I've been to this shopping center before but never went inside, until today when I went for breakfast and I was stunned by how beautiful it is inside, every single corner of this place is beautiful and immaculate. You order at the counter, the staff is very nice and friendly, they bring you the food in a reasonable time, the taste of the food is absolutely delicious. You can tell is made to order and again, I was blown away by every single detail, from the plate itself to the presentation of the dish, even the salt and pepper shakers! It's so welcoming and warm in every way. My sister had the breakfast plate that comes with tea already, and I had the smoked salmon and avocado croissant, for dessert we had a basque cheesecake with chocolate sauce on top, and I can wholeheartedly tell you that it is the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life! I found this place on Yelp and absolutely loved it! The interior design is beautiful, refreshing, and filled with lovely floral touches on the walls that create such a welcoming atmosphere. A very quaint cafe. The food was very good and not too heavy, which was great. There was a nice balance of egg, meat, and vegetarian dishes available. I love the flavors and spices they used and all their dishes. It can be busy if you're going in the morning since it's a smaller space but people are constantly coming and going so that we won't be long. I definitely recommend their Turkish style breakfast, which is easy to share and if you are on a couple small things, you can easily feed 4 people. Oh, this place is so cute. Ever since I watched Physical: Asia and saw how strong the Turkiye women are, I've been wanting to try their cuisine. I finished a workout and happened to look on Yelp. To my delight I found this Turkish place in Fountain Valley. The ladies here are so cute. I wasn't brave enough though to try something completely Turkish and got the avocado toast instead. Still really delicious and I loved the flavoring on the egg. The Turkish coffee was so delicious and actually didn't give me a stomach ache like some other coffees do. Amazing. In addition, the small decorative touches are so cute like the flowers and the plating, I loved it. The rose jelly (?) with the nuts was excellent, I don't usually have that and it was so yummy! I was on my way to have breakfast at Paul's Coffee Shop but I parked in front of this bakery and said to myself "why not" I ordered myself an iced americano and a ground beef borek. The coffee I feel like I can get anywhere, so not bad, but the borek was pretty good, it was flaky and warm like a Vietnamese pate chaud. The gentleman helping provided excellent service. I didn't expect for him to bring my order to the table but he did was very nice. That alone would make me come back one day. What a hidden gem this spot is! One of the few spots serving Turkish food for breakfast in the OC and they are doing it so well here! The interior is well decorated and there's plenty of table seating when you walk in. There's 2 display cases at the front showing a variety of baked goods and sweets that they have available. I settled on ordering the breakfast plate as it sounded pretty unique and I was not disappointed! The plate included eggs, a mixed salad, honey & butter, homemade strawberry jam, olives, simit, two cheeses, & two cups of turkish tea with sugar on the side! It was all very delicious and I quite enjoyed being able to sample and try the different items at my own pace. The eggs were freshly cooked and the bread was warm when I bit into it. The mix salad was refreshing and the jam and honey were great to slather onto the bread! The turkish tea definitely woke me up and I loved the flavor of it. This breakfast plate was so hearty and I got pretty full after eating it so I would say you are getting your money's worth. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful when I had any questions. I ordered the spinach omelette and it was a decent portion and it was really flavorful for just a spinach omelette. And we ordered the soujouk omelette. First off the dish was supposed to have poached eggs and the eggs were way overdone. In fact, they were fried. The yolks were completely overdone. The soujouk sausage was spicy and good but they were small, cut the size of quarters. And the portion was really small for $18. Wasn't worth the money but all in all it was tasty. It comes with a small baguette and that was good. Wow, just wow... Was craving for Turkish coffee and I found this nearby. They open from 8:30am so I have to wait for 15mins and not known what to expect since it's very flowery decor at the entrance. Once I got it, the lady (cook, chef, staff, waitress) was asking if I want a menu so I say yes - not hungry since I was about to go to the gym after the coffee. The next thing I know, I ordered breakfast, Soujuk Omlette...just say that I cleaned the plate and the sesame