I wish there was an option for 0 stars. When we purchased the trailer from Camping World they were extremely pushy with the warranty to the point where I got up to leave. We didn't finance and I guess they were trying to make money. couple months later the generator quit. I called and was told to bring it in. It sat two weeks and was in the same spot when I went to pick it up. Never looked at it. Couldn't use the generator all fall. Took it back in and the $600 carb was bad from sitting on top of the original failures. My jack foot was missing when I picked it up. The trailer sat on the the lot for 2 weeks because no one knew what to do to it. They are extremely bad at service and I would never buy from them. The guys doing repairs are hard to understand. I was going to finance a used pop up camper from them, the first finance jabronie that I spoke to said that with my good credit rating it would be no problem financing the whole amount but when It came to signing the final paperwork I was turned over to what I assume was the resident "used car salesman", he (steve, watch out for this one) suddenly changed the deal and said that I would have to put 10% down. I told him that was not the deal I had agreed to and I would not alter the original deal, he stood firm so I walked. I will not deal with these crooks again and I recommend you don't either but if you do and if you have to deal with "steve" get everything in writing because they will try to put it to you! read more

If I could give this company negative stars I would. We took our trailer to them in April to have a small leak and heater fixed. They said that they were busy so it might be a while before they could get to it. We figured a few weeks and were understanding about it, but instead of weeks it was months. They literally forgot about it and left it out in the weather for months. During which time it rained a lot and the small amount of damage in the front drivers side corner of the trailer and a little bit of damage in that closet grew to needing the whole front end and bed redone. When we went to check on it we had found out that they had lost our trailer. The service manager who was supposed to be working on it signed it off and left to work elsewhere. No other manager had checked off on his work. It took them half an hour just to find our camper and assess the damage. When we talked about it with the manager at the desk he said that it was a dry summer so the damage wasn't their fault. The truth is that this spring in summer in 2018 was very wet indeed. So we left it in their hands to fix it again and they said "Don't worry, we will take care of you." The deal was that they were going to fix it and pay for some of it on their own dime. But we were quoted a price of $2,000 to get the damage fixed and they would fix the heater for no cost to us. We weren't happy about it but agreed. Then, a couple of weeks later, they fixed it and gave us a quote of $3,300. Now we didn't have that much saved up to pay for this. When we asked them what are we supposed to do while we save up the rest of the money to pay for it they offered a storage daily holding fee. So we're supposed to pay them a storage fee for the same travel trailer that they left out in the weather for most of the spring and summer free and forgotten about? When we checked out the trailer after the work was done on it the work was not finished and under the mattress the wood was still moldy. The closet was still damaged. And they put a black headboard in an oak trailer that stood out like a sore thumb. While checking out the trailer and asking if they fixed the closet and under the bed they kept changing their story and back tracking their sentences. Meanwhile saying "We'll take care of you." Actions speak louder than words and their words have no value. I am not impressed and we will never do business with them again. read more

Friendly and helpful service and staff however - When we purchased a brand new travel trailer and roadside service, we got as far a the Bobby Hopper tunnel and blew a tire. Called for roadside assistance and were told it was not activated for 48 hours. Changed tire myself and found what looked like a lawn mower repair plug in the tire. Camping world did pay for a replacement tire. Cancelled roadside assistance and have yet to receive a refund 3 months later. read more

I do not recommend Camping World of NW Arkansas for any type of service work. They kept our fifth wheel 2 weeks longer than they promised then overcharged for the repairs. The service manager is never available and does not return calls as his voice mail promises. We're still waiting 5 weeks later for the promised refund or the overcharge that can only be done by check for some reason. Hmmm...they don't know how to process a credit on a credit card? No, it must be by check. I've now left a voice mail for the general manager. We'll see if I get a call back or a refund check. read more

Update to my original review. I finally decided to cover the cost of the part and service myself and send it in to Keystone to hopefully get reimbursed. The disappointing piece to this is since my RV was brand new, no parts store carries any parts on my refrigerator. So now, I have to wait another 3 weeks before Norcold and send the part to the technician. This is crazy. Buy a brand new RV and then have to wait a total now of 6 weeks before getting my refrigerator fixed. Again, this is me doing all the calling and leg work. My dealer said it's all up to me. read more

