I had a slide out problem so I decided to have these people look at it. I called to set up a appointment and had to leave a message. Next day...... left message. Next day...... left message. Finally I got ahold of someone and set up an appointment. When I took it to them we went over the problem and I had to leave it. (no problem). A few days later, they called me and told me what all had to be change so I asked for a price. They said they wasn't able to get ahold of the people that made the part yet but would be calling me as soon as they did. A week later, I still hadn't heard from them so I called. No answer, left message. This went on for 4 days. The following week, they called me said they finally got ahold of Lippert and the price was almost $2000.00 to replace the railing on both sides of the slide out. I told them to hold off and I would be coming and getting it on Saturday. When I arrived, we walked through what they was talking about. After I hooked up and looked around to make sure there was no damage to my rv before I left, I opened the cubby hole door and my master commode was sitting there. After I said something about it, they said they would put it back in but it would be a little while. Being a plumber, I said I would do it myself. When I started to install it back, I noticed that some of the parts wasn't there and I had to make-shift it to work but I did get it put back. Back to the slide out. After I got it back, I called Lippert myself. Remind you, it took them over a week to get a answer. As soon as I called, I had someone on the phone in less that 2 minutes and a answer and price in less that 10. I told them that Camping World said it would take 8 hours to fix this problem. They said that in there repair book, it says it would only take 4 hours. Price on the parts was $750.00. (They quoted me 8 hours and almost a $1000.00 for the parts.) So I ordered it and I'm doing it myself! Sad that a company gets so big that customer service is not a priority anymore. read more

They wait until they set the hook in you on the one you want, then come back with the "Sorry, i was a bit off on the price, its actually ___ " then they make you negotiate down to the price you originally thought your were paying. Classic scumbag used car salesman tactics. 2. Rush you out the door. Sign the paperwork and get the fuck out. Rushed through the 'inspection' skipping over just about everything one would need to know to effectively operate the trailer. 3. The trailers are abbbbbbbbbbsolute fucking garbage. Our experience with our RV purchase from Camping World Nashville has been a nightmare. We had problems with a 2021 brand new Freedom Elite since day one. 1) The mildest issue was that the vehicle was winterized, and no one bothered to tell us that there was such a thing, so we had no water or hot water; 2) The purpose of buying an RV was to travel together. The fuses were blown and UHaul could not connect the car dolly, so we had to drive 2 days separately. We had to take it and get it diagnosed somewhere out of the way, buy and replace the fuse ourselves, to finally be able to hitch the car; 3) We had an issue with tire pressure. We had purchased additional warranty, and we were sent to an affiliate to be checked out. A day later, same thing. They wanted us to pay $400 for a replacement tire. We had to wait in a truckers' tire shop half a day, for roadside assistance, and we're still waiting (we are now 3 days behind on our itinerary, and this is not a vacation trip - we are moving for work); 4) Structural defects: the microwave and toilet seat shift, the awning does not open, there is a water leak in the storage cubbies due to the sealant rubber coming off. The walls cave, the extensions doesn't fully retract, the sliding door does not lock, causing it to shift constantly when on the road. I called Camping Wold, and got the "oh well, take it up with our service department" nonchalant response. No help, guidance or direction. This RV cost $114K. The most unreliable thing we have ever bought, and the store's team could not have cared less. They are not trustworthy. read more

So I'm new to the RV World and was going into it from the deep zone right off the get go. I went to CW in Nashville to do some fact finding and gather information, when I had the pleasure of meeting "Doc" the salesman. Super informative and made me, and my family, feel very welcomed and like we were part of the family. Told us about many of the pitfalls new RV owners fall into. Pointed out many things we should keep in mind, and he spent close to 3 hours walking around with us. Then we found it! The perfect one that had everything we could want or hope for. We didn't even discuss the price. I'm old school and still feel that you should always negotiate the price, on anything. I came to terms that the price is the price it is, and went on with this journey. The "paperwork" was a sheet of paper that Doc had made notes on. He told us the steps involved would be: 1. Fill out the paperwork 2. Give deposit to "hold the deal" 2. Get credit score 3.Someone in Finance Department will contact you in 24 to 72 hours to set up the delivery and finial paperwork process if your approved. So after four days of not hearing a word, I thought I would reach out to them. Surprising, no one at the dealership had any information, but they were happy to take my name and number so that someone could call me right back. My high of being a RV owner had passed at this point. Funny how then you start to recall all the little things that just didn't seem right at the time. I recall pointing out cracks in the wood finish around the slide. The chipping of the veneer around the doorways, the large dent under the sofa that appeared as if someone kicked it, and on and on. I decided that this is enough on Monday, a week after we did the "paperwork" and not a word from the sales department or the finance department. I found a number that was to someone in the corporate office. I explained all of the mishap to the young lady, and she let me know she would take my name and number so someone could contact me about this horrible experience. At this point I still have not heard a word from anyone at CW, nor have I got my $1000.00 dollar deposit back! The kicker of the whole experience, if someone had just simply called to let me know the status of the deal, all would have been forgiven. To not have any communication with a customer is not a very smart sales plain. If you want to move units off your lot, then complete the sales process. If you can't close the sale, at least keep the customer in the loop as to what is going on, and if it is 100% a no go, give the customer back the money he/she put down. Business 101. read more