bagel. The coffee, well, it was delis and it came w/ a sweet and rose water. She offered me a compliment cup of tea with I drank it like water...then the thing I know I ordered baklava (4 to be exact). Yup, there go my figure and the gym. I'm going home for a nap for sure. Quaint and cozy place comes to mind in this Turkish Cafe. We wanted a new place to try something new for brunch and this place that was family-owned came up on Yelp nearby. I would have given 5 stars but a couple things went wrong. First, the eggs are not pouched, they are simply overcooked. Second, look at the portion of the soujuk omelette, not worth the price. However, to end up with a high note, the taste is amazing. The sausage has the right mixture of being spicy and salty and it works well with the eggs. We had an appointment in an office next door and decided to come over after for some treats! The inside was really cute and cozy. The workers were sweet and even gave us a sample of the atom and salty cookie to try! They were great, especially the salty one! I could see both being amazing pairs to either coffee or tea. So I have a soft spot for turkish food as it reminds of the time I lived in Qatar and took a trip to Turkey (but also because it was all around Qatar as well). Wow, what a hidden gem this is. I've eaten at Paul's next door and never noticed this place. My friend and I were eating at Turkish Kitchen about a block away and I was searching for other Turkish restaurants when I saw this place and knew I had to try it. They specialize in Turkish breakfast items. They do have a panini though if you don't feel like breakfast. Place is pretty big inside. You walk in and there's a bigger table for large groups but then they have several tables for smaller groups. They have have two display cases full of sweet and savory baked goods. My wife and I went in wanting to try a bunch of different things so they recommended the "Serpme" breakfast which is for sharing. It's hard to judge the size of it based off yelp photos but our waitress said it will be plenty of food. We figured we could order more later if needed but it ended up being PLENTY of food for two hungry people. This meal comes with 3 glasses of Turkish tea. It's strong and delicious so if two tea drinkers each get a refill you'll just pay for 1 cup since 3 are included. This was a very fun breakfast with lots of variety. We were brought out a basket of fresh baked rolls, a bowl of mixed salad, a metal dish with over easy eggs cooked with soujuk sausage, and a huge platter with different cheeses, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, grapes, dried apricots, some sort of nougat candy, simit which is like a bagel covered in toasted sesame seeds, homemade strawberry jam, thick bowl of honey, butter, and the most decadent cheese stuffed pastry I've ever had. So much stuff going on and plenty of it for us to eat our fill. The buttery cheesy pastry was our favorite and they sell it by the slice so next time I think I'll buy another so we each get our own piece! You'll be fighting over it. I used the simit to dip into the honey and the roll to eat up the best strawberry jam I've ever tasted. The soujuk was salty so that helped balance out all the sweet. Seriously, my wife and I loved the experience. After our meal I ordered two Turkish coffees which come with a piece of turkish delight and some rose infused water. Since I wanted to taste more stuff I also got a date cookie and some "salted cookies". Be warned, the coffee is scorching hot so let it cool down a bit. My wife hated the salted cookies but I really liked them so I got to eat both! Score! The date cookie was dense and filled with dates and paired perfect with the coffee. Turkish coffee makes espresso seem weak. Other things on the menu are a smaller version of the mix plate, spinach merlette, ground beef & eggs, avocado toast, fresh fruit pancakes, Menemen(scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers), and for somebody not in the mood for breakfast a soujuk panini. Wish I could have this for breakfast all the time. From looks alone, I thought the simit (Turkish bagel) was going to be dry, but it was so fluffy and tasty. I'm sure you could imagine how thrilled I was to find out that a Turkish breakfast spot is here in Orange County. Without leaving the country, I could finally see what all the hype is! But I do wish there was more variety. Here's what I recommend: 1.) Breakfast Plate - Good enough for two people to share. The eggs were so fluffy and the plate was gorgeous, but again, I wish the variety was the stuff of legends like the pictures I've seen. 2.) Avocado Toast - Just because you get 2 slices for the price of 1, haha. 3.) Ground Beef with Egg - It seems so simple, right?! Wrong! You can't easily replicate this at home. The beef is so juicy and buttery...it's not quite ground either, so it's a great texture to go with the eggs.
