I had gift cards to use and the website never worked right and the phone orders aren't for store pickup, so off to the store we went. It felt a little weird coming here with all the RVs around and it didn't feel as obvious where the store was. Since they do RV sales/repairs even when you walk in you're not sure. Once a bit inside we were greeted, saw the store side, and went to look around. They do not have an extensive amount of items for camping/outdoor activities, but they do have a few. I found an item I knew I didn't own because I always just worked around it, but decided I needed something so a convenience item it was. Place was clean and staff was pleasant. A lot of consumer review platforms have dozens to 100's of negative and accurate reviews of Camping World for many reasons. They have lawsuits for false positive. I tried to use them to trade in my travel trailer. On email I caught the sales person in a lie about the value of my RV trailer, and another about the value of their RV trailer. He sent proof that they are selling items 16% above retail costs, plus passing all of their taxes onto the consumer. DO NOT recommend. Many other places are cheaper and better service! read more

Bought a new Jayco, and the heater was not working properly from day one. Took it to the service department at Wood Village Camping World on multiple occasions, and they are unable to fix the issue. Contacted Jayco, and they will not advise unless it is at one of their centers. I isolated the issue to the thermostat and am now trying to fix the problem myself. Between multiple trips to the dealer and the cost of replacing the suspected parts to isolate the problem, I have over $600 in out-of-pocket expenses on a new Jayco. Stay clear of extended warranties and know that the warranty that comes with a new Jayco is only as good as the service center you are restricted to. In this case, Wood Village service should be avoided unless you just need to replace a screw. read more

Needed warranty service for no hot water on my Travel Trailer. Max, my service rep was great, but the repair team missed the problem, replaced a water heater when there was actually plumbing missing. Problem was, when I picked it up (on Max's day off) they told me it was all "tested and fixed." They lied. I would give a negative zero on services provided. I paid top dollar for platinum maintenance service. What I now know is a checklist for services rendered. By definition: A major disadvantage of a service checklist is that "they can potentially miss important information beyond the checklist's scope." My first day out on campsite, my slider doesn't extend fully. Overnight my water pump breaks. I called a Mobile Fleet RV expert. He fixed my water pump and said there was no wrapping around the plug with plumber's tape. Second, the slider does not extend fully because of code 8. Meaning no connection to the motor due to loose wiring. I paid an additional $690. If they had done a complete rundown beyond the checklist's scope, this should not have happened. I had the misfortune of getting locked in while on site on a Sunday afternoon. I arrived about thirty minutes before closing and I asked the receptionist if I could go out and look around knowing my time was limited? I went out and looked around aware of the time. Once I got back I realized the door was locked and the lights off inside. I had to call 911 to be able to get out after a thirty minute wait. I really took it upon myself to go outside without an escort but still the receptionist could have alerted someone a customer was still outside. Jessica Chumbley at the Wood Village Camping World was my favorite salesperson I have ever had! She tried so hard to find find us our perfect trailer. The problem was that our needs/wants kept changing. She never gave up, and no doubt she put many hours into our search. One problem is my husband is 6'6" and even some showers aren't tall enough! In my opinion Stay away from here unless you won't to have a bad rv they sold me my rv in January I told them I could not use it intel spring it was winterize when I bought it but then when I went to pick it up they showed me that it work like hot tank but did not put it back into winterize so the tankless water broke because of freeze damage and they won't fix it all there was water in awning and the leveler system didn't work when I went to pull it out for the first time and doors. None of them would close, right supposedly they had everything fixed when they showed it to me how they had it fixed right I do not know, but since they won't stand behind their products, I would not go there. Which contact corporate offers and they agreed that they didn't need to fix my water heater even though they're the ones who put the water in and didn't take it out. They're the ones who went took my winterized trailer and winterized it supposedly corporate office agreed with this decision but considering they didn't even call down to Eugene is going to be fixed and even check on the damage from what I understand seems a little fishy to me. read more