One of the worst camping world very pushy people work there called non stop when I told what day I'd pick up my new rv. Once they got our money they didn't care. So unorganized and ridiculous. Cam back less than one month later because of how many things were broke or didn't work left it there for over a week and no one had even stepped foot inside so I had to bring it back after I got back from a trip. Well we went in to look at RVs because I am a traveling medical professional and I am looking at traveling in one. Well they don't even let you look at them like other places. They make you sit down and they take your information then go back in an office (which is sketchy as shit to me). Then they show you what they think you can afford. They showed me an old as dirt rv with stains and such all over the thing. An American Eagle on the back that was coming off. I said I needed a new RV because of how much I will be traveling. He said they didn't have anything else. In a lot full of brand now RVs. He was rude, not helpful and looked at me like I couldn't afford it. Little does he know I have plenty of money. This place is awful. Go next door to Cullum and Maxey..much better customer service and you can look at whatever camper/RV you want without having to give out your info. read more

We were contacted by Camping World about consigning our camper with them. I think that it's important to know that they contacted us. That led us to believe they actually wanted to sell it. We took the camper in November 2021 for inspection. The price we were guaranteed for the sale was what we were looking for, so we left it. They priced it WAY above what it was worth giving them basically a 65% commission. Our thought was "more power to them" if they can get that price. I know they can't guaranty to sell the camper. But, they were very optimistic. Then there were crickets for 2 months. Not a word from them. We contacted them in January just to check. They were still optimistic it would sell when warmer weather hit. We finally heard from the consignment manager in March. She wanted to drop their overly inflated price if we would in turn drop what we agreed to receive. Our response was we felt they could lower their end to a reasonable price and still make a 30 - 35% commission. Especially, since the weather was getting pretty. Crickets again until we contacted them end of April 2022. They basically told us that they were going to drop our end by $4000 or we could come pick it up. We did pick it up. When we did, the original person we consigned with was not there. My husband showed up, picked up the camper and got the title all without showing any form of identification. They had to move 15 other campers to get to it, then just dropped it in the middle of the parking lot. Dead battery and all. The story is too long to list here. However, their repair shop is the worst in customer service, and their is constant employee turnover in this shop as well. They make you feel good and you think they have addressed the problem, but you go to inspect, and the problem has not been addressed. Also, your RV is dirty and filthy as they don't clean up after themselves or the job. Finally, if items are missing, you must submit a claim insurance. They take no responsibility for missing items whatsoever. With employee turnover, there is thievery. We did address all this with the service manager, and as expected, got no where. This is the second time we have trusted them with our rig, and their service was worse the second time around. Shame on us for trusting them again and shame on them. They will sell you a rig no problem and kiss the ring to do so, but just don't have the capacity to understood quality controls for their customer service in the repair shop. This standard of subpar customer service is also noticeable in the store employees. There are no standards for customer service. Camping World..."It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!" Do not take your rig here for repairs. They have lost our business in sales and repairs. Let me start by saying I am from a era and generation where a mans word and a handshake are concrete. Long story short, my wife and I are in the market for a pull behind travel trailer and after several weeks of searching and visiting several stores, including Camping World in Nashville we finally landed on the Sunset Trail, Grand Reserve, 33si. After the normal negotiating process, I got a voicemail from Matt at camping world stating that he did some pulling for us and was willing to sell us the RV for $32,172.68 "OUT THE DOOR". So, based on that voicemail, we went back to camping world today to lock in the deal and bring the RV home... Only to find that Matt "must have mis-spoke" and that was not the out the door price. I even replayed the voicemail for him and again he said he must have "mis-spoke"... Needless to say, I said "we don't have anything else to talk about" and we left. I called Josh, the sales manager, and informed him of our disappointment in being lied to and that it was not about the money, but 100% about the principle of being a man of your word. Josh supported Matts decision and therefore fell into the same category, and even have the nerve to quote me a new price of about $2,000 more! I'm hoping that this review will inform everyone that reads it to please do yourself a favor and do your shopping elsewhere, where maybe we can get back to the basics of a handshake and a man's word, being a bond. The worst experience we had dealing with everyone there. We were there to help my in-laws trade in their camper for a new one. It felt like they didn't even care if they sold a camper. I know my MIL had to call several times just to get the process going and the receptionist at the front is very rude. Camping worlds excuse was, she's temporary. So that makes it ok that she's rude to the people calling to find out where in the process their paperwork is. There are so much more I can say about our experience but that would take all day. I was nervous about taking my new camper to CW in Nashville after reading all the negative reviews. We bought our camper from another dealership out of state that was not at CW. Lauren T. from the service department at the Nashville store was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful. They took threes weeks to fix my warranty problems and had to order several parts. Lauren kept me updated and gave me an option to come pick up my camper to use while the parts were being ordered. The service department was a good experience for us. We have had several issues with it, but that is a different atory... We were hoping to have it checked out before traveling farther. This place sucks! I bought a new Forest River camper from Camping World in Columbia, Missouri. We live in Tennessee. On our first camping trip we discovered a leak in the bathroom. I called Camping World Nashville to schedule an appointment to have them repair the leak. This call was made on April 17th. They told me to bring the camper in on May 3rd and they would repair it. May 3rd I delivered the camper to CW Nashville. They told me they would call me back within a few days. I went on vacation the following week and returned on May 15th. Of course no phone calls from CW while I was on vacation. I contacted the service department on May 16th and the man told me that the unit had not even been reviewed yet however they would look at it today and it should be ready by the end of the day since it was only a leak. May 18th no phone call from CW. I called and spoke to a lady this time in the service department. She told me she sees my unit in her system however no notes have been entered. She said let me go check on it and I will call you right back. May 19th. Still waiting on the lady to call me back. Now I'm going to contact Forest River to find out who handles their warranty work. I plan on picking up my camper and will never allow these idiots to have it again. They are horrible!!! Update: Lauren at CW Nashville has stepped in over the past two days and has been a huge help. I would give a zero if I could.. This company needs to be exposed for its deceptive practices. This company is the biggest rip off company I have ever dealt with. From lying about a bumper to bumper warranty. Non existent by the way. They charge you a ridiculous premium for the warranty and sell it like it's backed by CW when in fact it's not. Then argue about the deductible amount. We bought this camper brand new and haven't really got to enjoy it because everytime we try to go camping something breaks. It's so ridiculous. Our most recent repair is a water leak between the walls. It was brushed off as