I find Canada a bit lackluster, including its shops and offered items. Nearby you will find a popular steakhouse, which we've visited and it wasn't our favorite, especially at the top tier price point. We ventured up a staircase to look for additional shops; however, we only found an office related to vacation homes. I was a bit disappointed with this pavilion. I really wanted poutine and was informed it wasn't available during my visit as that food place was "closed." I also feel there isn't that much going on at this pavilion and there isn't anything "to do" when compared to the other pavilions in the showcase. It is a nice area to walk through, but that's about it. I suppose you can say it's more of a relaxing pavilion during your journey around the world. read more

Compared to the 10 other national pavilions at EPCOT's World Showcase, I thought the Canada Pavilion was just alright. Not that the Canada Pavilion is bad, the other pavilions offer more. We came here to dine at Le Cellier Steakhouse. Le Cellier is a solid sit-down restaurant. I recommend it if you want to eat steak and Canadian food (e.g., poutine) and drink wine. Book reservations as early as possible. The Hotel du Canada (largest building in the pavilion) and the adjacent Victoria Gardens, inspired by British Columbia's Butchart Gardens, are beautiful. The Canada Pavilion at EPCOT is so much larger than it looks at first glance, so make sure you take the time to wander and explore. It's one of the most photogenic of all the countries in World Showcase, but most park visitors don't realize just how huge the footprint is. There's a gorgeous roaring waterfall, plenty of peaceful park benches to sit on, and oodles of Canadian flair. I do think Canada is one of the prettiest spots in the park as it blends the country's famous architectural French landmarks, the gardens of Victoria, the rugged wilderness and rocky waterfalls, and even cultural totem poles! It's like visiting all the regions of the country in one "greatest hits" swoop. The one attraction here is a movie called "Canada Far and Wide," which is disappointing. Can't we get a water ride or something fun? It's a Circle-Vision 360° film that still feels dated (although it's been updated recently) that showcases the country's most beautiful places. It comes across like a promotional tourism video, but I guess that's the point. I only do this film if I need to escape the rain or heat, as the theater is indoors and air conditioned. Food-wise, I feel like Canada totally missed the mark by not having a poutine stand! They have a place that sells maple coated popcorn if you like sweets, and the Le Cellier Steakhouse which used to be one of the most beloved Epcot restaurants (and now just kind of sinks into the "mid" category). Just wait for the annual Food & Wine Festival and you can get Le Cellier's bacon cheddar soup and filet mignon at the food booth instead of having to pay for a too-expensive meal at the sit down restaurant. The shops here sell Canadian beer, maple syrup, plush moose, and lots of flannel. You can also get some of the cutest Mickey and friends themed hockey t-shirts and ears. The live entertainment here is top-notch, and there's a dedicated stage where a bangin' Canadian folk rock band plays. It's usually standing room only, and watch out because you WILL be dancing at some point during their shows! I love Canada the country and Canada the Pavilion! We made a quick stop by this pavilion only with the intention of getting some of their maple popcorn. If you haven't tried it then you should really take the time to stop and have some. It is a sweet popcorn that is similar similar to caramel corn, but with a bit of a different flavor. Really it is worth the trip. We did walk through a little bit and we stopped for a break by the stage. We did not have the opportunity to catch the band plane, but since I am not a big country music fan, this was not a loss for me. I liked the old man that used to be here many years ago with the bagpipes as they did a lot of classic rock and they were fabulous. I know the new band is pretty good. It's just that the music itself is not as much to my liking. One day I hope I have the opportunity to visit the restaurant in this pavilion as I understand that they have some really good steaks. Ah, Canada. EPCOT's polite northern neighbor in pavilion form. It's the one pavilion that feels like a cultural ambassador shook Disney's hand and said, "Sure, just make it nice, eh?" And they did. Rocky landscapes, totem poles, waterfalls, and architecture pulled from Ottawa and Quebec City -- it's like a greatest-hits album of Canada without the healthcare, hockey riots, or maple syrup price gouging. For years, the highlight was the Circle-Vision 360° film. If you were lucky enough to catch the Martin Short era ("O Canada!" from 2007-2019), you know it was part travel ad, part stand-up act. He roasted his own country with dad jokes, self-deprecation, and charm -- proof that Canadians really are nicer than the rest of us. It's gone now, replaced by a slicker "Canada Far and Wide" film narrated by Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy. And while they're national treasures, I'll admit -- I miss Martin Short hamming it up like your funny uncle after too many Molsons. But the real star of the pavilion? Le Cellier Steakhouse. It's tucked into what looks like a stone cellar straight out of Quebec, and it serves steaks so good they'll make you question why you ever settled for chain steakhouses back home. The filet mignon with mushroom risotto is EPCOT legend. As someone who always starts in Canada when visiting the world showcase I am a huge fan of the maple popcorn. That gets 5 stars. It's epic and delicious and I eat it while I watch the fireworks every time. The reason I didn't give Canada 5 stars this time is due to the drink selection. 3-4 years ago I would get a frozen coke beverage in Canada's Epcot pavilion to enjoy along with my maple popcorn. It was our first time visiting the Canada Pavilion. We were actually more impressed with the outdoor kitchen menu items at Northern Bloom during the Flower & Garden Festival. Their menu was the only one that we could both agree on. I had the Seared Scallops that had this tasty bacon vinaigrette sauce. It all mixed together well with the fresh tri-color potatoes and green beans. My husband had the Beef Tenderloin Tips that had a mushroom sauce that he really liked. The beef was tender, and totally satisfied my meat & potatoes guy. I kind of wish we had tried the Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake that everyone loves so much. Now, it has left us curious about the food at Le Cellier Steakhouse and the Refreshment Port. These may be good options to explore next time we're at EPCOT. The menu description of the Beef Bourguignon Poutine looks amazing. I have this feeling it's the same mushroom sauce that my husband had at Northern Bloom. Do they still use Boursin cheese? The Canada pavilion is located at the Epcot Disneyland Park. The Canada pavilion was a little disappointing because I was hoping it would have more to it. It seemed small in comparison to some of the other pavilions. Or maybe too simplistic? However, there was some food options and alcohol. I enjoyed walking around and checking it all out. The menu was alright. It consisted of warm raclette Swiss cheese, and blueberry and almond frangipane tarts. I did not try either of those. The totem pole was really cool and the water fall, but other than that it was kind of one of the more boring pavilions in my opinion. read more

