Horrible, horrible experience - stay far away from Mike's Truck. I've had my 1997 Ford F250 for over 20 years and finally had it repainted in its original color. Two months after, I brought it here for a spray-on bedliner. The liner started peeling the same day. When I went back, Jonathan promised to redo it with a special primer and kept my truck for days. It came back scratched, gouged, and covered in glue residue. Instead of fixing the damage, Jonathan ignored me and then offered only a partial refund plus $1,000, nowhere near the professional repair estimate. She offered to meet me before the business actually opened, just to make drop off more convenient. My truck bed spray came out perfectly, a job done in a truly proficient manner and everyone is welcoming, truly the best in the bay soo far.

I intentionally went to Mike's to support a veteran owned business even though they were charging me 85% more on my lift kit than it was worth on the open market. Strike 1, overpriced. Was informed they do not give military discounts to veterans, you utilizing them is supporting veterans. Dropped my truck off before they opened. With no call all day, I showed up after I got off work to find they had not even moved it due to manpower issues. Strike 2, poor communication. We rescheduled for the following week. Same thing, dropped my truck off, they would have it done by 1500. I rolled in around 1600 to see my truck was still in pieces on the lift. Again, manpower issues, lack of communication. Went back later to pick it up after they called me to inform me it was ready, paid all good, right? The next morning there is a huge glob of grease under the front right CV boot. They incidentally cut the boot. Strike 3, poor workmanship To top it all off, 2 weeks later I took my truck to the dealer for standard maintenance and 5 of the lug nut were stripped. Strike 4, again poor workmanship. I went back to the shop and provided my business card and all the information I just as I described above, they promised to make it right. Still have not received a call back. Being a 26 year veteran myself, and still wearing the uniform, I expected better from my brother at arms. Cost of doing business with this shop, Total overcharged cost they are going to charge and the cost to get it all fixed after they perform lack of first time quality work. Horrible customer service. I sent a freshly painted brand new tailgate to them to spray linex on the backside of the gate. Came back scratched beyond saving and had to repaint it. The paint materials alone are going to cost more than i paid to linex the gate.($435 is what they charged me). When i called to talk about the issue, he was rude and completely denied scratching my tailgate. Would not even bother taking a look at photos i was going to send him. I was not going to even ask for a full refund just some sort of help to cover some of the paint cost. Last time i would ever use them. If you need linex DO NOT go to them. read more

I admittedly read the reviews for this place the day before my scheduled appointment today. The last reviews gave me anxiety and I called competitors to see if I could schedule an appointment. Ultimate Linings couldn't take my truck in for a month and Line-X not until August due to "material shortage," so I committed to Mike's Truck since they could spray my truck now. I had my fingers crossed. If you want to get a better representation of Mike's Truck I suggest you read the reviews for Line-X of Silicon Valley as Mike's Truck previously was a Line-X franchise and went by both names. This Mike's Truck location sprays Bullet Liner. It's essential the same as Line-X premium liner, but for the price of Line-X standard. In layman's terms you are getting UV protection for $200 cheaper with Bullet Liner. I contacted Mikes Truck using their online form. I have yet to receive an e-mail from that. I ended up calling to schedule an appointment. They explained that they switched to Bullet Liner and explained their pricing. I wanted to drop my truck off at lunch around noon, but I was told they might have to keep my truck overnight since they would be starting late. I didn't want to be out of a vehicle overnight and asked if I could drop it off before they opened which they said I could. I ended up swinging by Mikes Truck the day before, 1 to calm my nerves and 2 not show up the morning of and have to deal with surprises. I didn't catch the name of the guy who helped me, but he told me everything I need to do to drop it off before they open. Finally spray day. Dropped my truck off 2 hours before they opened. 3 hours and 45 minutes after opening I got a call that my truck was ready! I couldn't pick it up until I got off work. I got another reminder call at 4 that my truck was ready for pick up. Got there and my 2021 Ram was finished parked out from with another 2021 Ram. I looked at the bed liner and it looked good. I've Never had a spray in liner before, so I have nothing to compare it to. Went in, paid, and went home. Time will tell how well they prepped the surface and sprayed the liner. But as of right now I can 100% recommend Mike's Truck to anyone who wants a spray in liner. I recently purchased a new truck and had to delve into the world of figuring out where/how to get a spray-in bedliner put in. I took it to Mike's Truck in Santa Clara and had the Bullet Liner sprayed into it. Being my truck ended up being a very expensive purchase and brand new, I am a bit hypochondriatic about the condition of my vehicle. I understand the general procedure of spray-in bedliners, but the idea of taking a sanding disc to a brand new truck leaves me with shivers. I had a few qualifications for a spray-in bedliner installer, and contacted a few shops around the area for quotes and questions. Interestingly enough, if you look at the history of Bullet Liner, it was founded by Claudio Burtin, the same guy who founded Line-X. As such, the product you get with Bullet Liner is essentially identical to Line-X, if not better as it has the UV protectant mixed into it from the get-go without having to "upgrade" the spray in liner. The process was extremely simple. I called and spoke to Manuel, who assured me of their procedure and did say they would remove the various accessories in my truck bed (lights, switch, ProPower panel, tailgate work surface, tie downs, bed bolts, and BoxLink brackets) before spraying. This was great, as I've seen a lot of other shops cut corners and just mask off components which makes things difficult to deal with at the end. I dropped my truck off at 9 AM when they opened, and received a call saying it was ready same day. Talk about great service! Manuel went above and beyond to address all of my concerns. This includes my CB radio install, the weBoost install, and even the leveling kit they put on my 2020 Ford F-250 had to be redone, and realigned. Complete disaster for over $2300. Took my truck to get line-x done looked good till a couple years later my line-x started peeling off took it back the owner told me it was their mistake then told me to remove it and take it back he will replace it I just have to pay for the material I paid $800 the first time and now he said the material to re do it will cost me $750 if I remove the original line x if not I would have to pay extra for them to remove it remember he said his guy didn't do it right the first time I peeled it right off took me 10 min to remove it that's how pad it was! I had my 2017 Silverado bed sprayed with line x about 3-4 years ago. I noticed last week the liner was starting to chip away. I called and PAUL answered the phone and requested some pictures for warranty purposes. After I sent the pictures he instantly called me back and very professionally told me that I could bring the truck in today (6-22-2020) and due to some cancelations it would be done the same day around 3pm or so. I received a call from Paul around 4:15pm to inform me that due to lack of proper application from the original sprayer, the original liner was very difficult to remove. The eta was now 10am 6-23-2020. I called Paul around 1 and asked if it was ready and it was! I got off of work around 3:30 and headed over to the shop. Needless to say it was worth the wait. The liner looks even better than the original and no more chips! I'm very happy with the results. And would recommend anybody that needs any truck accessories or a bed liner to go talk to paul. Very stand up guy and it seems he knows what he's talking about. Paul by himself gets 5stars. The only reason I gave it 4 was because of the original bed liner chipping away. read more

I went to Mike's Truck because my new truck purchase included addition of running boards, and the dealer farmed it out to a local shop. I was able to choose from a number of brands/styles and they were delivered and installed the next week. I realized after getting home that the model that had been delivered was a different trim style than the sample in the shop. Manuel at the shop instantly planned to swap them out for the desired style, no discussion or debate or questions asked. The following week, the swap was done while I waited in less than an hour.
