Colossal waste of time and misrepresentations. Mayfair asks if I'm driving or towing vehicle from Merced. I said Brake Booster Pump Assembly is bad and in Merced in my initial call. Original owner, OEM cat, passed smog, clean title, superior maintenance backed by records. Head gasket fine; no rattle, no steam. Offering free tow and nothing for vehicle was never discussed in your voicemail since we never spoke. I would rather donate to karsforkids.com for tax deduction. read more

I came by Mayfair today looking for Windshield Washer Reservoir Cap for 2013 VW Jetta, after calling around dealers and many auto shops, none has the cap in stock for me to purchase in time to use. Shawn greeted me with a smile when I came through the door. He quickly took me in the back and we looked around. I was in and out with no more than 15 minutes and he found couple of caps for me. Just came back from there. My car right front window was broken yesterday. My husband found this place and we went there to buy a window glass. When we went there, we asked if they can help us to replace the window glass. Sean said "yes". We also asked if they have a rear-view mirror that was taken away by the thief. They found one and installed. The total price is only $100. State Farm told me that I will pay $250 for the repair service that they recommended out of insurance coverage. I was working on a customers car Saturday afternoon when I found out that the parts I purchased were wrong and no other store around the Bay Area had them available for the same day. I called my customer and he approved buying used parts to install on he's car. I called Mayfair auto wreckers and they had the parts available the lady who answered the phone put me on hold for second then Lamar answer the phone He confirmed that they had the parts. I ask him what time they were closing since is Saturday And I'm in south San Francisco about 40 min from them, he replied "2pm" and ask me how long I was going to stay in south San Francisco for, I said all day why. he said " well I'm heading to San Bruno as soon as I close the shop I can take this parts with me and deliver to you just meet me where I'm going to" sure enough he removed the parts himself and delivered them here.