NEW DVC SALES OFFICE IN EPCOT CANADA PAVILION Having just returned from Quebec City, it was nice to visit the EPCOT Canada Pavilion. We enjoyed seeing the Canada Far and Wide Circle Vision 360 film that had a few shots of Old Quebec. The pavilion's centerpiece building (inspired by the grand hotel Chateau Frontenac) houses Le Cellier Steakhouse and the new Disney Vacation Club sales office called Chateau de Voyage. Facing the sales office are rest rooms disguised as early Quebecois stone houses. The stairway to this new area reminded us of the too-many-to-count steep staircases in Old Quebec. Apparently, Chateau de Voyage is only a DVC sales office (by appointment only) and is not a lounge open to park guests so we were unable to peek inside. read more

Canada Pavilion is one of the best locations for food inside Epcot, especially during the Arts Festival or the Food and Wine festival. It has some of the best pop-up food stands. Canada Pavilion also has one of the best steakhouses located in Disney World, which is Le Cellier. If you go to Le Cellier, you must get the cheddar soup, it is phenomenal! Canada Pavilion has the circle-vision file presentation (360) overviewing Canada. It has AC inside the viewing area. Canada Pavilion has some of the best sights within Epcot. It's beautiful with all of the flowers and architecture, including the waterfall. There are some pretty cool shops too! Even though there are no rides at this pavilion, you'll have plenty of other activities to do! read more

