We spent good money at this place buying our first RV. We had some damage done to it and had our insurance cover the repairs. Our insurance sent the check, Camping World only did some of the repairs, so we were supposed to get the remaining amount of insurance payout issued to us. They have Just kept the remainder of our money and have just avoided our calls and requests. They said it "wasn't their policy to issue checks." I would advise that NOBODY spend their money at this place. You are forgotten after the sale. read more

I bought my trailer here a few months ago. I asked the sales person and person helping me with financing multiple time to winterize the vehicle before we left as we would not be using it. I was told it was take. Care of and good to go. The first time i took it out the water heater was blown. It wasted a weekend of camping and a lot of my time. On top of that they offered to pay 200 dollars of labor. So I'll be out an additional 1000 dollars on top of everything else. Not happy with the level of service read more

We purchased a brand new Rv that spent at least 6 visits to the repair shop in the first year with the 7th being denied due to a shop timing issue that was their fault. Everyone was completely dishonest with me and we ended up finding a different repair shop that handled a problem in 2 days that they could not figure out in 3 weeks. Seriously go somewhere else. im worried about dealing with camping world, it seems like its ok to slack on repairing these things. customer service after the buying experience is very important to me, but doesnt seem to be very important to them.... im nervous about buying one from these people. would love to hear how your treated after you purchase one. we plan to plant ours and will have no way to return to the warehouse to be worked on. we are retired and old, lol. read more

I made an appointment over 2 weeks ago to have my rig washed and slide maintenance done for last Friday. We dropped off our rig on Thursday and speaking with service asked if they could look at a few other things if possible. No problem , so I figure the way and slides was done last Friday like our appointment said and this week looking at the other issues. Well they didn't do anything till Thursday after I have been calling for the last 4 days and now I am told they can't wash it. My husband and I are too old to do this but we are pushed out because other rigs that are purchased. I was never told this I would have gone somewhere else. Never will we use them. They make appointments but can't do the work. I am so upset we are leaving next week and I will have to climb up and clean it this makes me want to just cry read more

Buying our new rv at Camping World was an okay experience. Our Salesman Alexander was easy to work with, really seemed to care about his customers and is very personable. There were a few issues with the coach that had been neglected to be passed on to the service folks but were quickly fixed when we pointed them out. Steve W is just the best. He showed us everything we needed to know about our new rig. He is extremely knowledgeable and passes his wisdom along in a pleasant and professional way. He is a 10!! The financing was done quickly and efficiently and explained by A very well. Upon picking up our coach there were definitely some cleanliness issues. Although no one is going to clean a coach quite like the owner, I felt there could have been a much better job done getting a brand new coach ready for its new owners. It was quite obvious that only a cursory job was done. I was promised that it would sparkle and shine both inside and out and unfortunately it did not. I rated this experience a 4 as the people were awesome but the cleaning was only a 1 at best. Would I recommend the dealership, yes. read more

I took my trailer to Camping World Silverdale, WA in for repair (fresh water tank fell out from under the trailer. I had the tank (undamaged), varmint cover, I had assumed being a professional business they would install the tank with the varmint cover. I was wrong, workmanship looks like a backyard operation. Tank installed without the varmint cover.Labor rate was $195 an hour and workmanship looks less than minimum wage. I picked up the trailer and brought it home and found they had locked up the trailer with my keys in it. I when back to get a spare key so I could unlock it and they were no help to me. I was stuck with a locked trailer and they wanted me to b ring it all the way back to their service shop just to unlock it. Very poor customer Service and workmanship.. read more

This used to be Clear Creek RV. I purchased a new trailer from them in 2016 and learned very quickly that these guys were a mediocre business at best. Just before they went out of business and Camping World took over, Clear Creek did some inside and outside installations for me. It took them several weeks and when I picked up my trailer everything was installed ok but what a mess. They did not clean up after themselves. Fast forward to Camping World, they installed a new air conditioner in a record amount of time. When I picked the trailer up, all I can say is check their work. The same tech's that worked for Clear Creek must still work there, Installation wasn't quite finished and the floor was a mess. Hope your experience is better! read more

Don't go here for service! We took our 22 jayco precept motor home to camping world in silverdale, WA to have some warranty work done. Each time we took it in they seemed to of made things worse. Seems pointless to list them all but the worst was when we took it in for the last time in Jan. We were told it would be a few weeks but it wasn't done until March. There were a few things that needed fixing but what they did was run water through a winterized rv there was a leaky shower and draining issue but they are claiming they never put water through it. We winterized it according to manufacture directions. It came back with a half full grey tank and the master power switch turned off that stops the water heater from freezing. So our hot water heater now is broken. Called our "service guy" he said to bring it in. Next appt was 2 weeks later. He says after a week of having it and me calling him that yes it's broke. But they didn't do it. I told him it was winterized when it left and came back with water in it in march well after the freezing time here. I've contacted the corporate office they offered to install a new one if we buy it. I told them no that was an acceptable. We will install it and they can buy the new $600 hot water heater. They then called me back and said $300 towards a new hot water heater. I've told them no that my only responsibility in this was thinking that camping world in Silverdale would take care of our RV. I'm waiting to hear back, but this should not be such a fight. The service department takes zero responsibility and any of the things that they have broken on our brand new RV read more

We bought a new trailer from Camping World in Silverdale, WA. to use as a place to live in, 60 mi. from Silverdale, while we were down from Alaska. We were to take possession within a few days after agreeing on9/17 to purchase but that became several very quickly Finally closing on 9/29. There were issues with the Trailer found on the pre-delivery walk thru and because they had temporarily fixed things up so it would not leak We took the Trailer with us so we could get out of the Motel we were in. It was common knowledge that we were living in the Trailer when we made an appointment to get the needed Warranty work done. Having talked to a few people there, we were led to believe that the repairs would take no more than a day and that the main repair would take a few hours. We showed up when they opened on the day of our appointment as instructed by the person who we made the appointment with. He said that way they would be able to start on it right away and we would be able to go home that day. We left for a fun day shopping etc. and went back 6 hours later only to find out they hadn't even started on it. When I asked what the problem was the person behind the desk, whom we had not dealt with previous to the morning we checked in, told us he thought it was just a drop off apparently to be worked on whenever. When I walked in that morning I told him it was here for our appointment. Because we were living in it we hooked up and headed back home frustrated with the situation and the lack of communication within the service department. At least Get the story straight. I feel obligated to go back to them because they have the piece of metal they needed to replace but I don't know yet. read more
