I cannot say enough good things about this place. I walked down the hallway not knowing what was happening, and beautiful/handsome Lola-John walked me around the theatre and explained to me the plot of their show. Instantly I was hooked, but I already had plans that evening. So instead, I hung out on the patio and had the most absolutely AMAZING burrata I have ever had in my life. The next day, it was PRIDE so I assumed everyone would want to come here and keep the party going. Lucky for me, there was a seat left... and OH. MY. GAWD-UH. I laughed so hard... I cried so hard... I felt like the performers were my family/friends. Also, I'm super into 50's-60's music and this was IT! It's only $50 for the show for an hour and a half of pure unadulterated humor and pleasure. I do miss the older shows where there was more of a story line built into their musical ensembles, but the production value has not wavered with their larger venue. After multiple visits to the Can Can Cabaret, I can easily and confidently say that this is a refreshing and fun gem in Seattle. In its new-ish location in Pikes Place Market (think where Steelhead Diner used to be), the space has been redesigned to provide maximum entertainment value. The mainstage is viewable from everywhere and the catwalks down each side bring the entertainment literally right in front of you -- and with a cabaret, that is saying (and seeing) a lot! The staff enjoy their jobs. Friendly, enthusiastic, kind, welcoming -- from the entrance where owner (and emcee/performer extraordinaire Jonathan Betchtel) greets you to the wait staff (who may also be performing) will guide you through the whole wonderful process of ordering drinks, dinner, and desserts. You can just come for drinks or order light food, or enjoy their VIP menu -- all the options are consistently delicious and bountiful. I've never left hungry. The seasonal and craft cocktails are tasty, and their wine selection is appropriate for the venue -- a few options by the glass and several bottles available -- and very reasonably priced. Get there early enough before the show so you're not rushed or distracted during your meal when the show starts -- you definitely want to pay attention to the choreography, costumes, and performers. Their hard work shows in their flawless performances. So, keep in mind, its a burlesque style cabaret, so not a place for kids or the uber-conservative. But keep your hands to yourself -- it's not that kind of show either! This is a professional theater show and you can enjoy it all with your eyes, ears, and taste buds (think dinner, drinks, and dessert). Shows change seasonally. Reservations are strongly recommended (while I believe you can try to walk up, it's not likely you'll get a seat). Go often. Support the arts and these artists. Make friends with your seat neighbors, laugh together, and have a terrific time. Took my mom for her 60th birthday to see Ooh La La at the cancan. I haven't been to the cancan in over 10 years. So to see the new spot was beautiful don't get me wrong the old spot was great too. The show was amazing the drinks were great the appetizers work good. The only thing that I would say was disappointing was the beignets because my mom is a pastry chef and the beignets honestly could have been better. Surprised my husband with tickets to this super fun but tasteful burlesque show called Peacock at Can Can with amazingly talented and agile dancers that keep you wanting for more. It's in a super small intimate venue right by Pikes Market which makes its even more fun because you get to see the show so up close and personal.The only disappointment you will experience is when the shows ends because you want it to keep going on. The food was amazing which was a huge plus for us. Can Can is not just Cabaret. Had a great time! I feel like all of the seats were great. We didn't splurge on VIP and I was afraid I would regret it but the seats we got were still amazing! My only wish is that the show had been longer. Everyone was so talented and helpful. Was nervous about parking but it was not an issue and was super easy to find the entrance. A very unique experience in downtown seattle in pike place. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting or anyone who hasn't been to go to a show! An intimate show with about 4 performers. My friend and I went to zombie cheerleaders and got priority tickets which is only $10 more then regular tickets and come with food and a drink. The performers were very engaging with the audience and exciting to watch. It is a little expensive but is in downtown seattle and a small audience which makes it feel more private, and for good entertainment. read more

We came here as the last day before our trip ended. We originally made plans just to eat here (per the recommendation from our tour guide) but my sister was adamant in wanting to see the show. It used to be people piled on top of each other, but now it's relatively spaced. Cute bar entry too! I'm really happy for the new location. Also wanted to thank management for requiring Covid vaccine cards, however, I wish they would remove the loophole around presenting a negative Covid test within 72 hours. I went here to celebrate my birthday with my friends just having a girls night and we paid for VIP but when we got there they sat us in a horrible area squished with a ton of other ppl and the food and drinks that were supposed to come with our vip we didn't get. The server was EXTREMELY RUDE and ignored us ALOT. Everyone was served and we literally were last in the whole performance. I was argued with when I asked if this was vip seating and also LIED TO....server tried saying it is vip but I found