Of all the countries in Epcot, this one offers absolutely nothing except maybe their steakhouse and some other food items during the various events at Epcot (Food and Wine Fest, Garden Fest, Holidays). It's usually Hot AF which isn't too much like Canada (although they have their moments). In Summer 2022, the 360 Circlevision Theater was just a place to get a bunch of cider. No Martin Short? That was the best video in the park. First Ellen and now Martin? What's next, Captain EO being cancelled? The gardens are beautiful and reminiscent of Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The buildings are cool but they're just kind of there with no real theme going on. And good luck trying to catch a Lumberjack show. I waited there for 4 hours and nothing! The real Canada is so awesome and this place doesn't do anything to show how clean and wonderful Canada is. No friendly Canadians. No hockey. No Niagara Falls. No Duty Free. No Tylenol with Codeine. The American Adventure Pavilion is located at the 10/11 o'clock spot in the World Showcase in EPCOT. When drinking around the world this would typically be the last stop but some will recommend starting here first since that means shorter lines. It was dark when we visited so we couldn't see much but we came here for Le Cellier Steakhouse which was great. Since we started in Mexico, the Canada Pavilion (and United Kingdom Pavilion) were the last two pavilions on our stop and given that I visited Epcot on my last day after a full week of Disney, I was already running on fumes. I know that my review is a lot based on the fact that I just had no energy to properly explore the pavilion and all the great things it has to offer, so please take everything I'm about to say with a grain of salt! The Canada Pavilion actually looks massive and it's a shame that I didn't explore it more. I'm definitely super intrigued by it, as a Michigander who lives in such close proximity to the Canadian border! There looks to be so much to offer here, with a high-end restaurant nestled above looking over the entire pavilion. From the main Epcot path, this area truly looks so well designed and like it has so much to offer. The stands in the immediate vicinity are selling the more kitschy/stereotypical goodies that are very surface-level Canada, but the appearance of the rest of the pavilion definitely suggests that there's more to be discovered! Next time, I'm starting on this side of the loop so I can explore this pavilion with a ton more energy!!! read more

When we went into Canada we found maple popcorn and it only cost 2.25 dollars for a refill. We got do many times.

I've passed by here before without really stopping to appreciate all the cool things to see here. There's not a ton to do so it's an easy one to hit quickly but it's still a great photo stop. There's a beautiful area area outside Le Cellier, their fine dining location, with this little cottage in a large field cut in half by a little stream. It's so cute and was probably my favorite spot. That said, besides the gorgeous view, there isn't much to do here. There's a cool 360 movie about Canada and a show on a stage but I didn't get to see it. I'm not sure what's up with the National Hotels area but it was definitely pretty as well. They also have some shops for the native/rustic area which is pretty cool. read more

All of the country pavilions at EPCOT are fun. They provide a glimpse into that country and their culture. Some of my favorites are those countries such as this one that I have been fortunate enough to visit in the last few years. The highlight of each area is of course the food and drinks from that country. This particular Pavilion is special for a couple of reasons. First, I lived in Canada for several years and appreciate talking to the cast members that are from Canada, I am a social person after all. Second, my wife is a Canadian living in America and it provides here with a feeling of home as she drinks her 3rd Moose Head Lager, and enjoys a delicious Poutine, which would be my third reason that I like this Pavilion, the POUTINE! Ugh - it pains me to give the Canada Pavilion a 3 but if I'm being truthful that's all it deserves. Yes, their circle-vision film presentation is very enjoyable and their sit-down restaruant - Le Cellier - is one of my favorite places to eat on property. However, compared to the other pavilions there's really not a lot to do. So the good is definitely the dining, Le Cellier is definitely a destination eatery and they don't fail both with their cuts of steak and the sides. Getting a reservation is tough because it has the smallest dining room in all of WDW but it's worth the effort. The pavilion's film presentation has recently been refreshed and now contains narration from Canadian actors Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy. Downsides are that there's really not enough in this pavilion. The gift shop is fine, but nothing more than what you can find in other pavilions. The architecture is nice, but I find there's a lot of areas and buildings that are closed off to the public. It's weird, because it looks like there can be a lot here but there isn't. I can't end this review on a sour note, so I will say that Canada does have a very nice layout, a killer sit-down restaurant, and an enjoyable film. Sorry that my picture here sucks and doesn't do it justice but we stopped by right before the fireworks and happened to see that the stand was selling Maple Popcorn. We caught it just before it closed too. We intended on stopping in Le Cellier for the Black Forest Trifle because I heard it was vegan but not only is it no longer on the menu, they were booked for reservations and we couldn't just order dessert. Having a sweet tooth, as we walked out of the restaurant we stumbled here. The maple popcorn was delicious, and they use coconut oil so it's vegan!!! Too bad we didn't see this earlier in the day because we probably would have ordered another one; I think there's only one size for $6.25. So worth it though. The buildings that remind me of my trip to Quebec City. We caught an AWESOME Celtic rock band from Montreal near the pavilion one night. Four stars for aesthetic appeal and scenery. Two stars for things to do end enjoy in the pavilion itself. The Canada Pavillion has so much potential it's semi mind blowing how little it actually ends up offering. They have several great buildings, seating, views, and photo ops. If you walk toward the back of the upstairs portion there is a really great area to hang out, and what looks to have been another store at assume point. It has long since been vacant. In stark contrast there is only one restaurant and one small shop. The restaurant is just okay and, as per usual for Disney based restaurants, over priced. The shop has some cute merch, and some hilariously named soaps, but not too many options. Overall: C Compared to other pavilions it's a miss. There is still a ton of potential to up their game though! read more