a shadow. First when we bought it out of town and did our first walk through. Then again on the second walk through when we took it in for other repairs. None of which they documented so they say. They lost the pictures they had taken as well. Now Corporate won't repair unless we sign a release form that gives no guarantee of workmanship and release CW of all liability. Their customer service folks start out nice and then become evil once you don't agree with them. They bounce you from one person to the next. They try to fault you. You can't deal with the same folks. They either get fired or quit! Their repair technician shouldn't be allowed to work on campers. They are the worst. Such a large employee. Corporate hasn't been much help since I said we aren't signing the release form. I can right a book on the crap we have been through on repairs. On the 16th of Feb, my wife and I took our camper to camping world in Nashville Tn to have it resealed and a leak fixed. We were reassured that they would take good care of it and that the tech would do a great job. A few days later on Friday they called and said it was ready. The next day we drove to nashville, which is 2 hrs away, to get our camper. We got there and went in to pay our bill (2255.52) they pulled our camper around to the front of the store. We went out to look at it. Boy were we surprised. This thing looked like a 5yr old did it. My wife went in and got the service guy to come look. He agreed with us and took the camper back. A week later I called to check the status of it and was told they have not started on it yet. I ended up calling corporate twice before they got going. So, we get it home and after a good rain discovered that it still leaks where it originally did but also now we have a roof leak. This place has been nothing but drama and thieves to us. AVOID this place at all costs!! I wish we would've read the reviews before we took our RV to Camping World for some minor repairs and winterizing. It was a 5 week wait before they said that they could get our RV in, but once received, said it would only take 1-2 days to make the requested repairs (Toilet valve, water pump, new wiper arms, and winterizing) and that they would call us as soon as it was finished. After several calls and trips the first 2 weeks, they had not even looked at it regardless of the freezing temps. We were informed however that they had all of the parts, with the exception of the wiper arms. At 3 weeks in, they finally start to work on our RV. Craig, the service manager, told us that the wiper arms still weren't ordered yet, but that he would get them ordered that day and call us when our RV was finished. A week later we called, they still hadn't been ordered, and he asks us if we knew where we could find any. REALLY?? Fast forward a few days when we call back, and he tells us that the passenger side wiper arm went back on (they both fell off while in a storm driving it to Camping World), and that he would order only the driver's side. We explained to him that there was a recall on them and that they BOTH needed to be replaced, as we had asked to do to begin with, and he then told us "We don't do recalls, you'll have to take it somewhere else." I said, well, we'll pay for the arms, just get them. Craig then wants to know if we'll pay for the overnight shipping to get our RV finished quicker, even though he should've ordered them a month ago. Fast forward another week, and "the arms still haven't came in." FINALLY, 6 weeks after we took the RV in, they call and tell us it's ready. We go to pick it up, and the unit is FILTHY, INSIDE and OUT. There's dust, like construction dust, all over the interior and exterior. We're OVER IT at this point and just ready to get our RV home so we overlook the filth and pay the inflated $1,345.00 bill in CASH because their credit card machine was down in the service dept. Finally, we get away from this dreadful place and we don't make it 20 miles up the road when what happens?? You guessed it, the passenger side wiper FALLS OFF AGAIN!! I immediately called their service department (7 hours ago) and we have not received a call back yet, which judging from the other reviews, I doubt that we will. Our experience with Camping World has been nothing short of terrible. Not only did we have to delay our vacation by over 2 months because of dealing with them, but we feel like we've been ripped off all the way around with them. Unless you are in a bind and just going in for supplies, I would try to avoid CW at all clsts. Cullum and Maxey Camping Center is next door, and they have better prices on their products anyhow. There is a local Prevost service center as well as Olympia Motorcoahes Dealership & Service Center located in LaVergne. Do yourself a favor and give them a call for your service needs. They are established companies with great reputations and superb products, who actually stand by their words. Oh, BTW, when I was checking out at the front counter, I overheard one of the Camping World employees (who didn't know who I was) degrading my husband and his soon to be 86 year old mother, whom is a highly successful country music artist. Apparently, they didn't care for her music, which is fine, but save it for your house, not your place of business. Both my husband and his mother just had strokes this past year, and she broke her hip shortly after....so to say that their behavior was distasteful is an understatement. We will NEVER be back, EVER.... Your loss Camping World. You could have such a great business there, but you lie to people to get their business, while having no regard for their personal commitments or concerns. So you ripped us off once, but that's nothing compared to the return business and referrals that you could've gotten from us and so many others. We purchased a 2021 keystone cougar a few weeks ago in Nashville. Our refrigerator stopped working and we contacted camping world. We have spoken to several of their techs and spent hours and hours on the phone troubleshooting to no avail. We have been without our refrigerator for 6 full days now! $300 worth of food has gone bad and we can't get ANYONE from management to help us. We have spoken to Matthew and Randall who stated they would help and assured us they would send someone to fix whatever the issue was. We are highly disappointed in camping world. THE MAIN REASON we chose to purchase an RV from Camping World was because of their mobile rv service which they promoted highly. During our conversation with Matthew and Randall, we were told that they were having a problem with staffing therefore could NOT provide us with a mobile RV service at this time. We have spent DAYS on the phone trying to get help and still we have nothing. All we seem to get are broken promises! Meanwhile, we are living out of a cooler, which is difficult when you have three children! This is no way to treat your customers! Especially with a BRAND NEW RV! We are disappointed that Camping World has NOT stood by its original promises during the sales process. Shame on you! UPDATE: Camping world finally sent a tech to asses the issue however, he did not have the proper tools to finish the job. We have wires hanging from underneath our coach along with a hole drilled in our protective underpinning out in the freezing cold weather. We were told that he would let Meghan know and she would contact us so that he could return. It has been 6 days since the tech was here and we have heard NOTHING! We have contacted Camping World NUMEROUS times since then. We have left NUMEROUS messages for "Meghan" begging to have someone completely fix our issue. We feel neglected, ignored and abandoned! Do not purchase gap insurance from these crooks. My camper that I purchased from them 4 years ago was destroyed in the Panama City beach Florida hurricane. I thought I was covered, but guess what after months of jumping thru hoops and getting the paper work they require they ended up paying less on my camper than I originally paid them 4 years ago. And the best part is that their gap insurance expires after so many years. Now after my insurance paid so much then their gap insurance paid what little they did. I'm left with no camper and I have to pay the remaining balance. I would suggest to purchase a camper elsewhere, since none of this was enclosed to me at the time of purchase. My advice is to buy from a individual and leave these crooks and all their hype alone. They will burn you and not even call you back. Camping World of Nashville or anywhere else in my opinion is just a big time rip off, so go somewhere else and don't be fooled into taking their gap insurance or you will get burned like me! read more