I went on a Sunday morning at opening time to look at a 2024 Jayco tongue tow trailer. our experience was good to start, but went very bad when I did not make up my mind quickly about the unit I wanted to buy( still never got to see the 2024 unit). my sales person was Joe we were not a good fit just very different personalities and when I asked to have a different sales person and an answer on my loan status. I was denied a different sales person and was told my loan was not going to happen unless I had 9k down ( my loan was challenging) but the service was below poor. This review is in the store which I visited last week: I had called for a part and the person who answered seemed to know the inventory on the top of her head and went to see if they still had it. She then put it to the side after asking her to so that I could pick it up. When I arrived, I first shopped around to see what items they have. What's interesting is the lack of inventory. Why were so many pegs empty? This is why the loss of one point. As for the employees, I was asked several times if I needed help. Everyone seemed upbeat and helpful. Everyone had masks on which made me feel better. There are designated standing areas at the registers. I just wish that they had a second cashier when there were 7 people in line. Of course it was the typical, when it was my turn a second cashier showed up. I asked her for my item that was being held and there it was with my name on it. Yay! Overall, a good experience. I will definitely come back for more items. BTW, If you get a Good Sam membership you get discounts here as well as other campsites. Ya know, we like to "shop local" and this place is just down the road, so we went by to check out an RV we had seen online. Ended up purchasing it and that worked out OK. Then the nightmare started. We had a quote from another vendor to install an electric braking system and hitch bcuz these guys were about $600 more. Well they found that out, said they wld meet the price, so we made the appt for a Friday afternoon. We were told 3 hours max to install and arrived at 1:45 for a 2:00 appt. They closed at 6:00 but our rig wasn't done until almost 7:00! I mean, thanks for staying late, but dang....what took so long? Then, on a test drive down the freeway another day, the electric break connection kept disconnecting from the socket. After taking to a trusted vendor we were near (yaaay to the Point S people!) and another (sounds like) you-h-all, they both advised that not only was it installed upside down, the wires were not shortened so there was a huge clump hanging down, they were crimp connected instead of shrink-tubed to make water resistant, and there was a whole mounting plate/wiring bracket missing from the set up. BASICALLY some NIMROD, who didn't know what the HELL they were doing, Mickey-Moused an installation of an expensive set-up. When we returned with the information, the Service Manager advised us there was "nothing wrong with it." Any moron can see it was zip tied and modified to use c clamps to hold it onto the hitch. ‍ Three other customers who were in the area agreed, the installation was crap; one gentleman even demanded his vehicle back without the work being done, as he was waiting for his truck to have the same installation and didn't want that kind of job. THE SERVICE MANAGER REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. They are butchers, we would NEVER have anything else serviced by them even if they were the last place on earth. I wish I had seen their reviews before allowing them to work on our car. Did we get a decent deal on our trailer? Yah, I think so. We don't blame the sales folks for what happened in the service department. Did we get screwed by the service department? OH HELL YAH!!! Now we need to pay someone else to fix the clusterf#ck they created, as well as purchase the proper mounting thingy to pay someone to do it right. PICTURES SPEAK A THOUSAND MORE WORDS. I had an appointment to drop off my trailer for a broken awning on Sept 20. When I dropped it off I told them about my extended warranty which they already know about since they've done warranty work in the past. The guy said he already has my warranty info and doesn't need a copy. Couple weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call and get the service desk, they say my advisor will call back which he never does. Finally a month after I dropped it off my service advisor Blake calls me with a $3.5k estimate to which I ask will my extended warranty cover it and he says oh I didn't know you had a warranty. He says he'll call to check right away then soon after I get an email from him saying he doesn't have the warranty information and I replied 20 mins later with the info. A few weeks more go by and I get an email from a different employee Jessie asking if I want to follow through with the $3.5k new awning purchase. I told him I'm surprised to see this since they were supposed to be checking on my extended warranty coverage weeks prior. He had no idea about that and said he would follow up with the service advisor to check the status. He never responded. Here we are now 2 months after I dropped off the trailer with Blake and 5 weeks after sending the warranty info and I haven't heard back. My conversation with the second person Jessie was 12 days ago. I've emailed a handful of times and called a few times and never get a response. When I call they say my advisor is on the phone and will call back when he can but he never does. Today Nov 25 I called back and tell the service desk person my info, after a few mins on hold she tells me my service advisory is on the phone with the warranty company. I guess just now he's calling them for the first time? She says he'll call me back when he's off the phone but I'm not holding my breath. This is the worst support I've ever experienced read more

