So I've been here many times. I kept trying to give them another chance. I created a yelp account just to leave this review, that's how fed up I was. This was my breaking point. I have order Lattes from them several times, from several different baristas and every single one of them tastes totally different. One day it will be a Cap in a latte cup and the next it will be nicely steamed milk with a horrible shot. The pour overs also have a variety of flaws. One time it tasted burnt and the next it tasted like water with a splash of coffee in it. Consistence is key!! I have had good experiences with one barista...I forget his name. Shorter guy with facial hair, he knows whats up. I've ordered a few of their sandwiches, the turkey sandwich, and the other french ones. But SERIOUSLY wheres the MEAT?!?!?! I just paid 8 bucks for 3 slices of turkey, 3 tomato slices on crappy bread? The amount of meat I got was embarrassing, I mean if you aren't doing well business wise, don't take it out on the customers by charging them an arm and a leg for next to nothing. The sandwich tasted like it was all bought at sam's club, I could make 10 sandwiches just like it at home for 8 bucks. Step up your game Canabru!!! Don't serve over priced Crap for outrageous prices! I can go to another place in chino hills and get a huge Sandwich and Latte for like 10 bucks. Compared to your 13.31 dollars. Save your money and go get tacos at papachinos next door. I much rather go spend my money else where. Like someone else on here said, its more like CANNOTBRU! and CANNOTMAKEASANDWICH. It's not that hard to give a good portion size. I mean seriously the 2 oz of meat I got costed you maybe 50 cents and all the other stuff on the turkey sandwich another $1.50, thanks for screwing me out of 8 bucks multiple times. Let me start by saying I love Canabru. I visit frequently and normally have a positive experience. I am disappointed having to write this review, but feel that it must be addressed. Today was a unique experience at Canabru as they were out of a few normal items such as lemonade and green tea. That however was not the disappointing part. On the contrary, I am thrilled that this fabulous shop has been busy enough to runout of their stock. What was disappointing, and has been a snowballing theme in the last few weeks, was the lack of interest on the part of the staff. The young lady, Sam R. As it stated on the receipt was nonchalant and pretty unhelpful in making any decision on what else to try. Her bored facial expression and disinterested tone, along with side conversations with her co-worker, and side glances at the door while still interacting with our group to take our orders was incredibly off-putting. There is a serious lack of professionalism and maturity that was displayed in her interactions. In addition to this, the secondary staff member making the drinks would sit them on the counter and failed to announce what was there. We had to watch carefully and guess as to which was ours. Due to the lack of normal products we were unsure of what each new item looked like. I also had to ask for my muffin after having waited 10 minutes after ordering. Normally my muffin is handed to me immediately. When I asked for it, the response was "oh... Ya..." Again, a complete lack of interest and professionalism when serving customers. As always, the coffee and baked items for our group were delicious and beautifully presented. I would like to see some improvement in the engagement of the personnel. read more

Canabru Coffee is definitely a hidden gem in this city! The coffee here is absolutely wonderful and always fresh, as well as the pastries which are deliciously baked. The friendly staff are always attentive and give amazing service, adding to the already cozy and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a recommendation, I highly suggest trying the chai latte and the almond crisoccant, which are both amazing. The space itself has a warm and homey feel to it, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. I would definitely recommend Canabru Coffee as a great spot to catch up with a friend, have a nice coffee date, or even just for some alone time with your favorite book. I am a regular customer here, and I can't speak highly enough about the quality of their coffee. Every time I come in, I know I can expect a great cup of coffee, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that this place can get pretty busy, especially on Sundays when many people from church stop by either before or after service. However, the staff are always working hard to keep things moving and ensure that everyone gets served in a timely manner. Despite the crowds, I still think Canabru Coffee is worth the expense. The quality of their coffee is unparalleled, and the cozy atmosphere of the shop makes it a great spot to relax and unwind. Die hard Starbucks lovers - this great tasting coffee is not for YOU! The coffee doesn't taste burnt. I on the other hand, spent some time in Italy and couldn't get enough of their heavenly cappuccino. Everywhere in Italy, the coffee is the same sweet flavor - just like Jesus made it :) Canabru makes their coffee just like the Italians - oh, sweet heaven! The only complaint I have, and I mention it every time I'm in, is that they only offer one size of cappuccino. Sure, it's got two shots, but I want MORE cappuccino. I love the selection and the display of the teas. The ability to smell which tea you want to drink beforehand is so helpful and it makes it much easier to decide. The service here is always flawless and the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable about their drinks, and helpful. The quality of the teas and coffees is very good, which it should be considering the steeper price of the drinks. The only complaint I'd have is the extra price of milk substitutes, especially almond milk which adds almost a dollar more to the already expensive cup of coffee. Yes, this is America. Wear what you want in a public place. This should be the regular dress code. MAGA attire, diverse religious attire. All types of political statements on your tee shirts and caps. I found many five stars and the use of the word "vibe". I tell my employees to write good stuff and" give me five as well". The other good issue....we have... choices. Nice staff from my experience. But I really would like to see more staff wearing MAGA stuff and mix it up some with the Cruxifix, Crecsent, Star of David, Buddha, Ankh, etc,etc. This is America! read more

I went to Canabru because a friend recommended it but was truly disappointed. When I entered I was shocked to see right wing psychopath Sonja Shaw there doing a meet and greet. Shaw was installed to the Chino Valley School Board by her church and spouts the hate and political leanings they confuse with Christianity. She's a Trumper who calls dedicated veteran teachers "groomers". I can't support a business who backs a hateful bigot. read more

I used to come here and the coffee was fine I guess. However, if many of you read the other reviews, they did not give a single fuck about COVID (not wearing masks etc). Also, the owners are Trumpet supporters so no thank you. That whole corner area gives me hostile racist vibes (for my BIPOC folks to be aware). Love this spot for my morning fix! The horchata cold brew and matcha latte are absolute standouts--creamy, perfectly sweetened, and way better than the chains. Pastries are fresh (croissants are flaky heaven), and the industrial-chic vibe with plenty of seating makes it great for working or chilling. Baristas are friendly and efficient, even during rushes. This place rocks. I am in the food business and have been for years I met the owners and they are just awesome and very polite. I am not a coffee drinker however they make the best ice tea that is sweet ever so rich and filling. I have yet to try the fudge but will do so this month as they said to have some new flavors and I promised to try it. They also have the best Wi Fi around. read more

I honestly cant believe I just found out about this place a couple days ago. I tried their lavender matcha latte and it was sooo goooddd. my boyfriend got the honey cinnamon i believe? he got it ices and that was bomb too.