The only reason they get even one star is the salespeople in the store! They are all awesome! Service, on the other hand, is the worst! I originally took my class C in with 3 issues, 1) there was a leak somewhere on the drivers side in the bunk over the cab 2) the floor at the bottom of my bed was wet so I suspicioned there was an issue with the water heater and 3) I needed the new TV I had purchased from CW online mounted. I knew they were going to have to keep it overnight, so the next day they called and told me that the 2 leaks had been found and sealed, but they couldn't mount the TV because it was bad out of the box. It would come on and then shut off. Craig (the service rep I was dealing with) said I should take the TV back and get another. I explained that since I got it from CW, they should be able to handle that. He eventually says they will, but it will take time to get the new one in so I can come get the RV. I pick it up and they have left the new TV inside. Just to see what they were talking about, when I get back to the campground, I plug it in. Boom, comes right up! I call Craig and tell him this, but he says they've already got the new one coming. Fine, so I watch my "bad" TV all weekend with it just propped up. Monday comes and still no TV and no one can tell me when it's coming. I talk to someone new and explain the situation and tell him I just want the one I have mounted as I'm due to leave town the next day. I take it in to have that done and also ask that they put on a new city water inlet as the old one has a stripped thread. They do the work, I leave. I get to my new campground in Alabama, hook up the water and it comes pouring out of the wall behind the new city water inlet! CW of Birmingham fixed it and told me that not only had Nashville not tested it, they hadn't put a washer in or hooked it up properly! Fast forward to yesterday in Florida where it rained all day long and I now discover that the leak they "fixed" in the bunk over the cab is even worse than it was originally! If you absolutely must take something there for service, make sure they test in front of you to prove the problem is fixed! read more

