Next time, I'll order through them directly and go pick it up as I know Door Dash up charges. We got the special kebab platter with rice and bulgar wheat. Mediterranean food, this is my personal favorite. As soon as we walked up to the place, we were cheerfully greeted by the owner! For me, it was kind of like visiting family, offering us hot tea, being hospitable. Very nice. All the food was delicious, all the meats were tender, nicely seasoned, just delicious. My personal favorite was the lamb chops. Furthermore, this is the first time I've ever had fresh "Middle Eastern Pizza" is commonly called Lahmacun. Stopped in here specifically to try their lahmajun, but we ended up getting extra hungry and ordering the meat platter for two as well, and honestly, that platter could easily feed four people! I can't even imagine how much food comes with the four-person platter. Everything was delicious and the portions are definitely generous. We also tried the yogurt drink, which is basically like a chilled plain kefir served in a cute copper cup. Just an FYI, there's no alcohol in it. I also loved that the menu has pictures of everything, which makes ordering so much easier, especially if you're not familiar with all the dishes. This is a very authentic Mediterranean spot tucked away in an older-looking plaza, and the entire dining area is outdoors. The servers were on it and very attentive, but they seem to prefer that you wave them over whenever you need something. The cucumber tomato salad was huge, super fresh, and amazing. Everything also came out incredibly fast, like we barely had to wait at all! Payment is handled right at the table, which was convenient. That is not mistake, waiter confirm that's how Mediterraneans separate dollars and coins by using comma instead of period. Didn't know that. I been on a binge for middle eastern/Mediterranean food and I'm so glad part of my journey has brought me here, to a quaint and homey restaurant serving some dishes I continue to discover today. Not pictured but on one of my visits I got the couplet kebab, which the tomato sauce and thick yogurt paired together super insanely well. On the next visit, my friend and I got the kebab platter with the shakshuka mezze, which was honestly the MVP we put that sauce on damn near everything. Food here is amazing and super authentic. It is spiced differently than a typical Mediterranean place which makes the flavors taste more unique. The spices are very aromatic and everything tastes very fresh and well seasoned. Something to note is that the yogurt drink is basically Salted unsweetened yogurt mixed with water or plain milk to thin it out. If you're expecting a sweet yogurt, this is NOT it. Best bread ever..... We were in the mood for Mediterranean and landed on this spot semi close to the house. Out the gate when the hummus and pastirma came out, we were blown away. The bread was thick and warm and soft. And the hummus was fresh, perfect thickness and flavor. First time trying lahmajun, and it was bomb. So flavorful with all the fresh veggies. We ordered the breakfast tray, an omelet, a cheese tray since there was barely any in their breakfast tray. Then waited for bread to come but apparently the bread was a separate order. The main dish that we were interested to order was also not available since you had to order it a day in advance. The service was terrible and I had to go in and ask for bread since they brought the food without any bread. The ambiance is just very casual but they had an outdoor sitting which we used. We were excited to eat here based on reviews. These are the facts. We ordered the sea bass. Way over cooked and filled with bones. You can see it in the pic as we could not eat a good portion of it. The pizza looking item had so many bell peppers on it the taste was way over powered by the bell peppers. The shrimp tempura was the best item. Service was terrible. We had to ask many times for plates, silverware and our check. I also ordered a black tea that never came. A huge argument broke out between the staff and a customer at a table behind me where the staff kept asking the customers to leave. All in all it was a very poor experience. I'm liking how Turkish cuisine is the newer thing in the food scene. There are more Turkish restaurants popping up in Orange County and I'm definitely a fan. After reading the recent reviews and viewing the pictures, my wife and I decided to try Anatolia for the first time the other night for dinner. We were the only ones there for a while and the dining area is outside in a semi closed area. The menu is easy to navigate and there are plenty of pictures on the menu to help make your choice easier. The all male staff are nice but communicating with the first server was a little challenging because their English was spotty. I need to learn to speak a little Turkish. We started with the Lamacun appetizer. We never had it before, but it was excellent. Sorry, no pics of this one. I ordered the Beef Lulah Adan entree and my wife ordered the grilled salmon entree. The portions are generous and the fresh herbs, onions, and spices make their dishes sing. We finished the evening with their home made Baklava and I washed it down with their Turkish tea. I love Turkish tea. We are so glad it's fairly close to our home and look forward to returning and trying their breakfast. read more

I ordered a chicken shish plate & lentil soup to go & everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The bulgar was especially good, the kind (owner I believe) Uzeyir offered extra to go and let me try the Lahmajun -- do yourself a favor and try it too. And the yogurt drink!! Brand new place in HB and opened for~ 2 months now. What a great addition to the neighborhood. The menu has lots to offer with too little time. We're definitely coming back to explore the rest. We had the Simit Omelette which tasted like Shakshouka, a variety of soft breads, and Turkish coffee. In the mood for some Turkish dining, we decided to check this place out. It's 5-miles from home and we have ones we like nearby, but decided on "something new." What a treat it turned out to be! First, the little restaurant and outdoor dining areas are clean and neatly appointed (as an aside, the restroom is reasonably clean too - good for their management AND staff for that). The atmosphere is very casual and cheery. The food! We were BOTH thrilled with what we got (and shared). Hers was a wonderfully seasoned chicken dish with a super flavorful rice side and a salad of lemon grass, freshly sliced onions and red pickled cabbage sauerkraut. My salad was the same and accompanied a seasoned, kofta-like beef dish with unusually tasty bulgur as a side. We shared an unusually big, slightly dense and very tasty pita. The garlic paste is also unusual for us. A bit creamy, which was unexpected and lots of garlic (We asked for a little more). Tempted but fully sated, we declined dessert but will try to have room for it next time. Service was courteous & fast and presentation was neat and good-looking. We're going back FOR SURE. This will be one of our top 3 or 4 Mediterranean restaurants despite its distance from home. read more