out later that was a fat lie. I felt like my birthday vip tickets for me and my three girls were treated with disrespect. I paid ALOT to come there. The energy from the server was extremely horrible and stuck up. The server only treated me a tad better only because it was proven I am vip. When check time came around server tried keeping our change thinking we would leave a $80 tip. Uhhhh NO. I was treated like garbage. No refills, no food like everyone else got served, just a bad experience because of the whole vip issue. I would go again BUT they really need to speak to the servers and tell them to cheer up and pretend to like your job on the clock. Positive energy brings more customers!!!! Besides that....the performance was absolutely great. Funny and talented. Friendly and wow that voice...so pretty. I will say this though.....needs more men! Hidden Gem under Pikes Place! This was our first time visiting Seattle and on a Friday night we stumbled into Can Can. We were a group of 4, and were celebrating 2 birthdays. (Hubby and my Friends bday) We definitely didn't know what to expect, but given the fact that it was close to midnight and it was the last show, and it was my husbands birthday.. I decided to buy tickets I also asked about the birthday specials or if they offered anything extra for bdays and they did hype it up and pretty much convinced me to pay the extra fee of $125 for 2 Birthday Guest to go up on stage for a memorable experience......plus $38 per person for the midnight show. The overall show was great and fun, but my recommendation is DONT pay for the extra fee, I don't think is was worth the money. $$$$ We could of used the $120 for drinks or food. read more

Love the show. Husband and I are in town and booked the tickets hoping it was good. It turned out to be a fabulous time. The hostess Hanna was one of the show girls as well and showed us to our seats and chatted with us for a while. It's a provocative mix'ed with comedy, and is LGBTQ friendly, and in an intimate setting where every members of the audience would get a fair share of the show. A lot of the audience are in town celebrating their bachelorette party, birthday, lovers. We booked the preferred package which came with a drink and an app for each. We ordered the artichoke app and the gin and lavender drink, hubby got the steak skewers and the old fashion. We ended up ordered more drinks anyway. The Can Can does put on a great show and is a fun way to spend some time. I have been once for drinks in the bar and to 3 shows including the midnight show, the flamingo and the brunch show (oh and I have seen this is Halloween at the triple door). I am a big fan of live performances and try to seek them out when I can, I hope to make it for zombie cheerleaders this season. I now realize I have seen nearly all their shows and should probably just make it my plan to make sure I don't miss any. We went to the midnight show as a bachelorette party and got our bride to be the special treatment, she had a great time and it was a unique experience besides the standard bar hopping. I really appreciate how you can choose the gender of performer your person receives. Everyone I have taken has enjoyed it, its a very intimate experience with the opportunity to eat food and drink while enjoying an interactive show. It's also great that it is located underneath Pike Place Market for your out of town guests, even I enjoyed the Seattle history part of the brunch show. The dancers are very talented and I wish they would remind people to bring cash to tip them when they buy their tickets as I never carry cash and always feel like a loser after they work so hard. They do always make me leave thinking I should go on a diet though, as they all look amazing. They are really nice to and will pose for pictures if you ask nicely. Drinks are tasty. I would love to see more vegetarian options on the menu, but the fries are delicious. I enjoyed that the bloody Mary's were made with local stuff from Britt's pickles downstairs. I quickly ran out and purchased that fermented garlic. It's also nice that there is an intermission in case you need to run to the bathroom or stretch your legs. I went for a bachelorette party and we reserved tickets for a VIP table so we had seating with a good view and waiter service through the whole show (as well as plenty of water). The cost also included a small personal bottle of champagne (Moet & Chandon - one I actually like!) for each of us and $5 towards other purchases. Food: I had the $5 fried mushrooms with a mustard dipping sauce. They were definitely a bit much (taste-wise) for one person to eat all by herself (thankfully others helped a little), but they were very juicy and pretty delicious. One of the girls was REALLY impressed with their quality while I just found them "pretty good." I also tried a little of the hummus plate, and it was... okay... but I have friends that make hummus (as a big part of their biz) so I'm very picky and this one had too many odd spices/flavors going on for me. Drinks: I had a lemon drop and it was DELISH! I just wish I knew how much that drink cost. The Absinthe cocktails (and regular cocktails) on the menu sounded great, but I didn't feel like spending about $9+ per cocktail. I barely even considered the wine because that seemed to come by the bottle. One girl ordered a Hefeweizen and was presented with a huge bottle (probably a 22 oz) of Hales El Jefe. Haven't had that one, but I was pleased to see that they serve a Seattle beer. The show that night was Electric! with the Castaways. There were two males and two females. The acts featured a lot of dancing, acrobatic feats, use of props (incl. chairs, chains, stuff