I had to give one star......if I could give negative stars I would have! I completely agree with Chuck here, the parts/service department of camping world of Nashville is the worst I have ever dealt with. I bought my rv from them just under a year ago, it had 4983ish miles. I opted for the extended warranty $5k....after taking the rv on a quick trip last December to FL From TN, I had a few problems I wanted them to fix/look at. One was the shower handles in the shower stall. They would keep falling off and water would spray everywhere. They finally got to work on my cry, after having it for over a month, I went to pick it up and I had a brand new shower head, but the same handles that fly off!! I brought the camper back to them so they could fix it again, at their request, and when I got there, they then realized that the part they bought from Lowes would not work! They ended up giving me a new handle set off their shelf that somewhat matched and I told them I would install it myself! This summer, I took the rv from TN-VT-TN, some minor issues but nothing major. My leveling system acted up once, but got it to work and drove in. Last week, I went from TN-AR-TN on a trip to take my parents out, the leveling system failed completely...failure to retract, had to get roadside assistance to retract them. The pipe under the tub broke as well. I opted to take the camper to Bowling Green Camping World, to avoid Nashville and during the process of Bowling Green Claiming the leveler pump, they were denied by the insurance because the mileage was in discrepancy, Nashville notes the mileage back in March as 19K ish, miles!!! I currently have 10,120 miles! Bowling Green was able to work it out, after much extra leg work. I will never go to Camping World of Nashville again, for anything! I recommend Camping World of Bowling Green, pretty much the same distance from me, and much better to deal with. Bowling Green does not sell RV's, they are retail, parts and Service. Plenty of parking in Bowling Green and connected to a Gander Mountain. read more