Good spot to take a break out of the sun. They host a 360 view/movie on Canada. Some people sit on the floor to take a break in the AC. No sitting on the railing. People try, however the employees are quick to tell them to get down. Masks are enforced. read more

The Canada pavilion has a lot to do but not as much as the others. They are updating the movie I believe and do have a pretty good steak restaurant with Le Cellier. I like grabbing a moosehead from the cart and sitting outside the stores up the walkway. During the day we move the tables next to the building to get out of the heat. People don't seem to think they can move them but we have never been told not to. Another great thing about this spot is it is just enough off the beaten path to give you a little bit of serenity but close enough to still do dome people watch. We consider this our zen spot for Canada. It is also pretty easy to grab food from the booths during the festivals and eat up there. They also sell more canadian beer in the store and the line is usually really short. read more

The World Showcase at Epcot has many countries highlighted and Canada is our neighbor to the north which has its own Pavilion which opened with the park on October 1, 1982! When you walk through Canada, your eyes will instantly be drawn to the Hotel du Canada inspired by the Chateau Laurier, an old & historic hotel in Ottawa. Inside this structure, you will find one of the best restaurants on Disney property - Le Cellier! Which brings me to... What is there to eat in Canada?! -Le Cellier is a 2 credit signature restaurant in Canada best known for their cheese soup! While I liked it, I actually thought their steak was top notch & more worth getting than the soup. They do beer flights, too! -Popcorn & coffee & liqors! Yep, they have a cart serving both. If you're at Disney during the right time of year, you may get to experience a bonus booth in Canada! When I most recently went it was during the 2017 Epcot Festival of the Holidays (end of Nov-Dec) and they had a Yukon booth set up in Canada. It was one of my favorite booths with tourtiere, seared salmon and a Maple Noel log - all in sample sized portions for $4.50-$5.50. Plus an ice wine flight for $7 which was divine! Canada will also have a booth set up (with a different name, theme & items) during Food & Wine Festival (Sept/Oct), Festival of the Arts (mid Jan-mid Feb) and Flower & Garden Festival (March-May). I love going during all the fests to try new things in small sizes throughout World Showcase. So what is there to see & do in Canada?! -O Canada! Is the 14 minute circle-vision 360 degree show covering Canada narrated by Martin Short (ha!). It's a fun way to get into some shade and see some sights of our frosty friends. Important to note, you'll be the whole show as there are no seats. -Beautiful landscaping and a totem pole! -Shopping! The Trading Post is a cart filled with Canadian flags, some plush & pins and a few items. The Northwest Mercantile is slightly bigger and you can walk inside the shop with more Canadian-esque items like ice wines, hockey items, ornaments, décor, plush & some clothing. -Alberta Bound! They are an adorable Canadian folk band playing holiday songs in the season and traditional music otherwise. Outdoor seating on log-style benches. This band has changed several times in the past few years since long time staple Off Kilter were replaced in 2014 after a 7 year run. So...YMMV as to what band is playing but there will definitely be music in Canada! When people think of their favorite pavilion in World Showcase, you don't often here Canada come up. As Geddy Lee of Rush once sang: Take off to the great white north - its a beauty way to go! The Canada pavilion is very picturesque and offers some of the best food in the World Showcase during Food & Wine. The totems in Canada were inspired by the Aboriginal Canadians of the Pacific Northwest. The Eagle totem tells a story of how a young boy found an eagle tangled in some netting on a beach, and released him. Later, when the boy's tribe was plagued by hunger, the boy finds Eagle again on the beach, but this time he has food to repay the boy for his earlier act of kindness years before. Also, be sure to check out the waterfalls in the back of the pavilion. Disney knows how to build fake rocks and this is a fine example of how good they are at it. The Victoria Gardens are always as highlight of an Epcot visit. The serene path is so inviting as it whispers an invitation to you to partake in the serene beauty. Take your time as you stroll by the pond on your way to admire the waterfalls. Don't be a hoser, eh - check it out! read more