After spending several months researching which 5th wheel trailer my wife and I wanted, we decided that the Keystone 305RL was the model we wanted and we located one at the Camping World store in Lowell Arkansas (Camping World of Northwest Arkansas) that we really liked. We live 4 hours away in Oklahoma and made the drive out to visit their store and talk to their salesman, then went back home to talk about it some more. Finally after more research we made a written "Out the Door" offer via email based on their salesman telling us that Oklahoma state tax and licensing would be required and would be included in the total price. Our offer was accepted, but what I didn't discover until after the sale and only when I went to get the trailer registered in Oklahoma was that they had lowered the price of the trailer to meet our offer by intentionally leaving out ALL of the applicable state and local sales tax and registration fees. They had breezed past all of this when reviewing our contract with us, and while I admit that I have ultimate responsibility for reviewing and understanding each and every line of information on that contract, I personally think their actions were pretty shady and they're now standing back claiming that "a contract is a contract", regardless of what their salesman had verbally told us. So Camping World Corporation and in particular; Camping World of Northwest Arkansas, here's what you fail to realize; word of mouth is your best and worst form of advertising. And in this case, I will promise you that I will do my very best to steer any and every one away from doing business with you for any type of purchase. You also fail to realize that the $2200 in sales tax I ended up having to add to what I thought was my "Out the Door" price is just a fraction of what I will end up spending for the additional upgrades I had already talked to you about coming back for. You can guarantee that I will go to an independent Cummins Onan dealer for installation of that 5.5Kw generator, and to eTrailer.com for the additional $1000 in backup camera and TPMS systems. I had also planned on purchasing the loads of "odds and ends" that are also needed for RV'ing from your Camping World website, but will now go to eTrailer.com or other sites for each of those items too. I've already purchased several thousands of dollars' worth of trailering, towing and truck equipment from eTrailer.com and have never had an issue with either their products or customer service. Unfortunately I can't say that about Camping World. read more

My Wife and I bought a new Keystone Cougar 5th wheel from Camping World in Lowell, AR. The sales experience was subpar but things got much worse after signing the papers. During our walkthrough there were multiple quality issues identified with the unit that should have been addressed by their inspection. I would have turned the unit down but we loved the discontinued floor plan and this unit was the last one in the state. During the inspection I was instructed to take the camper and use it for 90 days all while making a list of everything I would need repaired. Not buying into it, I took pictures of the issues during our walkthrough and emailed them to the head of service before we drove off with it. Months later I still have not received a hint of acknowledgement from Camping World on the items. During our second camping trip with my family, the outside spray port faucet starting leaking. The leak is bad enough that the camper is unusable until it is repaired. I took pictures/video and sent to Camping World as instructed when I talked to their service dept. After three emails, two phone calls, and one left message I am two weeks into the request without a clue if they have even looked at my issue. I was asked it I could bring my 3 month old camper in to them for inspection... no way they are touching it! read more

When I purchased a camper in late May of this year I was told that the finance company required me to purchase the extended warranty. When questioned repeatedly about this I received the same answer: the finance company required I purchase the warranty. No paper work was given to me me the day I signed the papers. Once I received the paper work in the mail I noticed a paper that states the purchase of warranty can not be required to obtain financing. I cancelled the warranty in June and have been given the run around as to where my money was ever since. I was told the release would be sent to the dealership and should have a check either refunded to me or applied to my loan by mid August. I called the local dealership several times with no avail. All I get are excuses as to why they have not refunded my money yet such as it was sent to a different dealership, we haven't received the paperwork from the main office, we have a new account manager, etc. This has cost me over $200 EXTRA in taxes and interest fees. I hate that this is the only dealership around that carried the camper I wanted. I knew from the beginning they were not a decent dealership but I had no choice if I wanted to be happy with the camper itself. read more