This used to be a customer friendly and reasonably competent store. However, the store has changed to primarily a RV sales operation. They have almost completely eliminated parking for big rigs/trailers and reallocated the space to store their RV's for sale. Thus, if you're on the road in your RV and want to stop for supplies, there is literally NO PLACE TO PARK! Thus, don't expect Camping World at Nashville to be RV friendly for those on the road or who need service. In addition, their service/parts area is totally understaffed and some of their "technicians" are inexperienced and do shoddy work. Last visit cost me over $1,200 for maintenance items and over 50% had to be redone because it was done wrong. Apparently there is no one overseeing the quality of the work being performed before releasing it to the customer. Also, their CEO, Marcus Lemonis, has incorporated 'hidden costs' into every service bill. Camping World now adds two hidden costs to every repair bill - one is for miscellaneous parts and the other is for miscellaneous freight. This inflates their service bill by almost 15% - 20%. Also, beware of them trying to sell you expensive and unnecessary maintenance services. For example, I asked that my RV roof be checked for potential water leaks and was told I needed a preventative roof maintenence service for $350 - a totally unnecessry service as confirmed by an independent RV certified technician. They will try to sell you anything to inflated the bill. Finally, don't expect that your unit will be "repaired" timely. One of the items I asked to be repaired during my $1,200 experience was not diagnosed correctly. Thus, on my last outing, their "repair" failed completely. I brought my unit back to get it repaired correctly and I was told that they could not find anything wrong. I asked them to check further and call the manufacturer, if necessary, to diagnose and fix the problem. That was over two (2) weeks ago and they still have not worked on my unit again. Calling to get status is useless - they simply say they are overloaded and will get to my unit as soon as they can. I feel like I'm being punished for choosing Camping World. read more

I set up an appointment with Camping World of Nashville to have my refridge worked on. They ask me to drop it off and it would be ready in a couple of weeks. It took 4 weeks. Plus when I got it they stuck it to me for $300 for equipment that was still under warrenty! However, I paid and took my camper home. After setting it up and plugging in the refridge...it did not work! Just as it was a month ago except I was $300 poorer, PLUS I discovered that Camping World had pushed an electrical plug into the wall of my camper! I took the camper back and their Customer Service has the poorest attitude of any company I've ever seen. They still have not made it right. Stay away from Camping World of Nashville at all cost! read more

Same experience as the rest. Service department sucks! Was told it needed a new ac unit paid the 1000$ for the unit and was installed to be told the controller was the real problem. That was 2 weeks ago and havnt heard back since they supposedly ordered a replacement unit. read more

Thes guys are the absolute WORST! Their retail prices on parts are 25-75% higher than everyone else. Service? What service? I stopped at Camping near camping world and asked if they could take a quick look at a fairly simple problem. They laughed and said they could get to it "in about four weeks". Today I pulled in to a camping world in Nashville with a bad water heater board. I called and they had the part (a 10 minute swap out job) and the service guy said they could get to it by the end of the week (today is Monday). I explained that we had no hot water to shower and waiting until the end of the week for a 10 minute job that could restore hot water seemed ridiculous. He shrugged his shoulders and smiled. I have had 9 rv's in the past 22 years and i will urge everyone i know never to buy an rv or supplies from camping world. I would give the service department and corporate office a negative rating if I could. We have dealt with the terrible customer service for four years. We have bought 3 campers from them and have had many problems with service. They can not fix anything and will not call you back. They tell you that your parts are on order but you never get them. Next thing you know your warranty is no longer and your camper is not fixed. We complained to the corporate office. Did not receive a call back. Called them today and was told they called the service manager that I complained about and considered my case solved. Last time I checked a customer that lodges the complaint should be called. I am going to continue my quest for a resolution by contacting everyone possible. As soon as we get this camper fixed we will no longer do business with this company. read more