Don't let the poor reviews fool you, they don't do justice! I've seen worse at a car dealership. The people here are wonderful!! Every time we come we are pleasantly greeted by good people who really know how to care for your needs and try their best to find you what you want and need. Every time we came to camp world we spent hours that could last all day with good company and we finally chose one we really would regret walking from if we didn't get it. Nicole was wonderful, I felt like we had been friends for years the moment we met! Great gal to work with. Tony is also one of the most chill guys who has so much patience and catering, he knows how to treat you well and honest. DJ is one of the managers, he's a great guy and willing to work it out in your best interest, we got a great deal we are happy with. Kenny gave us a tour of our new Jayco Jay Flight 267BHSW, Kenny knows all the bells and whistles, he's very passionate about RVs and trailers. Poor customer service and no employee ownership. I've been emailing one of their service advisor since March regarding my recall. I emailed them a week ago for an update and today the same service advisor emailed me stating they closed my case since they can't get a hold of me. What a joke! The same same service advisor who asked for all my info months ago. Worst customer service and no wonder they have a poor customer service ratings. I am still waiting for my recall to be addressed. If you're in the market for the worst customer service experience ever, this is the dealership for you. Regardless of how bad the service you've experienced anywhere prior, Wood Village Camping world will meet or provide worse service. This review is in regards to the "Service" department only. Bought a 2022 Winnebago View that ended up with 2 factory recalls needed. Called To schedule an appointment with this dealer. Was told closest appointment was in 90 days, and that I would need to drop RV to have service completed. Ok no problem, right? Wrong! Show up 30 minutes early for appointment, and am informed that not one, not two, but all service advisers were on break. Mind u they open at 0800, and are all on break by 1000. Wait 20 minutes for adviser to return. Adviser returns and "inspects" my RV for less than 2 minutes, and says "ok we will order the parts". I asked to leave RV as I was told was necessary, and he says they're not a storage facility. Ask why parts weren't ordered prior to my getting there, since they were given 90 day notice and was told exactly what recalls were being corrected. Said oops, their bad. Asked for GM Tyler. Little to no help, other than advising they have new employees who are unfamiliar with Winnebago and recalls. So ended up driving 60 miles RT for them to order parts, so I can bring back again to have repaired. Had to still pay for ride I had there to drive me home. In checking reviews, it appears dismal customer service is the norm for this dealership. Working with corporate now to avoid other clients being treated so poorly. Am trying to get service transferred to Wilsonville location, where they actually have good reviews. Wish me luck.. read more

My rating is specifically regarding the hitching process. Had camping works set up my recurve r3 which was over 300$ for them to install it alone. That's not including the cost of the part itself. Based on spending 300$ for them to set up my hitch I was ignorant to assume I wouldn't have to make any adjustments. After my first trip with my trailer I noticed my truck was squatting alot. I decided it's probably not good and needs adjustment. Unfortunately it's easier for me to try and do that at home instead of bring everything to them and have them redo it. After sending a description of what I did and explain how I had to adjust my hitch and everything I got no resolve. I got told they didn't see a problem? Pretty crappy to spend 300$ for a job to be done to end up having to do it yourself. End of the day I'd do your own hitching. Or you spend over 300$ for the install to just have to adjust it all yourself. read more