for swinging/flipping around, etc), and some prancing. It was stunning, it was funny, it was sexy, and at times it was definitely a bit weird. Bits of it made me think of a Cirque du Soleil show I saw in Vegas, but at the same time I felt like they weren't quite at that level. The service was great and the part where our bachelorette got to go up on stage for about 5 others was entertaining. (I just wish that "celebration package" wasn't an extra pricey thing you had to purchase!) Atmosphere: Dark, tight/cramped-ish spaces, underground, feels like a classy-ish yet naughty place.. basically just what I want from a venue featuring a burlesque show! What I didn't like: Mostly it was just how much it cost. Maybe because I'm not working FT and I'm sure a big part of it is how much the rent for the space must be and how much they have to pay all the staff/performers, but some things.... seriously? $50 a person for more comfortable seating (w/ some aforementioned bonuses) and so we could easily drop more money on food/drinks the whole night? About $100 so our bachelorette could go on stage to be entertained for a short while, dance a little, and get a flower? I don't know. I think if I go again, I'll probably opt for the much cheaper "standing room" ticket. FYI for groups - They can take up to 5 credit cards per bill. We got the bill the moment the show ended. I heard something about a dance party that was supposed to be happening for the last hour (until 2am), but I think our mood was definitely put off by the whole "show over- PAY UP!" Plus it was just confusing to figure things out by candlelight after a few drinks... First time attending a burlseque show and at the Can-Can theater. This is a new location for the team and they are working it. We arrived too early to be seating in the theater so we were invited to sit in the bar. We started with the Little Richard shot (tequila based) and the Cosmocabana shot (vodka based). Both shots were well mixed. Then we switched to Tanquaray gin and Tonic and Sailor Jerry's rum and diet coke for my partner. Both were adequate strength. The bartender was very attentive and, even though we had lots of questions about where the evening was going, they patiently answered all. While we waited for seating to begin we were warmly greeted by the host, who we would later learn was the main character Lola. When seating began, one of the performers greeted us and escorted us to our table. Richard was charming, engaging and enthusiastic. They told us about the gender-neutral restrooms along the corridor to the dining room/theater and when we were seated they told us what to expect during the show and made a drink recommendation: Big Richard (tumbler size version of the little richard shot). Our server, Rue (sp?), was very attentive and personable throughout the show. We had read poor reviews about the menu so we chose to eat dinner at home instead of purchasing the VIP tickets which include a 3-course meal and one drink with ticket price. However after having several cocktails, we decided an appetizer would be wise. When we asked our server about the Spring Harvest dish, they said it was a favorite and would recommend it. They described it as kind of a hummus plate (roasted red pepper hummus/spread) with falafels and roasted eggplant and tomatoes and grilled artichoke hearts. It was harder to see the presentation of the plate in the low light but what we could see looked good and the flavors were on point. Now let's talk about the show! The host was funny and talented. The other performers had fun costumes, sparkles/glitter on everything they wore, and at least 3 of the 5 performers sang as well as danced. The show was mesmerizing and we couldn't look away from the beautiful performers and their seductive movements. Technically they were stripping but it wasn't vulgar or strip-clubby. As with shows like cirque and zinzanni, this show told a story. Like our party, most tables were celebrating something so the atmosphere was festive and we were encouraged to be loud & proud with our appreciation. It was a fun night and I would def return. Can Can is this demure bar/burlesque hidden at the market (Pike Place). I had no clue of how many times I've passed by it until I found it and went inside. My friend and I did not get to see one of the shows, but we came there for the bar anyway. It's a dark place that will remind one of the old days. This is not some trendy, crowded spot that everyone wants to be seen at. The staff were really cool people. Our bartender was really helpful and gave us great recommendations to other bars in the city. The drinks are pretty good. I had a drink that was a twist on a Tom Collins. I can't remember the name of it but I was happy and a got a good buzz as they are quite generous with their pours. Give Can Can a shot. Enjoyed myself very much when we were there. read more

I wanted a special night with a friend visiting from out of town - the show was Femme Fatal. I really wanted to enjoy the show as I haven't seen a burlesque show previously. The who had two female dancers, two male dancers and a singer (who created the show or at least the music). I felt like I was at a personal concert and not a burlesque show (disappointed). The dancers were talented (in a club sort of way) the singer was talented 0 however the show was seriously lacking in coming together in a cohesive story and B U R L E S Q U E show which is what I paid for...had the three course meal option (food was okay, had a one drink). Paid for ticket online prior to show $50.00 for the courses - had a drink and did my friend. The bill had an automatic tip of $20.00 (shocking). Overall it was a disappointing night. read more
