They chose to keep the coverage in place at the cost of $179.12 for the month. After arguing with them it is now $100. 12 but we should not be forced to pay this at all. They threatened to turn the 179 to collections if not paid, F rating is what they deserve. read more

Camping World, Golden location - Went to buy a brand new travel trailer, $30k, and possibly RV for my parents, $80k. I let Bill (salesman) know we wanted to purchase asap to possibly leave on a camping trip on June 25th. I called the day after visiting to apply and put down a deposit. I've had zero phone calls or emails from Bill even though sending several. Finally got ahold of Lily (finance) after 2 emails and 2 phone messages, and was advised Bill would be contacted to help finalize. Still no response. After conversation with Lily, sent email last week and was acknowledged and asked Lily for a call back, which never happened even though she stated she had the information and was ready to talk. I was waiting to find out about the finance application, options and discuss possibly paying cash for both purchases, over $100k. I specifically told Bill I was looking and almost wanted to buy from him because of his great customer service toward us and the kids. Went WAY downhill after that. Called and left a message for Marc...the "CEO". On his voicemail it promises his assistance in the best experience. Never even called back. As a business owner, this is at the top of my list as one of the worst levels of service I've ever had. I'll make sure to document my experience as a potential customer. Super frustrating, unprofessional and rude. I'll take my business back to Kettlesen (now Gander). Should have read the horrible reviews for this place. read more

Golden, Colorado Camping World. Marcus, Marcus, Marcus..... To quote you - "People, Process and Product". On Sunday May 12th we went to the Camping World in Golden. 3 strikes - Product - I ordered online from Camping World on May 7th. Item 34763 Little Red Campfire and received it on Friday May 11, 2018. 1 small piece was broken (the ceramic disc) People and Process - "If I swap out that broken piece with our display, I'll get fired." (Really?!?! No fear in that workplace, nor is there any creative thinking or customer service to fix the problem.) "There are 7 of these on the truck of 24 pallets that just arrived but we won't have it unloaded until Thursday." When I told her we are leaving for a camping trip on Wednesday, it made no difference - nothing she could do. Just keep telling the customer NO and the get fired line. As CEO, Marcus should really focus on his own problems with his own stores first!! read more

Purchased a NEW 2018 Travato59K December 9,2017. We had a terrific salesman, Kevin. He took time with us and walked us through systems. Very supportive and has actually done follow up calls with us. We purchased this NEW vehicle missing a screen door and needing a few minor repairs, and still DO not have the screen door as of posting this April 24, 2018. I am still waiting to hear back from them. The service department is a mess. They called us that our parts were in on Feb 1, 2018 but the first appointment I could get was March 7th. On March 7th I spent 4 hours there and left with NO screen door, my vehicle leaking antifreeze and a rubber gasket and paper towels on my counter. I had to return to the dealership to have the technician come out and finish the job (changing to the right water filter) and clean up the spill. We made a big mistake buying our NEW Winnebago Travato here because of the service department. Having reliable and a supportive service department is very important to us with a Winnebago. What good is a warranty when you can't get scheduled to have the work done? My advice is to make sure you check out the service department before buying a vehicle here. read more

This store should just give up because customer nor service are in their vocabulary. We bought a new class A in January 2014 and once we signed the contract they were through serving. We have had it in about 4 times and each time the service has been worse. The list is too long to put here but i have to share the latest. Today when we picked it up there was a partial set of new keys. Turns out they lost our keys, had a locksmith come out to make a set but FORGOT that we have cubby and grill work keys which were not made. They did not didn't even have the courtesy to tell us. I had to go back in and ask where my keys were. They were very blasé' about the whole thing and said they knew the keys would turn up. Wanna bet they leave me a message if they find them telling me i can drive out and pick them up? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!! read more

Terrible service. Just wanted an oil change. Called 5 different times and talked to a service rep. Each time they said they needed to forward the message to the "scheduler" and they would call me back. Never did. Finally my secretary called a month later and was able to schedule it Nov 5. When I dropped it off in the morning I was told that I needed to pick it up the same day because they didn't have room to keep it over night. OK. So I called 3 times during afternoon. To check when I could pick it up. Ever time I called I was transferred to corporate who said the same think that they would send the message to golden and someone would call me back. Never happened. Everyone at the shop (except the glad handing salesmen) seemed completely burned out and didn't want to deal with any issues. I will definitely find a new service company. read more

I have been taking my Jayco eagle trailer to camping world golden for 9 months for service. 1st. Installed a new mirror in the bathroom it fell off the first trip I took with the trailer. ordered new mirror said I would install myself 4 months ago. went in 2 days ago, they don't show ordered! 3 months ago brought the trailer there to show several warranty issues. again, 2 days ago, nothing ordered! about 1 month ago, tire sheared off trailer while driving on a highway. called camping world was on hold for at least 30 minutes trying to see if they could help. the 3rd time I called, got hold of the manager, was on speaker phone. the manager told me I could bring it in December for repairs, he laughed and hung up. I reported them to corporate. Donny left me a message to call him with any issues. left 3 messages and not one was returned. I will NEVER go to any camping world again! read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. If you can find another place to take your motorhome/ or trailer do it. We just got our trailer out of their so called repair shop yesterday. Our refrigerator frame cracked right before we took off on our trip in September. We used it on that trip being very careful so the door wouldn't fall off. Took the trailer in to Camping World, Golden CO September 17, 2015 and just picked it up yesterday October 29, 2015 - 6 FREAKEN WEEKS. We missed a trip with our friends because they were not in any rush to get our trailer fixed. They called us 3 1/2 weeks after the trailer had been in their shop to tell us the parts arrived - well, then what took 3 more weeks to put the new parts in? Every time we called, the damn phone system kept looping and when it we finally did get through it was to Louis Baca's voice mail - supposedly he is the manager of the service shop. He has the absolute worst customer service - all he could say when we were there yesterday picking up our trailer was "I'm done talking" - he's very disrespectful and we can't believe that Camping World would give someone with such poor customer relations the title of "Manager" - Never, Ever, Ever again will we take our trailer there for repair nor will we ever patronize their business in any way - and we have plans to purchase a nice 5th wheel in the future - but you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be from this place. Plus, the way the "fixed" our refrigerator frame looks like a 6th grader did it - the screws are not flush with the frame, the are screwed in crooked and the crazy glue my husband used to hold another piece of the frame together was untouched - they never replaced it - what gives? I hope someone from Camping World reads these reviews, because there are more unfavorable reviews than favorable. My next letter is going to be to Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of camping world. You might have seen him on the television show "The Profit" - where he turns failing businesses around to be successful. - Please Marcus - take a look at the Camping World in Golden - it is a fricken mess and needs your expertise that you have provided failing business owners. I know there are a lot of Camping Worlds out there, but as CEO - this one demands your attention - especially in the scheduling arena and customer relations - mainly Louis Baca. read more