Can't say I was impressed with my first visit to Camping World. I was looking for some cans of Coleman Butane for an upcoming camping trip, and I had been striking out everywhere, including several Fred Meyers and Walmarts, including the one just down the street, which said it had 10 cans on hand, only to produce 0. Undeterred, I ordered four cans via Camping World's website and requested them to hold them for pick up. Arriving the next day to pick up our order, we wandered the showroom floor first, browsing to see if there was anything we might want, or need, for our camping trip the next day. Due to the current burn ban in Washington, where we would be camping, campfires and charcoal grills are currently prohibited, so one thing we were hoping to stumble upon was a larger propane grill or open flame firepit, similar to ones we'd seen online. And yet, there was nothing beyond the same portable grills seen elsewhere, despite the store being half the size of a CostCo. Hank Hill would be ashamed! Honestly, this place should be called RV World, since it seems that what most of their inventory is for, not *actual* camping (shots fired!). Really not impressed by the selection here. I mean, sure, they have tents, grills and most of the basics, I've seen better selection at just about any big box store that sells outdoor goods. Even their selection of coolers was lackluster. Regardless, when it was time to pick up my online order, I asked the receptionist at the entrance where to go to receive them, and she pointed me to the Parts desk on the east wall of the store. Despite there being only one couple ahead of us, already being served by the only attendant actually working the Parts counter (there were two other guys that kept coming to the desk, fraternizing with each other, and then leaving, completely ignoring us), we waited nearly 20 minutes for them to wrap up. I swear, the woman said, "Oh, one more thing..." about seven times. When it was finally our turn, the attendant told us to go to the checkout counter. Seriously?! All that time wasted for nothing. At least, when he asked who sent us to the Parts desk, and we informed him, he replied, "Yeah, she shouldn't have said that", he left to inform his misguided co-worker of her mistake. I suspect they don't get many online orders here. Anyway, went to the counter, waited (again) behind the same couple, who were purchasing whatever part necessitated blathering on for 20 minutes, grabbed our canisters, and escaped into the wild. While I understand that this particular experience was tainted more by the annoying customers ahead of us than anything, the lack of attentive, and knowledgeable customer service, as well as any meaningful inventory that couldn't be purchased elsewhere for non-RV campers, doesn't entice me to return to Camping World anytime soon. read more

We cannot rave enough about the kindness and generosity everyone we encountered here were. We had an electrical issue with our RV that left us without being able to use a/c, our slide out, our level system, coming. Nothing was working. With the assistance from one desk Angel to another, who asked a couple service men to take a few minutes from their current job to help us troubleshoot, we are on the ground running. With their hands on expertise we are at 100% again, confidently, and back on the road to make our 7,000 mile trek back home. read more

This place is a joke. If I had known all the crap we would be going through, I would not have bought a trailer from them at all. When we first bought it, we dealt with someone in the finance department that deliberately gave us incorrect information. He was since fired and because things were delayed by months, they gave us a $200.00 gift card. We get the trailer and take it out for the first time, and there are so many issues. Now dealing with the service department which is awful! We gave them a month thinking that was enough time before a trip we had planned. Missed the trip. They kept saying come pick up the trailer, go on the trip. The freaking trailer is broken. How are we supposed to do that?? AVOID this place!! We recently bought a travel trailer at the Wood Village location. We had a great sales person and finance guy. However, it stopped there! When we were given the walk through instructions we were pretty much told to read the manual. When we went to pick it up, the guy putting on the hitch was very helpful. When looking at the work order they had not done anything extra. I asked, did you put on the bike hitch like we asked...uh no. and that continued on until I finally asked the guy...have you even read your work order? Then they said, ok it's yours. We pulled around and the braking was terrible. The guy said he took it around the block and it seemed ok. We were there the whole time watching and he never took it anywhere. We figured we would just do it ourselves. But as we were leaving we realized we had no idea where the keys to it even were. Grrr. We drove back through and the guy laughed and said, oh we put them in the cupboard. While putting on the bike hitch "finally", another person came out and handed us a bike hitch and said...here is your bike hitch. We were like, well then what are they putting on. This is the most disorganized place we have ever been to. You need to watch their every move if your going to have anything done here. They are super disorganized. read more