Bought a brand new camper a few weeks ago, first time we used awning it was broke, after 2 weeks refrigerator quit cooling, outside speakers don't work. And this is our house. You would think they would have a maintenance that comes to you. Nope we have to pay to stay somewhere until they fix things. Very poor place if you ask me. We have been considering trading our 5er for a class A and wanted to look at a few while we were in Nashville next door to Camping World. Big Mistake! When we were honest that we were exploring the option, the salesman said excuse me, went into a glass office with his back to us and played on his phone until we finally got mad and left. All he had to do was say he was busy or they don't do that. We visited the other dealership next to us and got great info from Shane. He treated us like the potential buyers we are. None of our $$$ will go to Camping World. read more

This store has what we needed. We got two toys for our dogs and four bottles of glue. Everything was VERY expensive. They had SUPER RUDE employees that didn't want anything to do with use they told use that they couldn't order something for use when they could and didn't bother helping use. When we mentioned the kind of trailer we had they immediately said that they don't have anything for that type of camper. We asked if he could order it or something like that but he said he couldn't. Then he recommended for use to go to a store 40 minutes away. Which is basically getting them less business and making people think that they don't have what they need that store they recommend does have what they need which makes use not want to really go back. We left for a little bit came back to the store and he saw use but totally disregarded use and pretended we weren't even there. The manager was very nice, understanding and apologized for the problems that the person had caused. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE AN RV HERE! Horrible experience purchasing an RV at Camping World of Nashville! If I had the option to leave 0 stars, I would do that. I am a first time RV buyer, I did my research and still got screwed by this dealership in the end. If you value your money, and your sanity, shop elsewhere. I purchased a 2018 Thor Quantum RQ29 RV in June 2018, and the price I was told was $82000. Somehow after the paperwork was done, they ended up charging me $92000 for the vehicle. When i was initially told the price, I questioned it and then had them double check. They confirmed the $82k price. They also told me there was a similar one but a different color (white) that was priced at $92k. Clearly they made the decision to charge me the price of the higher vehicle instead of the one I purchased. This dealership will fudge the financial numbers to make the bank think you are putting all this money down. In all reality, this dealership is charging you extra money and taking it from you without you knowing. My truck was taken as a trade in on the RV. I had $6000 of equity into the vehicle, which in reality between the price at $82000 and the equity in my truck after trade in, the price of the RV should have been roughly $76000 not counting taxes and other fees. What really happened, was put the sales price at $92000, made the numbers to look like they were giving me almost $10000 after pay off for my truck so it would look like I was putting that amount cash down. That was not the case at all. The situation in itself was stressful, and when I initially ask them to explain the numbers because they didn't make since, they made up some bs lines to try and make it all make sense. I admit I should have questioned further, but the stress of the situation led me believe it somehow made sense. Essentially, this dealership took $10000 from me and I'm sure they have done this to many more people. Additionally, they underestimated the sales tax on the vehicle and now I am left owing an additional $5000 in sales tax on top of everything else. Thankfully this dealership was kind enough to send a letter along with the check to the DMV for the tax amount, that said the tax fee was just an estimate and I was liable for any remainder of the sales tax, and they added a nice smiley face to end the letter. Very unprofessional! In all the years I have been buying vehicles, I have never once been in this situation or screwed over this bad. This dealerships customer service is also lacking. Not only did I get screwed by them financially, the RV I purchased was not even cleaned or ready when they told me it was ready for pick up. This was after a 3 day wait, which during those 3 days they were supposed to be cleaning it, etc. When I arrived back at the dealership to finalize everything, the RV was still sitting in the exact same spot as when I initially looked at it 3 days prior. It was not moved until about 5 minutes before they handed me the keys. It was never cleaned, even after I made comments about it. The walk around tutorial they gave me was rushed and less than informative. They pretty much left me to figure it out myself. Lastly, I have had this RV for about a month now and it continues to fall apart in many different ways. I am so frustrated and angry about this process and with this dealership. Please do your dealership, value your money and self-respect and shop elsewhere. read more

We took our motorhome (which is our fulltime residence) into Camping World - Nashville for a second opinion because we were originally quoted over $15k for repairs that just didn't seem to line up with the issues we were having. Lauren Tummins was an AMAZING help and put our worries at ease with the issues we were having. They found inexpensive solutions and kept me up to date and informed throughout the process - even with the holidays! After a bad experience with the Camping World in Columbia, SC, the Nashville CW absolutely restored our faith in the business. We are SO thankful for their help and we know that we can trust them - which is so important in these cases where we have no idea what we're doing.