The is one of the most scenic pavilions in Epcot. The huge waterfall in the back is a great photo spot. The mini-Butchart gardens in the front is beautiful and attracts real local wildlife. While we were there we saw an adorable little bunny hopping through the gardens. We also walked through the shops but didn't purchase anything. We enjoyed the 360 degree movie about Canada. It's a bit old school in its projection and technology, but the photography was beautiful. If you don't stay for the movie, at least wander around. A lot of care has been taken in making the wood structures. There are some beautiful totem poles as well as some masks you can take pictures in. read more

The pavilion looks great, especially the garden, but all the effort seems to be put into the steakhouse. If you want poutine, you either nab a reservation for some unique interpretations of the dish, or get it at a refreshment stand before you've even entered the pavilion. However, there's a chance the cheese curds will be too cold to melt and give you the proper impression of one of my favorite meals. There are some wines to try in one of the two small shops, including one ice wine. You can sample more in the restaurant but for a steep fee of $20. I live close enough to try them for much less Apparently they used to serve beaver tails, but don't anymore. Lots of maple syrup items. There's some totem poles outside, but not much else representative of the country's original occupants. read more

Canada oh canada, oh how I love thee. From thy beautiful nature to the glorious cities, I wish I were there. Canada Pavillion is one of those pavillions that you HATE as a kid. Why? Because the only thing to do there is shop, eat, and watch a stupid circle vision movie. As an adult though? Holy crap I love this place! You can eat, shop, and watch a great circle vision movie!!!! The pavillion sells Ketchup potato chips (which are amazing). And it's home of one of the best steakhouses (so I'm told) in the whole property. Good luck getting a reservation though, they book up really far in advance. The only thing that would make this place any better would be a full size hockey rink where you could watch virtual mightdy ducks players re-enact the final movie. The gardens are beautiful and the shopping is good. The live outdoor music provide a glimpse of our culture and is entertaining. The pavilion 360 show though it does show some of the beauty of our nation, it is in need of updating it looks very 80's. There is so much more that can be added to a fresher look such as the beauty of the Cabot Trail, our wonderful Canadian Human Rights Museum, some of our lakes, etc. Also please have it narrated by someone that the millennial generation recognizes, like Ryan Reynolds perhaps. read more

There are two shopping options in the Canada pavilion, the Northwest Mercantile store and The Trading Post. Upon entering Northwest Mercantile, you will see Kitras Art Glass. These gorgeous ornaments are handmade in Canada to resemble one of the four seasons. The store offers Hatley clothing, Roots fragrances and athletic wear, Deauville perfume, Ice Wines, body care items, and Canadian hockey gear. Christmas ornaments depicting woodland creatures are also found here. Maple products abound at The Trading Post. You can find syrup, candies, tea, and cookies. Their other souvenirs include Maplefoot Babies stuffed animals, Anne of Green Gables books, BOMA totem poles, and faux raccoon and skunk skin caps. The Canadian Lumberjack Show takes place on the Mill Stage and features axe throwing, shopping, log rolling and more. The show is run by the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show of Florida that have been seen competing on ESPN and in shows around the world. They perform year round. Le Cellier is a sit down restaurant at the Canada pavilion and one of Disney's most requested dining venues. It's popularity combined with its small size has led to problems getting reservations. read more

This was my first stop when I was "drinking around the world". The cast member at the beer cart was really helpful when I asked her to talk a little about the beer choices. I decided to get La Fin du Monde which wasn't as bad as I thought but it wasn't my favorite either. I like that they were very generous with the beer. I absolutely loved their restaurant, Le Cellier. Try this place if you can grab a reservation! You won't be disappointed with their menu. I got the steak and it was BOMB. The tables were a little crowded and I could hear what the next table were talking about without even trying to eavesdrop but other than that, it was a great experience! read more

I didn't intend to review this but it popped up as a recent review, so why not. I miss the awesome band "Off Kilter" that regularly performed here for years. They were fun to watch while having a fish n' chips and a Guinness from the adjacent UK pavilion. I also think they need to change the Circle Vision 360 film. I do prefer the new version of "Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey)" however. Also pardon my ignorance but I am surprised that the maple syrup they sold here came in containers that resembled like STP or Valvoline motor oil! read more
