I had some bed steps installed on both sides of the truck bed with frame rail drilling required. They made everything easy and I recommend. See photo for the nice, tight fit. Excellent customer service! First of all Theresa helped me select reasonable options I didn't know I needed on my shell but now can't imagine living without. When Mission Valley Ford incorrectly pulled the electrical wires off the camper trying to fix a power window on the cab, Campways repaired Ford's damage for free. When I lost the key to the camper windows they found a replacement. When the camper had a leak they fixed it long after the warranty had ended. At the beginning of last December, I broke the passenger-side sliding window of my camper shell. I didn't tie down my cooler, and it tumbled and shattered the glass. I originally returned to the business that sold me the camper shell to seek a replacement window. Paid a deposit, and after two months of waiting, the window never arrived. I had to cancel my order and get my deposit back. I was pretty furious about the fact that I waited a while for this window to come in.. Then luckily, I was referred to Andres at Campway's, I immediately gave him a call, and he was very helpful and professional. I was able to place an order through him for my window. He told me the window would come in between 6-8 weeks due to the manufacturer having to make it and shipping coming from Mexico. The 8th week came around, the window came in. Scheduled an appointment to get the new window installed. Installation was fast, probably took less than an hour. Overall, satisfied with my experience with Campways. If I ever need work done on my camper. I will be taking my business to them. read more

If i could provide negative stars . . . I would. This has to be the most unorganized and deceitful truck accessory vendor in the bay area. I bought a top of the line Snug-Top shell from them and needed some warranty work completed on the rear window hatch. Campway's sent the shell to Snug-top for the warranty repairs. When I received the shell back there were scratches all around the rear window hatch that look like someone tried to break in and the shell LED was no longer installed. The Campway's employee (Tom Zizzo) told me they would repair the shell once Snug-top completed their relocation from California to mexico. I waited for months with no call back, finally after not calling me to schedule I reached out, only to find out Tom left the company and then was handed off to the manager (Andres). Andres told me that the scratches were existing and they had photos, when asked to provide the evidence he claimed to have he stated, "I dont have to" and told me there was nothing else he would do for me. I am now left with a scratched shell with a missing LED light. I will NEVER buy anything from this nefarious company or group of people again. Dont be fooled and look at how many people have complaints about service and honesty with this company. read more

Campway'. On Old Oakland Road did the repairs free of labor charge. I was impressed. I came in with my canopy having screws coming out due to the fiber glass on it breaking and Andres took his time to drill new holes to relocate the screws so that I could use the glass door to open and close with no issues. 10/10 service and these guys really know their stuff. DO NOT use these people if you want to avoid damages to your vehicle. My husband picked up my truck instead of me, and unfortunately he didn't bother doing a walk around before leaving. The cab looked great until I got to the back to check out how it opened. I get there, and I noticed not 1, but 3 different sized scratches on the tailgate. One of which goes all the way down to the metal. When I called them about it, they basically told me to "go screw" and said I can't prove they damaged my truck. Unfortunately for them, I actually can, as I had just picked it up from being fixed the day before. The wonderful folks at the auto shop had taken nice clear pictures of the tailgate (the rest of the truck as well). So I am letting my insurance handle it, since these guys have absolutely no decency about them. I repeat, DO NOT use these guys if you want to avoid damages to you vehicle. read more

Recently used campways to get a new rear door for an ARE cap. First attempt was a door for another truck. Second attempt was a door my truck but not what I ordered. Campways blamed ARE fir first error but nothing for the second... Just here is your door. Overall poor customer service. Had to call them for status, call after 10 weeks when door should have been there in 8 and it just so happens it was delivered the day before? I find that hard to believe. Was it sitting there? A few months later I needed replacement keys for cap. Called campways, sent email with cap info and asked for pricing and ecd to get keys.... 3 weeks later nothing. No call, no email. This is THE place to go for all of your truck needs. I needed to have ordered and installed a "dog screen" to keep my dog inside the truck bed while I am at work. I called Campways and spoke to Andres. He informed me it would take about a week for the screens to come in. He kept me updated as to the status of the dog screen delivery at his shop. I made an appointment for today. I was greeted by Tom who was very helpful. I handed the keys to a shop worker, sorry I didnt get your name. About 20 minutes later the shop worker took me to the back and showed me that the screens ordered weren't long enough for the cab hi shell windows. It wasnt the shop's fault the order didnt fit my truck. It was the manufacturer. I explained that I was moving next week. I had to keep my dog with me in the truck and this was the only day I am able to have any work done. The shop worker told me that if I was able to get a similar dog screen from say Lowes or Home Depot they could install the screens today. After a disaster experience at Lowes- their customer service is Horrible but thats another review...... I went to Home Depot and was able to find the proper size dog screen that the shop workers told me to get. I returned to Campways , gave them the dog screens and bam! Within 30 minutes they had the screens on- they are secure and look Great on my truck! Andres, Tom and the fantastic shop team at Campway's San Jose made my experience Something I will never forget! I can honestly say they made my YEAR with the way they treated me. They were willing to go above and beyond to help me even though they had other vehicles to work on. What company does THAT?! Campway's DOES! I am a middle aged woman. The Campway's team made feel welcome and like a very Special customer even though it was my first time at the shop.
